Grand Central is the best! they are extremely professional and easy to work with. Every detail of my wedding was executed to perfection. They arrived on time with everything I ordered and the staff did an excellent job in setting up as well as the beautiful draping. I would recommend Grand to anyone in this area needing rentals who want a friendly and professional group of people. They absolutely went above and beyond for me and I can't thank them enough!

I rented for two events (mainly tables and chairs) for a shower and a party. Miranda and Mikasha were very knowledgable and helpful while placing my order. For the first party, I had to pick up 20 chairs and it was no problem since their warehouse (while a bit of a drive my my house) was rather easy to find and the items were available and the guy loaded the chairs into my truck, as well as unloading them when I brought them back. For the second party, we had 50 chairs and 5 tables that were delivered promptly when they said they would be and picked up when they said they would be. Great job great service adn i will repeat/recommed and necessary.

Grand Central Party Rental surpassed our expectations. Having an outdoor wedding in August presents challenges. Mr. Krantz provided an elegant atmosphere for our outdoor wedding and reception. The garden wedding was gorgeous and the reception was amazing!

We used Grand Central Party Rental for all of our rehearsal dinner and reception needs. We had a beautiful tent (complete with lighting and chandeliers), tables, chairs, dance floor, china, gorgeous linens and center pieces. Their selections were outstanding and the prices were very reasonable. They were very accomodating and helpful. The rentals we used were of the highest quality and set the perfect backdrop for our special day. Everyone that we dealt with at Grand Central Party Rentals was a delight. We HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to have a memorable party or event!!

We used Grand Central for our wedding in April of 2009 and were very pleased in all aspects of the company. Our wedding was outdoors, so we used a very braod spectrum of rentals; tent, chandeliers, chairs, tables, and linens. Kim worked with us and treated us as if we were the only ones on her client list. She met with us numerous times throughout the entire year during our planning of the wedding. She was honest with us in regards to prices, reserving what we needed and deadlines that had to be met. We were never pressured into any decisions or any unwanted ad-ons. My mom and I were very impressed with Kim and Grand Central's professionalism and help; we would recommend them to anyone.

I met Keith, the owner, and Kim at a bridal show and after talking with them, they helped us out by discounting our Sunday delivery/set-up/pick up, and gave us $50 off for booking on the day of the show! They are probably the cheapest in town for what I was ordering (linens, chairs, and set-up/delivery on Sunday) and are fairly flexible. I added a few extra linens just a few days before, and there was no problem. On the day of the wedding, it POURED and I hadn't been prepared. We called Keith's personal number at 6am on the Sunday morning to see if we could get a tent but he unfortunately didn't want to put his workers at risk by having them set up a tent in lightning. So, we sucked it up and made it work, and when they got there to set up our 200 chairs, we discovered they all wouldn't fit in our limited space of an indoor venue and we ended up only using 100. The delivery guys were fantastic and I hate that I didn't have cash on me to tip them because they definitely deserved it! My mother asked if they could refund us the cost of the 100 chairs we didn't use and they didn't set up, and he said he'd talk with the ladies in charge. We heard back from them and the best they could do was refund us $100 which amounted to fee charged to set-up the chairs and about 2/3 the cost of the chairs themselves. It was quite generous of them and they will definitely be who I call if I need rentals in the future!

I worked with Kim and she treated me as though I was her only client. She helped me find a tent that was large enough for my event, but still helped me stay on budget. When I called her three days before my wedding because it was going to pour rain on my wedding day, she helped me add the necessary items and offered me suggestions that helped me save money where I could.

Grand Central is the place to go with your wedding and party rental needs! They are professionals and completely trustworthy. We used them for our wedding reception (tables, chairs, linens, etc) and I've also worked with them for several large work parties (tents, tables, chairs). Just for my small wedding reception, the owner himself was kind enough to drive from Madison to downtown Nashville and help me figure out where to put what at the site.

We used this vendor for our tent, tables, chairs, linens, lighting, dance floor, stage, and fans. The general manager, Kim, was very easy to work with. I suggest booking this first thing because things do go quickly. We wanted a bigger dance floor but by the time I decided I wanted to make it bigger, all the other dance floors were booked. We were very happy with the service and they setup the day before the wedding. They don't pick up on Sunday, so make sure your place allows you to keep your rentals there until Monday morning. Overall, the price was decent and the service was good. I would recommend them. They are also cheaper than Signature Rental in Nashville, so if you are looking to compare prices, I found they were cheaper.

The prices were very reasonable but they were late. They told me they would be at my venue at 9am and they didn't show up until 2pm. They also forgot 3tables and 30 chairs. After they fixed there mistakes everything went smoothly.

