This was my favorite shop I visited while dress shopping! Unfortunately I did not buy my dress here - "the" dress was from a designer not carried in the shop and I actually had to go out of state to make the purchase. However, we loved this shop and Mia! She had a great selection and the shop is so cute and comfortable. Mia is very knowledgeable, helpful, and laid back. There was no pressure. Shopping was just a fun experience! I would recommend Garnish to anyone.

When I walked into Garnish I was immediately impressed by the decor and selection of dresses. Then I met the owner, Mia, and she was the icing on the cake! She made me feel very comfortable and it was fun to try on dresses in the no-pressure environment. I'm extremely picky when it comes to fabric and everything she sells is beautiful. They look like the $10,000+ dresses you see on wedding shows but you can actually afford the ones she carries! I would recommend that you visit this shop before you buy your dress - I'd actually make it your first stop!

My experience wedding dress and bridesmaid dress shopping at Garnish was such a comfortable, happy and genuine experience! From the start, Mia made me feel welcome and excited about shopping even though I had come by myself because my mother lives in another state. Her shop is adorable, light, and bright and pretty. Very large fitting rooms with huge mirror and natural lighting when trying on the dresses. She has many beautiful styles of dresses in her shop from great designers like Tara Keely and Hayley Paige at affordable price points. I did not feel pressured to buy that day or to be guilt tripped at all by her and she lets you take pics of the dresses you like which apparently is a big no no at other salons. There are so many good things to say about Garnish, however the biggest thing is how nice and genuine Mia is. She is so excited to work with her brides, gives her honest opinion and truly cares about helping you look your best on your big day (and also has great advice about all the details too!) Garnish is a must do stop for Baltimore brides!!

Mia is so fantastic to work with, she is very professional but has that personality that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. She is very straightforward and does not try to con you into purchasing something you don't want or over-paying like most other bridal boutiques. After 3 months of searching I found my dress at Garnish and I am so so glad I went!

Mia at Garnish Boutique is absolutely amazing! She helped me to find a wedding dress that literally swept me off of my feet! She is thoughtful, inspiring, down to earth and amazing to work with! I couldn't have imagined a better experience!

Garnish boutique was recommended to me by my venue, the belvedere. It was the first and only place I visited to find my wedding dress. I fell in love with this adorable little boutique immediately, not only because of the laid back, personal environment, but mostly because Mia is amazing! She makes you feel comfortable right away and gives great feedback...she is not pushy at all. Plus she's got a great sense of style and a contagiously positive attitude AND everything is so reasonably priced! I brought my best friend here when she got engaged three months later and she fell in love, too. Now we have a hundred excuses to go back and visit between her fitting and mine. I would recommend this place to any bride looking for a laid back experience, reasonable prices, reliable service, good company, and a damn cute wedding dress. You can't go wrong with Mia!

I bought my dress in March of 2012 for my January 2013 wedding and I could not have asked for a better experience! I had been dress shopping for a few weeks before I came across Garnish. As soon as I walked in I felt comfortable. The shop is small but beautiful, there is room for only one or two brides at a time and it made me feel special that I was the only person in the room trying on dresses. I picked out a couple dresses to try on but I knew right away this is where I was going to buy my dress. The prices are very reasonable and Mia even told us to come back in two weeks because the designer was having a trunk show that would give us a discount and free alteration (which at 5 feet tall the hem to hallow is essential). When the dress came in it was perfect, right size and length. I have already sent anyone I know getting married to Garnish!

Mia is so great to work with!! She is so helpful and answers all your questions. I got my wedding dress, veil and bridesmaid dresses from Garnish and can't wait to see them all together on my big day!

Mia and Katie are so wonderful to work with! They make the experience fun and relaxing! Thanks to Mia's patience, professionalism and thoughtful advice, I was able to purchase a beautiful combination of Amsale dresses for my overseas bridesmaids in a stress-free and timely manner. I made my appointment on a peaceful Friday morning during the Trunk Show (10% discount) which was also a huge plus. It was definitely worth the 1-hr drive from DC. My bridesmaids received their dresses and they LOVE them!

