Gavin and Erin Wade were our incredible photographers at our wedding in Pasadena, CA (Ambassador Mansions and Gardens). They are warm, friendly, professional and extremely talented photographers who have all the knowledge and fancy equipment one could ask for to capture their most special day.

We purchased their basic wedding package and added additional time during our wedding day. The engagement photo session included in this package adds tremendous value. During our engagement session in Laguna Beach, Gavin and Erin provided us with helpful and easy to understand directions on how to stand, position our head, arms, etc. in a way that felt comfortable and natural. It was so much fun and very romantic! Most importantly, it prepared us for our wedding day.

Our wedding and engagement photos are amazing! Friends, family and even people we don’t know have complimented us on them. We look like ourselves, but ourselves at our absolute best. We were so impressed with Gavin and Erin’s ability to capture such special moments in our lives - even in the toughest lighting situations.

My Fiancé and I were engaged for almost two years. That left a lot of time for me to plan every little detail of our wedding. I did A LOT of research on all of our vendors, but I knew that along with the venue itself...the photographer was the most important additional to our wedding day. Gavin and Erin's artistic ability to capture all of the emotions of the wedding day in EVERY photo is truly what sets them apart from anyone else. There really is no comparison to the work that these two amazing photographers do (P.S.-they are the most fun and adorable husband/wife team that I have ever met!). LOVE LOVE LOVE our photos!!

We actually found out about Gavin and Erin from viewing an album they did from a previous wedding at our wedding venue while still trying to scope out wedding sites. The album was flawless, so we just had to meet them. From the moment we met Gavin and Erin, we knew there was something special about this duo. Their engaging and outgoing personalities made it easy for us to share our vision with them. So it was done.... we booked them and never looked back :)
Our engagement session went great! I was a little worried because sometimes I can be a little awkward to photograph (with posing and such), but Gavin and Erin made the environment so natural and comfortable I discovered my inner model:) Not to mention the venue they suggested for us photographed beautifully!
When it came time for our wedding day, we had no worries about Gavin and Erin's abilities. To make a long story short, our photos came out gorgeous and, truthfully, I can't stop looking at them! You know your photographers are good when your parents are raving about not only how great the photos came out, but also about their kind souls.

I had my wedding last month and used Gavin Wade Photographers.

We first met Gavin and Erin on the day of our engagement shoot, and they are wonderful people with incredible talent. They got to know us and made us feel comfortable. These two are also an amazing team and work really well together. The pictures of both our engagement and wedding came out above and beyond our expectations.

On the wedding day, the whole bridal party and I had so much fun hanging out and taking pictures with Erin in the bridal suite. It seems that my hubby and his groomsmen had a great time too getting their pictures taken by Gavin. They are both very good at taking pictures in the moments when our true emotions show, and our happiness and excitement was captured in pictures throughout the day. Not only that they took beautiful pictures of our wedding, Erin came to the rescue when I had my wardrobe disaster. When the bustle loop of my dress broke, Erin safety pinned it so I could go on and enjoy the rest of the night. She is a bride's best friend.

We had so much fun at the wedding, and thanks to Gavin and Erin, we now have the pictures for the memories of it. I will recommend these two to anyone. You will not be...

My husband and I could not have been happier with Gavin and Erin and their work! They were professional from beginning to end, worked within our budget, and were just delightful to work with. After spending time with them during our engagement session, working with them on our wedding day was like being with family. Their enthusiasm and expertise put us completely at ease to enjoy our wedding day.

They work so well as a team as well as individually to get great photographs. I loved having Erin with all of us girls as we got ready. She helped with some wedding dress crises last minute, knowing how to use baby wipes to remove flower pollen from white satin and how to zip up a dress and keep it from falling off when a hook came detached from my dress. What a lifesaver!

Gavin meanwhile was with my husband snapping shots of him and all the groomsmen. When the groomsmen were pulled away for other duties, Gavin was joking around with Duncan as they took pictures making him feel more relaxed before the ceremony.

