Amazing! I'd post photos if I could. The flowers were just what I asked for. Lyn is such a gentleman to work with and he created the most beautiful flowers for the wedding. Words can't describe how pleased we were with his artistry. Just breathtaking.

The ceremony flowers were gorgeous. My bouquet was beyond spectacular. And the flowers at the reception were better than the ones in the fairy tale I had played out in my head… When I walked into the ballroom the only thing I could do is smile and skip. Literally skip. It's a level of happy every bride deserves to feel.

My advice: Spend they money on a planner (La Fete is the very, very best), photography (Walters+Walters without question) and florals (you're in the right place here obviously).

I will never be able to thank Lyn and Michael and their fabulous team enough. Literally and honestly they are true artists and professionals and we Raleigh brides are lucky to have them. Without Fresh Affairs my wedding would have been short of perfect, I know it. So thank you guys for everything!!

Working with Lyn at Fresh Affairs helped create my dream wedding. He made sure all the small details I had asked for were taken care of. I got so many compliments on the flowers. I felt like he really cared about my wedding and making it special for me.

He created a romantic setting for the ceremony by hanging flowers and a memorial candle from the tree in the courtyard, and stunning centerpieces for the reception with multiple levels of flowers and candle light. Lyn absolutely went above and beyond for my wedding and I would recommend him again and again.

I cannot express how wonderful Linda and Lyn were throughout the entire wedding planning process. We met with Lyn several times and communicated often through email about our wedding flowers. At every point of contact, I was very impressed by their professionalism and dedication to make our event wonderful. I had many ideas and inspirations for our wedding flowers and they were great at listening to my ideas and finding ways to include these in the designs.

On the day of the wedding, I was blown away with how amazing everything looked. The flowers were beautiful and better than I had ever imagined. The altar arrangement was large and perfect in the space. The pew bows were awesome, the best I have ever seen at a wedding! The wedding party's flowers were beautiful and so elegant. The reception centerpieces were really amazing and looked wonderful in our reception hall.

Fresh Affairs really went above and beyond our expectations. We were confident that Lyn would make everything look great and he did just that, it was so perfect. I cannot recommend them enough!! No matter your budget, you MUST use Fresh Affairs; they will figure out the best flowers and designs to use to create your vision.

I was so happy with Fresh Affairs-- the flowers were beautiful and fit my vision completely. We worked together from out of town, and planned everything through emails, one phone call, and one meeting. Lyn made us so comfortable, and we knew we could trust him and his team to create beautiful arrangements for us. We also brought out own containers, and they gladly used them.

All I knew before my wedding was that I wanted it to be pretty. I'm not a very flowery girl and I probably could not tell you the difference between a rose and a daisy. I went into my first meeting with Lyn with a few photos of things I kind of liked, and a few pictures of things I really didn't like. I had NO idea what to expect at the wedding, but I kept hearing that Lyn was a creative genius, so I was excited. The day of, when I walked into the reception venue that morning, hours before the wedding, I didn't realize my centerpieces would already be in place. I walked in a saw the tables and the first thing that crossed my mind was "wow, whoever was in here last night had fabulous centerpieces". And then, it dawned on me that these were MINE! I was so excited. Lyn created exactly what I wanted and I didn't even know what I wanted!! It was amazing. He was so much fun to work with, and I can see where it may be hard to work with him if you have very specific ideas of what you want, but if you give Lyn free reign, you will NOT be disappointed!

Fresh Affairs did a fantastic job with our wedding. Lyn even worked with some materials I had bought, and was willing to provide a quote within our budget. Even though we didn't have a big budget, he did wonderful things with what we had and we couldn't have been happier!

Lyn and Linda are amazing to work with! I told Lyn what my ideal wedding would look like and showed him just a few pictures of flowers that I liked and he translated that into my dream wedding. He turned the ballroom into a dream wedding landscape. Absolutely amazing centerpieces. The flowers for the wedding ceremony perfectly complemented the beautiful landscape, and my bouquet was STUNNING. Exactly what I hoped for. They even worked with my groom to surprise me with flowers at my parents house while I was getting ready the morning of the wedding.

