We hired Graffiti Park for our wedding in August of 2011. They were a huge hit, and we received many compliments after the fact. What was amazing was that we had asked them to perform a Korean song, as many of our guests were Korean. For a nominal fee, they agreed and did an amazing job! And I must add that none of the band members are Korean! Yep, they are that good. They have a huge range of songs from oldies to the latest hits. They are also extremely engaging with their crowds. And finally, their rates were some of the best we came across during our search for a band. We HIGHLY recommend them!

We saw Graffiti Park play at a venue here in Toronto about six months before our wedding date. We had already booked and payed for our DJ but we thought we would talk to Kojo Ferguson, the bass player and manager, to see what he could do for us. By the end of the nite, we pretty much had an agreement and firmed it up a few weeks later. Kojo was very friendly professional; he answered all our questions and concerns quickly, and was very honest and accommodating.
Our wedding was amazing, and it had a lot to do with Graffiti Park. They had a collection of 300 songs that they could play (crazy!) and they even played some Pearl Jam because Kojo knew it was my favorite band. They dressed ini black suits and brought the house down...EVERYONE was on the dance floor and it seemed like a wedding/concert. Our DJ was there to fill the breaks, but it was the band that everyone loved. Since then we've had numerous friends and family members tell us it was the best wedding they've ever been to, and I know the band had a lot to do with that. These guys rock, and I would do it all over again, hands down!
About Graffiti Park
The band's specialty is wedding entertainment. An ability to read the audience as well as a sensitivity to age group and volume makes this band one of the busiest working acts in Toronto. Rest assured, if you hire Graffiti Park for your event, you can count on a maximum amount of guests remaining to dance on the floor by the end of the night..
The band is comprised of pro level musicians who are dedicated to this unit. That means you get what you purchased when it comes time for your day - no substitutions. The band has worked with many of Canada's top recording artists including Alllanah Myles, Alan Frew (Glass Tiger), Amy Sky, Tom Cochrane & Colin James. GP has also been the backline band for The Temptations for performances in Dubai, and has had special guests come on stage to perform with them including Robin Williams and Keifer Sutherland.
Audience participation is of high importance to Graffiti Park. We like to include games in our shows such as twist, limbo & hulahoop contests. In some cases we even have guests competing in a 'Michael Jackson' dance - off.
Graffit Park prides themselves on being able to play many genres of popular music and keep each sounding authentic. Funk sounds like funk, latin sounds like latin, rock like rock, etc. The 5 piece band has 5 lead vocalists with a male and female lead frontperson. Each member is a multi instrumentalist which allows the band to 'switch it up' or add instrumentation on occassion. If you wish to have something special added to your event such as an acoustic duo or trio for a wedding ceremony (which includes piano/keys) that can be provided. The band can play culturally specific music as well such as hora medleys and polkas. A jazz ensemble is also an option.
Thank you for considering Graffti Park for your special day. Rest assured you have chosen the band that can think outside of the box and assure you and your guests of the best party possible!
