I LOVED Gracie's Bridal. I bought a dress from them several months before my big day and they stored it for me until my wedding day which I thought was so nice of them. I also took my dress at one point to do a bridal shoot and my dress got dirty and I brought it back and the owner Andrea got down on her hands and knees and cleaned my dress for me. She is such a sweetheart and will do anything for anyone. If I was doing my wedding over again I wouldn't think twice about using anyone but her! Her dresses are beautiful and her staff is amazing as well. Thank you everyone at Gracie's Bridal!

I LOVED my experience at Gracie's Bridal!!! I was worried to start dress shopping because I only had a vague idea of the type of dress I wanted and I do not enjoy shopping. It turns out there was no need to worry! The staff helped me find the perfect dress for my wedding. I liked two dresses and the staff encouraged me to try the dresses on back to back. That was extremely helpful in making my decision. I realized after trying the dresses on back to back which one I really loved. Even though retrying the dresses on was time consuming I never felt rushed or pushed by the staff to make my decision. When my dress came in, Gracie’s stored my dress for free! And if I ever had a question the staff was always available to answer them. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I wanted to start my dress shopping away from David's Bridal. In my head I pictured finding the perfect dress at a boutique. I was convinced a boutique would allow me to have a unique dress. Well my first day of shopping is at Gracie's. The gowns were beautiful and the girl who helped me was sweet. We go down the racks of dresses and I find a few amazing gowns. The only problem is they only had one of each. So I still grab them in hopes they may have another elsewhere. I wear a size 18. I am big, but not huge. There ended up being no more of the dresses and there was no way my hips were getting in a size 6. Bummer #1... the dresses I liked, I couldn't try on. Bummer #2... the one dress she brought me that was a size bigger than my normal dress size was about 6 inches from closing! WTF?!?! I was so discouraged and feeling absolutely horrible about myself. The next week I went to David's Bridal, had a great experience, and they now have my $1200. Sorry, Gracie's!!! But you can't expect someone to buy a gown based on you taking their measurements! Sounds like that hasn't worked out too well from reading other reviews.

LOVED LOVED LOVED Gracie's Bridal! Found everything I needed for my amazing day in one place! From my wedding dress to my bridesmaids dresses and my guys tuxedos! Everyone was so helpful and kind as I planned my wedding! Thank you so much for all of your help! My day was wonderful!

Dealing with Andrea was the worst most frustrating experience of my life. She constantly fed me a bunch of lies. My dress came in 2 months after she said it would arrive and actedly like it was no big deal. When my dress did finally arrive it was too small and too short. She told me that I must have gained weight. However, I am a personal trainer and I am positive I did not. She was completely unprofessional and she ruined my whole wedding dress experience.

Going through this vendor was the worst experience of my life. The owner was rude, blamed every one but herself for the promises she made and couldn't keep and blatantly denied, gave me attitude on the phone like I was one of her friends, and wasted my time and money.
I wear a size 16 and even though they took my measurements and were given them a second time I still got ordered a size 28 dress. Needless to say even if I could have gotten it altered it wouldn't have been the same dress. I looked like I weighed about 300 lbs. and it was the most unflatering and frustrating bridesmaids dress experience(this was the 8th wedding I've been in).
Save your money and go to a boutique that treats you well, can take accurate measurements and don't continuously blame their customers for THEIR mistakes.

I had a wonderful experience working with Gracie’s! The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. They listened to what I liked and disliked about each dress I tried on and would bring me new dresses to try based on my remarks. Because of this I found the dress of my dreams! I bought my dress, bridesmaid dresses, MOB dress and tuxes at Gracie’s. Everything came in in the time frame I was told it would. I will recommend Gracie’s Bridal to everyone!

Gracie's Bridal has been the best experience that I have had while planning my wedding! The store is beautiful and the dresses are very affordable. I went all over Springfield shopping for dresses and Gracie's was by far the best! The other stores were cluttered and snobby. I felt like I was shopping in LA or New York, but with Springfield, Missouri prices. The service was amazing! Andrea and the ladies that work at Gracie's are wonderful. I felt very comfortable while shopping, I did not feel rushed or pushed to purchase a wedding dress. I can honestly say that shopping at Gracie's for my wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses, and tuxedos has been the greatest experience. My wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses arrived early and they are beautiful! I can't wait to wear my dress on my wedding day! I will remember my experience and my wedding for the rest of my life! I will forever recommend Gracie's to every person that I know!!! GREAT STORE, GREAT SELECTION, AND GREAT SERVICE!

I have nothing but good things to say about this dress salon. I walked in and found the PERFECT dress in minutes. The owner was always helpful, and always friendly and eager to help me in anyway I needed. I would highly recommend this shop. The dresses are of high quality, the shop is always clean, and everyone is very courteous.

