I absolutely loved working with Got You Covered! They really made everything super easy on me especially since my husband and I were planning our wedding all the way from GA. We absolutely LOVED Rob!! He made my dreams a reality during our ceremony, and made our wedding so much fun during our reception. I REALLY loved that he basically took charge and made it his personal quest to make our night perfect. I'll be honest that a few weeks before the wedding I kept having these nightmares that I just missed EVERYTHING at my wedding. I even had one where we didn't even get to the cake cutting. LOL... But none of that became a reality with Rob. He made sure we enjoyed all our special moments and NOTHING felt rushed. I honestly couldn't thank the whole Got You Covered! family enough...

From the music at our ceramony to the reception everything was over what we asked for! Eric get our party started at the reception and it never stopped :) we even got a CD with our wedding songs on it. Thank you so much for being such a big part of our day! Got You Covered is HIGHLY recommended!!!

We were fortunate enough to have Eric as our DJ for our rather untraditional wedding. When we came to him with the idea of a themed wedding ceremony, he was not only supportive but excited to play Social D for us! Certainly not how all DJ's would react.
We had the additional photobooth added on to our DJ set up and it was AMAZING! Our photo book from it has provided tons of memories we will have for years to come.

Eric was GREAT!! We were so happy with him leading up to our wedding and the night of our wedding. He was very on top of everything from making sure we had specific songs for the whole night to making sure (and double checking) he pronounced everyone's name correctly. Rob was AWESOME! We are thrilled with his contribution to making our wedding celebration perfect. Rob was one of the first people to greet me at our venue day-of, saying hi and making sure I was taken care of. He checked on us throughout the night, checking with us to see if it was okay to modify the plan we had in order to keep the event moving along and the guests engaged. He even checked with us throughout the night to make sure we had drinks in our hands, and see if there was anything else he could do.

Rob was our partner in creating a night that was FUN and flexible. We met with a few DJs before finding GotYouCovered, and they were the first team that made us feel like they had our event structured in a way that made it feel totally under control, yet not super structured. Thank you, Rob and the entire team (Eric, Paige, etc.) at GotYouCovered! Our wedding was a perfect celebration and a super fun party.

Our DJ, Paul, was extraordinary. He was friendly, professional, responsive to all of our questions and requests, had a wonderful, warm presence the night of our reception and kept everyone dancing to their favorite music. Can't thank him enough for such an amazing party!

It was a pleasure working with Eric! He made our wedding night very special for us and our guest. Oscar was incredible! He really took the party to a whole new level! He took the time to meet with us on multiple occasions. He even stayed for a meeting we had with our wedding coordinator after....a total of 2.5 hours after our meeting! He really cares to make it the night you want. Took so much weight off our shoulders knowing DJ Oscar had the night covered after our Coordinator left. We never noticed a transition! He did a great job all day with mixing with various musicians! DJ Oscar did a great job for our wedding on 10/15/11. He met with us before to discuss what we type of music we wanted to hear and didn't want to hear at the wedding. He got a feel for us and offered different ideas that we could incorporate into our wedding. He also paid attention to our guests and what they were dancing too. He kept everyone dancing all night. He made our reception so much fun and memorable.

We had a blast at our wedding and we can't thank our DJ Oscar enough for making our event fun! Oscar listened to our requests and really got to know our style. We would not have changed a thing!

Oscar was amazing. From the first to the last meeting, he has great energy and really helped us create an awesome wedding soundtrack. He keeps the crowd moving and dancing. Last minute we had to move the ceremony inside and he gave us some beautiful lighting. This guy is amazing to work with and kept the party going.

Got you covered was fantastic! We had a slight snafu while booking them but they more than made up for it in quality of service. DJ Rob did a great job of getting/keeping the party going. He really understood our musical personalities for both the ceremony and reception. He really listened to what we wanted and helped us translate that into a great night. I had guests walking up to me half way through the reception telling me how great of a job he was doing!
We also rented the photo/video booth...the greatest thing ever! Everyone had so much fun with the hats and wigs. Really were some of the best pics we got of the guests! And the video messages that people left us our priceless. They even had brought a little photo album and encouraged the guests to paste in their pics and write us messages. Something I hadn't thought of that they provided and I'm so grateful for it!
Plus we got to take home the pictures and videos that night on a flash drive so I got to post those on Facebook instantly for guests to see everyone being silly!