From the minute we walked through the door, we felt an immediate connection with Mia. She was extremely helpful in guiding my daughter through the maid dress selection process. She recommended the perfect dress for me and suggested a color that was amazing and provided just the right contrast and accent to the other wedding colors. I give her my highest recommendation. This was the first shop that I visited to try on bridal gowns and it was wonderful. The rest of the shops I went to could not even compare. The shop is lovely, modern, bright and beautiful. The owner is very sweet and helpful. She made me feel very comfortable trying on dresses. The bridal gowns are all on display, so you can choose which ones you want to try on. Garnish Boutique is wonderful. Garnish was the last of many bridal dress stores I tried and boy am I glad I did! Mia and her staff were attentive and helpful fom the moment I stepped into the store. Mia let me come back a second time to try on the 2 dresses I was deciding between and even helped me set up my computer when I tried on the dresses so that my sister, who lives across the country, would be part of my final decision. I was not looking forward to dress shopping, I am not that kind of girl, but Mia made it fun and comfortable. She also has a serious eye for style and understands her customer. I did not like the way the veils looked on me. At her suggestion I tried on a fascinator which she carried in the store. It was final touch that tied my look together and it was my husband's favorite part of my outfit on our wedding day. If you want to truly enjoy your wedding dress experience, chose Garnish. You will be smiling the whole time!

Mia was amazing! She helped me with every single part of my wedding - bridesmaids dresses, my gown, and a veil. She truly takes customer service to another level. I was out of my comfort zone with this whole wedding process and she couldn't have made it easier for me.

My first interaction with Mia was for my friend's wedding--I went there to try on bridesmaid dresses. We had such a great time together that when it came time to select my own wedding gown, I went back to Mia. And, again--it was such a wonderful and relaxed experience! I was not one of those brides that had the instantaneous "that's the one!" bridal gown experiences. By the time I tried on almost all of the wedding gowns in the store, I had several gowns in the running. Mia provided great guidance on the pros and cons of each style and really helped me narrow down to the PERFECT dress. Ordering and picking up the dress was super easy. I would never hesitate to send anyone to Mia--they would be in great hands!

If you want a wedding dress that doesn't scream white cupcake, Mia is the woman to visit. My dress was unique, spectacular and very reasonably priced. It's a Jenny Yoo, and Mia carries her line as well as a number of others. I visited her 4 times and she was patient and full of great ideas and suggestions each time. It's a small, intimate shop and you need to make an appointment - she only sees 1 client at a time. She doesn't have an alterations person but it wasn't an issue - i have my own - she has several people she recommends highly. She also has a ton of bridesmaid dresses, as well as MOB and flower girl dresses. I love Mia!!!

Garnish Boutique is a true gem. Having had one slightly overwhelming dress shopping experience in DC, I did not fully know what to expect on the day of my appointment with Mia (the owner). I was in for a treat.

The space itself is beautiful - open, sunny, warm, and all around welcoming. When we arrived, Mia ushered us in, took some time to get to know us, and made us feel right at home. As the only appointment, I truly felt like I was a top priority, a feeling which persisted throughout the entire relationship. Mia has lovely taste, which is reflected in the fabulous array of chic, elegant, classic dresses. I wanted to try everything on, but was very lucky and fell in love with the first dress. With the dress decided upon, Mia helped me style it a bit, showing me different belts and embellishments, and was happy to wait for my mom to sign off on the dress over pictures, emails, and phone calls while we were in the store. Garnish also has an incredible selection of dresses for bridesmaids, mothers, and flower girls. One of my bridesmaids was with me for my first appointment, so we found the perfect dress for all the girls.

Three months later, my mother and I returned together to see MY dress. Mia was so sweet and made the experience extra special for my mom, who had missed the first visit. Once again, we had her full attention and she was so helpful, warm, and fun to work with.

Mia gave us a wonderfully personal experience from start to finish. I wholeheartedly recommend Garnish Boutique to any bride, both for wedding dresses and bridal party attire!

Mia and her staff are top notch! I had been to all the large commercial type bridal stores and really felt pressured by the staff to find something and buy--not at Garnish. They are professional, fun and understanding and truly made my experience wonderful! I am so happy I found the perfect wedding dress there. Everything came in exactly when she said it would and I was beyond pleased with my dress. It was absolutely stunning! Thank you to Mia for everything! Mia at Garnish was fabulous to work with! Her and her staff are very professional and were willing to work with us to meet our needs. My bridesmaids loved them and even though their dresses were a lot more expensive then the other places we visited, the style and quality made the dresses worth the higher cost. It is appointment only so make sure you call ahead - however its awesome having the one-on-one time with them.
One of my bridesmaids did have an issue with her dress which was the designers fault, however Mia is very supportive in helping get a refund..

