Our wedding took place at the Japanese Gardens. The staff replied to emails promptly and the gardens were beautiful. Double check if you need to rent chairs because apparently it is only at the Botanical Gardens; the Japanese Gardens uses an outside vendor for that and it can add up. We were allowed to bring our own chairs for our musicians. The gardens are going through a remodeling process and some areas that were available previously; were blocked off but we managed to have a beautiful wedding nonetheless.

Had ceremony and we were really given liberty to do what we wanted but couldnt not put anything in the ground or hang anything. Rules were not exactly clear and not much was provided to chose from.
We basically had to create it all ourselves. Pictures of previous weddings/setups would be very helpful!!

At first I was a bit concerned about some seemingly constricting rules, but then after making special inquiries, and seeing what we could do to make our event exact the way we wanted it, I found that we could do what we needed and they were very flexible. It was a wonderful venue, the beautiful gardens as the backdrop for my daughter's wedding, with the reception just a short walk away from the ceremony. All in one place, it turned out to be a fabulous time, with professional flexible people providing excellent customer service. Thank you for helping us make this a very memorable experience, with only good memories, no bad ones!

My husband and I had our wedding and reception at these gardens. We had our ceremony in the Fuller gardens. It was only 300 dollars for the ceremony and that includes the bridal room. For such a beautiful outdoor venue, that's an AMAZING deal. It was gorgeous!
The reception was great. The staff are really willing to help with anything that they can. They're very nice. My only critique is that you have to go through a hassle if you want to serve any beer or liquor at your reception. I guess that they don't want people getting too drunk which is a legitimate concern, but at a wedding reception, people drink! Also, you're not permitted to serve red wine. I guess someone stained one of their floors once. That didn't bother me too much, but I could see it bothering someone else. We did get the special permission for the beer, and we only served beer and white wine.
Those are just small issues. My reception turned out great! I cried at my reception because it was so...

I had both my wedding and reception at the Fort Worth Botanical Garden. I really hate to mark them down because in the last month before my wedding I worked with the customer service supervisor Diana and she was absolutely wonderful to work with. Even on our wedding day it was pouring down rain and we had to be moved inside she really worked with us and the wedding turned out to be better than I could imagine. The only reason I marked them down was specifically due to one person. I first booked my wedding there I was working with a guy that was really rude and inconsiderate. When we called to ask questions about what type of chair would be in the garden for the wedding to see about getting covers he said "It's just a chair." Then I wanted to add time to the beginning and end of my reception and called him so he could do my credit card over the phone and he told me that he wouldn't do it (even though they did it before) and I would have to come in so he can change the contract. When I asked if I could do that on Saturday (since I booked my wedding on a Saturday and had come in to pay for items multiple times on a Saturday with no issue) he said no because he is only there Mon - Fri 9-5. I had to get my husband to go and do this during his lunch. Come to find out he didn't even update the contract.
My only warning is really read the contract because there are alot of restrictions and watch for extra costs (chairs for the wedding in the garden cost $5 each). Overall it was still less expensive than most other locations I...

I loved this place and it was everything I wanted it to be, including cheap. We had our wedding in the Japanese Garden, and it was gorgeous. We only paid $350 for two hours. It was worth it even though it was over 100 degrees. Notes to browsing brides: they don't close the park for you, so other people might be walking around awkwardly. Also, we were extremely limited to what we could bring in, and how many people could be invited. We only had 20 guests and brought in only fans for the heat. But that's the way we wanted it, so it was great.

Beautiful venue! Staff was friendly and helpful during all visits prior to the wedding as well as during the event. We highly recommend this location

BEAUTIFUL place (we had our ceremony and reception in the Japanese Gardens). You have to use their caterer, very restrictive on timing of event. If you really want the venue, be prepared to play by their rules.

We had our wedding and reception in The Gardens Resturant. I guess they tried but was not up to standard. they almost seemed like they resented that they had to say late that evening..held off putting out the food..they boxed up the rest for us to take while we still had hungty guest. Hate to say it went in the trash...no way we could have eaten all that they didnt put out for our guest. The lead girl got attuitude with our guest over rolls when she asked for more...It is a dream to have your wedding there but the lead girl just didnt care..

I have to say that picking a garden to have my wedding in June didn't seem smart to most people. But this garden was the best! Behind us we had a Coi pond and water fall. The flowers were beautiful. And the staff were great too. I felt like a queen when I was there! I would recommend this location to anyone who wants romance and nature.

The gardens were a great site for us. Even though it was quite hot, the setting was beautiful just liked I dreamed. The value for the money is great too. We held our reception in Redbud hall, which worked out wonderfully for us. I loved the convenience of not having to leave the ceremony site for the reception. I would recommend them and use them again if I ever had a need for it.

The Botanical Gardens in Fort Worth would be a beautiful place to have a wedding. The only problem I had was that they don't permit more then 10 chairs, so all my guests would have to stand. Otherwise, I would get married there because its naturally beautiful and extremely reasonable.

We were married in March in a spring garden and everything was beautiful. The gardens provided the perfect setting for our simple spring wedding.

The Fort Worth Botanic Gardens are beautiful and the price is amazing. My only complaint is that the coordinator is not the friendliest person in the world.
My suggestion is to have a very good "Plan B" in case of rain. This venue does not provide good options in case of rain (please be VERY CLEAR as to where they tell you the alternative places are).

I couldn't believe how much money I saved having my wedding at the Botanical Gardens. All of the staff was nice and accomodating. It was wonderful! I would not have chosen another place to have my wedding.

We chose the Fuller Garden at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. The garden features a large stone gazebo-type structure with a small fountain inside. It is surrounded by a small pond/waterfall and tons of flowers. We had about 30 guests, which were easily accomadated by the size of the garden. We shared the evening with the Ft. Worth symphony orchestra, who held the start of the concert until after our ceremony--which we found very considerate (and impressive!). The garden was beautiful, with additional flower baskets hanging from the gazebo that had not previously been there when we first viewed the garden. Perhaps they were added just for the wedding?
We reserved a small meeting room for our reception. Everything was clean and well presented.
We were very satisfied with our experience at the Fort Worth Botanical Garden and would highly recommend the location.

Since I was married outside in the Fuller Garden, I did not have any involvement with the staff, which was fine. The people I spoke with during booking were very nice and were more than happy to tour the garden with me and work out any details. The downside of getting married outside is that no one is allowed to stand on the grass, and you're only allowed to use 10 chairs (I think) and they have to stay on the walkways, and you have to provide them. That means everyone has to stand, and in places they have to crowd together so no one is on the grass.
BEAUTIFUL!!!
Nothing else can be said.
The staff will make you feel like you are the most important person on the planet.... and you are!
