I used Gala to rent lighted ficus trees for my wedding reception and worked with Noah. While there was some difficulty getting in touch with him in the beginning (we initiated the contract through my venue, so working through the middle-man was inefficient), once we connected, he was great. When I realized that I had not ordered enough trees after the contract was in process, Noah was very flexible in the change and there was no confusion. The trees were exactly as promised and looked great in the reception room. I was very pleased overall.
This company is horrible. Beware when meeting with them you probably won’t have the wedding planner the day of your wedding. When you meet with them they talk a whole lot of good stuff, but once that money is paid...Good Luck. You will be lucky if you have the planner show up the day of, the might send someone that just started with the company and has no clue about your wedding. I had several people (guests and family members) that only met and dealt with the planners on the day of the wedding and couldn’t stand them. Beware they will charge you for everything that they do. The will give you a list of things that they do included in the price but they DONT. They will charge you for EVERYTHING even extra shipping. If you order anything from them they will charge you 2 shipping charges, one to send to them and then to send to you. They won’t allow items be shipped directly to you. Trust me I am an easy going person and I tell you the planners from Gala were the WORST people to work with.
Gala provided my wedding with all of it's linens. They were amazing! Donna worked with me every step of the way. My color was a celadon and she found the perfect color to match everything. The material was beautiful and held up really well! They did a fabulous job at making my wedding so memorable!
I used Gala Events for wedding corridination, decor, and flowers. My coordinator was Rosie Goulette. Let me first say, she is the BEST! Everything I dreamed of, she made happen. From my amazing flowers, table clothes - silk, lighting, tables, just everything. I would use Rosie for any and every event. Her spirit is amazing. She can get more excited than you sometimes. When I was have a bad day, I just gave Rosie a call and I would feel great. She tells exactly how she feels about things, her ideas and what she can do to make that day extra special. Working with Rosie and Gala, was a wonderful and relaxing experience because it was a one stop shop. I was able to order my flowers from there, my tables, chairs, lighting, videographer, lounge, bar, vases, candleholders, chargers, votives. You name it, Gala has it, and if they don't have it, they can BUILD IT FOR YOU!
Laura Miller from Gala Inc was my event planner and day of coordinator. Laura's help was crucial in the success of my wedding. She had lots of fun ideas for the decoration and came up with a great theme to fit my style, the location & my budget. When the wedding day came she made the entire day stress free for me. She helped set-up the reception space and ensured that all the decorations were as we planned and beautiful. She kept everyone on schedule and the day turned out better than me and my husband ever expected.
Kristie Pichler was our wedding planner. She was absolutely fantastic. She took on all of the little duties that I would have SURELY forgotten on the big day... and then some!! I would absolutely recommend her services to anyone. She was just fantastic.
They are amazing. I worked with Kristie, creating the after-party for my wedding. The space was somewhat scary when I first saw it, but she really turned it around. She's always there when you need her and goes above and beyond the call of duty. Highly reccomended!
There are not enough words to explain how good Gala Events Inc are. They way the reception hall looked was out of this world. I am overall happy and satisfied with their work. I have used them a few times for different functions, personally, and at my church. So, when it was time for my wedding reception there was nothing to think about. They are detailed-oriented and I am happy with the professionalism that was given to me and my family or friends. I am truly grateful and I would recommend them to anyone at any given time. Their price is reasonable and worth the money. They also offer more than just decorating. They could have done my whole wedding if my mother-in-law was not so persistent.
