I get asked all the time -- so who does a wedding photographer get to shoot their own wedding?? The choice was a no-brainer from the beginning, and I've seen the best of the best in the industry!
One word for GetzCreative.....AMAZING!!!!!!! My husband and I have had the joy of working with Michelle and TJ over three sessions in the past year, and every time we were blown away. I booked our wedding with them before I even found our venue because I knew they were the exact style of artists I wanted to capture my wedding day! From our very first consultation over the phone, the creative ideas just started flowing. They spent time with us choosing perfect outfits and accessories and props to really creat unique, one-of-a-kind photos. The comments we got from our friends and family about the engagement photos were SO great! People said they looked like magazine photos, and couldn't believe how unique they were. Then, I did a special session for my husband and was again blown away by the quality of the images from the studio session. I felt like a total rockstar, and TJ & Michelle made me completely at ease. (DEFINITELY recommend this as a wedding gift to your man!!)

After those two sessions, I couldn't wait to see what they would come up with for our wedding!!! We know that the Getz's style is more creative than documentary (because who really wants tons of candid photos from your wedding of you eating/laughing with a double chin/people blinking,etc?? :) ) , so we gave them several hours for bridal party and bride and groom photos. I think that they made it super clear to us that the way they shoot is highlighted best when the bride and groom prioritize wedding photos on their day, and give them time to set up the incredible shots they come up with. All of ouir bridal party had SO much fun with them, and kept telling us how awesome our photographers were.

When we got our photos back, Tim and I were just speechless. The amount of careful editing, unique processing, and stunning lighting that they utilized to make our photos truly unique was unreal! I am a million times more than satisfied with our wedding images! They created the most stunning shots that bring back all the memories from our wedding day. Our friends and family keep telling us that the photos don't even look real, they're so amazing. Getzcreative is the most unique choice for your wedding photography, and you will not be disappointed!!!

Chels (my wife) and I knew early on that our photographs would be highest priority--even we had nothing else, we were going to make sure that we had some photos that not only reminded us of our big day, but also reflected our personality in an incredibly fun and raw way.

We quickly were scouting all over for photographers that matched this description. For awhile we kept hearing rehearsed schpeels over and over and thought that what we wanted might not be available in this area.

We were wrong! We met TJ and Michelle and instantly knew that photography meant something different to them. It wasn't a job with a checklist; it was a passion with such a bright spark that it reignited our excitement for the wedding. They had idea upon idea, constantly asked us for our input, interests, and other details that would help them create photographs that went beyond frozen moments--they captured our character...our love. The emotions that seem impossible to articulate, they somehow perfectly express it through their artistic and professional-grade shots. If this review seems like a lil' much, I'd just take a good hard look over their website--TJ and his team are ridiculously talented. In fact, my friends that majored in photography and filmmaking asked me if they could talk to TJ at our wedding after seeing our engagement photo album (that TJ did) just to tell him how "gorgeous" and "genuine" the shots were.

This brings me to possibly the most important part of my review: not only is TJ talented, he cares about his customers as much as he cares about his art (which is saying a LOT). They will go out of their way to ensure that you're happy. Well TJ and crew, we are BEYOND happy. You made us feel like gold, and you gave us pictures that are worth even more; but honestly, you offered us something that is priceless: immortalized moments of artistic perfection that somehow capture our love for one another. It's nothing short of magic, and the least I could do to pay you back is write a review to let our area know that we are lucky to have you, your wonderful wife, and your incredible team.

One more thing: I know everyone out there is concerned about the very thing that rules the world--money. I know people are constantly looking for ways to cut corners and save some money (especially in this economy), but I URGE you: do not cut corners on the very expense that ensures you not only remember your special day and the people you shared it with, but fills your body with the same emotions you felt on that unforgettable day. TJ has this talent. After seeing the pictures, I would have paid twice what they asked. Seeing my wife and I captured in our best moments in our most natural moments is worth a great deal to me. I know it's worth a lot to you and your special person too. You won't be disappointed going with GetzCreative.