They did an incredible job of photographing our day. The pictures are lovely and they really captured the qualities being expressed such as the joy of our families, the excitement of the bridesmaids, the love and enthusiasm of my husband and I. I can't get over how well their pictures show our personalities and our dynamic as a couple.

I just love these two and their work! Our wedding was the third time I had worked with them as they photographed two other weddings in which I was a bridesmaid. They are so good to each of their clients and I have been raking my brain trying to think of engaged friends to whom I can refer Gavin and Erin so I can see them again!

Gavin and Erin are amazing! We had so much fun with them. They take the opportunity to get to know their clients through an engagement session. We were able to tell them what we did/didn't like about those pictures, and they incorporated it into the wedding day. Our pictures are absolutely stunning. We contacted Gavin and Erin after getting a referral from our venue. Gavin was immediately responsive and we talked on the phone for a while before setting a time to meet. They were able to make time for us within the next week or so which we really appreciated because we wanted to get vendors on board right away. Our first meeting was just so great and we thought they were both such lovely, happy people, who had genuine excitement about our engagement and our wedding day - which was 9 months away! Not to mention their photographs were wonderful & so creative. We were pretty much set on both of them right after our meeting and booked them probably the next day thereafter! As part of our package we had an engagement session with them a couple of months after the first meeting. They were so supportive of our vision for our engagement photos and made us feel so so comfortable in front of the camera; we really enjoyed that day. Plus, we got to hang out with them for a couple of hours which was really important to my husband and I before our wedding day since we knew we would be spending lots of time with them that day. By the time the wedding day came around I felt like they were friends and were so happy to have them arrive and start snapping away. They were on time, incredibly professional, creative, patient and supportive throughout the whole day. Their enthusiasm never wavered throughout the day and they captured every shot we wanted - every photo is truly beautiful. Everyone has gushed over our photos and they are more than we could have ever imagined - just stunning! I've probably looked at them 50 times and replayed the whole day over and over! They got us our photos within a month of our wedding and put up a blog post of great photos within 2 weeks. Gavin and Erin are the best!! They are so professional, fun, and talented! They were always accessible to answer any questions that we had. Most importantly, they made me and my husband feel at ease in front of the camera, which is impressive since neither one of us like being in front of the camera. They were always flexible to any suggestions that we had and they made the whole process (from engagement to wedding) effortless. Our wedding day was amazing and Gavin and Erin definitely captured all the love, beauty, and excitement in the photos. Another amazing thing about Gavin and Erin is how quickly they are able to send you your photos. We got our wedding photos back in 2 weeks!! (I know of brides who have waited over 6 mos to get their photos). We cannot say enough good things about Gavin and Erin. This was the most important day of our lives and we definitely made the right decision with Gavin and Erin. We will definitely use them again if we ever need professional photographs and we will continue to refer them to all of our friends and family.

What we most appreciated about Gavin and Erin was their warmth, their support and their amazing ability to capture the joy and laughter at our wedding in such an intimate and strikingly beautiful way. Despite the short fuse, we were able to squeeze in an engagement photo session. We weren’t sure what to expect, but they guided us masterfully and truly made us feel completely comfortable. The entire shoot was a blast! The resulting album is gorgeous, exceeding all our expectations.

Leading up to the big day, Gavin kept in close touch with us, and was very responsive to all our questions, both via email and cell phone. The wedding and reception went SO smoothly - they were prompt and professional, and interacted really warmly with our guests. They were clearly enjoying themselves, which helped everyone else feel at ease. During the reception, they stole us away for a few minutes to take a beautiful long-exposure nighttime shot of us with the ocean, beach and city. We were impressed by their attention to detail – they double-checked the photo before we returned to the reception, and decided to re-take the shot when they saw that it hadn’t turned out as they wanted. While we were on our honeymoon, they mailed us CDs with hundreds of AMAZING photos! There are so many perfect ones that we are having trouble deciding on which ones to put in our album.