Lyn is the best! My flowers were amazing and very original! My bouquet lasted through the next day (brunch) even though I forgot to put them in water. The staff is extremely helpful and even helped me pick out what linens would look best with my flowers.

Wonderful flowers! Lyn Graves is a genius. My husband didn't really like him too much because he has a strong personality, but in the end he was like, wow, Lyn really knew what he was doing. He helped me so much with the linens, he had great suggestions for my cake and dance floor, and basically helped me all along the way. Fresh Affairs is cutting edge and our decor was classic yet modern (we had beautiful flowers on the large table and green apples in a vase on the smaller tables). We got so many compliments!

I found a photo on line of the boquet that I wanted. I gave it to them and they had no problem making it and it looked stunning. They also created the boutonnieres to match and they were perfect. They are expensive but soo worth it!

Fresh affairs was great to work with. Lynn is so passionate about what he does and it all comes out in his work. He completely understood the look and the feel of what we wanted for the ceremony and reception. After having our final meeting with him, I knew I wouldn't have to worry about anything... and I was right! Everything was beautiful, just like I pictured it. Thanks Fresh Affairs.

Lyn and his staff achieved exactly what I wanted for my flowers and decor. The ballroom at Brier Creek looked AMAZING!! Everyone kept complementing me on how LOVELY everything looked. I was so impressed! We went over budget, but my husband and I were delighted with the results.

Lyn was fabulous. You pay for the eye, and he's got it. He is very expensive so that is something to consider, but we got so many compliments on our flowers I feel he was worth it.

Fresh Affairs was a joy to work with! All i told them was the color scheme & no roses, and they came up with the most beautiful bouquets & aisle decorations. They are a little pricey, but you get a lot for your money. Love them!

The flowers were a big hit at the wedding. We chose to go inexpensive with flowers and Lyn used various vases filled with one or two flowers. Overall a great vender.

I was blown away by my flowers. I had a stingy budget for flowers, only wanted bouquets, etc and didn't want to spend much for something so temporary. Unfortunately, I was in love with expensive flowers. I told Lyn the flowers I wanted, I told him I wanted simple elegance and that I only wanted to spend around $300. He came back with a total estimate for 20 pieces of a little over $500, considering all my other estimates from "budget friendly" florists were 1200-1400$ I was thrilled.

I figured I would have to settle for small bouquets of just a few orchids and calla lillies, but he created stunning, elegant bouquets that were so unique and the perfect size! I am so glad I took the risk to interview Fresh Affairs. I could tell that Lyn understood what I wanted, and it showed!

First off, I highly recommend Lyn and his company. Second, Lyn is a card and an absolute blast! As many have said, don't go to him if you have awfully strong feelings or have a particular "look" you must have. BUT, if you have a general idea of what you want, pictures and information on what you already have for the wedding, it's like having your own personal stylist for the entire wedding. He helped me with table linens, table placement, etc. His flowers were gorgeous and the set-up was wonderful.

Lyn with Fresh Affairs is a creative genius. He took my very limited ideas for wedding and reception flowers, and created the perfect arrangements (which I could have never imagined myself!). Our bouquets and arrangements were unique and classic and created the absolute perfect tone for our wedding day. Service was exceptional and everything showed up on time and ready to go. The prices are a bit on the higher side but worth every penny. They also worked around our budget as much as possible.

We used Fresh Affairs for a wedding, and if you want soft, rounded, romantic flowers, this is not your florist. We were very specific about the wedding flowers and the corsages, all of which was ignored, and their vision showed up instead. It was a little upsetting.

However, Fresh Affairs totally redeemed themselves when we got to the reception. Flowers everywhere, and quite stunning. The arrangements were absolutely gorgeous on the tables, and even the food tables were decorated. So what's a few hideous corsages and a bizarre bride bouqet when the reception was so great?

Working with Fresh Affairs was easy as they will spend time with you on the phone, and are prompt to answer e-mails. The quality of the flowers is outstanding, and the freshness was also outstanding. Everything was delivered and put in place on time, and care was taken that everything arrived intact.

So go with a general theme, but don't try to get your way, and know that the quality will be there.

