Formally Yours

We went to Formally Yours because they are the one shop in town that doesn't require appointments. The staff are friendly and helpful and I found my gorgeous wedding dress with their help!! They have beautiful dresses at great prices!

I went to Formally Yours because they seemed to have all the dresses I had found online (many shops would have one or two, but Formally Yours had them all!). The consultants are young but really know the store's merchandise. My consultant brought it a dress that I would have NEVER picked myself but when I put it on, I knew it was the one! It had most of the elements I knew I wanted but had a few quirks that would have made me pass right over it! Thank you to my consultant! My bridesmaids got their dresses here because of the discount. After reading some reviews, I was hesitant to get the dresses through this store, but we never had any problems. They were up front about all charges, discounts, etc. They were organized unlike many other stores--I have had to get two bridesmaid dresses for friends weddings in the last two months and these stores (NOT formally yours) have been horrible. The other stores had the wrong dress where I had to correct them, or they tried to charge me the undiscounted price, etc. NONE of this happened to my girls at Formally Yours. I also got my alterations done here because of the alterations cap-I only paid 180 for everything and Liliya, the seamstress, is awesome. She also altered my mom's dress for only 60 (there were extensive alterations to be done so the price is very reasonable compared to others). Overall, we had a great experience.

The staff at Formally Yours were so helpful in the whole process. This was my 2nd purchase there. I was a maid of honor a few years ago and purchased my dress here and loved them so much I went back for my wedding dress and could not be happier with the service!!

I would not recommend this place to anyone. They made false promises, ordered the wrong length, and beads were falling off the dress when I got it.

I had a great experience at Formally Yours! When I first walked in, I was greeted by Lindsey, who is one amazing bridal consultant. I had tried on a few dresses at another shop, but really had no idea what type of dress I wanted. I started talking to Lindsey, and she asked what elements I liked in a dress - I named 5 or 6 random elements that I liked, and she immediately knew what dress I should try. I absolutely fell in love with the very first dress she pulled for me. I tried on about a dozen other dresses, but none compared to the first one! If you're confused about what type of dress you want - go talk to Lindsey and she will solve your dress woes!Also, Lindsey also helped me solve all of my bridesmaid dress/color issues. She literally spent several hours with me - helping me pick colors and dresses that would look great on my bridesmaids. The price was great - with the discount the dress price was lower than any other shop I found in the metro Atlanta area.My dress and all of my bridesmaids' dresses arrived quickly with absolutely no issues! There were a few issues with alterations - I only had a hem and bustle put into my dress, so that wasn't an issue. One of my bridesmaids, however, had to have some MAJOR alterations done to her dress. I believe the wrong size was ordered, but the shop tells you that they only recommend a size, so they aren't liable for that. However, the seamstress was able to fix the dress - but my BM had to order an extra yard of fabric (at $50 a yard! YIKES!) and get extensive alterations done. Thankfully, there is a cap on alterations so despite having the entire top of the dress redone, the alterations only cost $40. We were very considered about the dress right until she picked it up two days before the wedding, but as promised, the dress was fixed and my BM looked great! Another thing with alterations - her hours are nuts. I know the shop doesn't control that because she's an individual vendor, but it's very difficult to get alterations done if you aren't available during the week because she's only there one Saturday a month. Overall, a great experience with Formally Yours. If you go there, ask for Lindsey! (who is also starting to get into floral design - she did all of my flowers and they were AMAZING!)

I live in New York, home to Kleinfeld (SAY YES TO THE DRESS) and the home base for Vera Wang. But my parents live in Lilburn, Georgia, so I thought I’d check out some shops with my mom during a trip home, since I hadn’t found anything I liked in New York. And guess what? A shop in Georgia had something none of the stores in New York had. Before coming to Formally Yours, I had never heard of the Martina Liana brand, and I’m so happy that Lindsey introduced me to it. My dress was absolutely perfect! I had planned to change into a reception dress, but I didn’t want to take off the gown—I wore it the entire night! Now, I’m finding that tons of bridal shops carry the Martina Liana/Essence of Australia lines. It’s nice to know that Formally Yours was there first, just in time to show me the perfect dress.And their seamstress, Lillya, is the best! She turned the one-shoulder, jeweled strap into a lovely halter, gave the top a deeper sweetheart, and made the dress fit me like a dream.On one note, although I enjoyed working with Lindsey, the other staff during my dress fittings were a tad cold (except a brunette girl who helped me with the veil--she was nice). Maybe I'm just used to all the wedding kindness I received from other vendors!

I had a terrific experience at FY! They staff is VERY nice and they were so helpful in answering any questions that I had! They dress came in perfect timing, and their seamstress is top notch!!!! GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

Formally Yours was a lifesaver for me. I was able to find the most awesome bridal gown. I was also able to get the most flattering dresses for my girls. Everyone knows how difficult it is to try to flatter all your bridesmaids with one gown. The staff was very helpful and friendly and we all looked gorgeous on my wedding day!