Daniel and I absolutely loved working with Michelle and TJ! They flew all the way to Hawaii for our wedding, and we had a blast going around the island with them. They got in all the shots I asked them to, and it felt more like they were part of the family/bridal party than a photographer. We LOVED the results as well! They completely captured the essence and beauty of our special day and the island of Oahu!!!! The shots were beautifully edited, so it was well worth the 3 month wait to see our shots. We were so excited to look through the album! I would highly recommend using them for your special day!

Choosing vendors for your wedding is all about setting priorities. For my husband and I selecting the right photographer was at the top of our list. We met with four different wedding photographers and ultimately chose Getz Creative. TJ & Michelle's body of work just spoke to us and our vision for our wedding day. They had such a creative and high fashion vibe to their photographs which is exactly what we wanted. They made us feel so at ease in front of the camera. We loved the way all three sessions turned out with them: bridal, engagement, and wedding. Reviewing the photos with them was always exciting and more than delivered on making us feel like our photos could be in the pages of any high fashion magazine! We will definitely use Getz Creative for future projects which is a true testimony to their work and professionalism - repeat business.

TJ and Michelle did an awesome job with our engagement, bridal, and wedding photos. We just got our wedding album back and it was better than we anticipated. Everyone in our family was impressed with the results. Their creativity was just the added touch needed to make memorable moments even more memorable. They were always willing to work around our schedule to ensure our photo sessions were just right (i.e., we loved the record album wall they created!). I had an injured leg (cast and crutches) and they were even able to work around that. We would recommend them to anyone and in fact we have recommended them to several of our friends. You can't go wrong if you choose them to photograph your special moment.

disappointed...after waiting 90 days and viewing my wedding photos, my reaction was...we paid twice what others photographers charge and waiting 3 months for that?! definitely wouldn't book them for the wedding if i could go back and redo. there was ALOT of documentation left out of the wedding, barely any editing, and poor picture choices on what they chose to "edit." the response as far as documentation was that they do creative photoraphy and i should look to the people that came to the wedding for non-creative things such as documentation. this wasn't my job to make sure the whole of the wedding was captured, i assumed for the hefty price we paid they would've covered everything yet put a creative twist on it, my fault for assuming because that sure isn't what happened. barely any pictures of the bridesmaids or group shots of the wedding party, so disappointed but there is nothing i can do to go back now. overpriced, underdocumented, nothing creative that made me go wow...nothing at all...everyone that looked at them said the same thing, so i know it's not me being overparticular. extremely disappointed, no way to capture those memories ever again. for creative sessions, they are on-point but for my experience with a wedding, definitely wouldn't do it again if i could redo it.

"Absolutely amazing," is the reaction I get after I show people my wedding album. TJ and Michelle Getz are the amazing ones! I had never been so comfortable with having my picture taken. The husband-wife business team, and all of their supportive assistants, felt as though they'd become part of the family before it was all said and done. They blended in a made me forget I was even being photographed. And when it was obvious (during the individual pictures or wedding party shots), they made me feel beautiful enough to warrant having my picture taken.

They took every aspect of our wedding and captured it from its best side. They made the guests look great, the food look delicious, and the ceremony look as filled-with-love as we felt during it. Not only did they take strong pictures, but the editing and enhancing that they did to the shots afterwards brought out the best of the day as well.

The entire Getzcreative team listened to our requests and suggestions with open minds and added their professional thoughts and ideas, which only improved on our vision of the day and pictures. They made adjustments where ever we liked, were on time with every deadline, delivered the highest quality of product, and stayed in constant communication.

In addition to all of this, the time we spent in the studio making decisions and planning, looking over products, and even just dropping off and picking up pictures, props, etc. was a blast. They are so FUN! we wanted to stay longer just to hang out with them.

