French Bridal was wonderful to do business with. Small shop with many options and selections. Excellent customer service. The dress was ordered too big but not their fault I lost weight.
I was told with the amount of alterations that were needed I should take the dress to Alterations by Rosa Jefferson Ave Salem Mass.
Rosa transformed a dress that was 3 sizes too large to the perfect fit. While I was having my fittings with Rosa I saw her help many desperate brides last minute. She never says no to anyone and there is no job she will not undertake even the impossible, like my dress. She said don't worry I will fix it and she did.. Thanks to French Bridal &...

I found an elegant, classic, one-of-a-kind dress here after much frustration in my search and visits to six other bridal shops. It is a beautiful well-made dress from their own collection. I love that I will wear a wedding gown that was made locally and is truly one of a kind. While I spent more than I had originally wanted to, I also believe I got an excellent price for the quality of the dress...it is 100% silk, after all!

Could not be happier with the service procided to me at French Bridals. My dress was exquisite and perfectly taylored to fit me. The dress buying experience was everything I envisioned. My bridesmaid dresses also came from this store, and the girls looked radiant. Two thumbs up!

My overall experience at French Bridals was good and their selection is very high quality. Rosetta, in alterations is also a true professional and I would recommend her to my friends 3 times over. There were a few times during the final fitting process where my calls were not returned and I had to make an extra effort to get someone on the phone for an unplanned appointment that was needed the week before the wedding. They did accomodate me and the dress was stunning. I would rccommend French Bridals if you have extra money to spend and are looking for a smaller dress shop.

French Bridals was the first and only dress shop I went to for my wedding gown. I had driven by this dress shop for years and always wanted to check it out. I made my dress appointment and had Linda, the owner assist me. She was great to work with and did not push me at all just to make a sale. She helped me stay within my budget and I found the dress of my dreams! She had treated me so well and I left there feeling extremely satisfied. They did a great job with my alterations and my gown was absolutely beautiful. I did not want to take it off on my wedding day.
I decided to take my bridesmaids there for their dresses and what a nightmare it became. I had an appointment and no one wanted to help us out. Linda was not there, so we had another woman assist. They had no selection and were no help, once we decided to leave a woman there decided to help and became so pushy. Needless to say, the bridesmaids went elsewhere. French Bridals was wonderful for me as the bride, but not so much for the bridesmaids.

I was very pleased with not only my dress from French Bridals, but also the sales staff. I never felt pressured and they were very accomodating when I had my choice narrowed down to 2 and had to keep trying them on! :) Linda, the owner, was very attentive and you could tell she knew what she was doing. The prices were a bit steeper then some discount dress stores, but you are getting a quality dress.

My dress was A-maz-ing! I was not one of those "put on the dress and cry because you just know it's the one" kind of brides. The dress I chose I had decided that it was the best one I had tried on yet, and when I said that, the salon owner said "well if you want that dress I have to order it by Friday because the lace is from Fance and is being discontinued" Naturally I thought, "well there's no pressure there!" but it didn't matter. That was my dress and I chose that and 6 months later it had been hand made in my size and was absolutely perfect. Alterations were easy and on time, and the woman who does them is a sweetheart! I love my dress and with I could wear it all the time!

After a lot of bridal shops, I came to French Bridals. The sales woman asked me a few questions about what I liked and wanted, and she pulled a dress for me that she thought I would like. She let me pick out some others to try on too. The dress she picked was perfect, flattering and within my price range. I loved it! I came back to purchase it the next day with my mother. Once I agreed to purchase, I felt a lot on pressure to buy other items that I didn't want from the store which is annoying, but not too awful. They always seemed snobby when I declined their request to buy their overpriced tacky accessories.
The alterations process was easy and fairly priced. Rosetta is a real pro!
My dress looked perfect the day of the wedding and that's all that really mattered.

French Bridals has a wonderful selection of wedding gowns and bride's maid’s dresses. Linda was able to help find the perfect dress to fit my personality and body type. It was not what I thought I was looking for, but once I tried on the dress, I knew it was exactly what I wanted! The seamstress also did expert alterations to make sure it everything flowed wonderfully and made me feel special. I highly recommend them!