Larry Mac was absolutely incredible for our wedding. He saved the day when our cocktail hour music fell through two hours before the ceremony and was always making sure the evening went exactly as planned.
From the ceremony all the way to the last dance, Larry was on top of everything and kept the day flowing.
He kept the dance floor full through the whole reception while making sure everyone had fun and got some of their music played. Thank you Larry for making our reception a party for all our guests to remember.

Our DJ from this company was John White and simply put the best part of our wedding. He is the nicest guy and most awesome DJ. He kept the night so full of energy and fun. Everyone from kids to grandparents loved the music he played. He was super sweet and let knew what you wanted to happen all night. He made the night truly wonderful. He even suprised us when we were opening presents later on with a cd of all the special songs we selected for the night. PLEASE request him you will not regret it!!!

Richard Steele for Got You Covered was absolutely amazing!!!!! Richard- you were a huge part of our special day, and made it perfect. You did such a great job! We have a lot of people who LOVE to dance, and you had the perfect way of keeping the party going! We were married 11/20/2010. Oscar was an AMAZING DJ. I could not have asked for a better DJ. When we first met with him we knew right off the bat he was the one. He responed promptly to all emails. One important aspect of the reception is the DJ. They make the party happen. We loved Got You Covered music. Paul was our DJ and he was amazing! When we first met Oscar it was a sealed deal. My husband loved him and so did my wedding planner and myself.
Oscar far exceeded our expectation and I keep hearing about DJ OSCAR and his great skills from our guests. The things he suggested for the wedding went off without a hitch and EVERYONE loved them. People were asking me if he worked with the Country Club, because he was involved and had everything perfectly planned out, which I explained no, he is the DJ we hired on our own!
He actually played (DJ) a little longer than expected because of how much fun everyone was having! It was awesome.
Out of all of the vendors we used, Oscar blew them out of the water. He was so amazing. I can’t begin to explain how much fun we had DUE to him. I can't even think what it would have been like without him! My dj, Kregg, was awesome!! He worked with us on every single piece that we asked. His timing during the ceremony was impeccable, the reception was a huge hit! Kregg did everything my husband and I asked. He played everything we asked for and everything we asked not to happen didn't. My husband and I have similar likes in music but a lot of differences too; our dj did a great job mixing the genres. Every person I know who needs a dj will be referred to Got you covered music!! Ask about there photo montage service too; all our guests want a copy of ours!

From the Ceremony, to the Grand Entrance, to the buffet & Party time Eric kept everything going so smoothly with us not having to worry about a thing... I actually work at the venue that we had our wedding at. I met Eric at a wedding he DJ'd at our venue. After seeing him in action first hand, I was impressed. A lot of DJ's come in and appear unprepared. Eric wowed me so much with how on top of everything he was, and how much he kept organized, that I knew immediately who our DJ would be. Fast forward about 8 months, to our wedding day, and I had not one concern as to how his services would turn out. The biggest thing for us was that he seemed to "get us" as a couple, and as individuals. The music was perfect, the flow was great, and I could not recommend him any higher than I do now. (As a side note, I have met a few of his other DJ's, and they have all been equally as exceptional to work with at our venue. If your vendors work seamlessly together, your wedding goes that much smoother.)

Rob did a great job as our DJ. Our venue was a botanical gardens and loud, crazy music for a dance party was not part of our wedding. I was impressed by how well he read the crowd. When people were hanging out and mingling, he played slower/low key music. When people were ready to dance, he played more up beat music.
Pat was in charge of our ceremony music, we had a violin and cello. I really wanted to have the Jurassic Park theme as our recessional and she was able to put together the music and make it happen! I know she went above and beyond to do that for me and I really appreciate it!
Jacob Tyler Lucas played during the cocktail hour. My biggest disappointment with the music was that my husband and I did not get to hear him play! Our guests all told us later that he did a great job and they enjoyed the live music.
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Got You Covered. Everyone we worked with was fantastic and they all gave me the impression that they love what they do!