I knew going into my wedding that the most important thing to me was the pictures. I wanted something out of the box. I did not want an album full of staged pictures. As soon as I met TJ and Michelle, I knew they were for the photographers for us. We did several different sessions before the wedding, which turned out amazing and more than I ever hoped for! I decided to give them full control because I knew I would get the best pictures possible. Everyone at the wedding commented on how they seemed to be every where at once. I was so excited to see the end result, which took some time but it was worth the wait. My pictures were amazing and I was able to re-live my perfect day through them, which is exactlly what I wanted. Still til this day, I get lots of praise over our wedding pictures and all the extra sessions that they did for us. They truly made my day unique with their style. I loved how easy they are to work with and all the ideas they bring to the table to help set you apart from the norm. The first thing I wanted to book once I got engaged was my photographer. The photography was the most important thing to me. Immediately after meeting with Michelle and TJ we knew we wanted them and wanted everything they offer and we have not been disappointed. They Getz Creative Team is professional, amiable, and proficient. They are incredibly creative and put so much time and effort into your sessions. I spoke with them many times leading up to each session and it paid off. I wanted a 40s theme engagement session and a Vogue themed bridal session and they were beyond anything I could have imagined. I even did a special session for my husband and he was blown away. TJ and Michelle know how to make you feel wonderful and I was always at easy around them. They made my wedding experience fantastic. The Groomsmen in my wedding even enjoyed taking pictures on the wedding day and my bridesmaids, well, some where completely bummed that they didn't know Getz when they got married and the ones that are not married raved about how awesome TJ and Michelle are and want to have them shoot their own weddings one day. You get what you pay for and you will never be disappointed by Getz Creative.

I am so thrilled with my wedding photography from Getzcreative! They captured each moment of my special day perfectly. Their creativity made each photo breathtaking and my wedding album is truly a work of art. They included so many close-up shots of the little details that were important to me, as well as capturing some fun/candid expressions from my wedding party and moments at the reception, plus all the important "sentimental" shots. I did not have a moment of stress about my pictures on the day of the wedding. TJ & Michelle were very professional and kept everything running smoothly. I recommend them to anyone!

We wanted Creative and TJ & Michelle are the only people around that has the edge!!! We have LOVED our pictures and have loved working with them. They have been so very responsive and that means so much to a bride dealing with all the details. They're no more expensive than other photographers and the result is unique pictures for YOU. Every event they shoot is different and special to the client. And, they even worked around when we had scheduling issues. They're just unbelievably talented. The only thing we miss from them is getting ALL the pictures that they take. I'm sad about that, but it's worth it to have the creative pictures. Anyone can take pictures....not anyone can make you look like a million bucks (even if you really don't!). ;)


The team at Getz Creative are incredible! They are fun and easy to work with but are also informed, professional and ready to work. They customize their photography to your personality and wedding. If you are looking for the everyday, traditional photograph- they are not for you! If you like their style, then you are guaranteed to be happy with your Engagement/wedding photos. Everyone that looked at our wedding album was astounded and said it was the best they had ever seen. Instead of getting 200 of basically the same picture from your wedding- they provide you with unique pictures that represent and beautify your day in magazine quality shots.

Cutting Edge is the word that comes to mind when I think of Getz. TJ & Michelle have always pushed the envelope of what can be done with a photo. They pay extreme attention to detail and it shows in their work.

A photographer is his own worst critic. The second would be fellow photographers. Speaking as a fellow photographer, I'm extremely critical of myself and other photographers work. But I can honestly with no doubt that I would recommend Getz Creative. Not only are they inspiring and extremely creative photographers, but they are also amazing people. They go above and beyond to exceed their clients expectations and are continually working to better themselves and their work.

I was first impressed with Getz Creative, when I saw one of their amazing engagement pics, with the bride eating a green apple, over the groom's shoulder. That was years ago, and I am continually impressed with the energy they put into their business, which is to excel at seeing the world in a different way while pleasing their brides, at the same time. Their photos are truly works of art. Whenever a bride tells me she has hired Getz Creative as her photographer, I know she will be beyond happy!

I have had the immense pleasure of working at a wedding and watching Getz Creative perform their magic on the bride and groom's dream day. I have never seen anyone's photographical work as breathtaking, enchanting, or as fulfilling as Getz Creative's photography.
