Planning my Clayton wedding was difficult; I was living in Honolulu and had to research all of my vendors on the internet. Needless to say this was difficult because of the time difference and the fact that some businesses didn't check their emails....then I found Kelly at the Glass Slipper Gourmet.
She IMMEDIATLEY emailed me back with quotes, suggestions, and even various meeting times. I emailed her a couple of pics of cakes I liked, along with my wedding "flower" (dusty miller), and she combined them all. Very cool.
When I met Kelly for a testing she brought like 20 different flavor combos. I was fat and happy by the time it was over - her cakes were top notch! She was also so fun and likeable; she didn't rush the meeting, offered suggestions, LISTENED, and even sketched out a rough draft. The price was only about $150 more than Safeway! For Fondant! Jeesh, why on earth would you go anywhere else??
Kelly was my favorite vendor, and honestly, when I look back on my wedding planning, she is the first person I think of. BTW, of all the decorations and vendors at my wedding, the cake got the best reviews. Perfect :)

Kelly with Glass Slipper Gourmet was wonderful to work with. The experience started with a fun cake tasting which allowed my husband and me to choose from almost 20 different flavors of cake! My husband chose a lovely, white cake with chocolate, raspberry, almond and cream filling. Kelly helped us design the cake of our dreams and produced a virtual image of the cake which gave us a good idea of how it would look.

On the actual wedding day the cake was more beautiful than I could have imagined! We loved the cake and so did all of our guests. I was told by several guests that it was the best wedding cake they have tasted. We agree!

Not only was the final product wonderful, Kelly was very easy to work with. She was very professional and reliable. If you're searching for a cake maker look no further.

The cake Kelly made for our wedding was absolutely gorgeous! From day one, she was friendly, helpful and even assisted my husband and I to create a cake that incorporated both our ideas. Not only did she create a beautiful cake, it was absolutely delicious! Many of our guests wanted more and even took some home. I highly recommend Kelly. Kelly makes the most gorgeous cakes!! Kelly came out to our home with a ton of different cake flavors that were all amazing it was hard to choose! Kelly listened to what I wanted and just after a few minutes drew up the cake design of my dreams. She is so nice and extremely easy to work with.
On my wedding day I think I was most excited to see the cake and it turned out to be more beautiful than I had even expected. Everyone loved it. People kept coming up to me during the wedding and asking "Who made your cake!!??" I think the cake got more compliments than I did!! =) It tasted delicous too, people kept going back for seconds and even thirds!

Kelly was the first cake vendor we met with... and after the first 10 minutes of speaking w/ her, my husband and I knew that we didn't want to meet w/ any other cake vendors. Kelly is very professional, organized and very easy to work with! She incorporated all our ideas for our wedding cake, and we were very happy with the result.

My husband and I love the Cake that Kelly made for our wedding! I can't say enough good things about Kelly! Not only was my wedding cake absolutely gorgeous, it was the best tasting cake I have ever had! I had so many compliments on my wedding cake and most guests ate more than one piece! After the wedding I was craving more of Kelly's cake, so I ordered a custom cake for my mom's 50th birthday. It turned out amazing as well. I am convinced that Kelly can create any cake you want. I can't imagine any way I could be MORE happy with the service provided to us by Glass Slipper Gourmet. Kelly was friendly, funny, and a dream to work with. The only thing nicer than her was the amazing cake she made us. It was so good that even our year-old top tier was so heavenly we couldn't stop eating it.

Kelly worked hard to make us the perfect cake, even working to match fondant ribbon colors exactly to a paper sample from our invite (complete with shimmer). The cake was as gorgeous as it was delicious.

The wedding was beautiful. And the cake was simply gorgeous! You would not believe the amount of compliments we got about it. People were astounded by how beautiful the cake was!! It was also VERY delicious. Thank you so much!
