Glasbern

The Glasbern is an absolutely amazing and unique venue. We were looking for a large B&B outdoor wedding site so we could have all of our out of town guests staying on site. This was the first place that we had checked out and fell in love. The ceremony site is beautiful and the reception area is well layed out. We ate at the restaurant several times and the food was delicious, although the banquet food wasn't as delicious as what we had at the restaurant but still well above average. Despite a couple glitches with communication in the beginning, the day went extremely smoothly thanks to Terry and everyone can't stop talking about how special the venue was. All my guests kept asking how I could have possibly found this place and many plan to return for vacation!

We got married at the Glasbern Inn on September 18, 2010. I came across it looking for an outdoor, natural place. We also were drawn to them because they are a sustainable farm and serve local food.

The coordinators we worked with were helpful but sometimes unreliable and not responsive. Regardless of that fact, when everything mattered our wedding was AMAZING! The place is absolutely gorgeous and the staff was wonderful. We had the most perfect day we could have imagined. For the cost, it is beyond worth it - plus, you actually get delicious food from right on the property!

The grounds and facilities of the Glasbern Inn are beautiful and well-maintained. Unfortunately, it rained torrents on our wedding day, so ended up squishing 135 people into a steamy meeting room. Very cozy for August! The planners are there to oversee the entire event from start to finish on the day of your wedding: Gary was so easy to work with; Terry, while a bit salty at times during the planning stages, was worth her wait in gold on the wedding day. She was great and was very attentive. The best part was that our friends and family could all stay at the inn and continue the celebration into the night without disturbing anyone, and then we all had breakfast the next day as part of the room rate. The Gasbern is a wonderful place to hold an outdoor wedding in spring/summer or a smaller indoor wedding in winter.

We chose Glasbern for the beauty of the grounds. We loved it as soon as we stepped foot on the property. With that being said, the planner(s) we worked with were also horrible. We started with one planner who left a few months after working with him. We were never informed that he left and that someone else would be taking over until I e-mailed him and I received an automated response that said he was no longer with the compaany. The second lady wound up leaving Glasbern a month and 1/2 into her term. The last lady did a good job at making monthly appointments via conference call and was more responsive than the other two we worked with. The day of our wedding (as well as the meeting just prior to the wedding) she was a bit frazzeled/scatter brained. The food was amazing, the ground are rustic and beautiful, the rooms/bride and groom suite are wonderful, but the wedding coordinator needs some work. Overall, i would recommend Glasbern to a cautious bride and groom the beauty speaks for itself.

Beautiful place to have a wedding and the food is great but the planner is absolutely horrible to work with. The planner is an important in the whole planning process and he made every step as difficult as it could be, from what we wanted to pricing. I would recommend this place if they have a different planner.

The Glasbern is an amazing venue. It lends itself to telling of the story of your wedding!

The best venue in the Lehigh Valley for a wedding!

Glasbern is consistently one of our favorite places to work each year - DJ or Photography. The setting is amazing and always promises for great photos, the food is unbelievable, the staff is friendly... and the parties are always great - inside or outside. We always look forward to every event we do here.
