Carolyn from Grand Avenue Wedding Officiants was the officiant for our wedding, she was awesome to work with! She took the time to get to know us on a personal level and that made our ceremony so intimate and special. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant.

Carolyn was very personable and flexible to work with. Being able to have a spiritual but not religious wedding was great. Although Grand Officiants can perfrom traditional style wedding ceremonies, we decided to go at it differently. Carolyn had many ideas to help make our wedding unique and helped us incorporate different cultural aspects into our weddng. Carolyn was such a pleasure to work with, and we later met two other officiants during a couples retreat that were just as nice and personable. Carolyn truly took care of all the details. After the ideas were laid out Grand Officiants did the rest and put together the most beautiful and naturalistic ceremony.

Carolyn Germaine performed a truly personal and beautiful ceremony for our daughter and son-in-law. She met with them several times before the wedding. During those meetings, Carolyn got to know our daughter and son-in-law as she guided and made suggestions in planning their ceremony. The Tree of Life Ritual was a very unique and meaningful part of their ceremony. My husband and I received many compliments after the ceremony from our guests. Carolyn, I fear that words aren't capable of completely expressing how grateful we are for your guidance and for the beautiful ceremony you performed. Even though we spent mere hours together, your service spoke as though you were with us for our entire journey as a couple. For two people incredibly nervous and uncomfortable about a "public" ceremony, your art made it feel as though it was just the two us standing there! Even more, our 150 people wedding had numerous, strong (and loud!) opinions on faith and religion, none of which we, the bride and groom, practice. We were sensitive about this being OUR wedding and ceremony, but we didn't want to offend our guests or make them feel like they could share in our blessings and love. Carolyn, I don't believe it could have been any better. You truly spoke across all of those religious and faith barriers and made the entire room one with love. Kjersti was amazing! We had an interesting set of circumstances that brought us to her. She had less than a week to meet and plan my niece's wedding. Very happy we spent the extra money on the ceremony. Going into this, we did not think much about our ceremony. We were about to default to a quick, packaged, justice of the peace ceremony. We met with Carolyn and really got excited about how she could turn the ceremony into something that was meaningful and special for us. Turned out the ceremony was our most favorite moment out of our whole wedding day! Plus it was fun spending time with her in the days leading up to the wedding. My husband and I both enjoyed her very much and were comforted to have someone we know marry us as opposed to someone who just shows up.

My husband and I decided to work with Grand Avenue Officiants after our initial consultation with Carolyn. She is very supportive, listens well and helped us create our own personalized wedding ceremony. We met with Carolyn 3 times in person after our initial meeting to begin to put together our wedding ceremony and so she could get to know us a little better which really helpd make the ceremony more personal. When we first started planning the wedding I was originally focused on the reception and the big party, but when we started to work with Carolyn she helped my husband and I focus our attention on the real reason we are throwing a huge party!
