Gala Manor

I had booked this venue in June 2008 for my reception/banquet in October 2008. We went in to drop down more $ in addition to the deposit we paid in September with Mr. Chan. That was when he told us that they had closed down that section of the restaurant in August and we had no place else to hold our banquet. They were willing to give us back the deposit, but nothing more in compensation. We were so furious that they did not tell us first thing when we made our reservations and put down our initial deposit! They told us that they were unaware of our banquet in October when they closed it! We demanded compensation and let's just say that they are the most unprofessional, unsincere and impossible caterers/venue hosts. Do not even think about hosting your banquet here unless there is no other choice.
