Gold Star

The food at the restaurant itself was delicious, however, the catering order did not meet my expectations. Throughout the entire process, they made me come into the restaurant a couple of times, and the owner, who was the person that I dealt with, was not even present. The owner barely spoke any English, and barely understood English as well. It was extremely hard to deal with him. I asked for the food to be spicy, and the day of my wedding reception, the food was not spicy at all.

On the day of the wedding reception, he was supposed to be on time, and have everything ready. Instead he came a little late, and by the time my guests had arrived, the appetizers were not even out. Also, I wanted my desserts out the same time the dinner buffet was going, and once again, that was not placed out either. I was also told by the hotel that I had my event at, that he was taking his time to do all of the work, instead of being prompt and fast.

The man was extremely nice in person, however, the service that I received certainly did not meet my expectations. I would recommend Gold Star as a good restaurant to go have a meal at, however, I would not recommend them for catering orders. Overall, I would give Gold Star a two star rating.
