This is the place we decided to go for our honeymoon. For 4 nights/ 5 days, we got a great deal. Basically you are able to pick from many different houses/cabins/lodges in the Fredericksburg area.

Gästehaus Schmidt was wonderful! We planned a romantic getaway weekend for everyone who attended the wedding. We included a card for Gästehaus Schmidt in the invitation and encouraged everyone to use their services to book a bed & breakfast stay while in town for the wedding.The staff was extremely cheerful, helpful, and flexible. They even put our wedding night lodging under a different name so that none of the more... ahem... mischievous of our wedding party would try to pull anything during the night! :DThey were absolutely wonderful and everyone who took us up on the suggestion was thankful they had stayed in a B&B and praised their interaction with Gästehaus Schmidt.