After reading the last two reviews I must say I had a totally different experience. Andrea made dress buying simple. I traveled to every shop in town and many in other locations. Gracie's had everything I was looking for. I was able to shop around and not be followed like I was car shopping. After trying on almost every dress in the store I found the perfect one. The Casablanca dress I found was the most incredible thing I had ever seen. Everything I had dreamed about and more. Andrea was very upfront when she said it would be a minimum of six months for the dress to come in. I might have called every day for the last month until it came in, not really but it felt like it. But I was just so excited. The dress came in after six months and a week. Just as she said it would. I guess I should have listened more! All the books I read said give your dress six to twelve months to come in. But in the long run it was worth it. I wish I could put up pics of how amazing the veil and dress turned out. I also bought my jewelery and bridesmaid dresses at Gracie's. And the shoes also for myself and the bridal party. It was a total one stop shop. They even gave me 10% off my bridesmaid dress's since I bought my dress from them. Overall I have nothing but amazing things to say about my experience at Gracie's. Even my husband's little sister is buying Prom and Homecoming dresses from Gracie's now. If I had to do it all over again I would not change a thing!!!!!

well i went to gracie's as well and i loved it the people was VERY nice and HELPFUL. i had went all over lookin for the dress that i had always dreamed of, and nowhere had that. everywhere i went was to high for me. but gracie's was cheap and had beautiful dresses and i'm so thankful that i was able to find them because im not from springfield i live 2 hours away. so thank you gracie's for the best dress. i love it. i would tell everybody to go there over davids bridal anyday. because all davids dridal does push people around trying to get them to spend more money then they want. so go to gracies its great.

Absolutely the worst experience for the whole wedding. DO NOT USE THIS STORE! Andrea is completely useless and rude. Everything was wrong from the bridesmaid dresses to the actual bride's dress and Andrea does not make it right. If something is wrong, even though it is her product, she will not accept responsibility and expect you to pay for more dresses. The bride's dress after being pressed had a rip and dirt on it.....WHAT? Save yourself time and money and your sanity a go to a vendor that will make your experience wonderful.

DO NOT USE THIS STORE! Andrea and her staff is completely rude, incompetent, and lie! They don't back their products up. If they screw up, they expect you to pay for more dresses. What!??? The Brides dress did not get pressed as promised and had dirt on it and was also ripped. This is not the business that will make your wedding beautiful. Go somewhere else.

I had a good experience with Gracie's Bridal. I ordered a Casablanca dress and they do take a full six months to arrive. It was a beautiful dress for the money and it came in a perfect fit. It didn't require any alterations, so I only had to have it bustled and Gracie's steamed it for free. Andrea was very responsive and patient. If you can't afford a custom/designer dress, but want something more original than you will find at the "chain" store check out Gracie's. Just remember to give yourself enough time! Andrea cannot alter the time space continuum.

I found my wedding dress at Gracie's. I had gone to numerous other shops and here they were very down to earth, did not push you, and were not snooty unlike many of the other places I went. They had a great selection but it was also still very affordable.

The first thing I did when I got engaged was go out and go dress shopping, I was so excited. I first went to David's Bridal and tried on several dresses but nothing made me feel perfect like a wedding dress should. So the next day I decided to go to Gracie's bridal to try on dresses. My experience while trying on dresses was possitive, I found the perfect dress and veil.
I bought my dress that day and was told that my dress would be in January 2009 and at the time it was October, 2008; this was great just enough time for me to get the dress in and then get alterations before my wedding in June. Which they do not do :( It is now mid March 2009 and my dress is still not in, each time I have called to check on my dress which has only been twice the owner was VERY RUDE and not understanding of the fact that my wedding is in June 2009 and I still need alterations and my dress is still not in.
At this point I am concerned that my dress will not come in and without the dress the wedding is obviously not complete. What should have been a perfect experience has turned into a nightmare. If I could go back I would have bought my dress with Davids Bridal, my fiend got her dress from there in January and she already has her dress, Gracie's cannot compare to this.
I cannot express how disappointed I am with my experiece at Gracie's, I would never recommend them. For those that are looking to buy their dress there I wouldn't recommend it but if you must I would say that you should order your dress 9 months before the wedding and hope that your money wasn't stolen and it comes in, because I feel that I have been robbed from. They still have my money and I don't have my dress. DON'T BUY FROM THEM.

This place is a joke. Andrea is a horribly rude and inconsiderate person. She will also tell you anything you want to hear and then act like you are an idiot when you expect and rely on what she promised and will totally deny it. She needs to go back to business school and realize that she and her store are nothing special.

the owner has no idea how to run a business. i ordered two tuxes for my wedding and they arrive no more than three days before the wedding date. she went on and on about if any alterations need to be done she would stay up all night to do them herself and that is how all places do it with no problems. one arrived on time and one did not. she also said she cant do alterations and denied everything she had promised. her measurements are off and her attitude makes you want to slap her. she blames everyone else and does not try in any way to provide any service above taking your money. she is a joke and so is her pathetic excuse for a business

Andrea is a dream! She was wonderful to work with. I found all of my wedding day attire at Gracies--even my hair accessories. The gowns are elegant and sophisicated, but very reasonably priced. It had a wonderful exerience!

Andrea was great! She helped me pick out my dress, tiara, and veil all at once. I found a dress similar to the one I bought at another store and it was twice the price! I purchased the dress while in school, but moved before it came in. Andrea mailed the dress to me and called to make sure everything was alright. I would highly recommend her!