We were very lucky to have had Richard Steele as our DJ for our 3/5/11 wedding. From the get-go, Richard was attentive to our needs and responsive: he constantly touched base and was always ready to meet whenever at our convenience.

I am a mom from Michigan whom had her mom plan her wedding in PHOENIX!! THE most important details needed for a wedding is the FOOD and DJ. SHE SELECTED the two best people for her wedding. ERIC was one and her caterer was "put a Fork in it". Hire them and your wedding will be a success.

Eric, you did an amazing job helping us feel comfortable with how he reception was going to go. During the wedding prep we were able to concentrate on the ceremony and didn't have to worry one bit about the reception. Having been to a myriad other weddings, we knew that the DJ could make or break the reception. From our first meeting we knew that we could count on you to make the reception AMAZING - and you did it. You treated the reception as a live animal, tailoring everything you did to how it was acting and being flexible with unexpected changes (like the projector for the slide show). You kept it Christ Centered and helped make it the perfect wedding reception. Thank you.

Eric provided a really unique experience for us as our DJ and Emcee! He had everyone on the dance floor (including my grandma who had knee surgery last year ;)! He accommodated all of our unique songs and requests. My dad is a singer and my brother an instrumentalist and they had recorded a special surprise song for the father/daughter dance. Eric made it happen! It was our pleasure to work with him-you will have a wedding you'l never forget! Our friends and family are still talking about our awesome DJ!

Got You Covered streamlines the wedding day. I had no idea what the timeline was going to look like until our DJ, Eric Hampton, helped us work through it. He was professional, called when he said he would, and kept me informed during my wedding day so that it ran smoothly and the guests were not bored. Since then I have had further requests for his phone number and everyone complimented on his ablility to involve the crowd and keep the party going strong.

I only rated his flexibility a 4 star because I was not able to finish greeting my guests during the dinner. I was pressured to start the Father of the bride speech, leading into the Father-Daughter dance, but I had 4 tables left to greet. I know I had a big wedding, but I think it's important to have waited the extra 20 minutes or so to finish thanking my guests, than to stay on the timeline.

The one thing that he could have done differently is get the sheet music himself and not ask me for it. I had specific music for the ceremony so I went online to look for it. When I searched the web, I didn't know what to look for, couldn't find the music and the websites were confusing. I don't read music so it was difficult to understand what I was purchasing. Finally, I decided to have him look for it and send me the bill. Other than that, he played the music beautifully and everyone enjoyed his music at the ceremony.

Our DJ Paul got rave reviews! Even my dad who is hard to please raved about him even weeks later. I interviewed 3 DJ companies before going with GYC and I'm really glad I did! They were a preferred vendor at our venue and have done weddings for a long time and have an established reputation. They knew exactly the right mix of songs to play to keep all generations and crowds happy. Very happy with our services!

Eric was the first person we talked to at the wedding convention, and we new we would use him as soon as we did. At the first meeting, he gave us several pages of songs to choose from, and a great list of songs we might want to have ready. We were given great summer discounts, and plenty of time and methods to pay for the services. Every email and phone message was replied to in less than 36 hours, and on the day before and the day of the wedding, Eric was essentially at our disposal.
Our wedding went completely smoothly including the special music by friends of ours. Eric also was the person that orchestrated the order of the reception, and on the microphone helping everything run smoothly from the start to the finish. Several people complimented me since the wedding on our songs and how everything flowed, and I would recommend Eric to anyone!
We never once had a complaint or even a second thought about Eric as our DJ and given the chance, I would highly recommend Eric to anyone I could.

We reserved the string trio for our ceremony, mariachis for the cocktail hour, and Oscar as our DJ for the dinner and reception. My husband & I met with Eric originally and loved the energy from him. He was friendly with helpful suggestions and referred us to Paul. I had difficulties reaching Paul, but he reassured me everything was fine and met with us. He was also very nice, good ideas and we gave him our song lists and agreed to keep in touch. I sent him more song ideas and we loved the idea of texting song requests. My only complaints about the DJ was that our Recessional march song was not played and then I was asked later what song it was and told I never responded to an email asking about it, which was not true. This disappointed us and was awkward but luckily I had friends playing instruments who were able to start playing to help. I certainly didn't let that ruin my day/night because I was so happy, but there were a couple more songs that were screwed up: my flower toss song was changed and our last dance song. Not as big of a deal and I'm laid back so I just went with it, but wondered why I went thru all those songs and selected for nothing. Anyway, Paul was very energetic, he got everyone out of their seat and on the dance floor. Everyone had a great time and felt the energy, it was good to see grandparents in their 80s dancing with us and the younger crowd enjoyed it too. Paul was very fun & funny and had a great personality that made him likable to all. Our introductions were so much fun and he did a GREAT job! My husband & I, along with groomsmen & bridesmaids danced the ENTIRE night and just had a blast!!! Everyone told me later this was the most fun they have had at a wedding.

