Gala Events Facility

This is a great venue to have a wedding on a budget! They were very flexible and professional, however there were some details that were missed. Overall, the wedding turned out pretty good!

This is a beautiful venue and the people who work there will bend over backwards to give you suggestions on how to make your wedding the best. We started working with one girl who was extremely friendly, responsive, and always gave us great suggestions on who to contact. The venue has beautiful linens and they will allow you to use some of their decorations for your event. The venue will allow you to have a reception past normal wedding hours as long as you pay for extra time (I was told a max of 4 AM). They also allow you to bring and serve your own alcoholic beverages which truly allows you to save money. It rained on our wedding day so we were unable to have the wedding outside, and instead had to have our ceremony inside. I do not think Gala is used to having weddings inside, but they made it comfortable and beautiful to the best of their ability. The only negative thing I can say about the facility is that they do not have a fully equipped kitchen for caterers. We chose to have an outside caterer but I hear their preferred caterer is fabulous. I think you would be happy having your wedding at Gala. We were thoroughly pleased.

Background: We are a military couple, who planned the wedding from Doha/Korea/Ialy. Not only were we out of the country, we were also moving from country to country, and neither of us are from Georgia. I (bride) came to the US on leave, during the first week (June) I went to pick my kids up from Mississippi and drove to Marietta to look at 5 venues.

Experience: From the moment I walked into Gala, I was impressed. The venue was set up for an upcoming wedding, so I was able to look at the set up. Vickie (the owner) was there to greet me, and even though I was working with Beeta through emails, we didn't miss a beat. They are VERY professional and flexible. Being that we aree not from the area and we had no family in the area, we worked through emails for the most part (beause of the time difference). From the initial email to the moment we departed on our wedding night, everything was great. For the price, we were sure we was missing out on something but we didn't. They took care of almost EVERYTHING, the only thing I had to worry about was the photoghapher and flowers. All of my guests loved my wedding and had a blast. My husband and I had a blast! Beeta is amazing. I can't stress enough on how much I loved working with her and how truly blessed we were to find Gala.

Beeta, was more than a delight to work with, she and the staff at Gala made us feel like they are truly invested in make our wedding a beautiful and as stress free experience as possible. Our wedding was just what we hoped it would be, and more, because of the little details and organization that Beeta and Gala staff provided us. Our family and friends absolutely loved our wedding. The food, venue, décor, and entertainment were just perfect down to the smallest detail! Our wedding coordinator, Beeta was an absolute gem to work with. She never missed a beat, and is very detailed oriented. The day-of-the-event coordinator, Kathi was the exact same! Perfect, perfect, perfect! Kathi ensured our event ran on time and made sure the Bride and Groom had absolutely nothing to worry about! These two ladies are angles to the event industry! I highly recommend Gala to anyone having a special event.

We had our wedding ceremony at Gala event facility on June 16, 2012. I can't express how happy I am with how well everything turned out. Our wedding coordinator was Beeta, and she is one of the nicest people I have every dealt with. She was so concerned and helpful with every single detail of our wedding. I was so glad to find a venue like Gala. I wanted to be able to bring in my own caterer, DJ, flowers, etc. and Gala was one of the only places I found that would allow you to do that. They also have people they use if you do not want that option. Beeta was there every step of the way when coordinating my wedding. The day of my wedding went very smooth with all the help they had there. Thanks so much Gala for making my special day even more wonderful.

This venue is beautiful. Working with Beeta was amazing, she is very genuine and understanding. She made sure the day was all about my husband and me! We have a very big family and she was able to make changes up until the very last minute. We are even thinking of renewing our vows here for our 5 year anniversary!

The Gala was so great with us! We could not have asked for anything better. We had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. We worked mainly with Beeta and she is awesome! She is super sweet, helpful, and caring. She was always making sure there was nothing more she could do all the way through and even after our wedding. The venue is a great price and super flexible. We were able to use our own DJ, photographer, caterer, and flowers. We used their suggested vendors for our bartenders and cakes and they were awesome as well. The venue is also very beautiful - it has a romantic feel and looks great with all sorts of color schemes. We would definitely reccomend The Gala without a question. We loved everything about it!

My experience with Gala Events Facility was amazing! The venue is gorgeous, ecspecially the linens. They diffinately stand out among others ones at other facilities. But the main attraction to Gala is the staff. The event coordinator is outstanding, she makes the whole event and up the event a smooth seamless experience. She was so accomadating and easy to deal with, even though we were extremely high maintenance. I would recommend this venue to my friends and family.

