We hired Frank with very short notice to shoot a beach wedding in Florida. What can I say; the pictures were stunning.
As usual at a wedding there were lots of family and friends trying to take pictures during the offical pictures; Frank handled them professionally and prevented their potential interference from distracting the subjects. He made the children laugh when needed, and ensured that every person in the large group shots were looking directly at the camera, ensured they removed their glasses, did not have any junk sticking out of their pockets, and even removed stray beach sticks and debris from the shot.
Would recommend the Bald Guy and will certainly be keeping his number for our next event.

Frank Donnino was an absolute joy to work with right from the start. He didn’t have to do much to convince me, though, as I already knew that I wanted him to do our wedding from looking at his work. Frank truly captures all the beautiful and important things in a wedding—the emotion, the love, the joy, and the personalities of the bride and groom. He is easy to work with and always puts his clients first! I was being eaten alive by mosquitoes during the pre-wedding shots, and lo and behold, Frank came to the rescue with a bottle of bug spray! Thank goodness!
Frank was lots of fun to work with during the photo shoot and really took advantage of the natural lighting and worked to create poses that my husband and I liked. Not to mention that he had a gorgeous video and the complete photos ready for us that very evening.

Frank is awesome! My wife and I got married in December in Miami and had a dual-ceremony Cambodian/American wedding. Frank made the trip from Boynton Beach to photograph our special day with our loved ones. He and his assistant knew exactly what type of photos would bring the best out of both my husband and I as well as our family, and it was a HUGE plus that our photos were ready the very NEXT DAY, fully edited, and released with rights to our own photos. He even set up a beautiful website with all of the pictures taken that day in a slideshow with music. It was very convenient to have the website so our out-of-town relatives could feel as if they did not miss a thing. We both LOVE Frank and his work and would highly recommend him to anyone. There are so many things to consider when planning a wedding day. Make sure you are marrying the right person and make sure you have the right photographer! The moment we met Frank, we instantly noticed his great energy. He made us feel very comfortable. It was also obvious that he has tons of experience, so we had a good feeling about him from the very beginning. My wife and I decided to elope, and although we did not want the large wedding we still wanted lots of great pictures to relive our great wedding day for years to come. My wife set out looking for the right photographer and reviewed many online portfolios prepared by multiple photographers. Of all the portfolios, she thought Frank's was the best and we decided to hire him. His website is such a reflection of who Frank is, creative and different. The photos are breath-taking and truly capture the emotions and individuality of each couple. Frank was quick to contact us and was always available if we had questions or concerns.

The day of the wedding Frank showed up early and went right to work reviewing the area and mentally lining up the photos he wanted to take. Frank and his assistants were extremely easy to work with; each of of them had a great sense of humor and were enthusiastic about finding and taking the perfect photo. Photography was the most important aspect of my wedding day. I was not willing to budge on the quality of my photographer. From the moment I met Frank and he shared his work and his experience, I was hooked. Frank's portfolio and his shots on my wedding day speak for themselves. The lighting in Frank's shot, I find to be the one of the most amazing qualities of his work. Many photographers can get the light right in one or two photos but Frank gets it right in every photo and never ceases to amaze. One of the best parts of working with Frank was feeling respected and cared for. Many vendors I met with or even in the beginning with some I dealt with I was not taken seriously. Silas and I are a young couple and many vendors I met with did not take as serious customers and worth their time. Frank however always treated with the utmost respect and regarded my every concern as worthy of his time. I love each and every one of my vendors from the cake to the DJ but getting a hold of Frank was easy, comforting, and he did an astounding job at being within arms length. When I send Frank an email within the next five minutes I have received a reply which either answers my question or lets me know he got the message and will be back to me in the next hour. When some people say they will get back to you in an hour that hour can pass but with Frank it was always right when he said he would.

Another concerning aspect was that I booked most of my vendors over a year in an advance. Getting in touch with them and feeling remembered was sometimes difficult. Frank never ever treated me as though I was only worth his while as the day approached. I was constantly in contact up until the day of the wedding and I never was given a back seat because my wedding was a year away.

Hiring Frank was the next best thing to saying "I do". He is an artist, a professional, and a kind hearted person. He is always learning new techniques to make sure each one of his photos are top rated for all of his clients.

