Patricia did beautiful work for my wedding. My flowers turned out perfect and just how I imagined. I found Patricia and her company Graceful Flowers on the recommended vendors list my venue (Regency at Dominion Valley) gave me. I met with Patricia and I knew instantly we would use her for our wedding flowers. She was the only florist I met with and talked to! For our consultation (which was free!) my Mom and I met with Patricia at her beautiful home. We spent about 2 hours picking out each flower in every bouquet and center-piece. The entire time she new we were working on a budget, and she definitely worked with us on that! I could not imagine how beautiful my flowers turned out on my wedding day. Patricia did beautiful work and I was so happy with how everything turned out!

Wow! I can't say enough about Patricia's work for our wedding. She was so incredibly flexible and easy to work with. She actually spends time on her initial consultation and we spoke for over 2 hours about every little detail that I wanted in my flowers! She takes her time and really puts her heart into making your wedding dream come true.

When I first came to Patricia, I had a vision of what I wanted the wedding flowers to look like..earthy, yet elegant, rustic and whimsical. She nailed it. She had books upon books of beautiful arrangements that she let me look through and my mom and I had such a great time with her figuring out all the details. I took her advice on so many things since she has such amazing ideas and can execute them perfectly. The number one thing I appreciated most about Patricia was her dedication and attention to detail. She treated my wedding as if it was her own and wanted to make the day perfect for us..and she did! Her arrangements are fresh, so creative, so elegant, and best of all...within our budget!! I gave her our budget and she took my ideas and matched up the right flower options to help us hit our budget without losing the elegance of the arrangements. She is so reasonably priced for the quality you receive. Her business is run from her home which I adore..it is much more personable and cuts down on costs!! She responded to my emails so quickly and even put up with me when I had so many last minute changes on my quantities and types of flowers,etc. She is great! I recommend using Patricia for all of your wedding flower needs...you absolutely won't be dissappointed! Thanks, Patricia!

Patricia's vision for what my daughter wanted in flowers was right on the mark. She took her time in listening to what we wanted and delivered the most perfect flowers.

Patricia is an absolute ANGEL. Not only was she extremely patient with me while selecting bridal flowers, but she definitely delivered the most gorgeous arrangements and bouquets that I have ever seen. Graceful Flowers definitely receives my highest recommendation!

Patricia was extremely respectful of my budget and suggested more expensive or inexpensive items to enhance my reception. She took my dress, venue, tone of the event, and time of year into consideration when developing a plan. I had a few changes leading up to my wedding and she was very accommodating. I was extremely happy with the result and would highly recommend Patricia.

All of Patricia's floral designs are beautiful! The lighted centerpieces are unique and were a real conversation starter among the guests. Patricia's attention to detail,and her knowledgeable guidance are what every bride needs.

Patricia was amazing to work with as we co-created and designed the flowers for our wedding. At our consultation, I only had an idea of the colors I wanted for the bridesmaids bouquets and had no idea what I wanted for my bouquet or centerpieces. Patricia spent 5 hours working with me to design all of the floral arrangements. I was amazed at her patience and appreciated her expertise and honesty throughout the creative process. I left our meeting thinking that no florist would have spent that amount of time with me to custom design the arrangements.

On the day of the wedding, we realized that we were short one centerpiece for a table. Patricia managed to create another centerpiece that matched the others perfectly! The bouquet Patricia made for me was stunning and the bridesmaids bouquets were perfect against their formal black gowns. Patricia's designs are exquisite. If you are looking for a truly custom look, you need to work with Patricia.

We didn't really have a vision for our flowers, but Patricia helped us come up with something that was well suited for us. She presented a wide variety of options to us and we were able to choose flowers that we liked. She was easy to work with and it was clear that she had a personal interest in making our wedding look nice. She was a little bit slow in getting the contract to us (sent via mail instead of email) and there was a minor hiccup on the day of the wedding, but she was able to quickly correct the mistake. My mother actually dealt with it before I even arrived, so all went well. Overall, I would definitely recommend Patrica.