I could not be more happier with my selection for our ceremony and reception! The venue is beautiful and was able to accommodate my guests comfortably. Flexibility was not an issue as they were able to meet my needs in every aspect. I would certainly recommend this facility to create a beautiful memory of such a special occassion!

My wedding was 10/16/11 and it was AMAZING!! Beeta was wonderful throughout the whole process. I found the Gala on wedding wire.com and I'm so happy I did. Beeta is the BEST hands down. She made everything run so smooth. The servers were great everyone involved was wonderful. THE GALA IS THE PLACE TO HAVE YOUR WEDDING. LOOK NO FURTHER ;)

I couldn't have asked for a better place to have my ceremony. Everything was beautiful and it was a success.

My husband and I were on a budget and we thought the Gala had the best bang for our buck. We looked at many places that just didnt offer the samethings and the same respect to us as the Gala did! Looking back now on our wedding day we still talk about how perfect the Gala was for our special day. It was the perfect size and comfortable to us and to all of our guest. I cannot express how awesome The Gala is! It was *the perfect* choice for our wedding and the staff made sure that the wedding was exactly as we wanted. Everything went smoothly and came together as we envisioned it and the staff was professional and nice. Vicki helped us every step of the way to make sure that our wedding was exactly as we pictured it and was supportive, an awesome guide and very patient. Our day of wedding coordinator was Beeta and she was absolutely amazing--she made sure that the night went smoothly and according to plan. We could not have pulled off such an amazing wedding without all of the staff at The Gala.

Gala was the perfect venue for our wedding reception! The owner was wonderful to do business with- SUPER helpful, friendly, professional and understanding. She even saved the day when we were having a cake disaster! Pick Gala for your reception and you will NOT be disappointed.

Gala Events Facility is the best! They are very professional and establish quality service and develop relationships. I felt like I've known them all my life! The prices are reasonable, and they took really good care of all of my needs! I love this venue and will be using it for my future events

Our daughter had her wedding October 9, 2010 at the Gala Events Facility and it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The owner carefully reviewed all costs and services so that we were clear all along the way what would and would not be included, as well as ways to add services or reduce costs, depending on our needs. This truly helped keep us in budget throughout the planning process and achieve the wedding we desired. We were allowed to decorate the venue the day before and the werdding coordinator was very helpful during the rehearsal.

The day of the wedding, the coordinator calmed the nervous wedding party and made sure everyone was where they needed to be, when they needed to be there so that the ceremony went smoothly. Held in the outdoor gazebo area, our guests seemed to appreciate and enjoy the closeness to and sounds of nature while comfortably seated. Once inside, the party really started with appetizers, drinks and dancing on the newly laid dance floor. Over and over again, I heard guests commenting on the beauty of the venue, the attentiveness of the staff and the excellent meal served to us by the venue's caterer.

I highly recommend this venue for others considering it for a wedding. We had just enough room for barely over 150 guests (using mostly tables of 8). It was tight with the dance floor, but the side patio area (which we had lit with candles) and the back ceremony/gazebo area worked well as overflow areas. The two bartenders and two valets worked their magic throughout the night and there was only a tiny backup with retrieving cars at the very end.

I also believe the venue may be rented for other types of parties or for corporate events, as well. The owner, wedding coordinator, caterer and all other staff definitley went out of their way to give us a unique, special experience. It was truly the best wedding I have ever attended - even if it was my own daughter's!!!

VICKY IS THE MOST LOVING AND CARING PERSON TO WORK WITH. SHE REALLY HELPED MY HUSBAND AND I TO HAVE THE MOST MEMORABLE DAY EVER !!!!!!.

Vicki was so helpful and willing to work with us any way she could and was very professional. She did a fabulous job. The DJ was great and kept the whole crowd moving and we had such a fun time. The catering was the one thing that I wasn't 100% happy with. The food was good but we didn't get to pick exactly what we wanted unless we paid more and I don't think it would have been more for the chef to prepare. But the food was good although I didn't get a chance to eat while I was at the reception. Overall I was happy with the venue and have already recommended it to others.

Gala Event Facility was perfect for our wedding! Vicki worked with us every step of the way and made sure that everything was perfect on the big day. The decor, food, and service were all fabulous. I would recommend Gala for any event!

We are the preferred caterer at Gala Event Facility. Beeta is wonderful to work with and is very professional and organized. The facility is clean and well kept and offers a wonderful setting for an outdoor wedding.