Come the big day, I couldn’t have been more pleased to have Frank as a part of our wedding team. My wedding day was the day we started getting hit with bands from Tropical Storm Isaac. Thankfully, Frank knew how to handle the situation. He was able to get all the bridal party and first look shots in before the high force winds came. Then, even with the storm coming in, he was able to get the photos of my new husband and I on the beach (which is what I REALLY wanted). The pictures came out gorgeous! He knew exactly what to do to turn a potentially horrible situation into beauty.

At the reception, my DJ was all over the place and not sticking to the proper schedule. If it wasn’t for Frank I don’t think we would have cut the cake until 11pm. He also made sure that my other vendors were on track so I wouldn’t have to be concerned. This allowed me to completely enjoy the big day without any hint of worry.

With Frank it isn’t about the money; it's about having happy and satisfied newlyweds. My husband and I recently got married and have previously used Frank Donnino for our family portraits and loved his work. Being a wedding planner, as well as a very excited Bride-to-Be, I started the search for my vendors very early on, and after hours of research and comparison (service provided, pricing, along with personal traits), I decided that My Bold Photographer, Frank Donnino, would be a great fit. Why such, would you ask ? I know firsthand how important it is for the Bride and Groom to be relaxed in front of the camera, and Frank was showing a serious humor all through his Facebook posts and website, and I also loved the fact that he is so much into helping his Community and giving back, with his family in tow. I got the chance to meet him beforehand (not always easy while planning a destination wedding), as he was nice enough to meet with me while on a cruise in Grand Cayman. Finally, more than a year after booking him, our Big Day arrived ! I was pleasantly surprised to see him arriving with quite a crew, being a second photo pro named Jeff (oh yes, this is very valuable and a huge luxury to have two photo pros instead of one only!) along with their lovely assistant Kelly (almost a PA to the Bride, and oh so sweet !!!). The wedding pictures included preparation on both the Bride and the Groom’s side (do you see now the use of two photo pros ?), first look pictures (I was not sure about it, even though I witnessed it many times, but after all, being the Bride yourself is another story !!. Let me tell you : this is something you have to do ! It gave us the most emotional, magical, meaningful pictures of our daughters with us, in private, quietly before all our guests surround us at all times), then the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, formal pictures and the reception.
Yes, this is a lot of hours for a vendor to work, but even though the intense summer heat of Miami had him sweat barrels, Frank was totally committed, organized, professional and this, right up to the end of the night! Our ceremony and reception were at two separate venues, so he ran from the ceremony/cocktail to the reception before everybody else, so he could take the perfect pictures I needed to have of the décor, settings, tables, cake, candy buffet and much more. Being in the wedding industry, I had a list of very specific shots I wanted him to take, and with kelly’s help and my list, all those wishes were fully respected and delivered.
Two days later (if that), to my biggest surprise, the pictures were all sent to us, while we were still with our family and friends in Florida (so they also got the chance to enjoy them). Over 700 pictures!! How do you want me to choose my favorites? I eventually was able to create a “favorite” folder, but I couldn’t tell you how many pictures it includes…. Many, believe me. They were all fabulous (of course a fabulous Bride and Groom truly helped LOL), and we enjoyed them so much! The style, quality, creativity was perfect. I will be able to use those pictures not only on a personal but also on a professional basis, which is what I truly needed to achieve. Frank got this, Frank understood me, and Frank delivered! Now after my long story, you know what you have to do : chat to your Groom, grab your phone, and give Frank a call ! He will be delighted to meet you at a local Starbucks or over Skype and, oh did I tell you? He not only can serve Florida, but is also able to travel if your venue is located elsewhere (truly worth the extra cost if you have the guarantee to deal with a true professional). But don’t wait too long, as I know he already got many bookings for 2013, and you wouldn’t want to miss your chance to have him part of the most important day of your life! Frank recently did a photo shoot with my 7 yr. old daughter who wants to get into modeling, after having to reschedule due to many rainouts. My daughter warmed up to Frank right away and off they went, sometimes I didn’t think she realized I was still there as she was enjoying the photo shoot. Frank definitely has a way with kid’s and even the local dog that came to be in one of my daughter’s pictures looked at the camera and smiled. Frank explained to us every process of our experience right up to ordering, and answering any questions we may have had. Frank is the Best! From the beginning of my Wedding planning process I knew how important my pictures were to me. When I met with Frank and saw his work I knew that he was the Photographer for me. He was always there when I had questions and made everything run smoothly. When we did our engagement photos and I mentioned that I wanted to include my children he thought that it was a great idea and I loved that. On our Wedding day Frank and his Wonderful team were there from start to finish and took the most Beautiful Wedding photos that I had ever seen. All of his ideas were wonderful. When we first got engaged, the things we wanted to confirm first were the venue, food, music and photographer. We knew the rest of the details would fall into place as we continued planning. We both knew we wanted a professional, who could take some formal pictures but who could also capture the candid moments and the energy of our wedding day. We were not planning a very formal or typical wedding. We were hoping that the vendors we found would understand that. Our goal was to plan a fun day for our families and close friends to reconnect, meet and celebrate together.

