Ford's Colony Country Club

Ford's Colony is such a beautiful venue and the staff is fantastic! Audrey was extremely helpful throughout the planning of the event and Ford's Colony was able to fulfill all of our needs. The price even ended up being less than we thought it would in the end! I would recommend them to anyone!

My reception was lovely, the room set up exactly how I wanted. The staff was great, but not on top of things as much as I would have wanted. I would suggest if you don't have a wedding coordinator to have someone who at the beginning of the reception talks to the staff and is clear on the schedule of events you want. The food was okay, not spectacular but not bad. The room made it worth it. I was in the banquet room, it was perfect for dim lighting and candles.

The team at Ford's Colony is great! They took care of everything we asked for, were pleasant and professional, and made sure we were comfortable. The 3.5 stars for responsiveness is for a slight delay in email responses.

This venue was a great location and value, but the staff was very unprofessional and inexperienced. If you use this venue you should definitely have a wedding planner like I did. This was a gorgeous location and the pavilion was large enough to accommodate our large wedding with a dance floor and lounge. I highly recommend this venue if you have a good planner by your side.

Ford's Colony Country Club is a wonderful event space with a dedicated, professional staff that cares about service and quality. They are responsive and accurate from booking, to the planning phase, and through the event execution. The facility is lovely, and has a great "outdoor feel indoors", with lots of light and impeccable grounds. Photo opportunities at the club are some of the best in Williamsburg. We love to work with Ford's Colony and definitely recommend that Williamsburg-bound couples consider it in their venue search.

Lynn Ford and her staff, including banquet captain Irina do amazing work. The facility, which is always beautiful, transforms into a magical place when it's decorated for weddings. The food is delicious and the service impeccable. Ford's Colony is one of the best wedding venues in Williamsburg!

We have worked approximately twenty events there the past 4 years and have first hand experience of their dedication to excellence.

Chasity and the staff at Ford's Colony make it their priority to team up with all the vendors with one goal in mind: Creating the perfect event for the client. The venue is fantastic with the beautiful golf course as the backdrop. We have provided sound for ceremonies near the lake and the scenery is perfect for an outdoor wedding.
