Marisa Lang, Grand Gatherings

I met Marisa because she posted an ad on craigslist looking for a venue that would be willing to work with a couple that did not have alot of money, as they are both students and they would not be receiving any funds from their families. I thought that it was admirable that a wedding planner would take on a non paying client during such trying economic times. I volunteered to provide my calligraphy services for free. Marisa called me up in tears and expressed to me that it would be a wonderful thing if I did... after spending over 3 hours on the phone with her that evening I met with her and the young couple and I am designing their invites etc, for a fair fee, and yes, I am providing them with calligraphy for free. Not because I want publicity, but because I can and it makes me feel good to help out other people. Marisa has helped me both in my personal life, by being a caring and concerned friend and with my business by bringing me new invitation and calligraphy business and photobooth business. Marisa has only been in my life a short time, but so far she has made an impact that others had not made in years.

I would highly recommend her to plan any event, wedding or otherwise ... she has a huge heart. I am reminded of a proverb that many of the younger people probably would not understand ... "It is the person who questions their own sanity, who wonders if they might be crazy, that is the one that is sane. A crazy person would view others as being different than their own, and thus not normal to them."

Marisa Lang planned my Bridal Shower and Wedding 3 years ago. The wedding (and shower)blew away any other wedding I had ever attended. Her keen attention to every detail made our wedding so unbelievably beautiful and memorable. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about her. She even through in hundreds of dollars of extra flowers because she wanted us to have the very best. She came in way under budget and treated our parents and guests so well. She was very sensitive to our needs and was a huge support to me on my wedding day. Marisa has a wonderful heart and she is alot of fun too. She is very passionate about her work. Marisa Lang is an amazingly talented wedding planner. She gave us a wedding beyond our dreams. We interviewed many different planners and she was the best by far.
