The staff at George Street knows what to do to make you feel special. They make every effort to make sure that you get the perfect photographer for your wedding day. After deciding to go with George Street we were given a style test to determine which of their photographers would best suit our needs. Then we were given three different photographer's portfolios to look at and we instructed to rank them. We ended up getting our #1 choice in Deonna and she was absolutely wonderful! Our pictures look amazing and she captured all the little moments that we missed as well! The staff at George Street was always quick to respond to emails and did everything possible to make sure that we got everything we wanted for our wedding.

I loved working with George Street. I felt like I got more upgades for things I wanted and still spent less than other photography companies. I was able to have the same photographer for my engagement session and wedding so we were already familiar with her personality and style before the big day. We had Lin, and she was wonderful. She has a great eye for a good shot and it felt great to have a photographer we could trust to get all the pictures we wanted plus some beautiful extras. I did a lot of e-mailing back and forth with the coordinators and they were always helpful and quick to respond. Everyone I came in contact with was very friendly. I also like that they have different people in charge of different things. It's not one person trying to organize everything. You have the coordinators getting everything organized, your photographer to take the pictures, and then a graphic artist to put together your album for you. Everyone does what they're good at and the results are fabulous.

My wedding was October 22, 2011 and I couldn't have asked for a better team!! Terri, Sean and Nathaniel were so amazing they were in the right place at the right time the whole day. This was a great company to work with. We only had used their photography service, and so far, their service and products have been fantastic. Their wedding coordinators were very helpful keeping us on track with ideas of photos to take and timelines for the wedding day.

Our photographer, Brian C., was awesome. He was very professional, friendly and fun, and has a great eye to use natural elements at his disposal to create amazing photos. We were pleased to work with him during the engagement stroll last October, and those photos turned out spectacular. I cannot wait to see how the actual wedding day photos turn out. We also had a 2nd photographer for 4 hours -- Becky -- who also was very friendly and professional. She spent more time taking pre-ceremony photos with my husband and his family while Brian was taking photos with my bridesmaids, my parents and me at the hotel.

Overall, we had a great experience working with them and found their service very valuable. I am positive that their photos captured all emotions of the entire day. It was seriously the best day ever.

This company was great from the 1st meeting. Every employee is there to make your day perfect. I changed my mind a lot and had many questions, and I always got prompt responses from them. The 2 photographers and videographer were very professional, arrived early and made the day go perfect. I am SO happy with my pictures! From the formal pictures with my huge family, to the wedding party pictures, to the photojournalistic pictures of us, to the dancing, George Street captured every moment and more! I haven't seen the video, but I'm sure it will be just as good. Thank you!

George Street Photography was very professional, great pictures, and I truly couldn't find anything better for the price. All around happy with my decision to use them for our wedding. Also, we received our wedding pictures online 5 weeks after our wedding which I thought was such a fast turn around time compared to other friends wedding pictures.

George Street was very professional. They were always in contact with me during the whole process prior to our wedding day. On the day they were early to my house, prepared and ready to go. The whole time they were not interfering with us and our day. I would highly recommend!

George Street has great prices and they deliver with great pictures. We had Brian shoot at our wedding and he made it very easy for us to feel comfortable in front of the camera. He took lots of shots which left us with many great pictures to choose from! I would definitely recommend George Street for you if you are on a budget but want to get your monies worth.

We had Tom L. for our photographer, and he was fabulous! We couldn't have asked for better pictures!! He captured the events of our day with expert attention to angles, details, and lighting! They were perfect!

Also love that G. Street gives the rights of the photos to the couple via a DVD. I don't know if that is common practice with other photographers or not, but we thought it was awesome.

I went with george street because I felt like this vendor cared. When I was researching vendors I would leave unsatified. I knew that George street would be great after I saw them as the WGN winner for their wedding give away. I think George Street won two years in a row. My Photographer was Carlos and my Videographer Gigi. They were both professional. I had them both for alomst 12 hours. I paid extra but I wasnted to make sure nothing was missed. They both arrived on time to my parents house and to the church. I was pleased that they both worked wiell with my other vendors like the DJ to coordinate the timing of the event at the venue. I had my photos at the Garfield Park Conservatory that was recently trashed after that hail storm we had. I was glad that Carlos was there before becuase I never planned a layout as to where I wanted my pic and he knew exaclty where. Gigi was great to. She wanted to make sure not to miss not a single thing. Thank you for making our day special!