we were treated to a fantastic performance. It is difficult to choose a wedding band but once we'd seen these guys in action we knew who we wanted. The band learnt a special first dance for us (with very little notice!) and even let one of our guitarist friends get up and jam with them! The dancefloor was full all night and our guests are still talking about what a fabulous band they were.

We really enjoyed working with Eric and great at keeping the night and activities moving without seeming like we were on a time schedule.

We had DJ Carlos for our wedding DJ. Carlos was a great DJ that kept people on the floor all night with his selection of music. Carlos was not a very good MC though. Most of our guests, and the coordinator at our venue commented that they didn't even know when the special events were taking place. We also told Carlos that we had a choreographed first dance and to only start the music after Dan gave him a "signal". We told him this when we met in person the first time, reminded him in an email, and then reminded him again prior to our grand entrance. He still began our music before we were on the floor and the "signal" was given. Our guests did not notice, and the dance turned out fine, but it was a little disappointing to not get the whole thing in. There were a couple of other things that we had wanted to be announced to our guests, and Carlos refused to do so even after our venue Coordinator spoke to him several times about it. He also had to be asked multiple times to tone down the music during cocktail hour. Overall, we still had a great time and our guests danced the night away.

We spent the extra money to hire Eric for our reception because we thought we were getting the best. There is no doubt he is good at what he does but I can tell you that we did not get what we expected out of him. He is very good at typical wedding reception however, that is NOT what we wanted. We had a special introduction planned that he messed up. He messed up our first dance (I had to ask my new husband what our song was because Eric did not follow the directions my husband gave him on our first dance). He wanted to run it like a traditional reception and we explicity told him that is not what we wanted. If you want a traditional wedding DJ he would be excellent but if you want something else you might want to look for someone else that is more flexible.

I wish that I had something good to say. I was sold on the “perfect” DJ for my day and told we would talk 8 weeks out. 7 weeks out, I had to contact the owner, Eric and remind him that my wedding was in 7 weeks. It turns out that my DJ was out of the state for a while and wasn’t going to return to AZ until the week before my wedding. I had a great conversation with him on the phone and anxiously awaited for him to get back to AZ so we could meet. The week of my wedding, I received a call from Eric, that my DJ would NOT be back in time for my wedding … so he was “DOING ME A FAVOR” and “UPGRADING” me to a BETTER DJ. What was he sending me before? A “C” list DJ? WE met our DJ the day before our wedding, went over everything, including our DO NOT PLAY list. During that meeting, the DJ asked if we would mind ending our reception 15 minutes early, b/c Eric double booked him and he had another wedding to get to. REALLY?! Our special day arrived, everything was going great, the DJ was good … then the music played and there were 2 songs that were on our DO NOT PLAY LIST!

The only part of my wedding that sucked. Mic/sound system kept cutting in and out during our ceremony and nuptials and when I say kept I mean it continued throughout the entire ceremony which was very disappointing to say the least. Also, Eric did not play very many of the songs that I requested be played before any requests were taken by guests and when I confronted him about it multiple times he just ignored me. I understand that Got You Covered has a high overall rating and that mistakes do happen but I expected more especially for the $1500 my now husband and I payed to make our day special. I would not recommend them based on my experience. Got you covered didn't just slip up here in there, they completely tanked.

Got You Covered is fantastic! I've worked with them for years and my clients are always delighted and have amazing parties. Eric and his DJ's do a fantastic job of connecting to what they want and giving them that through music and entertainment for their celebrations. You will not be disappointed using Got You Covered for your entertainment for your special day.