Lyn Graves was our florist. He is an artist, to say the least! We had a consultation and from that he provided estimated costs with general indications of what we would be provided … no specifics, though. This is probably not a good vendor for the bride who must control all the details at every step of the way. Lyn takes your inputs as a stepping off point. We had specified wanting fall fruit incorporated into our design – such as artichokes, pomegranates, and figs and wanted tiger lilies (bride’s favorite flower) but no Gerber daisies. The contract specified that we would get fall fruit like pomegranates, and figs and flowers like tiger lilies. And of course we understood that flowers and fruit would depend on what looked good at the time of the wedding. We got green apples but no artichokes, pomegranates or figs (and the pomegranates at Harris Teeter in Raleigh looked amazingly good!); we got tiger lilies and we got Gerbers in the attendants bouquets only (since the bride did not like them but wasn’t hard core enough to ban them). That was disappointing BUT the end effect of the arrangements was magnificent. Both the ceremony site flowers (including the wreaths on the door, attendants’ flowers, brides flowers, mothers roses) were beautiful and the reception site looked like a magazine cover. Beautiful and sophisticated, even though not exactly what the bride had envisioned.

Was great before the day of, but showed up with the wrong flowers, delivered mine to another wedding, and had to go and switch them out, but came back with the right ones before the ceremony.

While Lyn was so friendly and responsive and the flowers were very fresh and beautiful, I was surprised on my wedding day with a few things. I think this might have been due to the fact that Lyn was not the person setting up everything on my wedding day and it was instead someone who I never met prior to that day.

Issues we encountered: (1) My bouquet had a terrible trinket holding these long green leaves together over the bouquet, which did not work and in most of my ceremony pictures there are two long green leaves sticking out of the flowers like huge antennas. I never indicated I wanted this, and the bouquet in general was nothing like I expected, despite the fact that I met Lyn at their studio and there was ample time to construct some sort of sample but the time was spent mostly looking at all of their photo albums. (2) We discussed sprinkling rose petals over the entire aisle since we didn't have a flower girl. However, as I watched the flowers being set up from a window, they were placing the petals in off heart/oval shapes down the aisle. My mom had to run out and get them to change it.. but then they did it wrong again and simply lined the aisle on either side with them. She had to run out again and get it fixed.. good thing she was watching and in good shape to run! (3) I asked for bare branches in vases at the reception similar to his displays in the studio. Instead, mini trees were on the outermost tables in the reception and they just looked silly. (4) Lastly, there were medium sized aluminum balls covered in aluminum foil on some of the tables. Some of them weren't even totally covered with the aluminum so you could see the white styrofoam. This really just looked trashy and the balls ended up getting tossed around by drunk guests.

I did love my bridesmaid bouquets and the flowers for the groom, groomsmen, and our parents. I also loved the set up at our table in the reception and the extensive use of candles.

Overall, if you are going to go with Fresh Affairs, be sure to specifically clarify everything and try to see samples beforehand so you don't get a not-so-nice surprise on your...

Working with Fresh Affairs prior to the wedding was great. I told them my vision, my likes/dislikes and they ran with it. The reception flowers were spectacular. I did have a lot of trouble with other flowers though. My bouquet was falling apart even before I made it to the church. My dad did not have the correct flowers, nor did my groom. In fact, they wound up using the corsage meant for my godmother for the groom! It is my understanding that they are doing numerous (20+) weddings in one weekend, so if you are looking for a smaller florist, more personalized and attentive to details such as the bridal bouquet and corsages, then this is not the florist for you.

There are better vendors out there. I asked for no roses and he used roses. I wanted a light pink bouquet and there were off white & purple flowers in my bouquet. With my white dress...that looked horrible! My bouquet didn't even go with any of the other flowers...made pictures look bad. Have EVERY SINGLE detail in the contract so when Lyn doesn't pay attention to your requests you can tell the c-card company not to pay him. Don't waste your time with Fresh Affairs!

I had the opportunity to both photograph and paint beautiful floral designs and arrangements of the Fresh Affairs! As an artist I find Fresh Affairs' work to be simply stunning! And the staff is fantastic too...