Patricia did a great job on my wedding flowers. She really listened to me in regards to what I was looking for and dealt with a million last minute changes I made with ease. The color of the flowers was very important to me and she worked hard to make sure that she found just the right compliment to the main shade of our wedding. Her arrangements were stylish, hip and sophisticated and were "out of the box" arrangements that were stunningly beautiful. I got so many wonderful compliments on the flowers, flower girl halo, boutineers, bouquets, etc. She was really easy to work with and gave me great advice when I wanted to make a change to something. I also thought her costs were reasonable. I am an event planner myself so through the course of planning a wedding I realized how many vendors take advantage of brides and hike up the costs. Patricia did not do that at all and seemed extremely reasonable and able to work within my budget. Overall Patricia was fantastic and I highly recommend her to any bride looking for a great florist!

Graceful Flowers has arranged the flowers for three of our children's weddings. Pat, while guided by our wishes, always provided truly visionary advice on the type of arrangement best suited to our circumstances and venue.

Pat has always gone beyond our expectations, but our most recent event was a real challenge. It involved decorating an elegant, but dark paneled dining room in a way that would be suitable for a wedding. Furthermore, Pat arrived the day of the wedding to arrange the flowers, only to find that the table arrangements were different than the ones we expected. I had to leave for the wedding ceremony, but Pat remained behind and instructed the staff on how to arrange the room. She rearranged the flowers....beautiful white Calla lillies, white roses, and stephanotis in long rectangular glass vases lined with moss. She placed additional tall arrangements throughout the room, taking advantage of mirrors hung on the paneled walls.

The flowers for the wedding ceremony were exquisite. I had shown Pat a picture of the flower girl's dress, and she designed a series of lovely bouquets for the bride and her attendants. The bride was delighted with her bouquet, which complemented her dress beautifully.

I and my guests arrived from the ceremony to be welcomed by a uniquely elegant, light filled space, one that provided a beautiful backdrop to celebration.

I truly appreciated Pat's excellent taste, additional time, and attention to detail in making our wedding beautiful and memorable. We would certainly recommend her as your best choice for any event.

My wife and I were absolutely delighted with the flower arrangements created by Graceful Flowers by Patricia! Our wedding came together in about 2 months, so we were extremely grateful Patricia Collet was willing to work with us on such short notice. She made arrangements for both our ceremony and our reception and was on-site the day of the wedding at both venues to coordinate last minute enhancements. Graceful Flowers by Patricia did the bouquets, centerpieces, church arrangements and boutonnieres for my wedding. The flowers turned out spectacular -- I couldn't have asked for anything more. I got many comments on how beautiful my bouquet was, and the tables at the reception looked great. Patricia was very easy to work with, and was patient when I changed my mind a couple of times :) I would definitely reccomend working with her!

I came to Patricia with a small budget, but she still treated me like a princess. She helped me allocate my budget so I would get the most impact---choosing the more expensive flowers for my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets, then the reception site, and finally the church, where we spent the least amount of time. She helped me choose flowers that were not terribly expensive, but gave great impact, beauty and the variety of textures I admired in her photographs.

She also came up with the concept of laying fresh greens from my garden on the the head table and reception fireplace, and sprinkling them with fresh flowers. It was a beautiful and lowcost way of decorating the reception site and I loved the way she put it together.

I gave the reception centerpieces to friends and family and they have told me they enjoyed the centerpieces for many days.

I would highly recommend Patricia for her creative use of flowers and the quality she provides.

Working with Patricia was a dream, she has an absolute gift in her floral designs and arrangements. I particularly enjoyed the process of selecting the flowers for my bridal bouquet. First, she had me go through various catalogs of bouquets and put a sticky note on each one I liked (I probably chose at least 20!). Next, we went through each one I had picked out and she had me state what I liked about that particular bouquet; from that she noticed a trend in my tastes and designed an unbelieveable bouquet.

