Tuxedo rental was not something I did every day, so I was glad when my bride (or fiancee at the time) wanted to go to a bridal show. There were about three different tuxedo vendors at the show, all had their own booth/table and representatives, and after talking to them all, we went with International Formal for the wedding. Their staff at the bridal show was awesome, but their locations in the South Bay Area (and one up a little more north) helped our wedding party be able to get fitted, pick them up and return them without any worry. I visited two locations over the months before the wedding and both were helpful and a breeze to deal with. We also picked them because their warehouses are in the South Bay as well (vs some other company that has theirs in Texas), so if an emergency came up, we knew we could get something right away. When the day came, everyone looked sharp, clean and fantastic. The hemming jobs were well done, the jackets fit, the colors were right, and we all looked amazing (if I do say so myself!). Returning the tuxes went without a hitch as well! Great place!

I have to say my husband looked amazing on our wedding day and so did the rest of the groomsmen. We went to a wedding fair and they proved us a really great deal out of all the vendors.

We had the fortune to have Grace help us with my husband's and the groomsmen tuxes. She's awesome and so are the rest of the staff at Formal Headquarters. They're so friendly and so accommodating.Word of the wise: Get your tuxes as early as possible. It gets crowded if you wait until late afternoon to pick them up.

Hannah Tran was professional, very helpful and easy to work with. Most of us were coming in from out of town and called their measurements in. Hannah and her crew did a great job getting everyone fitted up on time without any issues and everyone looked good.

The customer service was not great at all. I'm usually a nice reviewer but I have to tell future bride that this part of their business needs serious improvements.
First the constant calls. This company non-stopped called me to offer 3 free tux. We thought great. What a deal but why do they have to call me 50 times after I said I wasn't interested? This should've been my red flag. But we thought what a saving and we'll check out the place. We got there and they helped us out to pick up a great selection of suits based on our color scheme. And at the end it worked out perfectly as far as putting the vision together.
Then came the picking up the tux after everyone's has been measured. My jr. groomsman ended up with a small tux. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? It threw the day before my wedding schedule off by a lot. My moh (mother of the jr gm) and I was supposed to go shopping but she had to put that off in order to get this fix. She thought it would be opened early but nope. It doesn't open til noon with no emergency back up. This made me nervous. So we ended up doing our errands and she picked up her son and took him back at noon. They apologize and failed to mention that they were short on his size. SHORT ON HIS SIZE. WHAT!? When we signed with them they said they had a great amount of stock. WTH!!! IF they were so unsure of the stock in his size when they measured him they should've told them to go elsewhere. And my moh said that the people in the store was completely clueless with what to do when she came in with this problem. I didn't have any bridezilla moment throughout the wedding planning on any vendors and this was the first I was ready to lash out on. They were able to finally come up with something and even then it wasn't completely comfortable for our jr. groomsman.
Then the next issue was when they were told at the time of drop off where the cufflinks were in the garment bag. They told my brother in law that it wasn't there and they were going to charge DH for 3 set of missing cufflinks. DH was mad but what can you do. We weren't there at the time of the drop off. About a week later they called and said they found it. It was where they were told it was. Umph!
Needless to say we don't recommend you go with this place unless they improve their services. The savings was not worth it.

terrible.
it was nice that we were able to try on the tuxes when ordering instead of just flipping through a catalog and it's nice that they were able to make some necessary changes and alterations while we waited, but overall, the experience was bad.
we had to go back 3 times to finally get everyone properly dressed. buttons were loose. belts were broken. sizes were wrong. and they forgot one person's entire tuxedo! service was extremely slow on pickup day (they really need to hire more help on pickup days) and the sales ladies would disappear in back for looong periods of times.
everything turned out fine in the end, but it was really more hassle, headache, stress and trips back and forth than it should've been.
i do NOT recommend going there.

The staff seems friendly, but they play tricks like saying their giving you a discount when they're not (I was purchasing a shirt and vest). For example, they'll tell you they're having a wedding special for 30% off and give you the total "with" the discount included, only to find out that the "discounted" prices (if you ask them for itemized prices) come out to exactly $49.99, $79.99, $29.99... you get the gist of it. Why 3 stars? I ended up getting a decent deal when I asked for my deposit back, which they promised it was refundable. They have nice things, but their tacky tactics are a big minus.