Gavin and Erin Wade are the best wedding photographers in the business! After researching online and viewing various portfolios, Gavin and Erin's immediately rose to the top. We set up an appointment for an introductory meeting and after two minutes we knew we had found our wedding photographers. We met with Gavin about 8 months before our wedding and from the very start we knew we were in good hands. He was always available to quickly answer any questions and make us feel very confident that all of our wedding day memories would be photographed. Gavin and Erin literally came to the rescue and were ABSOLUTELY Amazing!!!! We planned our wedding in under 5 months and on a major budget. We had seen their work from a friends wedding. The pictures were unbelievable and exactly what I wanted. When I saw their prices, I was so bummed because it was way out of our price range. There are nice wedding photos and then there are wedding photos by Gavin and Erin that are the most amazing thing you have ever seen!

I just can't say enough wonderful tings about our experience with them. From the moment we got on the phone we new we had to work with them. They are so easy to work with and they make everything so fun. It seems like there are so many people out there who have expensive camera who claim to be photographers. With Gavin and Erin you are getting the REAL DEAL! They just pick up on so many nuances, that others would miss, they understand lighting, shutter speed, staging, etc and as a result you look your absolute best (probably better!) in your photos.

Rarely I have been to an event and really noticed the photographer, but after the wedding we got so many compliments on how much everyone LOVED our photographers. They care about what they do and they love it and all of that shows in the pictures that you get back from them. I wish I had more reasons to work with them again! They are awesome!!!

Gavin and Erin are the most amazing photgraphers! They know what they are doing and produce the most amazing pictures for both your engagement shoot and on your wedding day. I am obsessed with looking at my pictures and want to do it all over again. They are extremely nice and answer any questions you have. They know how to make you comfortable infront of the camera if you or your man are camera shy. They are the best and I would suggest them to anyone and eveyone!!!!!!!! Gavin and Erin were such a joy to work with for our big day. They are some of the most genuinely kind and helpful people I've ever met, and they positively added to the happiness of the day. The quality of their photography is fabulous and their style is classic, so even as time passes and photography trends change, the pictures won't seem dated or out of style.

Gavin and Erin were the best photographers EVER! We had developed such a great rapport with them immediately that we booked their services without a face-to-face meeting. When we met them for our engagement session, they were so much fun and super engaging. We were even super late (bad traffic) but they were so relaxed and assured us that we had plenty of time.

We decided from the start that we were not going to place a budget on photography because we will have our pictures forever. Once we had set our wedding date with the church, booking our photographer was the next thing on our list. I found Gavin and Erin on an internet search, and my husband and I were very impressed with them on a weekend trip to California from Washington, D.C. Their prices are comparable with other photographers but I think their photos are far superior.

Gavin and Erin were extremely responsive by both e-mail and phone, and they always made us feel like their only couple even though they are very busy. We only had 3.5 months to plan the wedding and we were doing it from across the country, so they sent us ideas for reception venues since we were in a rush. They were helpful with things that had nothing to do with photography and that showed me that they truly wanted our day to be perfect. They even helped me pick someone for hair and makeup (Kacee Geoffroy - also recommended by me!) because they know a lot of other vendors in the wedding business.

Our wedding party loved having Gavin and Erin around. My maid of honor even talked about having her wedding in Orange County just to have them shoot her wedding! I felt comfortable all day with them and they were so nice to all our guests. Our preview was on Facebook three days after the wedding and we received our photo CDs in just a few weeks.

I could write a review with a whole bunch of exclamation points screaming how amazing Gavin and Erin are. But just take a look at their Web site and decide for yourself. They are incredibly talented, professional, nice and genuine. What more could you want?

