Of all the vendors I hired for my wedding, Gemmer Photography was by far my best choice. Not only were Heather and Adam very attentive to what my husband and I were looking for in photographs, they were easy to communicate with and such a joy to work with. Many people at the wedding commented on how nice they were and how professional they were. A fun couple!
Beyond the excellent service, the photographs were amazing. Some of the best I've seen for such a fantastic price. Very artistic just as we asked, and very traditional for the family photographs that we needed. Great creativity! They were extremely quick in delivering the digital prints to us as well. We were able to see a sampling of the pictures online within days!
I look forward to working with them again for any future photography needs we have. A++ vendor!
Our pictures were absolutely beautiful!!! We couldn't have asked for beter ones. The video was okay. The quality of the picture wasn't as good as we thought it should be and it was shorter than we expected. The photographers themselves were fantastic! Great people to have photograph your event!

At our meeting, we had just stopped the videography services, since we were upgrading our cameras so often and not our video camera. This client wanted to use our videography servies despite our explanation that the quality wouldn't be as great as other videographers. However, we were an extremely cheap option (only $300), so it must have fit their budget. They slipped through our deadline of stopping our videography services, and now we do not offer this service anymore, and have put all of our finances and energy into our photography, which we hope will speak for itself!
I did not personally use Gemmer Photogrraphy for a wedding. They shot my daughter's senior portraits in the summer of '07. The time spent in various different places and the poses captured reflect on Gemmer Photography's incredibly unique & very talented artistic abilities. Myself and my daughter could not have asked for anything better than what we received; complete satisfaction!
I am a co-worker of Heather Gemmer in the Newborn ICU and have to tell you, she completely gives 100% of her work both in the NICU and in her photography. She has photographed at least four of our co-workers' weddings and the end results are awe-inspiring! Family, pregnancy, senior, engagement, wedding or other... perfecton every time! Customer satisfaction is at the top of the list for Gemmer Photography. Hours upon hours are spent editing photos for each event and their clients eagerly await their "deadline"; when their photos will be available to view on the Gemmer Photography website. Another awesome feature of Gemmer Photography; only having to wait for up to a week (many times they are edited and uploaded prior to a week) to be able to view your photo session on GP's website.
The price you pay for Gemmer Photography to capture YOUR cherished moments, is unbeatable! I give the highest of recommendations to this business. They're THE BEST in my book!
Heather and Adam are a great team. I have had them do family portraits a number of times. They are great with the children, and very patient with babies. They have an obvious love for photography. Heather does a great job making sure you get the shots you want, and works hard to make sure you get your photographs back as quickly as possible. I will continue to use Gemmer photography for all my photography needs.

Gemmer Photography consists of me (Heather) and my husband (Adam). I am sassy, full of life, and very girly! I love vintage things; things that have been touched by people who are no longer here....it's a beautiful thing that we can learn and be a part of the past! I love lovely, lacey, frilly things...cute bright buttons, strappy red heels, flashy cat-eye glasses, and ballet flats! I love it when a bride and groom let me 'try out' my ideas....that give me the freedom to dream!
I am 5 foot and 2 inches worth of vivaciousness! My husband is my 6 foot 4 inch philosopher. He is a humorous guy, with a bit of dry sarcasm. He has long hair with an impressive beard. He hates being the center of attention, and loves to talk books, beer, and music! We're quite an interesting couple, but we inevitably always make friends after shooting a wedding or family session! We LOVE our clients!!!
I (Heather) grew up surrounded by the dark room, a natural love of photography, and watching the magnificent hands of my grandfather capture beauty of all forms with a camera. From that point on my eyes saw photographs, my head formed frames, and my mind dreamt of keeping a record of the beauty I saw around me. I started this business right out of college, and my husband joined me shortly before we got married. We've had this well-established business for now 5+ years.
Though not formally trained, I have studied under my camera for years, and under my family's photography for years. I have a very meticulous, artistic eye. There is nothing better in this world to me than creating art with my camera. I am a full time Newborn Intensive Care RN by night; avid photographer in every moment. My job has allowed me to bless others in their grief as well as in their joy. Many of my newborn's and childrens' portraits have been faces repeated from my job; many whose stories are those of courage, hope in the face of awful odds; little miracles that happen even today.
Nursing is a deep part of me; I believe it makes me a unique "capturer" of your memories. I am warm when you need to be comfortable and relaxed. I am funny when you need to be reminded there is a reason to laugh. I am comforting when you simply need to capture these photographs in order to remember this beautiful someone when they are gone. We are thrilled and honored that we get the opportunity to create a living, printed memory....for you.
When I got married, my husband inherited this love of photography. Together, we are two; meaning we can catch all of your moments! My husband had taken classes in photography in college, and has now been studying under his camera for almost 3 years! He is absolutely vital to this business now! I (Heather) lived in China for a summer, working as a nurse, and found myself helpless to forget the people! We had planned to move to China in November of 2009, Adam to teach English as a second language, and I was to be volunteering in an orphanage for a few years. However, with the recent economy crisis, and some political strife, we've decided to revisit that option in a few years. We instead will be moving to Portland, Oregon around October or November of 2009. This is where we plan to make our home and raise our family. We cannot thank our clients/friends/family enough for their support, love, and business here!!! We have had the most incredible experiences and memories with you here! We will MISS YOU all!

We believe you should not have to spend a fortune for quality in your photographs, or for the "printing rights" to YOUR memories! We try to keep our prices as low as we can in order to still be cost effective for our business, yet still perfect the art of our photography excellently! We use only CANON equipment! Canon is well known to be the leader in photography! We only shoot digitally, and we always shoot an umlimited amount of photographs! We only shoot in RAW format, so your photographs are seamless and pristine! We use Photoshop CS4/Lightroom 2.2 for our editing software, which is the most expensive and highest quality editing software on the market. And, we NEVER shoot in automatic mode! We are true photographers....we strive to create artwork with every shot!
It is our earnest desire to create exquisite, timeless photographs. We work very hard for our clients, and consider it such an honor to be photographers!
