I loved my dress, however I wish I had paid better attention to the alterations. It ended up that they had left one of the shoulders of my dress bigger than the other.

All growing up I had always said I would NEVER rent my wedding dress but after trying on dresses at Gowns by Pamela I immediately changed my mind. They tried on dress after dress with me until I found the perfect one!! I loved it right away!! They had so many different styles to choose from and helped me to create such an amazing, gorgeous dress! I truely felt like a beautiful princess on my bnig day!

They fit the dresses to you. Rent or purchase. You get to choose and design your own combination. BEAUTIFUL dresses for a fraction of the cost of other bridal shops.

I am thrilled with the service I have received so far by this company. I feel that their prices are very fair. I found the dress I loved there and the best part is that I don't have to keep it hanging in my closet for the rest of my life. Included are the alterations, cleaning, slip, skirt and top, winter cloak, tiara, and veil. Plus I am keeping it for 10 days! Much cheaper than buying all of those pieces!

I rented my dress from Gowns By Pamela and am pretty happy that I did. It did cost me more than I thought it was worth in the end - but it wasn't outrageous. The girl i worked with was very nice and not at all pushy. My only complaint was that they didn't hem or fit the dress until the day I was picking it up to take it to my wedding and when they were finished the sleeves looked very different than they did before and I didnt like it. It was too late for me to find another dress and I had already paid them for it. They pretty much told me "oh its too bad you don't like it" and packed it up for me anyways. So there is a draw back to not being able to have a dress fit specifically for you before hand. It turned out fine though, other things were more important. They did have a LOT of different style to pick from which is good if you really aren't sure what you want. I would suggest at least trying on the different styles with them.

They worked with me until I found what I loved... which took a long time. They were also very flexible about shipping the dress to Texas where I got married. The dress fit perfectly and at the reception everyone kept asking me if I had it made.

I loved this service! I wanted to rent my wedding dress but was not sure I would find a dress that was perfect for me. I did at Pamelas. They were great! And I absolutely loved my dress.

Gowns by Pamela is a store that allows you to rent a wedding dress instead of buying one. You can buy their dresses, but they are "designer" dresses and so they are really expensive to purchase. This type of dress rental service is probably best for people that are getting married in Utah. It probably cost me as much to rent a dress as it would have to buy one because I needed it for a longer period of time. But, I couldn't find another dress I liked as much anywhere else. It's worth checking out, but shop around at a lot of different places to make sure you know what is out there.

I loved this place because they had such a wide selection, nobody would ever be able to tell I had a two piece dress:and they custom made my sleeves so I would be able to move my arms more freely, they were gorgeous:Things I really liked about this place was:-you could buy or rent the dress (cost effective)-you could make your own dress-they did the final fitting the day you picked it up so you know it fits perfectly-the seamstress is there to fix anything right away and alterations are included in your packageNegatives were:-they weren't up front about extra charges (I rented my dress and they charged me to take it out early and for a cleaning I didn't know wasn't included)-some of the people who worked there got on my nervesOver all though I think it was worth it to have my wedding dress the way I wanted it.

Pamela's was great to work with. And the best part was you could mix and match tons of dresses! It was also nice that they had the option to rent any of their dresses if you didn't want to purchase it.

I loved my wedding dress! The employees at Gowns By Pamela helped me try on several different styles of skirts, sleeves, and bodices to help me find which style I liked the most. They were very nice and very knowledgable. They listened to exactly what I wanted and helped me build a gown to fit my style. I also loved that they had some larger sizes of dresses available. My dress turned out beautifully and I loved wearing it. I almost wish that I had been able to buy it, but renting was a more affordable and wiser option for me. I highly recommend Gowns By Pamela.

They are a bit pushy in getting you to sign an agreement to make sure that your dress is on hold for you. I did that and then decided that I wanted to own my dress and not just rent...they wouldn't let me use my $100 deposit toward the rental of a corset or toward anything else in the store. Money lost. Make sure that you don't sign anything even though they scare you into thinking that you won't find any other dress that fits you as 'perfectly'. They also made it sound like there was only a few of each size, and the one I had initially tried on hadn't been rented much yet and was in great condition. When I had a followup fitting, the dress they pulled out for me wasn't nearly as nice as the one I initially tried on. I recommend going there to try on the dresses if you aren't sure of what you want yet or what would look good on you - they have a good selection of different styles of tops and skirts so you can see what really works for you.

This was the funnest part of preparing for the wedding. I got to go in my own room and try on as many dresses as I wanted. Once I had deposited money on "the dress, they let me take pictures. They sized it, and resized the dress. They were flexible with my timing, and they made me feel like a princess. There were so many options, and I absolutely loved it! Thanks!

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I can't stress enough how much I luv this place. I recommend it to everyone I know who is getting married. I had to set an appointment, which threw me a little, but when I arrived... wow! I told the woman what I was looking for, she walked downstairs and came up with MY dress! Incredible! They are so helpful and so willing to help me with exactly what I want. I put it on and my best friend's jaw dropped. That's it! She was as excited as I was. I was on the fence about renting, but it was the best decision I made in my entire wedding planning (2nd next to the groom!).

They offered accessories, changed out the sleeves/ribbon for me, and made sure it was absolutely perfect. The woman doing my alterations was incredible! I had a wonderful time with her and she made me feel so comfortable.

I still have people complimenting my dress from my photos. I love that dress and I feel like Pam designed it with me in mind. I give them aces, gold stars, A+'s and thumbs up across the board. I love Gowns by Pamela!!!