I cannot say enough about Garnish Boutique!! I was looking for a very specific type of designer; one who allowed for options. It was not my preference to select one dress for the entire party. I wanted to make sure each girl (4 of them; all with different body types) were able to find a dress they felt MOST beautiful in.

Garnish offered all the designers I was interested in seeing - Jenny Yoo and MORE.

When we arrived, the boutique suggested another designer which offered 6 different tops, 3 waist lines and 6 skirts. All I had to do was choose a color and fabric - PERFECT. Oddly enough, each girl choose the same dresses (the one I secretly LOVED) with a small variation for my Maid of Honor!

We made several trips which were ALL successful. Not only did my party find AMAZING dresses, but Garnish also dressed my mother, in a STUNNING, silver sexy one shoulder mermaid dress; my cousin in an adorable Pink Jenny Yoo - my favorite designer and her favorite color; and my FAVORITE Aunt in a sexy fitted sleeveless blue mermaid dress. She said she felt like a Queen - and she looked regal!

I have and will continue to give Garnish praise! I even sent another cousin there, who traveled from Delaware to select her bridal party dress for her destination wedding in 2012. YAY Garnish!

I was on the hunt for a short wedding dress and was told I should check out bridesmaids dresses. My mom came across Garnish, and insisted I go by. I'm so glad she did! I loved working with Mia, and with her help, we came up with the perfect wedding dress for me- a short dress in red! My mom also found her MOB dress there, and we stylized it with different colors- it turned out beautifully! My only problem with the experience was that my dress didn't come in on time (which was ok, since I had ordered it with plenty of time to spare). I called Mia to find out if it had been delivered yet (a few days after it should've been there) and she called the dress company. Not sure if there was a problem in the ordering process or what, but my dress arrived about a week later. I definitely had to have it tailored- which ended up costing more than the dress itself! My mom's dress only needed one alteration- so I'm not sure how the sizing works out.

Mia is AMAZING. Such a kind, honest person and a joy to be around! We ordered 6 Jenny Yoo dresses from her, and I loved that her boutique does not do alterations on site- right away I could tell Mia would be honest about ordering sizes. I am often so skeptical of other bridal shops that encourage you to order larger sizes so they can make money off alterations. Mia was so knowledgable and accommodating with appointments, and responded right away to my emails. Mia really does make the whole proccess so much fun! I will miss visiting her. Highly reccommended boutique!

I had the pleasure of working with Mia for several months leading up to my wedding. One by one, I brought each of my five bridesmaids into meet with her, and each of them fell for her lovely customer service as much as I did.

Garnish Boutique is charming - the minute I stepped foot inside, I wanted to work there for Mia! What drew me there were the chic labels she carries - lines with clean, unfussy silhouettes. This is a boutique for modern brides and bridesmaids. Yet it's all reasonably priced.

But the heart of the shop is Mia. She is more than just a knowledgeable owner, she is a girls' girl with a passion for what she does. That shines through in her personal attention. My sister was very pregnant for fittings, yet needed her dress to fit POST pregnancy for my actual wedding day. Mia handled all of that effortlessly. She engages and advises you and your bridal party as if you've been friends for ages. We are friends to this day, in fact. I cannot recommend Mia and Garnish Boutique enough.

Everything about my experience at Garnish was wonderful! Mia was such a doll to work with! All of the dresses are cute and stylish and can fit many different body types and styles. They also come in so many great colors to compliment any wedding style! My favorite part of my experience was having a bridesmaids dress fitting at the shop on a Saturday afternoon with all of my bridesmaids. It was so much fun to try on the dresses as a group. I hear that the shop has recently started carrying chic bridal gowns! I only wish they had been around when I was choosing my dress!

Getting my bridesmaids dresses was one of the most fun parts of the planning process and Mia at Garnish made it so easy! I really wanted seersucker dresses for my back yard wedding. I did not know where to find them and a friend had told me about Garnish. Not only did they have a great dress selection, but they also had a variety of seersucker colors to choose from. I decided to let my 6 bridesmaids pick their own style dresses, they were also very happy with their dresses and the service they received.