I'm very sorry that Kate was not happy. With all of the events we are doing on any given weekend we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time. Our normal policy is a three hour window. As far as the tables and chairs these were not originally ordered and were added later that day after the truck had already left, another truck had to come back to get the additional tables and chairs and make a second delivery. Everything was in place by 2pm Friday for her Saturday wedding.

Unfortunatly I was underimpressed with our tent/facilities vendor. While I loved our venue, the made us use Grand Central - there was no other option. I found that it was hard to communciate with their representitives - literally until the day of my wedding I didn't know where exactly my tent would be because I couldn't get a clear answer. I feel like often I was told one thing the when I talked to them, then when I called back to confirm everything I changed. Working with this vendor was my number one challenge with my wedding. If I could have kept my venue and paid more for a different vendor I would.

I'm disappointed to hear that Christie was not happy with her wedding. When she booked the venue for a Sunday she knew that the venue had already been booked for Saturday a year in advance. Unfortunately you can't just turn everything like a hotel room from a Saturday to a Sunday wedding. This is an outdoor venue and the Saturday bride has some say in where tents are going. Some delay in answers was caused by the Saturday bride making final decisions. Christie understood this at the booking and its why she got almost a $1,500.00 discount. In going through her file of emails she never indicated that she was unhappy, we even got her extra time at the venue at no extra charge. The tent went up on the right side of the venue on the lake on Thursday before her Sunday wedding. It would have been no different with another vendor in that they to would have been subject to the Saturday brides plans.

The price and quality was amazing! The communication between us and the vendor AND the vendor and their workers, not so much. For one, we did a pre-meeting where they surveyed the land. They measured it the way we would put it. The week of the wedding they came out to set the tent up and put it up the opposite way, saying there was no way they could do it the other way. No big deal, we just had to make some switches. They also suggested I get a generator, but only if my budget allowed, but they assured me their lights could run on the power we had.
Two, there were light problems, so the afternoon before the wedding they were to come out and fix it. They came out while we were at our rehearsal dinner. LUCKILY, that night we were out in the tent decorating and found that the lights were shorting out. I called the company first thing in the morning and their resolution was "We told you to get a generator". This is the LAST thing I wanted to hear ON MY WEDDING DAY! After my sister called and basically chewed them out, they said that they would try to get a generator out there. In my opinion we should've got a discount since we were told it was not completely necessary, when obviously it was. PLUS the tent was set up 3 days before the wedding, so don't you think SOMEONE would've noticed something was wrong and told us sooner what to do to fix it?!? Praise God they got the generator up and running and the lights stayed on (and bright) all night.
If you are looking for cheap, these guys do offer great prices. Just make sure you check, double check, even triple and quadruple check to make sure you don't go through what I did the morning of my...

Lizzy, I am so sorry to hear you were unhappy with your wedding. I have four daughters myself and with over 6000 weddings under our belt we want every bride to have a happy experience, same as I would want for my daughters. You had booked a 40’ x 80’ tent with the roof lit up, which called for 12 ellipsoidal lights for a total of 9000 watts and close to 80 amps. We not only suggested a generator we strongly recommended a 25kw (25,000 watt) whisper quiet generator to handle all of your electrical needs. You told us it was not in your budget and if a generator was required your father or uncle would arrange for one. We could not guarantee that the power from the garage would run lighting, DJ and everything else , nor would we ever in that we do not know the wiring at the garage nor how many watts or amps it could handle. We also were unfamiliar with your DJ and what electrical requirements they were going to need. The tent went up on Thursday, one of our lighting people came in Friday night to do the final focusing, we have to focus at night because you can’t really see the lights well during the day. On Friday when the lights were focused and working we assumed the job was done. You can imagine our surprise when you called Saturday morning complaining that the fuses were going out. We were even more surprised when we found out that you were hanging Christmas lights around the perimeter of the tent and plugging them into our multi outlet plugs for the ellipsoidal lights. Never the less as I said I want every bride to have the wedding of her dream so we called Hertz power systems in South Nashville (closed on Saturdays) and arranged for somebody to come in so we could get the 25kw generator we had originally called for. A two man crew drove to South Nashville picked up the generator and towed it 40 miles to your location, they then spent time rerouting all the wiring so that not only our lights would work, but also the Christmas lights you were hanging. We only billed you for the generator and fuel, the charges we were incurring from Hertz. We did not bill you for our crew’s time or the pick up and delivery charges for the generator. As far as talking to a different person, your contract shows 20 revisions to your order, on 14 of those occasions you spoke with Miranda, on three other occasions you spoke with Brett our operations manager that did your original site inspection. I apologize and I’m very sorry on those three other occasions that our people were not familiar with your order. Again I wish you all the happiness in your marriage and I’m sorry for any stress you endured.