Working with French Bridals was a nightmare. It was the first bridal shop I went to look at. I found a dress that I loved, but I wondered if I should get the fourth dress I tried on. I was pushed to purchase since if I purchased the first time I would get 10% off. I loved the dress, so I decided to go with it. I was given the designer's name and when I went home I searched for it online so I could look at it again and send it to friends. I could not find the dress online. I contacted French Bridals and they said indeed that was the designer but the pictures were no longer available online because it was from the previous season's line. When the dress arrived and I went in for my fitting, my mother was very disappointed with the quality of the dress. It did not seem like the same material and in the back there were many visible pin holes and fabric hanging down in the back. Finally, the label on the dress, was not the designer of the original dress I tried on. We left pretty disappointed and quite confused. My mother went back the next day asking to see the sample that I tried on and the new dress. The sample was completely stripped of the beading and under fabric. We were told that another bride liked the beading and wanted it on her dress, my mom suspected that the beading from the sample was now on my dress. We inquired with the original designer of the sample dress and they do not work with French Bridals and certainly did not make a dress for me. I called owner of French Bridal and she finally admitted that the original sample dress that I tried on was discontinued so they added it to their own line French Expressions (or something like that). French Bridals is very sketchy. They are not up front about their dresses, the designers, and where the dresses are made. I would never recommend French Bridals for any occasion.

The ladies at French Bridal's were phenomenal. I wasn't sure what I was looking for in a dress as I bought it far in advance and they selected the perfect dress! I was also an out of state bride and they were extremely accommodating in appointment times and services. They gave me a discount for purchasing all accessories there and my wedding pictures prove they are fantastic! The seamstress was flawless and she listened to my needs and could even read my face when I was too nervous to speak up because I didn't want to be too picky. They helped me with shoes, veil, and so on. Dress shopping can be a very overwhelming experience but not here! I knew everything would be great and I trusted them completely!

I really hated the service here and if i didn't find the perfect dress here I wouldn't of shopped here. The lady was extremely rude and wasn't happy that I wasn't spending more money. They weren't happy when I went to try on my dress for the first fitting. The lady wasn't happy that I was wanting to stand up and look in the mirror. The dress was beautiful!

This was the fourth bridal shop that my friends and I visited in search of a dress; and unfortunately the experience was not a good one for a number of reasons. Unlike the other stores who listened to my desires about the style of dress and veil that I wanted, the ladies here were more concerned with choosing what they liked. I acquiesced and tried on the dresses...I figured "You never know, maybe one of them will be it." This was not the most disturbing aspect of the visit, however...for some reason, the clerk decided to stay in the dressing room while I undressed. This lack of privacy was quite disconcerting. No other shop had done this and I'm not sure why French Bridals would do such a thing. Strange. After trying on 5 dresses, I found a dress that was okay; however, when I asked who the designer was the clerk said she didn't know (you see the label had been cut from the dress). This was yet another red flag for me that customer service and professionalism were lacking at this shop and we called it quits after that.

The ladies at French Bridals were somewhat rude and I wouldn't reccommend buying a dress there. The tailor, Roseanna, did a great job that's the only good thing I can say about the experience. When my dress came in they wouldn't even let me come SEE it to make sure it was the right color, size, or even the right dress! I wasn't allowed to see it until my first fitting a couple of months before the wedding. I brought them a lot of business, buying my bridesmaids dresses and mother-in-law dress there and they couldn't be more rude.

I absolutely loved my dress. It was extremely unique. The staff was extremely knowlegdable and helpful.

i ordered my dress, bridesmaid dresses & my mother's dress from here. They were so detail oriented. Such a stress relief.

This is the only bridal shop I went to! They were perfect. They know what type of dress looks the best on which body, which is just what anyone needs. I called and made an appointment. The fourth dress I tried on was the one! I just knew it! They have bras, pedicoats, shoes, jewelry, veils, etc. The seamstress there is very good. The only issue I had was that my bustle fell apart before the dancing started...thank god for saftey pins! They were always nice and responded to my messages. Also, when my mother was visiting from California, they were able to fit us in so that she could see the dress.

Love, love, love the dress...a bit pricey though...now that they're out of the farms, perhaps they'll be more accessible to more people. Excellent attention while at the store. Should have explained the bustle better though.
