Gloucester Weddings

Rick was suggested to me by my venue, The Commons 1854. I'm so happy that I decided to go with their suggestion. Rick was extremely flexible. My schedule is super tight the first few months of the year and he even offered to Skype if I couldn't get there to meet him in person. He gave us a lovely packet in order to customize our ceremony and it couldn't have worked out better. He was a calming presence during both the rehearsal and the cermony itself. I received a ton of compliments on our ceremony and I owe it all to Rick!

He was so supportive with everything from help finding a gorgeous location to be of assistance giving the information we needed for our marriage license. The ceremony was more heart-felt than I could have ever dreamed. If you are looking for an extraordinary person to officiate your ceremony, look no further!

I highly recommend Rick Perry of Gloucester Weddings. We wanted a brief, informal, non-religious, outdoor winter wedding. Rick understood and provided exactly what we had envisioned. Rick was professional, warm, and clear in all our communications prior to the ceremony. He sincerely wanted to make us happy and meet our needs, and did so perfectly. During the ceremony, Rick interacted well with the young children who were our Flower Girl and Ring Bearer, as they were a bit nervous. That really touched me. Rick was very "present" and engaged at the ceremony, but was not at all intrusive. Rick was a joy. (And his cost was very reasonable.) I can't imagine any Officiant being more perfect for our wedding.

Rick was great. He helped both me and my husband to create our own vows, making our ceremony even more special. Any questions we e-mailed, he had a timely answer. We were able to have the small, intimate outdoor ceremony which was a little less formal, going with our style and the mood we wanted perfectly. From our first meeting to the actual ceremony itself, it was a pleasure to work with Rick. We were worried about finding an officiant for our wedding in such a short amount of time and to find someone who was so professional about creating the ceremony was a great experience. We felt prepared and comfortable walking into the ceremony as Rick had worked with us through email to create our perfect ceremony and even rehearsed it with us the day before the wedding. We greatly appreciated Rick's organization and quick responses to email when questions came about. Most importantly, family and friends who attended the wedding said it was one of the most meaningful ceremonies they had ever attended. Needless to say, the ceremony was meaningful to us as it incorporated all of the personal elements we had asked Rick to include. We cannot thank Rick enough for being our officiant. Rick Perry was the PERFECT Officiant for our wedding and I am incredible thankful to have found him and have him as a part of our day. I as this because he provides FULL service ceremony guidance from the first steps if talking out what you think you want to writing and editing, and of course rehearsal and then the ceremony itself. Rick really caters to what the couple feels best relates to them. He is open, honest, kind, and takes his time to hear you and respond to your needs.
I can say with total conviction the Rick saved my wedding... he worked with us to develop the perfect ceremony and even trained a friend of mine to do the ceremony itself ion the day as this is what we wanted - however when my friend had to pull out two days before the wedding Rick was right there talking me down from the ledge and offering his services for the day. The ceremony went off with out a hitch! I will be eternally grateful to him and his entire family - which also offer wonderful wedding related services such as DJ and planning. I would HIGHLY recommend them all!!

Rick is a sweetheart. From first meeting, I knew he'd be terrific.

He sent us an electronic file of example ceremonies. My man and I proceeded to cut, paste, and edit what we liked from this file to create our very own vows.

We wanted a ten minute beach ceremony, and that's exactly what we got. He was affordable, timely and professional. He was also cheesy...which was just perfect.

Richard Perry was perfect!!! My husband and I had full control of choosing what we wanted in our ceremony with guidance from Richard! He performed the ceremony flawlessly and we were extremely happy with him!