I found my dress here after looking at several other places. LOVED my dress, but in retrospect, I wish I would have purchases it somewhere else. I went in a few months before the wedding to have the dress (I purposely ordered big) taken in. The seamstress pinned the dress on me, but when I picked it up 2 weeks later, it was WAY too tight. (I had even lost 2 pounds.) The shop did nothing to help me find a solution, and the seamstress was reluctant to make changes to the dress. I found the situation extrememly frustrating, and I never felt like they were interested in providing quality service. The sale had been made, and I was on my own. Long story short... I found several dresses here that I liked, but if I had it to do over, I'd have gone to a different store to order the one I picked. As a side note, they charged me $10-15 for the dress bag. You'd think they could throw that in for free after I spent nearly $1000 on a dress.

Formally Yours was awesome! I went to about 15 stores before coming here, and the first dress she gave me to try on was "The One". And off the rack so it was 25% off! I would totally recommend them to anyone!!!

Formally Yours was the only place in the state that I could find a dress I had seen online. My consultant was very helpful and gave me options. My dress was perfect and it actually arrived in the store the same week I ordered it. Dealing with the seamstress was a little stressful because her hours are weird and I felt like she was trying to deal with too many brides at once. Once it was done, though, my dress fit perfectly. Now, all of my friends are getting their dresses here because it is a unique place with reasonable prices- especially the 1st vist 15% off.

I found the perfect wedding drees for my personality here! The staff was great at helping me narrow down the style I was envisioning, since there were so many dresses to choose from. I was able to get a better price since the dress on the rack was my size. We also had the alterations done at this store, and I was very happy with the finished product.

My girls looks online and every other shop on their free time. I got my dress at a different shop but the brides maids and maid of honor dresses were purshased at Formally Yours. The staff were very helpfull, the dresses came early enough for alterations. The lady that did the alterations was very nice, she worked fast so the girls could get their dresses early for the wedding. I would recommend others to visit them before deciding on the first place you go to. I searched online for a long time and finally I found them and my girls were able to find something they likes. The dresses looked great.

I have been using the store for my formal dresses since I was in high school, and Formally Yours did a great job in assisting with my wedding dress as well as all of my bridesmaids dresses, as expected. The girls did a great job of listening to what I was interested in and not forcing anything on me. Something to consider. They also give a 15% discount if you buy the dress the day you come in to try it on. The only problem I encountered with Formally Yours was when I needed to get my wedding dress altered. Normally the seamstress is at the store monday-friday, but it seemed that everytime I would drive from Augusta she was not there. After three tries I finally set up an appointment with her. She was very creative with my bustle, giving me a combination of an american and french bustle. It looked awesome! I would definitely recommend this store. Their service was fantastic!

I drove all the way to Atlanta to find my dream gown. The staff is very helpful and the alterations were perfect so the drive was not in vain each time. I was suprised to see how many options they offer and the variety in stock. I had looked at dresses in the area where I live for over a year and this was my first and only stop in Atlanta.

There are so many dresses to choose from. To me it seemed like the dresses were all thrown together but the owner knew exactly where all of the dresses were. I shopped around so many places and found that Formally Yours offered the biggest discount on bridal dresses. Overall, so far have had a great experience there.

They were all wonderful. Everyone was helpful and so knowledgable! And the alterations woman was fantastic! All around a great experience. I would recommend them to anyone!

I had a great experience trying on and ordering my wedding dress from this vendor. The only snafu was when they custom ordered the hem on my dress and it was a little long. I was able to wear taller heals to fix the problem, but it was a little frustrating at the time. Overall, a great vendor to do business with.

The team at Formally Yours is great to work with. I brought in about 20 pages of bridal gown pictures I had taken out of bridal magazines so one of the employees could get an idea of the dress I was looking for and she pulled easily 15 dresses for me to try off those and I found the one there the first time. I went to another location for wedding gowns but still loved the experience at Formally Yours and finally came back and bought my dress off the rack (with an additional discount for off the rack) and the tropical flower I put in my hair. Thanks ladies!

Not really a bridal salon, but more of a dressed up bridal warehouse. Great deals, but not as much personal attention.

My experience with Formally Yours was awesome! All the girls were really sweet each time I went and you can’t beat the prices! Plus, alterations were much less than I expected – and the lady was so nice!

Incredible selection, but very rude staff. I got the dress of my dreams here but we were kicked out of the store into a serious hail storm because it was closing time. The lady who worked there asked us if we lived far because of the storm and when we said no, she said "that sucks". I used to be a bridal consultant at a dress salon and we would have never done that. I also was given a very crooked hem in alterations.

They're great when you are looking for a dress, but once you pay, they couldn't care less for you or your needs. This is a high volume place, so you won't get 1 on 1 attention. Their dress selection is amazing, though.

