Mark & Crystal do an EXCELLENT job!! They are always responsive, very professional and are oh, so willing to help a bride in ANY way possible. They are truly the BEST photography service in all of Hampton Roads. I would refer them to EVERY bride if I could. All brides need to feel secure with an experienced photographer. Mark Gamboa truly embodies professionalism and expertise. My husband and I will continue to use their services once we have start our family in a few years. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Loved them both! They did a fantastic job providing photo-journalistic style photography. I really loved the fact that we were able to purchase a CD of high resolution images and have our own photos printed. It has saved us a ton of money.

Wow! Where do I begin? My husband and I decided that I would undertake the task of finding a photographer for our wedding and, when I met Mark and Crystal, I knew I would definitely hire them! They are very professional, their work is phenomenal, and I felt extremely comfortable around them.

Every moment spent with them was a blast, and the quality of their work continued to surpass my expectations. When our engagement shoot had to be moved from its original beach location due to overcrowding, they found a new location within the hour, and our portraits turned out better than I would have imagined!

It was an absolute pleasure having them at our wedding. They photographed every single detail, and I had to keep myself from crying when I viewed the photos for the first time. About Gamboa Photos

Gamboa Photos is comprised of photographers Mark and Crystal. We specialize in photojournalistic wedding photography meaning we will photograph your wedding day as it is -- minimal posing and focused on the emotions of you and your guests.

We are based in the Hampton Roads area but are available for travel. No travel fee for locations within 30 miles of Virginia Beach, VA.

Our rates are suited for every budget. Every wedding is unique, so please contact us to schedule a free wedding consultation so we may discuss your wedding photography needs further.

What do your packages include?

Do you have liability insurance?

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?

Yes, we offer many image enhancements such as selective coloring, black and white conversions, sepia tone conversions, as well as blemish removal and skin smoothing.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

Yes, we have experience in shooting in outdoor locations such as the Founders Inn and Mariner's Museum. We have also photographed low-light church ceremonies and receptions.

Is your media preference film or digital?

We photograph in digital media.

How many photographers do you work with?

We typically photograph weddings with two photographers with Mark being the main photographer however we may have one or two assistants join us.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Yes.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

We limit our bookings to one event per weekend.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

Yes.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

We bring four digital camera bodies with various lenses and flashes. We also bring a bag of extra batteries and other accessories.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Yes, we both have extra camera bodies as well as backup accessories and lenses.

Do you charge hourly or full day?

We have 5 hour and 8 hour packages but also offer our services hourly for smaller events.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

Yes, we do not book multiple events on your wedding day so we are available for additional hours if you require us for longer than the contracted time. Please contact us for rates.

Do you charge for travel?

Yes we charge a travel fee for locations 30 miles from area code 23456. Please contact us for a custom quote

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

We take thousands of photos on your wedding day and tediously filter through them before creating proofs. This may take about a month or more.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

We offer digital proofs.

How long can the client keep the proofs?

The digital proofs will be available for online viewing for at least 90 days.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

Yes, Gamboa Photos, LLC retains all copyrights for the images however we create a print/usage release for clients to create prints up to 8x12.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Yes.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

Yes, we provide a CD of the digital images to the client.

Will images be available for viewing online?

Yes all images will be available online for proofing and print purchases.

What kind of albums do you offer?

We offer KISS Flush Mount Albums.

When will the client get the final album?

The client must first choose which photos they would like included in the album. Once the client chooses the images we begin our post-processing and album designing. Once the album design has been approved then we will send the design to the lab. The turnaround time will vary.
