My fiancé and I just booked Alice for our May 30, 2010 wedding. In addition to being hugely talented, she was friendly and informative during our trial, which was a bit longer than 1.5 hours!
Alice knows a great deal of her repertoire by heart and is willing to learn new pieces if given enough lead time.
I researched several other harpists in the South Bay and her prices were the most reasonable – she prorates her hourly charge after the hour minimum.

Alice is an amazing musician! She is extremely professional and was so easy to work with! Being a bride, the last thing you want to do is worry about the dependability of your vendors and Alice just took care of everything!
She met with my us early on to discuss the types of music we might want played since we had no idea and her recommendations were priceless because the music she played on our wedding day was just beautiful. That coupled with the awesome backdrop at Nestldown, you really can't ask for more on your wedding day!

I am not one to review very often but with my experience with Alice at our weeding is one review that I simply have to write. From the moment you meet with Alice you feel at ease she is like family. Most people have sample recordings that you listen to but Alice is able to play ANYTHING and I do mean ANYTHING from memory! She is a true professional but with a warm personality. On our wedding day she was completely organized and set up. When I say she is low maintenance and completely worry free you can understand how important that is to have on your wedding day! Her musical talent is off the charts! It is one thing to play music and quite another to play beautiful music and everything Alice played for us was exceptional and lived up to her name! My wife is an accomplished pianist and therefore knows Music. So when I say she was as thrilled I am with every aspect of working with Alice and her Graceful Music you know it is coming from a professional. Often people use priceless with many things but I can honestly say that our experience with Alice was Priceless and worth double or triple what we paid you can not go wrong with Graceful Music.

Alice is an absolutely INCREDIBLE musician and worked closely with us in creating the perfect music selection for our wedding day. I loved meeting with her and hearing her suggestions as we described what we envisioned. Clearly had a ton of experience! She knew so many pieces and it was amazing to see her just play them from memory. She was so professional, dependable and responsible that we didn't have to worry at all about any of the musical parts of our wedding. I'd HIGHLY recommend her!
First off, let me say that Alice is a very talented, joyful, and energetic harpist. You can tell right away that she truly loves what she does.

On the day of our wedding, Alice was one of the first vendors to arrive at our site, and she played beautifully. Many of our guests had never been to a wedding as elaborate as ours, but despite all of the other extras we had for our wedding, our guests continuously approached me throughout the night to comment on how fabulous Alice was.
She even went the extra mile for my husband, playing "Stairway to Heaven" as he and the groomsmen entered the ceremony.

I heard Alice play her harp at a wedding and she sounded great! I thought a harp would be much quieter but the sound projected very well.