One word to describe Gavin and Erin...AMAZING!! What can I say, but they were one of our favorite vendors! When we first met with Gavin and Erin, we knew we wanted them to be the ones to capture one of the biggest days of our lives!!! We had met with quite a few other photographers, but no one could compare to these two!! When we took our engagement pictures, they made us feel so comfortable! They were flexible with us and our pictures were sooo breath taking!!! Gavin and Erin were responsive and professional! Whenever I had a question, they would get back to me right away! To me, this said a lot! I knew that they were busy, but they still took time to me feel important!! I knew they had tons of weddings and engagement sessions to shoot, but they made us feel like ours was #1! :) Gavin and Erin told us about doing the "first look" at our initial meeting. I was so not having it at first, but after listening to them explain how it worked, we were sold! Doing the first look, gave my husband and I a chance to see each other right before the wedding. Today, this idea is becoming more and more popular! This time together allowed us to spend time with one another... just the two of us... without family, friends, vendors, just us! It was an amazing feeling and experience! Gavin and Erin captured the pictures of me walking up to my husband as his back was turned waiting for me to approach him. Between the two, Erin and Gavin were able to catch both of our expressions, during that very emotional moment. After we took our pictures together, we took our bridal party pics and got those out of the way! After the ceremony, we only had to take family pics! It worked out great because we were able to hurry and get to the reception to join our friends and family!
Gavin and Erin posted a highlight of our wedding pics within 2 days of our wedding!!! Amazing right??!! Our family loved our pictures and they turned out absolutely stunning!! What an amazing couple and an amazing team!! If you are looking for a wonderful team to capture your wedding day... choose Gavin and Erin!!! They are affordable and willing to work with you!!! It is a benefit to have a couple shoot your wedding because you are able to have the wife shoot the bride and her girls and the husband shoot the groom and the guys!! Book them! Gavin and Erin did the photography for our engagement and wedding. I am typically very shy but they were so easy to open up to and talk to that the experience was nothing less than awesome. Even being on the beach in the freezing cold, they were all smiles and encouragement. The day of the wedding went very smoothly. Gavin and Erin were very relaxing and managed to get a LOT of pictures both before and after the reception without being overbearing or uncomfortable at all. Of course the pictures of the ceremony itself are amazing but I was probably more impressed with the photos they did of us afterward. The reception was photographed so well that I get to see parts that I never originally saw (the original setup) as well as re-experience all of the fun when I see the pictures. We just got our wedding album in the mail yesterday and felt like a kid on Christmas hahaha. I love that we have this beautiful book to keep our memories on display all the time. The service they use for the books is absolutely amazing and the layout of the pictures makes every page a work of art on it's own. They also gave us the option to have our engagement photos put into a picture-guestbook for the ceremony which is absolutely awesome. We have our pictures and special messages from our guests in a beautiful album as well.

Gavin and Erin had us both from hello. If you're not already sold on their quality and style of pictures, you sure will be once you meet them! They truly are amazing people who love what they do and it definitely shows in their photos! On the day of my wedding, they socialized with all of our friends and family and took so many amazing photos! Everyone that looks at them comments about how the pictures look like they should be in a bridal magazine. Second, they are very professional and you can trust them 100% with capturing every special moment of your big day. I never realized as a bride how much you miss at your own wedding, and thanks to Gavin and Erin I can treasure every moment- even ones that I would have missed without them. We interviewed 3 photographers prior to Gavin and Erin. We were referred to them and from the first meeting we had at the Ritz, we knew that they were our photographers. We gave them the run down of what we wanted from our photographers, extremely detailed. They were as excited as we were about our ideas. I am a very picky and particular client. I viewed, literally, hundreds of photographer's websites and picked my top 12-15 to interview in person so as to not waste their time or my time. Upon interviewing everyone, I noticed a big lack of connection between myself and many photographers. Their work was awesome, but their personalities lacked....UNTIL I met Gavin and Erin. It was an instant click! So much so that we ended up talking for hours...literally...until I even got a parking ticket for an expired meter. That's when I knew these 2 were exactly what I was looking for. Their photos were awesome (which I already knew from their website) and their personalities completed the package! I would recommend them 1000% to anyone getting married in CA or even elsewhere! So far we have had our engagement shoot and what a day it was!!! Our photos blew us away, and as an artist myself...their amazing work exceeded my expectations! Even my best friend is excited about my wedding next month so that she can have them take a few pics of herself and her husband. They give their all to each and every client and are worth every penny!!!!

They are amazing, beautiful and most importantly capture Stephanie's and my love for each other in the purest way. I have actually enjoyed looking at the pictures (that doesn't happen often) and they have brought tears to Stephanie's eyes (literally). The scariest part about it though: I find myself wondering when would be the best time to pop the question; When's the next shoot?
