Froggy's Catering

I recently had Froggy's cater my wedding in Highland Park at the historic Highland Park Community House. From initial meeting to final presentation, everything was remarkably professional and beautifully done. Catering manager Thierry Mace took care of everything and handled the entire event with such ease and style. I only received the highest of compliments on my choice of vendor and food.

For a Chicago wedding, the value was enormous. We had two delicious entrees with side dishes and a gorgeous mousse wedding cake, not to mention rental of linens and serving ware. I was so happy that my guests had an amazing dinner and such impeccable service. I would absolutely, without any doubt, recommend Froggy's unbelievable French cuisine to any Chicago area bride.

Froggy's catered our wedding two weeks ago, and did an excellent job. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and Thierry was great to work with. He made sure everything went smoothly, helped us coordinate with a liquor supplier, and handled the linens and rentals. The cost was also much more reasonable than other caterers, with no decrease in quality that I could ascertain. I very much recommend going to Froggy's for a tasting, which is a very accurate representation of what you will get at the wedding. Overall, I highly recommend choosing Froggy's as your caterer.

Froggy's catered our daughter's wedding two weekends ago. The food was delicious! The entrees were served hot and the food was beautifully displayed. The vegetarian option was also very good. We were able to sample a variety of appetizers, salads, and entrees prior to the selection of the final menu. The quality, value, and presentation of the dinner rivaled any downtown restaurant or hotel. Thierry took time to meet with us at the venue to discuss timing and room configuration. A children's entree was also provided which received rave reviews, as well.

Froggy's did an amazing job catering our wedding in June 2010. We met with Terry at the restaurant (Thierry was out of town) and had a wonderful sampling of appetizer, salad, main course, and cake options. We were sure that this would be the right caterer, particularly given their cost per person compared to other businesses in the area, and fortunately we were right! This company met and exceeded all of our expectations. The servers and bartenders were cordial and responsive. They did their job so well I barely knew they were there-food and drinks just showed up whenever we were ready for the next course! The coordination by this caterer was impeccable, which really helped to move the reception along, and the food (including the cake) was delicious. We got many, many compliments on the meals (including gluten-free, whcih two relatives required) and cake. Froggy's offered to provide a new small cake on our one year anniversary since fresh is better than frozen for a year-we will definitely take them up on this offer and enjoy a dinner in the restaurant to relive the memories of a wonderful evening and party!

Froggys did an excellent job of catering my wedding a few weeks ago. They were able to incorporate some special ingredients (Morel mushrooms and Montana huckleberries) into my menu very nicely. The food was wonderful. The only thig to note was that I had selected dark chocolate frosting for my cake a month or two before the wedding (when we were given it at the tasting and preferred it to a white frosting), but when it was served it had white chocolate frosting. I should have checked up on it...however everyone loved the food and the cake and the wait staff was fantastic and I was very pleased with the overall result and price. Terry the caterer and Thierry the chef did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

We still get raving reviews from our guests about the food and the cake. We felt that the over all value of Froggy's was above and beyond expectation. They are definitely set in their way of doing things, but they have been successfully doing it for over 20 years. We are planning on going to the restaurant for our first anniversary.

Froggy's catered my daughter's wedding. They did a fantastic job--a number of guests remarked that it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. Not only was it delicious but it was well presented and all of the staff was courteous and professional.

One of the biggest compliments at our wedding was on the food. We were also impressed by the wonderful service. Froggy's staff took care of all the little things I was worried about. They did an amazing job.