Having recently moved to South Florida, I relied on all the wedding websites for preliminary research (The Knot, Wedding Channel.com, etc). I spent a few weeks researching and reaching out to various vendors to get quotes and to try to build a relationship with these potential vendors. I was shocked at how some came across as incredibly impersonal. Having worked in the events industry, being able to have a good rapport and candid relationship with your vendors/clients is extremely important. I felt that about Frank as soon as we exchanged our first email, then again during our first phone call. Then my fiancé, (now my husband) drove with me to Boynton to meet Frank and everything clicked. It was great. We felt he really understood what we wanted; he was professional and knew his stuff but also had a fun personality.

And the photos prove it! We could not be happier with the quality of what we received from Frank and his team. In looking at the pictures, we can relive the happiness and energy of our friends and families. He gave us exactly what we wanted – and then some. Frank knew we were on a tight timeline before the ceremony – we had some passing rain earlier that afternoon which caused delays and anxiety for me…Frank calmed me down and I put my complete trust in him. I remember saying, “Frank – this is all you. You are the professional and I trust you implicitly.”

Another advantage of working with Frank is the website that he puts together for you. He was able to customize it for us, creating a theme that matched with our wedding save the dates and invitations and also created an online RSVP page. The online RSVP makes everything so much easier and many of our guests also thanked us for not sending bulky invitations with all the inserts to send back.

Thank you Frank for making our day so spectacular! We are getting rave reviews about the photos you’ve taken, and received so many compliments about you during the wedding reception. I’ll admit it…I’m not the type of person to run from a camera. My nickname was “Colgate” in High School because in every picture I’m full smile, chin down, all teeth. The only pictures I really can’t stand are posed photos - the Proms, Senior Pictures, Graduations. I can almost hear the voice in my head saying, “Come on, take one more with your Father” when I revisit those memories.


Thankfully, Jon’s hatred of posed photos is just one of many reasons why we ended up together. After we became engaged, we were quick to listen to the bridal magazines and figure out where we wanted to spend our wedding budget. We came up with #1- venue and #2- photographer.


I visited almost every website for photographers in South Florida. Knowing little to nothing about how to choose the best one, I was very, very happy when our family Chiropractor recommended Frank Donnino. I actually cried the first time I visited his website. (I’m not joking…and I’m not the type of girl to admit to crying!) The brides looked stunning and the pictures were full of feeling, as he made hotel ballrooms seem like palaces and the event look like an unforgettable occasion. I was sold!


We met Frank at Starbucks, which is a plus for obvious reasons, and immediately he brought out his iPad to show us some of his amazing work. Frank asked if we had any questions and while Jon popped up with some technical stuff, I instead quizzed Frank on which side of my face was my good side. He picked the right side, score another point for Frank! We also talked about what kind of photos we wanted - nothing posed, stuffy or traditional. With my little knowledge of wedding photography, Frank understood what we wanted. He assured us that we would have the regulation wedding formals but also an inside look at the true events and feelings that made our day wonderful.


After we came to the conclusion that Frank was ‘our man,’ we scheduled the engagement shoot. Since we live in Florida, we had to do the shoot on the beach. It was so much fun! We took pictures for hours and it seemed like only minutes after the shoot wrapped that the photos were in my inbox. Amazing pictures that we used for our wedding favors, our save the dates and the guestbook.