My husband and I met with about 5 other photographers before we chose. George Street by far had the best price, however that wasn't all to us. We did not want to go broke for a photographer but we also knew that these would be the only pictures we will ever receive of our wedding day. They had amazing quality, amazing reviews and the nicest staff. I loved the fact that we got to choose our photographer. We chose, Tom. I highly recommend him. We had him for 10 hours (includes driving time from my mom's to the venue) and we ended up with over 1,700 pictures, all of which I LOVED! I really could not say anything bad about this company, they are professional, their work is beyond the expectations that I had, and they truley care about capturing the day for you.

We chose George Street Photography for our wedding photos. I chose Lin to be our photographer after seeing her portfolio. Well Lin was amazing! She was super nice and fun and made me feel very comfortable in front of the camera. She had great ideas and didn’t just do your traditional wedding pictures but threw in fun and unique poses. She didn’t make you feel stiff or posed but let you have fun with it. Our pictures turned out beautifully! I had such a hard time choosing the pictures for our album because there were so many fabulous photos! I have had so many compliments on my pictures and I couldn’t be happier! We used this company as our videographer for our wedding in Chicago on June 18, 2011. Thom is the person I worked with prior to the wedding and he was very responsive and helpful. David B. was our videographer and he was great! He was early to the bridal suite and seemed to just be everywhere all day and night getting wonderful footage! He was very nice and personable too. We got our video recently and were very pleased! I highly recommend this fabulous company! :)

Tom was great! He has an artistic style that I absolutely love. All of the pictures turned out great. Our whole experience with George Street was amazing everyone was attentive and kind. They did an amazing job!

We got married Friday June 10th and loved working with Thomas and George Street photography. He did such a great job. We loved our engagement photos so much it eliminated any fears about the wedding. We also went through George Street for our videography. Our videographer was named Jeremy and he did awesome, the video was hilarious and he did such a great job getting different angles. Very steady filmer too!

Overall it was so nice to not have to worry about the photography or videography. I knew they would be there and on time ;) And, yes, the wedding pictures turned out beautiful!

George Street has gone above and beyond our expectations! We loved the service that we recieved and the pictures were great! GSPV was wonderful! We booked them for photography and videography and they did an AMAZING job! Their prices are affordable too! We visited a few other places and after comparing the packages offered, there wasn't any question about it, GSPV was a great deal. Larry, Edyta, and Gigi did an great job with the photography and videography and they had fun pesonalities too! Their office staff has been very friendly and helpful. I've had several questions during the planning process and I even asked for some song recommendations for our wedding video. They not only answered each question I had but also provided me with several song recommendations for my video. Absolutely LOVED George Street! Our coordinator (Ashley) and photographers (Dennis K and Nathan) were brilliant. They truly listened to us and went the extra mile to make our Big Day perfect. Dennis did an incredible job capturing special moments throughout our wedding day/evening, and the photos turned out amazing!

In addition, George Street allows brides and grooms to keep a copy of their wedding's digital negatives. This is a GREAT DEAL! We saved so much money by booking George Street. Although I am still waiting for my wedding pictures and video, I am extremely satisfied with the services!. Prior to my event I would email my coordinator and get prompt responses. The day of the wedding the photographer and videographer were very attentive and creative in their shots! I loved the ideas they came up with! They were very friendly as well!! We used the photography services from George Street. Our photographer was Freddie B. and he was great! He did our engagement session and wedding and the pictures turned out beautifully. He calls a few nights before and gets to know you and your requests. He answers all your questions and guides you through scheduling. There were no surprises the day of the wedding. I’m in the process now of working on the album. Emily, who is our customer service rep, is great and so responsive! We got so much in our package! It was totally worth every penny!

