They have a beautiful location, since its in such a remote location it's really helpful that they are able to provide catering, and they have great resources for local vendors to work with on florals, cake, etc. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly! We stayed there Friday thru Sunday, and all my family had a great time! It did rain on the day, but luckily we had a good backup plan in place so I wasn't stressed. And then it cleared up right before the ceremony and they transported all of our guests down to the site. My only complaints were that in the shuffle of rain and location shifting the director forgot our programs at the reception hall, also the catering company used plastic glasses when I specifically requested all glassware. But those were probably things that only bothered me, and were not major details. I could not have asked for a better spot to get married, and would highly recommend to other brides who want an outdoor wedding in the area! It's truly a stunning and affordable choice!

Beautiful location..but it poured 40 mins prior to my wedding. The only backup plan thy knew was it would be held under the reception tent if it didn't stop raining within an hour. Well it didn't stop. When we got down to the reception tent the staff that was included in our package had not moved one single chair to make an "isle" or moved a chair that the mothers/fathers/grandparents would be able to sit in. Our groomsmen had to do it all. My background was a bright blue tarp they set up, around the whole tent were white parts of the the tent that you pulled down in case of bad wind and rain but They set us up to get married in front of the tarp and just said those sides were "messed up".. I arrived with all of the wedding party when it was time for the wedding to start because the wedding director that drove the car was no where to be found, therefore there was nothing special about my entrance that was for sure. I had 2 medium flower arrangements down at the wedding venue and while my mother asked them to be brought up to the tent when we found out the ceremony would be held there, not one of the staff brought the arrangements to the tent. As I know it was not their fault it rained...they could have made a bad situation better by having a back up plan.. Not just knowing if it rained the ceremony would be held under the tent. It was handled very unprofessional.

First, I'd like to say the bride was beautiful. Gin Creek amasses 100 acres and the Ceremony site is 1/2 mile from the Reception Tent. It rained and rained and rained. The wind blew over one of the arrangements that were beautifully set up at the Pergola located in the valley and burst the Urn the arrangement was mounted in. The Wedding Director, Sound Director, Minister, Photographers and Videographer was huddled under a 10x10 tent trying to stay dry. On two separate occasions we transported guests from the tent to the Ceremony(1/2 mile away) trying to get this Ceremony in. Both occasions we had to bring 50-100 guests back to the tent. Luckily,(unlike most venues) our Tent is HUGE! it's dimensions are 60 ft. x 120 ft.. Folks, this is massive! So, the guests were very comfortable during the two hour delay. I, as the co-owner, met with the bride and her mom on two occasions during this storm to ask what did they want to do? The first time was wait. The second time was wait. I asked that they give me their decision so we can prepare. My later notification was when I saw the whole wedding party walking in the rain to the tent announcing to the myself and the guests the wedding was going to be under the tent. Surprisingly, they started lining up to procession in while I was on the radio to the Wedding Director, Sound Director, Minister and Videographer of their decision. (Remember, they were 1/2 mile away. We had to take the time to load the Piano in the Cargo Van located on the Pergola to transport to the Tent where the Stage, Dance Floor and Reception Band were. That takes time. Meanwhile, Here comes my Rolls Royce with the Bride in it driven by an unauthorized driver! I didn't say anything because we were too busy trying to work out the logistics of relocating. Thanks to the Caterer and guests, tables and chairs were relocated for an Aisle.
We had previously put up all of our Circle head window sidewalls to block the rain. We were not expecting rain, so when it started we grabbed the Staff of Gin Creek and hung the sidewalls. The BLUE TARP belonged to the band and they put it up before we could get our sidewalls up. After we installed our sidewalls, we asked a band member to remove it, but they chose to leave it up. In the haste of being rushed by the Lead groomsmen, the BLUE TARP was not removed. (I would have thought that the photographer would have noticed that as a background and had it removed. Now, get the picture....The bride and Groom are standing on a Black/White Checkered dance floor surrounded by the Wedding Party.
Yes, the blue tarp as a background was not needed, but the Rehearsal Dinner the night before was great...The pictures before the wedding I'm sure are beautiful. The food was good and the band was excellent. I would like to think that all of it would have been perfect ( as most are we do), if it hadn't rained and rained and rained....All night! I appreciate the family choosing Gin Creek. I wish I could control the weather. And one day I'm going to teach our Wedding Director how to drive our Rolls Royce, since in our ten years of weddings she has never driven it...Maybe the unauthorized gentlemen can teach her!

Best decision ever made! Gin Creek is beautiful! We stayed at Gin Creek 3 nights (Thurs-Sun) and had a blast with the entire wedding party! We did not want to leave...wish we had stayed the week. Be sure to rent, at least, all 3 of the large cabins if not included in your package. You will be glad you did.

This location is very beautiful! The family who runs this location is great to work with and made our day truly special. They provided our catering and foliage for the event , which turned out to be wonderful and the guests loved it. We also were referred to our officiant through gin creek. They provide any referral that you may need, although not all that we worked with were as professional as gin creek. Overall, this is a breathtaking location for a wedding and it will truly make your day special.

Gin Creek was not only an amazing and beautiful venue but we could not have asked for more from the staff. They were there to attend to our every need, always so courteous and professional. The entire experience was a dream come true. Our guests stated more than once that our wedding was one of the best ever. Although I know the bride and groom had something to do with that, Gin Creek deserves all the credit. So if you are looking for a top notch venue, with the best of the best staff and a price that can't be beat, look no further than Gin Creek!

This vendor will take care of wedding site and reception site and will also take care of catering. They will provide wedding set up and break down and clean up. They will also provide accomodations the night before and night of the wedding. We went out to visit and I was so excited because we were given a full tour before another wedding was to happen so that we could see it set up. The Demott brothers were so laid back and stress free! Im absolutely excited to be having my wedding at Gin Creek.

Gin Creek was the perfect place for my husband and me to get married at. The location is absolutely gorgeous, and the pictures are the proof. They provided us with so many options in reference to ceremony and reception. Richie and Doug were truly wonderful in helping us plan our wedding even to the very last minute. They are very flexible and will go the extra mile to make sure everything runs smooth.

Gin Creek is a beautiful place to have a wedding and/or reception. They have everything there is to offer at one place. The staff is so friendly and great at what they do. It is kind of costly, but well worth it!
We were able to shoot a wedding at this great venue! The staff at this venue went out of there way to accommodate us with sound connections for our video and anything else we stood in need of. As a Photographer and Cinematographer we couldn't ask for more from a venue. We highly recommend this venue for brides wanting a beautiful setting for their wedding.
All of my interactions with Gin Creek have been pleasant and very professional. In addition to having a beautiful venue, they have a great staff to make sure your wedding is perfect! I look forward to working with Gin Creek again in the near future.
Gin Creek is one of the most beautiful wedding venues I've photographed, and they offer a true Southern wedding experience for discriminating brides. I've shot many events at Gin Creek, and it is always a pleasure to capture the beauty of this venue in photos. Richie, Doug, and all their staff do an amazing job of managing the events there, and are always professional and pleasant to work with. Gin Creek is truly a unique location, and brides everywhere should look carefully at this venue as a premier place for their wedding. And, they've just opened their beautiful new Vineyard location, as an alternate wedding spot. Check them out, and be sure you tell them Steve Corbett Photography sent you!
Gin Creek is one of those site you must see to believe. They have thought of everything a bride could wish for on her wedding day - so worth the drive.