I didn’t really think of Frank until my wedding day (sorry, buddy). Not that he wasn’t an important aspect of my wedding, I just had about a million other details on my plate that come with planning a wedding. Bottom line: I didn’t need to worry about Frank! As the day crept closer, I realized that Frank was the only person I felt comfortable ceding some of my control. I completely trusted him. I knew he would be on time, be personable and take amazing pictures. And he outdid himself that day!


On the day of the wedding, Frank captured everything! He has a sixth sense on the right level of interaction - when I wanted him to get a shot, he was always within earshot, but he also captured my guests special moments as well. And thankfully, as emotions arose, as they usually do on the big day, he took pictures that showcased our beautiful day and the love shared between Jon and myself and nothing more. The proof was almost instantaneously as he set up an iPad photo slideshow during my reception. You know the pictures are good when there’s free food and yet, there’s a crowd around an iPad!


We really can’t find the words to explain how blessed we feel that Frank was a part of our Wedding Day. He will now be a part of our family forever. In part, because my entire extended family fell in love with his effervescent personality and his complete devotion to his craft. When you get married, you make thousands of decisions for details that you don’t see until the event is in full force. Make one of those decisions to hire Frank. That way, when you look back on it all, you’ll see a true depiction of the moments and feelings from that day. Which will be, the moments and feelings that will last for a lifetime!

The one person I could count on the day of my wedding, other than my family, was Frank. I knew he’d be on time, I knew he’d do a great job, and most of all I knew we were going to have fun. I never realized how important it was to trust your photographer until I met him. Of course, this didn’t just happen the day of. About 15 months before that big day I met Frank. Right away we clicked. We talked, we laughed, and we really got to know each other on the first meeting. My mom was apprehensive because she wanted someone through word of mouth but he won her over in no time.

Our engagement session was one of the best days of my life. That was the first time my husband met Frank and again his charm won him over too. He made us feel so relaxed and natural. We got amazing pictures. He even caught my husband smiling. (he NEVER smiles in pictures!) I was further reassured after that session I had made the right choice. How can you not love the bald man thats making you laugh while taking your picture?

The day of I was 15 minutes late, guess who wasn’t? I walked into the hotel room and saw him with his crew taking pictures of my dress and immediately felt relieved. Words can’t express his professionalism. Truly a man who loves his job and knows how to do it well. We started taking pictures right away and he showed me some previews, again, mind blowing. I’m so glad we got to know each other and he knew my silly side. I got some very ME pictures. Funky, funny, sassy. Frank let ME express myself the day of my wedding. Not the usually cookie cutter bride. After my dj screwed something up, Frank offer to stay later than our original contracted time. That’s how much he cares. He really does bend over backwards to make you happy and comfortable.

It’s been three weeks since my wedding and I’m still getting load of compliments on my pictures. He got the most beautiful and romantic shots as well as hilarious ones of my best friend flying over everyone to catch the bouquet. Talk about being in the right place at the right time. This is just what Frank does, from day one until now, still taking care of me. Whenever I need a photographer again I know I’ll call my favorite bald one. Thanks again for everything Frank.

It’s hard to even know where to begin when speaking of Frank and the great pleasure it was to work with him. I was that girl who had been dreaming of my perfect wedding day since I was a young girl, and I always knew I needed to find the right person to capture my special day. I am so grateful God led me to Frank. Before the wedding Frank made sure to get all the details he would need to make the day run smoothly. He was SUPER quick to get back to me when I had questions or concerns and was always able to put my mind at ease. By time the wedding day came I felt like I was being photographed by a close friend. Frank and his team were organized, professional, and FUN to work with. He made the experience of taking formal shots fun and captured amazing, humorous candid shots without anyone even realizing it. Frank even posted a few of the shots on Facebook that SAME night. Within a week I was able to access all the pictures online and received my photo album in record time. Frank is the whole package. He is knowledgeable, organized, and professional while at the same time quickly becomes a close friend! I find myself looking through the photos often and reliving that most amazing day thanks to the talents of Frank and his team!

