What a perfect getaway for an alternative bachelorette party! Nestled in the mountains, this spa is a nice retreat from busy LA. In addition to the facials and massages, it has jacuzzis with natural mineral water, a salt water tub, numerous pools, a steam room, Roman bath, and an area where you can slather on some red clay mud that makes your skin incredibly soft. I've spent a whole day here with the girls and I can see that it would be a great relaxer for the bride, the bridesmaids, and friends.

I highly recommend glen ivy for a WEEKDAY bachelorette party or a WEEKDAY pre wedding get away. The setting is very relaxing on weekdays and there are no big loud groups as you would normally find on weekends. It is very budget friendly if you purchase a day pass giving you access to the large variety of soaking pools, mineral baths, mud baths.... There is a small cafe with affordable lunch, they even offer champagne which is hard to find at a day spa. Compared to other day spas there is a lot of room to hang out with the girls they offer lots of lounge chairs for sunning and shallow pools for wading. Weekends are busy and not very peaceful it is also hard to get treatments if not booked far in advance on the weekends.

If you are planning to have a Bachelorette Spa Day, I would totally recommend Glen Ivy in Corona. It's outdoors so you don't have to worry about being too noisy and it's just a great setting for a group. It's also good if your girls are on a budget because you just pay one flat admission fee and you have access to the mud bath, mineral springs, and jacuzzis. So you don't have to worry about girls feeling left out because they can't afford a treatment.

Just keep in mind that it is outdoors. My Bachelorette Party was originally planned at Glen Ivy but it was March and it was cancelled because of rain.

Even though Glen Ivy has several locations, the one in Corona is the only one like this.

I would agree with the poster below. This place was crowded and loud. Definitely not a serene experience you think you would have at a spa. The massage and facial was nice but the overall experience of being on the grounds at the spa is where they fall short imo.

I had my bachelorette at Glen Ivy and actually, would recommend against it but I think I'm in the minority. I've never been to Glen Ivy and was expecting a soothing, girly retreat. Instead, it was PACKED. Filled with noisy, rowdy groups. We couldn't find an area for us girls to sit together. We didn't get a spa to ourselves until it was almost 5pm, when everyone else was getting ready to leave. Then when we went into the ladies room, it was a HUGE mess. Considering we had to pay $ on top of our massage to get "access" to the spa, saunas, gym, etc, I expected much much more.

The only good thing I can say is that the massage was very nice.

A month later, my friend took me to the spa at the Century City Hyatt and I LOVED it. Would've preferred to have my bachelorette there. Sadly, I just read in the WSJ that it's being changed into an Equinox gym.