Our family and friends are STILL talking about the centerpieces, how beautiful they were and how fresh the flowers were. The entire process far exceeded our expectations and we would (and DO!) recommend Graceful Flowers by Patricia to everyone! - Sarah and Mike married November 14,2009

At first, I thought I was going to have a positive experience with Patricia. She seemed nice and professional. But that all fell apart - like my mom's wrist corsage - the week of the wedding. She was extremely unprofessional, copying me on rude Emails between her and the reception coordinator three days before the wedding when there was no need to include me other than to raise my stress level. She also called me the day before the wedding to ask whether I wanted the wedding party flowers to be delivered to the church or the reception site - not sure where the logic is there, but she had been dealing with my mother-in-law and could have easily called her with such a stupid question. To top it all off, she forgot to bring a flower for the GROOM Colors of flowers in my bouquet were wrong and the bridesmaids' bouquets looked like the size of a flowergirl's bouquet. She also charged me $10 for groomsmen boutonnieres that were a single rose with nothing other than a piece of greenery behind them. Overall, the quality was poor for the price we paid and combine that with the unprofessionalism and you have one poor excuse for a florist.

This vendor does an amazing job. The attention to detail is impeccable. Patricia and her staff created exactly what I wanted for my wedding day! The commitment that this vendor has for top quality is especially apparent in her knowledge and flexibility to find flowers that are hard to find Her work is flawless. Any bride/wedding would be so very lucky to use this vendor! (Thanks a Bunch!)

I loved working with Patricia and was blown away by how beautiful the flowers for my wedding turned out. She really understood what look I was going for and she translated that vision into flowers perfectly! She was wonderful to work with-very responsive and professional. Ms. Collett did the flowers and decorations for my wedding. I was blown away by the floral arrangements she designed. They were the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen, and to this day, guests at my wedding still comment that I had the most beautiful flower arrangments they had ever seen. The flowers were vibrant, the colors just beautiful, and they smelled great too! Ms. Collett truly has an eye for design. They really livened the church and personalized the reception hall. I highly recommend Ms. Collett to brides in the Northern Virginia area. You will not be disappointed.

Patricia was very flexible when changes needed to be made, and we felt her cost was very reasonable as well.

The flowers were very fancy and classic. The flowers made my reception hall feel soft and fresh, like spring time. Everything was beautiful, and dealing with Pat was always a pleasure. She was professional, thoughtful, and pretty much perfect in every way.

I showed her my wedding dress, and she was able to match all the flowers to my style. She was also very helpful in coordinating with the other vendors. She did an amazing job.

Bouquets and table arrangements were beautiful

Patricia was pretty easy to work with and delivered a stunning display of flowers for our wedding. I know next to nothing about flowers so I didn't have a very strong idea about what I wanted when I first met with her. She was very flexible as I kept changing my mind, although I wouldn't say she spent much time helping me clarify my vision. Ultimately, I found pictures online of arrangements that I liked and Patricia brought everything to life beautifully, carefully substituting some things here and there to stay within my budget. She didn't have a chuppah to rent originally, but because we needed one she actually went out and bought one so she could have it for future use. Half of our reception tables had tall centerpieces, which were calla lillies submerged in water with pellets that lit up and floated on top. They were very striking and I got so many compliments. Thanks Patricia!

Patricia was wonderful to work with. She was very helpful in picking out the color combination and types of flowers to use. The flowers were beautiful! The centerpieces were amazing. Our guests LOVED our centerpieces and made lots of wonderful comments about them during the reception.

In regards to my wedding, the flowers were not important to me, therefore it was difficult for me to know what I liked and to comprehend sending a lot of money on them. But I knew that my wedding and reception wouldn't be as "graceful" without them.

After meeting Patricia, I showed her pictures of the wedding party attire and asked her to pick something pretty (and cheap) for the boutiques, boutonnieres, corsages, etc. I knew she was a keeper when she provided suggestions based on the attire... I felt as if she understood my vision. She did and it turned out beautifully.

She was also very flexible with my changes in the reception flowers (for budgetary reasons). Although I couldn't visualize her reception flower suggestion; when I walked into the reception room on my wedding day, I was blown away at how gorgeous the centerpieces were.
