I rented overlays and sashes from Classic Party Rentals for my wedding on October 1st. I talked to Guy, and he was extremely helpful! I couldn't decide whether I wanted to do square or round overlays for my square tables, so Guy arranged for me to pick up one of each so I could go try them out and see what I liked the best. I ended up going with the square ones. I gave their responsiveness a 4.5 star rating because on the day that I was supposed to pick up the overlays and sashes I called before I went up there to make sure they were ready for pick up, well they couldn't find my order after I had already paid in full. So Dreama went searching for it and the loading guys accidentally loaded it on a truck to be delivered. But she took care of it completely and everything was perfect!

I enjoyed doing business with Classic Party Rentals. Everyone whom I spoke with either in person, on the phone, or through email was very professional and friendly. While another place in Memphis claims to be more "affordable", that place has limited stock and a very rude staff. I called the other place first because I was on a budget and they claim to be more "affordable". They acted as if they could care less to have my business, so I took it to Classic Party Rentals, where I was treated like a VIP, even if I was working with a limited budget. My florist, Kevin Coble at Le Fleur (in Memphis and not mentioned on this review site) also works with Classic Party Rentals and together they made my wedding ceremony and reception breathtaking.

We rented a tent with draping, outdoor chairs, aisle runner, and versa fans. The tent and fans made a big difference at the outdoor ceremony. We had some trouble getting the quote turned around via email, but they were very helpful in the store. They were willing to set the tent up early and then wait to put up the draping since there was a chance of rain before the wedding.

This vendor really brought my ideas to life. They knew exactly how to do what I wanted!




We rented a lot of things! We knew about this rental company because we always see their name at local events. They always seem to be around town, so when we saw their name in the yellowpages, we figured we could trust them. They do great service. They have a showroom full of wedding stuff, and then they’ll make reasonable suggestions on what you’ll need. And they deliver, which makes a big difference.

They were very helpful getting me everything I needed but when it came time to return the rentals a napkin and tablecloth were damaged but we had bought the damage protection. They sent us a bill for $81 to pay for the damages, we reminded them that we bought the damage protection and they said it wasnt covered because they were burned instead of stained. After much arguing they did not make us pay.

We rented equipment (tables, chairs, and linens) for both our rehearsal dinner and reception. The chairs were dirty... some of them had gum on them even. Luckily, we didn't even have to use them-- rehearsal dinner had been planned outside but it rained, so we moved inside where we already had chairs. Also, candle wax got on some of the linens at the reception. They wanted to charge us $400+ to buy new ones! Instead, I went out there, picked up the tablecloths and took them to the dry cleaners myself and paid a little over $100 to get it all out. Other than that, everything was fine-- delivery was on time and everything was beautiful.

They were great. We used their linens (tablecloths and napkins) for the reception. I ordered a color that they didn't have in stock and they shipped it from their location in Nashville. It arrived the day before the wedding. We should have ordered them a lot sooner than we did. We ordered them two weeks in advance because we were told that they had everything in stock and it wouldn't be a problem. Of course, the color and style that I needed was not kept at their location. It all worked out and it looked wonderful at the reception. Just order a month or more in advance so as not to run into my same situation.

Some of their prices were higher than other local vendors, but it was worth it because I knew that everything would be right. Liz really took care of us and made some wonderful suggestions for our reception! The company has been around for a long time and has a great reputation - they lived up to it!

Friendly service. Planners offered very helpful and money saving advice. Very flexible and accommodating.

Not cheap and when they dropped off the arches they were dirty. Spent most of the morning claning the arches for the photos. Even had to start the wedding late. They were dropped off on time and picked up. Had rented a margareta machine and should have set it up eariler did not know and did not have time for the drinks to set. Arches looked great in photos and tent did serve its purpose.




My aunt had suggested that we make our own wedding centerpieces. At other weddings she had seen center pieces that used giant vases and rocks. I told her that she could be in charge. This is her favorite rental company and she would use them all the time before she retired as a party planner. She rented the glass vases and brought in some candles and made floating candle centerpieces. I really liked them, but I would never had time to set them up myself before the wedding. She did all that herself, which included the ordering, picking up the vases, getting candles, and setting them up before the ceremony.

Where are you located?
Our showroom and warehouse is on 3347 Pearson Rd. Memphis, TN 38118.
Pearson Rd is located off Lamar (Hwy 78) between American Way and Democrat.
What are your hours of delivery?
Normal delivery hours are 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
What if we wish to add more equipment or change an order after hours?
Don't hesitate to call our 24 hour answering service at 901-366-0670. Even if our showroom is closed we are still ready to service your event needs or handle any issues you may have. Rain on your wedding day? Call us after hours for any emergency needs, as well.
Do your crews set up the equipment?
We will set up and strike our equipment at your event if labor is requested on your reservation.
What should we do with dishware before we return it?
Please scrape food from plates, rinse and place dishware into the boxes and crates in which they were delivered. No need to wash. We sterilize and sanitize on our property.
Do you rent tents?
Absoluetly! We are Tent Top to Table Top! Our tent inventory is unsurpassable. A Classic Event Consultant can meet you at your home or event venue to help you determine the appropriate tenting solution. Best of all, there is no charge for meeting with our consultants.
