Reviews for Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa

We went down to the south shore of Kauai just for one night to check it out. This hotel has a very “tropical resort” feel to the grounds are beautifully landscaped. We didn’t use the pools, but they looked pretty nice! Overall the service was good (but it wasn’t quite as good as the Princeville). The Anara Spa is extremely nice – pricey but worth it. The spa is being renovated now, so they are doing treatments in guests rooms next to the spa which overlook a big lawn. When I had my facial, there was a ten-year vow-renewal ceremony going on right outside. I didn’t mind listening to it (for obvious reasons), but it didn’t exactly have a serene feel to it. We had dinner at Tidepools restaurant which was outstanding (both in food and setting).

We came here for our honeymoon. I liked this Hyatt better than the one on Maui. This was more of resort feel than the other hotel.

An amazing resort and perfect for honeymooners. ALL the restaurants are great, the italian restaurant is great and the Asian restaurant on the golf course is AMAZING too. They always gave you fresh towels while you were on your way out to hike or to an excursion which was a huge plus!

This is a beautiful venue for both the wedding ceremony and the reception. The coordinator does a wonderful job of quickly responding to any questions you might have and is very attentive. The spa is a bit pricey for hair and make-up, but they did a wonderful job. However, I recommend that if you have any younger girls in the bridal party you have their hair/make-up done by someone else because they charge the same.

This place was so great! The location was beautiful, the food was even BETTER than expected (and we had buffet - definitely no rubbery chicken here!). The cake was even better than expected, too! I was so pleasantly surprised by the whole thing. Everything was waaaay better than I expected for a hotel. The dessert bar was fabulous, too! Chef's choice - normally I would be afraid, but they supplied little bite sized pieces of beautiful asian-style cakes, tarts, etc.

We went to the Hyatt Kauai and the Hyatt Maui. Both hotels were great and very accomodating. They gave us great treament at both and I would recommend both Hyatts.

The staff was unbelievably attentive. I knew once I got off the plane I didn’t want to worry but just spend time with my husband, and they made it happen. The pool was incredible and I especially enjoyed the grotto. Everything was so clean and new. We did learn to ask the locals where to find some good food. We had so much fun we are going back next year for Part II of our honeymoon :)

This is for my Honeymoon - WE WERE IN PARADISE!!! We decided to stay on one island for the 12 days (in hindsight, good idea due to the earthquake!!!) and we are so glad we chose this place. We had an unbelieveble room, complementary bottle of champagne on our first night, and complete and utter relaxation for the entire 2 weeks. Really can't say enough about this place... my husband and I were devistated we had to come home!!! There is defnitely enough to do on Kaua'i for 2 weeks... we drove all around the island, had a boat tour, ATV tour, helicopter tour, private dinner on a beach our last night.... definitely a holiday of a lifetime!!!

This was the best place to get married. The coordinator was awesome. The photographer was exceptional, and all the scenes for picture taking were breath taking. The ocean view room was perfect..i loved falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the beach. The spa was excellent too. I had my hair and nails done the day of the wedding. The only negative thing I can say was the wedding cake tasted freezer burnt...but minor nit for a perfect wedding day.