We used George Street for our October wedding this year as well as an engagement photo session. Our photographer, David T., was an absolute pleasure to work with the day of our wedding. Of all of our vendors, he was by far the easiest to work with and we had nothing to worry about that whole day. We can't wait to see the pictures!

God Bless George Street Photo & Video!! I knew when I began my planning, that I wanted two photographers. I was fortunate enough, that when I booked my package the rate for the additional photographer was half off, so I quickly signed up!! The package was super affordable and so worth it! When I went to sign everything, Ryann was very helpful, and she explained to me that if I upgraded my package I would get a bigger keepsake album and 50 picture cards that had the website info for our pictures to include in thank you cards or pass out at the reception so that our guests could find our photos. We also got a complimentary engagement session, but since my husband had odd work hours we weren't able to utilize this, so they offered us a $50 photo credit to order prints! Since we upgraded we also got our pictures in a month instead of the usual 6! It was so worth it! The planning sheets they included were very helpful! Our lead photographer was PHENOMENAL!! He was so funny and really made me feel comfortable. He called me a few days before the wedding since we didn't get to meet during an engagement session and really talked to me about what I wanted on my day! The day of he was so thorough and when I was getting overwhelmed or people were telling me I didn't have time to get certain shots, RJ was quick to tell me that this was a once in a lifetime moment and that it was worth it to take the time to get those memories. He rode on the party bus with us to get those fun bridal party shots and we had such a good time with him! Our second photographer Sandy was awesome as well! She showed up early to the church and got the detail shots I wanted and really spent a good amount of time getting shots of the guys! She also went ahead to the reception to get detail shots there. I do regret there weren't more shots of our candy bar. It was huge and was the talk of the reception, and the few shots I saw on our proofs were only snippits. I wanted to be able to see it all together! Also after we got the proofs we realized we didn't get any pictures of my husband and his sister together. She was a bridesmaid and the only sibling he has so we regret not capturing some formal shots of them together on that day. I didn't get any with her either, and between that and not getting seperate shots of my individual bridesmaids and I together I was a little sad. I also wish we could have found room in the reception hall for the on-site studio b/c not a lot of people knew about it, and it didn't get utilized very much!! These are all 'coulda, shoulda, woulda thoughts' and are no reflection of the job that RJ and Sandy did, just stuff I wish I would have thought of in the craziness of the day! I highly recommend this company to any bride looking for the total experience!!

George Street was the easiest vendor to work with. They were very organized, always got back to me right away, and took care of all my crazy requests. Honestly, one of the best choices we made! Pictures are beautiful.

George Street offers a great photo package and is very up front about what it includes. The customer service is responsive and for the price, its a great deal. I did a lot of research and the only thing I missed was the personal relationship of getting to know the photographer. On the other hand, I hardly saw our photographer all night and the pictures came out great. All in all, they are a very proffesional company which makes them easy to work with, and they sell a quality product.

GSP&V was great! We got to choose our own photographer. We decided on Terri. She was awesome! She had a very candid eye and offered so many different and unique ideas. During the reception I never had to chase her down to take pictures of what and who I wanted. She was very flexible when our plans were changed last minute. I don't think I could have chosen a better photographer or company.

I am so happy we chose GSPV for our wedding. The price is UNBEATABLE!! You truely get MORE than what you pay for! Brian went above and beyond. He probably has a ton of mosquito bites to prove that. He did what ever it took to get the perfect shot and that included getting into mosquito infested bushes! I cannot express in words how great it was to work with him! We even discussed future photo ops with him!!

Very professional at all timers, on time and the photographer was very good at what she does!!! We loved the end result of our photos and our video!!!

Once again, this vendor went above and beyond any expectations I had. Ignacio was our photographer. He was prompt and professional. He was extremely fun and engaging. Ignacio captured us as a couple. He captured our personalities and that of the bridal party. Never have I seen a photographer so fun and into his work. He had some great ideas for photos. I cannot wait to see our photos in a few weeks.

I cannot say enough good things about how outstanding Brian from George Street was! He did exactly everything that we asked him to do and we had so much fun taking the pictures. He was very creative and artistic but at the same time very polite and willing to listen to others opinions of pictures that might work. Although I haven't been able to see our pictures yet, I know he did a phenomenal job and I would recommend George Street to anyone. Thank you so much!