My dress was perfect. An Alfred Angelo. The price was the beat around. The only issued I had was that I was told the dress would be in at certain time but it was 2 or 3 weeks later before dress came in. The other issue was that the seamstress could not put a bustle in the dress without the stitches being seen from the outside. I ended up not using their seamstress.

The dress was beautiful. Awesome price. Couldn't beat it by a long shot. Everyone was very helpful and gave great discounts on my other bridal accessories I purchased

If I hadn't already purchased things elsewhere, I most likely would have used their services for everything. It was so straightforward and uncomplicated. Formally Yours is your one stop wedding shop.

They had the dress I wanted and the staff was very friendly. They price was also better than any I had seen and they gave me a discount for being a first time client. Highly recommend them even though its a drive from DT Atlanta.

Formally Yours has been my families go-to wedding dress shop for generations. I walked in, described what I was looking for, and a few samples were pulled for me to try on. I found "the one" in one day! The service was fabulous. I never had one issue with my gown,bridesmaids dresses, mothers dresses, or shoes-they made sure everything was perfect for my wedding day. Formally Yours will exceed expectations. I'd recommend them to every bride!

There was a great selection of both Wedding Dresses and Bridesmaids Dresses, and they have reasonable prices. However, it is one of the smaller locations that I visited while looking in Atlanta. Allow yourself time to go through the dresses or know what you are looking for(mainly for bridesmaids dresses). The service is decent at times depending on who assists you.

They were very helpful on my first visit. I really liked their first time visitor's incentive where you buy on your first day and pay in full and you receive a discount. However, when I went back for fittings, it always seemed that they were always busy with other people and I was always waiting. It's just a small shop and not all the girls can be in one spot. I think it would be helpful if Bride's were appt. based and had one person to help them during their process. Overall, the service was pretty good.

Great prices for beautiful dresses. My bustle was fantastic. They allow you to take photos, which is a great help; however, their level of assistance is sometimes lacking.

I loved the dress I got from Formally Yours! On my wedding day I felt beautiful in the dress that I found in a pinch (off the rack!)... The alteration specialist did a fantastic job doing the bustle (everything else fit perfectly and no other alteration was needed). The whole process was smooth and easy.... unlike what you'll find in chain stores (trust me, I used to work in one!) and I even got 15% off for buying the day I found the dress. Don't go anywhere else.... this is the place to get your dress!

Formally Yours did a fantastic job handling my dress, bridesmaid dresses, jewlery and my mother's dress and shoes! They were all very helpful and have a great selection in dresses. I really love that this is a smaller shop and they really take the time to help you out. This isn't David's Bridal so you won't see eveyone one else wearing your dress. It truly makes you feel special. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Formally Yours is a wonderful place for a bride! I was so happy to find Formally Yours. Before finding this store I searched all over Atlanta for a wedding dress including both the high end and the low end stores and had both mediocre and even bad experiences which no bride wants. The small family run business is great! They spend a lot of time with you and the atmosphere is very relaxed and low pressure. Cathy and Scarlett (the mother daughter team) are so sweet and sincere. I found my dream dress the first time I went out to the store. They carry numerous lines and they are also very affordable! They also carry bridesmaid, mother of the bride and flower girl dresses and veils and other items like jewelry. I found my wedding dress, veil, shoes and bridesmaid dresses there. The orders all came in on time and were correct. My bridesmaids were happy too because they got a discount since I bought my wedding dress there. Even after I bought my dress I went in a couple of times to try it on again for different family members and they treated me special each time and were very patient (they let you take pictures etc.). The seamstress (Dora) who they had on staff was also an exceptional person! She customized my dress for me by making me sleeves for the church and spent so much time and talent on my dress. Formally Yours also has a new salon too since I bought my dress and it is very open bright and nice. I would highly recommend this salon to all brides!

The selection at Formally Yours is amazing! The made it simple for me to find the dress of my dreams and also find dresses for my bridesmaids.

I love this store! the dresses are beautiful, the selection is out of this world!! The ladies helping me were wonderful. they let me pick out as many dresses as i wanted, and then helped me to narrow it down. The store was hardly ever crowded, so i felt like i was the only bride that matter when i was in there. It was great!

I originally found my gown while studying abroad in Oxford, England. I had gone dress shopping with a few girlfriends and fell in love with the gown right away. The wanted 900 pounds for it at the shop in Whitney (roughly $1800), so I checked online when I got home and when I found out that it was an American designer, I had my mother place the order at Formally Yours. It cost a third of what it would have in England and came in quickly.Their shop is small and a bit cramped, but it was a great value!

Formally Yours provided the groom and groomsmen with their suits, vests & shoes. I wanted the groom's vest to match the color of my bridesmaid dresses and that was easy to do since they had a wide selection of colors and patterns. They had everything ready when they were supposed to and were flexible on the return time. I would recommend them to you.