Mia at Garnish was delightful to work with. She helped my mother and I look at dresses for me as well as dresses for my bridesmaids and was exceedingly patient and accommodating. We ran into a few difficulties with differences between the original price quote and the final cost of the girls' dresses, but Mia corrected the disparity quickly and professionally. The girls' did find that the sizing of their dresses was off compared to the size charts provided by the designer, but based on other reviews below, I think the problem lies with the designer, not Mia. Be mindful of sizing when ordering Anna Elyse dresses, though.

I used Garnish for my 5 bridesmaids dresses. We purchased from the Anne Elise line and the dresses were very nice. I was not pleased with the service I received from Garnish though. At first Mia the owner was very nice but when we went for our fitting ( which we did make an appointment for ) she was rude to my bridesmaid and rushed them through picking their dresses ( I let each pick their own style). At over 300$ per dress we spent over 1500$ there in one day so I expected her to be patient and polite. Then she quoted me the wrong price for the dresses so it was a lot more then I had anticipated. She did not tell us each style strapless, straps, v-neck, costs different prices. Also we were not informed that we had to pay in full when ordering the dresses. Finally she insisted my bridesmaids get dresses in sizes way too large for them which lead to costly tailor fees. The place is not cheap and the dresses are nice but you can likely find the same designers somewhere else with better serviw.

Mia, the owner is exceptional! She has created an amazing little boutique with hundreds of beautiful dresses in amazing colors and fabrics! The quality is amazing but you do pay for what you get! If you are looking for a dress that is simple, beautiful and not typically found in david's bridal this is where you should shop! Mia is an expert at what she does, always thorough and friendly. We had the bridesmaid's dresses in plenty of time. However, call before showing up, Mia is not always there so the shop is not always open. Schedule an appointment with all of your girls!

I had a wonderful experience with Garnish Boutique. I ended up purchasing my bridesmaids and flowergirl dresses in addition to my wedding gown here. All of the dresses were made by Jenny Yoo. Mia was friendly, helpful, and honest from the beginning. Her boutique is lovely, and she schedules appointments so you are the only party there at one time. Although the prices are higher end for bridesmaids dresses, they are beautiful in quality. I can't think of a better place for modern, flattering dresses. I absolutely loved my wedding gown, which needed no alterations (I think that was pure luck). When I picked it up from Mia, I was a little sad that my "dress journey" was coming to an end. She made it a real pleasure!

Mia was awesome to work with. I went an untraditional route with my wedding dress, (I wore a long slightly silver dress) and she was great at helping me choose a dress that best flattered my figure and made a statement about who I am. Mia is upfront, awesome and has fantastic taste.

Mia at Garnish Boutique did an extremely professional and honest job of my bridal attendants' attire. I knew I wanted Jenny Yoo dresses and there are only a handful of stores that carry Jenny Yoo. Garnish Boutique is one of them.

I went to the website and chose 3 styles of dresses that I liked. Mia had all 3 in stock to view along with the large fabric swatches in the colors I chose. I visited another store prior to Garnish Boutique, but I didn't get the sense that they wanted my business. Mia made me feel like she wanted and appreciated my business.

Due to her extreme professionalism, honesty about the dress styles, etc., I chose to work with her for ordering the dresses. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. ALL of the persons received their dresses by the date she quoted us.

I highly recommend Mia's services for your bridal party's attire. She has many designers to choose from at her store. Her experience and professionalism just make the purchase less stressful and give you a sense of "everything will be fine".

Mia is so easy to work with and incredibly flexible, especially when I couldn't decide on a dress. She had such great suggestions for my bridesmaids and an incredible selection. When you walk into Garnish, phrases like "Classiest bridal salon ever" and "Oooh my goodness!" and "Now THIS is a bridal boutique" start pouring out of your lips! It is beautifully feminine and in my opinion, exactly what a bridal boutique should look and feel like. Mia, the owner, is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet and she makes sure each bride has a true, feel-like-a-princess, bridal experience. Garnish's delicious selection of wedding dresses will easily make you weak at the knees. I tell my brides that they won't need to go anywhere else. Highly, highly recommended!