As we read in their reviews, George Street lived up to expectations and gave us some very beautiful pictures. Some of the scenes our photographer came up with our so cute and everything looks like its done by a real professional. Picture quality also is top notch, and my husband and I were satisfied and pleased we picked them for our photographs.

My husband and I got married this past April and George Street was our photographer and videographer. Lin (our photographer) and Rex (our videographer) were amazing. They worked seamlessly together, came up with new and different ideas for poses, and made everything move along so smoothly. The photos came out magnificently and we can't wait to see the video!

George Street Photography is great! Hannah was our photographer. I really liked that I was able to view the work of the photographers to pick the one that I liked the best. We were able to meet our photographer before our wedding and with the free engagement photos, we were able to see her work with us before the wedding. Hannah is an excellent photographer who is very professional and does such beautiful work. During the wedding and reception, they seemed to stay out of the way but they got pictures of everything! we had over 1800 pictures. All of the pictures are so beautiful. I have had so many compliments that our pictures look like they should be in magazines. I couldn't have asked for a better company to work with. Our pictures were posted online in two weeks and we received our digital negatives in less than a month. Everything was very very quick and such a great value for the price. Our videographer Rex was also fantastic. Our video was finished two months early and it turned out so great. I would definately pick this company all over again!

We ended up choosing George Street Photo because one of our friends told us they were really great. That ended up being true. The photo's came out in outstanding quality, and were images that we really loved. The staff was very professional, and it was very easy to get everything set up.

George Street did my photography for my wedding and I love them everything they said they would do they did, I had no worries about anything they were on time they took all the pictures that i wanted and i had my copyright cds in no time I loved this place

I am not photogenic (sp) but some how our pictures came out beautifully. Howard W was my photographer and he was very kind and patient. Everyone has loved our photographs and Michelle and Emily provided great customer service the whole way through. I would recommend George Street to anyone.

We have not yet SEEN the finished product, but we worked with Patrick at the wedding. He was a really easy going and nice guy to work with. George Street sets you up with a wedding coordinator so you do not talk to/meet with the videographer until a few days before your wedding. Patrick called and asked some general questions around what we wanted covered, where he needed to be, etc. He also just wanted to get a feel for how we were as a couple. On our wedding day he was on time, had great equipment, seemingly captured all the important moments while not being in the way. We haven't seen the actual video yet, but from the work we've seen from George Street (who also did our photos) and our video montage that they put together, I have no doubt it will be great! I will update this post should it be anything less than A+ after we receive our video (typically 4 months after the wedding).

George Street Photo and Video made our wedding day absolutly perfect and without them, there is no way we would have such beautiful and extraordinary memories. Not only were they organized and well put together, but so incredibly friendly. They truly took the time to get to know us as a couple in order to help us pick a photographer that would suit what we wanted done on our wedding day. Our photographer was also incredible. He was so professional and flexible. He was ok with doing whatever we threw at him last minute and made sure that we got everything we were looking for plus some. Everyone we met with was easy going, friendly and helpful. We did not feel hassled or pressured into anything. I thought George Street did a fantastic job! Our pictures came out so beautiful! Our photographer was amazing and very easy to work with. I like how you can pick your photographer based on how he or she takes pictures ... it allows you to control how yours will look as well. Overall, my husband and I were very happy with the results and now we have a beautiful album to represent that. They are one of my TOP vendors that I am referring them to every bride I know.

