Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel

i have been to multiple weddings at the fort snelling club, i loved everyone of them. i was utterly dissappointed the night of my wedding. the management (barb)there would not work with us ahead of time, never returning calls or answering questions. the waitress in the restaurant helped us more than the management.the night of the wedding: our dinner was delayed, it took them 45 minutes to serve water and coffee, when they were suppose to have them on the table before guests arrived. the food was dry, the vegetables were undercooked. we paid for cake service, we had to ask them for 30 minutes to start cutting the cake, when they did, they sent out one old lady to do it, but no servers. one of my relatives had to help cut and serve all the cake, which took over 30 minutes.the whole night went well otherwise, but fort snelling just made it impossible to enjoy the evening with no worries...

They were very accomadating, you do have to book your rehursal on a wed or thur so if your wedding is on a saturday you have a couple days in between.

The Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel is nostalgic and gorgeous inside and out. The beautiful little church is an option regardless of your religion or your participation in the armed services. Although you do receive a discount if both bride and groom were members of the armed forces.
We chose this location because of it's beautiful setting and the historical setting for an evening wedding. This church is already adorned with red velvet carpet and pews, stained glass windows and flags representing the different areas of the armed forces. These decorations cannot be removed! We plan on using hundreds of candles for a romantic evening wedding!

Romantic Chapel full of History and Charm! We are both fell in love with this Chapel the minute we drove across the little bridge that seperates it from the rest of the compound. The non-denominational aspect of the venue fit our life style as we have a personal friend who performed the service for us. The space is intimate yet held our 170 guests without a problem. The caretaker, Darrell was fabulous! He was married at the Chapel himself and is more than willing to help you arrange any thing you need, from where to set up the unity candles to a musician to play the restored pipe organ. He's your "go-to" guy! And at 80+ years old, he gets the job done. We couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to be wed.

This is a great place to get married if you or someone you know are in the military. It is such a quaint, cute little chapel. You are allowed to bring in your own pastor and musicians and you can run your ceremony however it pleases you! It is also very low in cost if you are military! The only downside was that it was a little hard for some guests to find and it is on the smaller side. Other than that, it is perfect!

My wife and I chose Chaplin Beale simply because we had chosen his church for our wedding--having no knowledge of him. Boy were we impressed! During the rehearsal he was able to entertain as well as instruct, and was able to use his sense of humor, knowledge and army background well to captivate the audience.As for the ceremony, I cannot count how many have expressed to me how excellent of a job Chaplin Beale did. He is an all-around wonderful public speaker that just happens to also be a Chaplin. Other than the fact that they don’t let you throw rice or rose petals or anything that hits the ground, no matter what you sign, they were so reasonably priced, perfectly cleaned, and reliable.
