Fun professional DJs that provide just the right amount of interaction. We play great music for Wedding Ceremonies, Cocktail hour, dinner and dancing all night.

For most weddings we perform in a suit, or sport coat and tie. As with all of our services we will be able to provide you exactly what you want, from formal to casual.

If there is a song, or style of music that you would like at your wedding, we can provide it. If you would like to provide it to us, we can play your CDs as well.

Our services start at 4 hours, and go for as long as you need.

Depending on what DJ from our team you would like to meet something may be able to be set up. However if you do not know what DJ best suits your event, You can seclude an appointment with our Wedding planers, After discovering what style of interaction and music that you want, we know our staff very well and can pick a great DJ that will be just right for your personality.

Yes we will bring everything and set up prior to your guests arrival. No matter what your wedding requires, we have available. From simple and elegant, to extreme and wild - we can deliver, and have been doing so for over 33 years.

We have an extensive lighting production available. Including Intelligent scanners and mirror ball. Our Custom Name Projection is a great future that many brides and grooms have been using to personalize their weddings.

Set up takes about 30-40 minutes, however we usually arrive approximately 60 minutes before our contracted start time.

We would require anything from 4 foot to 8 foot table, with 6 feet being the most common.

We will need space for our speaker stands. For most receptions 2 speakers just to the right and left of our DJ setup is ideal.

We have Certified MCs available for your wedding reception. During the dance portion of your party, we will engage your audience to create a fun exciting energy when appropriate.

We are able to eat at our DJ setup, to ensure that the music is just right. If we are playing music for your dinner a meal for us is appreciated, however not required.

We always have one of our Certified Wedding DJs on call the night of your event. In the unlikely event that something should happen and your DJ is not able to attend your wedding, out on call DJ will be there.

Overtime can be arranged at your reception with us. Our overtime rate is $60.00 for 30 minutes or $100.oo for one hour.

We service from Horseshoe Bay to Abbotsford at no charge. Whistler, Chilliwack and Hope however would require a travel fee, contact us for arrangements.

How do we know that you will provide the service that we really want?
We listen! All of our events have extensive planning forms created to allow you to plan your party, the way you want it to be. Our full-time event coordinators will personally assist you ahead of time on the phone or in our office to go over all of the music details, event details and planning to ensure that we provide you just what you envision. We love happy clients and work hard to keep you happy!


Are you experienced?
We are currently celebrating over 33 years as the most requested DJ service in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. All of our DJs have a minimum of 10 years of experience with our company and have been very involved with creating great Company Parties, Wedding Ceremonies & Receptions, Anniversary Celebrations, Fundraisers, Team Wind Up Parties, Birthday Parties, Sweet 16s, School Dances, Grads and more. Other DJs will meet us at our home, or a coffee shop to discuss our wedding, will you?
As convenient as that may seem, how can you really tell if they are a legitimate service unless you visit their place of business? Most of these DJs do not have an office, or any real commitment to their ’profession’. They treat their DJ business like a hobby. We run our business full time, and are dedictated to DJing ONLY! We invite you to our offices to meet with us and plan your event. We are located one minute from the freeway in Coquitlam. Our office is open Monday - Friday 9:00 till 4:30. We are also available to schedule after hours appointments.

May we or our guests make requests?
YES! We welcome your dance music requests. We also encourage your guests to approach us with their dance song requests at your event. Our DJs love to be engaged with your friends and famly. You will also be able to include a “do not play list” for those songs or music styles that you do not want played at your event. How will your DJ be dressed?
Our DJ will always be dressed appropriately for your event. For most weddings and corporate events our DJs will be in a suit, or shirt, tie, and jacket. We would never want our DJs to dress in a manner that draws more attention to us than to you. As well, there may be events where you want your DJ in a tux, or in jeans, or dressed specifically for your occasion, just let us know.

Are your DJs experienced at weddings?
Yes. Our wedding certified DJs are very knowledgeable, and experienced with performing at weddings. With so many concerns about the details of your reception, you can be assured that your Garry Robertson Music DJ has many years of wedding experience. The average experience of our DJs is from 10-15 years, all the way up to 20+ years. You will always have a certified Garry Robertson Wedding DJ at your wedding ceremony and reception. Do you use professional equipment?
Yes. Each DJ on our team has mobile sound equipment of the highest quality that can provide crisp, clear digital sound and volume appropriate for your group. We upgrade our DJ equipment on a regular basis. We can also provide the right equipment to handle any sized event at any sized venue … yes, even BC Place!

Do you provide an emergency back-up system?
Yes. Not only do we have back up equipment on site at your event, we have a back up DJ on call the night of your event. Our back up DJ is on our payroll that night, and has our emergency cell phone with him. In the unlikely event that something should go wrong we have backup ready to go! In over 33 years, we have always come through at an event.

Are you insured?
Of course! We carry $2,000,000 liability insurance. If you’re hosting a party, you can be assured that we are covered. When you are working with a real, legitimate DJ company, you better believe you are covered!