My husband & I got married on 9/26/09 and we payed George Street in Lisle a visit on Valentines day. Tim Muller was very nice & explained their package to us and once we explained the type of pictures we wanted which was candid & not too many poses, he came back with a few dvds of photographers we could choose from. While we were watching the dvd with saw Brian Cowen's work, my husband & I looked at each other & without saying a word we knew we wanted to hire Brian for our wedding day. A few days prior to our wedding I spoke to Brian to go over the details & he was very easy going & wanted to make sure that most importantly we would be happy. Brian showed up to the church an hour before the ceremony & once I arrived with my bridal party, he asked me to let him know when I was ready to have him start taking pictures of me. He was in a room full of 7 bridesmaids, one bride, 2 mothers & one sister and a few visitors now & then & you couldn't even tell he was in that tiny room. He did not interrupt any part of our day & when we went to Cantigny after the ceremony for pictures, he noticed a stage with a red wall which turned out to be a nice backdrop for some pictures. He checked in with us before his 10 hours were up to see if there were any other pictures we would like to have taken too which was very considerate. We received our pictures a few days ago & we are pleased with how they turned out. When I had the chance to sit down & calmly look at each & every one of the 1300 pictures he took, I noticed that there was not one picture of us taken full length at the church & when we were at Cantigny, we took some pictures on a bench & although they looked nice, it was disappointing to see trucks in the background. Brian is talented & he captured beautiful moments as well as pictures that we had no idea he had taken and I do recommend him, I just wish that he would have taken full length shots at the church of just the two of us so that I can put it in a nice frame. We didn't want too many posed pictures except the ones at the church post ceremony & a few at Cantigny and although our candid shots did come out great (he has a great eye for that!) I just wish he would have given a little more direction while at the church post ceremony.

We hired Frankie from George Street Studios to take pictures on the day of my wedding and I am glad we chose him. He was very professional and called us ahead to make sure that he has all the details what kind of photos we want.I would strongly recommend his and studio's services.

We were very pleased with George Street Photo and Video. The staff was great to work with. Our videographer was there early both at the church (Old Saint Pats) and reception (The Park at the Park Grill) set-up and ready to go. He captured all the wonderfull moments beautifully. We just watched our video and definetly happy we upgarded to the High Definetion Video ( Blue Ray) well worth the small price to upgrade.

We absolutely LOVED working with G.S.! E-mails and calls were responded almost instantly and Hannah (our photographer) was absolutely amazing! Our pictures came out better than we could have even imagined and she was so fun to work with! Huge props to George Street for knowing what they are doing and doing it well!!

We really appreciated all that George Street Photo has done for us. At the time of my wedding planning I was living in Arizona. My wedding was in Chicago. They were really understanding and helped me out a lot. The planning went really smooth and they were quick to respond to any questions I had. They also made suggestions and were very flexible to meet in our times. Dan was our photographer and David was our videographer. They were the dynamic duo! George Street is simply amazing! They're professional, creative and great to work with. They have reasonable prices which is always a plus. Our Photographer was Ignacio Vilgre.. Thee best!! Our wedding was on the beach and he even participated in taking off his shoes like the bridal party. He was a pleasure to work with. When we saw our photos we couldn't stop looking at them! We wanted candid pictures that captured the emotion and he did that to a T! I would recommend George Street and Ignacio to everyone! He was on time/hilarious/sweet, the girls in the office always got back to me in a timely fashion through e-mail and always kept us informed/updated on anything wedding.

We highly recommend George Street for their photography services! We had Freddy as our photographer - we were able to look over the available photographers' portfolio at the time of our booking and choose our favorite (for no cost, unlike some other companies). We liked Freddy's style, and the woman helping us said he had such a great personality, so we went with him. He was great! He was friendly and cheerful all day (and it was a long day!), and took beautiful pictures! We did pay extra to have him for an extra hour because our ceremony was early in the day, and he had no problem being there for all that time! Everyone we worked with in the offices was very nice and friendly as well, including the photographer who took our engagement portraits - who even gave us recommendations for good lunch locations in the area when we left :) We decided against getting a videographer, so no review there, but we thought the photography was wonderful!

George Street was a wonderful choice for our photography and videography. When I booked I was a little nervous because the packages they offered for both services seemed too good to be true. However the results met all my expectations. Our photographer Chris was so nice and genuine and he managd to get great shots all day! I have recieved compliment after compliment on our wedding pictures.
George street made this whole process easy. They have people in the studio covering every angle, so putting the album and video together was a piece of cake. We loved what they designed and were thrilled with the quality.
We would definitely reccommend George Street to other brides!