Mr. Donnino took the best photos ever that I have seen. We didn't have the best location for are wedding photos there was construction going on around us and raining on and off. But when I saw my pictures they were beautiful. I love them! I will use him again for all other professorial photos. Thank you so much Frank for everything the pictures and therapy.:)

Planning a major event, such as a wedding, is very stressful. Relying on others to perform can lead to major disappointments. We selected a photographer without prior references. Typically, a bad idea. However, after meeting with Frank and understanding his passion for the craft, we took a gamble. Frank came on time and acted with purpose. He was very understanding to our requests but yet added his influence to the overall concepts of the occasion. He was also great organizing and assembling people to get the shots we requested and the “event” shots he felt would be great. All throughout the event he performed his work with high energy and made us feel we were getting a real value. It was apparent he truly enjoys his craft. While working with him, we were constantly reminded of his professionalism and desire to make our event special. Frank also processed our pictures in a timely manner. Once we received the photos, we were extremely pleased and some photos exceeded our expectations. It’s difficult to envision how some shots will develop but, we trusted Frank and we were rewarded. We would recommend Frank Donnino to anyone looking for a photographer and look forward to using him again in the future.

 Frank is a great man!! He was blessed with a wonderful talent witch is being a great photographer!! He loves his clients very much and I know this because he shows it every second and every minute he is with you.. He is a very funny and energetic person and when he takes pictures he is very focused at what he does.. We chose Frank as our photographer for our wedding and we don't regret it he is the best out there!!!! I have never seen anybody that takes pictures and love's there job like Frank does!! As the bride, I was so busy that I feel like I missed the entire night. Through your photography, I am able to tell the story of my wedding. I cannot believe that you were able to be as present as you were and yet seem so invisible. The images are fantastic, and really embody the scene that I envisioned. The second best decision I made on that day was having you there to capture it (the first was the marriage itself). Thanks so much, I hope to be able to work with you again!

When I first started looking for a photographer I went online and found a few which I requested quotes & sample pictures. After receiving the information I showed it to my fiancé and the first thing that we both said was no, none of these photographers really know what we are looking for its just basically everything that we DON’T want. We decided to stop looking and just buy a few disposable cameras and have people take pictures. One day I was on the knot website and saw this incredible picture of this wedding, so I clicked on it and there was Frank Donnino’s website, so I started to click thru the pictures and the more pictures I saw the better they would get. I showed my fiancé and he said fill out the contact information so he can contact us, so I did. Five minutes after filling it out I received a phone call and it was Frank and from the start I knew he would be our photographer. A few days later we met at a starbucks (by the way I love Starbucks) and we started to talk about what we wanted our pictures to look like and everything we said he would give suggestions and it was like making a great delicious pizza, whatever I said I wanted he would add a pinch of something and then it was coming all together. I must admit we (my fiancé and I ) were both a little scared because even though this all sounded like exactly what we wanted we weren’t 100% sure that the pictures were going to be exactly what we talked about. Its wedding day!!!! Yes there is Frank exactly at the time he said he was going to be at, we start with the photo sessions and let me tell you that once he took the first picture and showed it to me I knew that this was the BEST investment I could’ve made!!!  We got married on a Saturday and a few days later I get my first email of the pictures…OMG!!!!!!! I couldn’t believe what I was looking at, these couldn’t be my pictures, they had to be from a high class bridal magazine! I was sooooo happy that when I shared them with the family they didn’t realize that they were our wedding pictures until I said well what did you think about the pictures that I just sent you? They are beautiful what magazine are they from? I said no those are my wedding pictures. EVERYTHING that Frank, my fiancé and I discussed that we wanted we got, a very casual, yet elegant, super lay back, down to earth, everyday pictures that were captured like as if the camera was implanted in our minds. He captured every single detail without being that cookie cutter photographer. I know that if I ever need another photographer I will not hesitate to call him.

Frank Donnino was a great wedding photographer. The pictures turned out beautiful. He really took charge at my wedding, which was a great help to me. He rounded up family quickly and efficiently so I got all the shots we had previously discussed in our meetings.
He was 'invisible' during the ceremony and reception, capturing great action shots.

Frank Donnino Photography was by far the best decision we made for our wedding! He captured my vision as a bride and made my guests and bridal party feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Not only that, but he truly loves what he does and the quality and creativity he stirred up on our wedding day is evident in the final result of the photos!