Wow!!! Can't say enough good things about using George Street for my wedding. They had the best prices in the Chicago market and I loved their review process for picking the photographer I wanted to work with. Many studios pick the photographer for you, but George Street gives you the opportunity to view specific photo catalogs and find the photographer that fits best with your personal style. Personally, I wanted a photographer who was comfortable with unique and fun shots -- more of an artistic style rather than the traditional formal shoot. If this is what you are looking for ... ask for Dan Gin. What a find!!! He was the consummate professional, courteous and unassuming, but somehow appeared at the right moments. My guests, and my husband and I loved his sense of fun and his attitude was infectious -- even the littlest kids were hamming it up. George Street was my favorite vendor of the whole wedding planning process. I just ordered my album style and can't wait to go through the photos again.

My husband and I used George Street as our wedding photographer and we were not disappointed! The staff was always polite and professional, and never pushy. They explained everything involved thoroughly whenever we had questions, and were always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our wedding day was great. I did a ton of research to find an affordable photographer in the Chicagoland area, and they are it!

The photographer on our wedding day, Ignacio, was wonderful. He always made sure we were comfortable. He was also very personable and allowed us to relax and have fun. And no matter what drama arose (like our trolley breaking down!) he remained calm and went with the flow. People came up to us constantly during our reception telling us how much they loved our photographer...I've never seen that happen at a wedding before!

We got married on February 21st 2009 and it snowed the whole morning and I really wanted to take outdoor pictures, it was a cold windy night and Chris was all for it and didnt try to talk us out of it, and the pictures are beautiful I couldnt ask for better shots. I cannot say enough positive things about George Street Photo & Video. I must have researched over 50 photography studios in the Chicagoland area trying to find the perfect photographer for a decent price. One of the greatest things about George Street is that they have one package and it includes everything. Everyone is always looking to tack on extra fees for a wedding and it made me feel so comfortable knowing that they would not do that. The staff at the studio is cheerful, helpful, prompt to respond to emails and phone calls, very informed, and overall a delight to work with. We absolutely loved our photographer, Chris. He has the perfect disposition for his job. He is so friendly and remains completely calm, no matter what happens. He was great with the kids, the mothers, and the drunken revelers alike. My mother would not stop raving about him and every bride knows how tough it can be to please a mother of the bride. His photos were just as great as he was. He took incredible shots and he was so discreet, I didn't even know he was there most of the time. He never stood in anyone's way, but still got amazing shots. We took a combination of posed and candid shots and they call came out beautifully. He has a lot of creative ideas for photos and they looked great. I loved working with George Street!!!! From the planning, to the photo montage, photography, videography, etc. ... I was completely happy with the entire experience!!! Our photographer, Dan Gin was both completely professional and a lot of fun!!!! We had a very large bridal party and he made sure we got everyone together and got all of the photos we needed!!!! I highly recommend George Street for your wedding photography. Everyone I dealt with was exceptionally professional and helpful. They were more than willing to accomodate us with our needs and our wedding photographer was the best I've ever seen (compared to the other ones I've seen for my friends' weddings). She was very personable and didn't intrude when she didn't have to (i.e. she didn't act like this was her show). She allowed us to be ourselves and let us have fun with our pictures. Their prices were also very reasonable.

This company handled everything so smoothly, especially because I'm a procrastinator and handed in all my forms two days before the wedding!!

This Photography company is amazing and affordable. The best part about this company is that you get to review the photographers work so you can pick the photographer you like best!

There is one word that would describe George Street Photo & Video. That word is "Amazing". From our initial consultation, they made every effort to meet our needs and our desires for the photos that would be taken on our wedding day.

The people at the studio were very professional, friendly and helpful. During the months leading up to our wedding, if I emailed the studio with a question, I usually had an answer in my inbox the very next day.

The photographer that was booked for our day(they have many different photographers in their studio) was wonderful. He knew just how to pose everyone, he knew what lighting worked best, what candid shots would work, etc. Aside from the obvious time of the formal portraits, I never had any idea that he was there. It has been a month since our wedding and our wedding pictures were just posted online for us to view. There were shots taken at times that I can't even remember that our photographer was standing in that spot. He was never in the way, he was appropriately dressed, he was not rude or demanding, he allowed family members to take photos once he was done with a pose.
