The Grand Loft thought of everything and it was an amazing night for everyone. My parents were able to relax and we were able to relax knowing that everything was all in one place and already taken care of. It was a great time and we would recommend the venue to anyone.

My fiance wanted a big wedding and i did not want to do all the work required. When we found the Grand Loft it was a perfect match for us. We did the all inclusive package which took care of our food, cake, and DJ. It was easy sailling from there on out. I absolutely loved our stress free day and got a million compliments on the food and venue. It was beautiful.

From the time my wife and I walked into the Grand Loft at their open house to the time she walked down the isle towards me, there was nothing more we could have asked for from the Loft. Their family style business is perfectly suited to their competitive pricing and quality service. Anyone looking for a venue outside of the standard Kansas City area would be well served to take the 30 minute drive down to see this venue. Also, we both highly recommend their all-inclusive package as it helps relieve a great deal of stress when everything goes through the venue.

PERFECT! That in the only word that is needed to describe our experience at The Grand Loft. Brandi is exceptional. Even with all my questions, she was quick with her responses and always has a great attitude. Along with Claude and Kathy, the entire team at the Grand Loft act as if you are a part of their family, making sure that the event is perfect. Don't hesitate to book this venue. We worried that the drive might be a problem-it wasn't! If I had another wedding to plan, I would rebook this gorgeous place in a heart beat. My daughter said her day was everything and more that she could of dreamed of. That says it all!

The Grand Loft took a lot of stress away from the planning of our wedding. It is a beautiful venue and we have had so many complements on our wedding! Great people to work with too!

As complex as a wedding ceremony and reception are, there is plenty of opportunity for problems to develop, either before the event or during. Some problems did develop in the last week or so before our wedding, but the staff at The Grand Loft made outstanding adjustments so that our event still came off great! We are very happy with how things turned out and we received many compliments.

This venue is an all in one venue with an amazing staff! They worked so hard to give us what we wanted even when it did not fit into the traditional wedding. I am so grateful to all of them! Shalaine Blazic did our photography as well and she is personable and well worth her price

The Grand Loft is beautiful and everyone what works with them is amazing. My wedding day an so smoothly! Claude and Kathy are the nicest people you will ever meet. The venue is amazing, it is DEF. worth the distance/travel. I still get emails 3 weeks after my wedding (March 19th) that I had the most beautiful wedding they have been to and a great reception they wont forget. Claude & Kathy and the bartenders even went above and beyond and helped make my day amazing.

Kathy and Claude (the owners) are the most wonderful vendors I have come across. Any questions that we had were answered on the spot, or at least quickly thereafter. They recommended several vendors to us that they had worked with before and felt very comfortable using; and while we didn't use all of them, the ones we did use were just as wonderful as they were!! Everything that they do and all that is provided is well worth the money! I would recommend this venue to everyone and anyone!!

A dream come true everything I wanted on my special day and envisioned the Grand Loft exceeded more then I thought was possible. The chapel is a fairy tale... I cryed the first time I saw the chapel in person beautiful.....Im so happy I found this place. We loved the all inclusive package, less stressful And the staff is so nice and very sweet. The food was very good . Guest were very completive on the whole Grand Loft experience, one of the best weddings they have been to. Dj Duane played all my music and his own, the dance floor was packed all night. Everyone having amazing time. Thank you for amazing unforgettable night!

Brandi, Claude and Kathy were all great to work with! They definitely know what they're doing & you literally do not have to worry about a thing-- just enjoying yourself & getting married!
The venue is absolutely GORGEOUS, stunning, and breathtaking as well.
I would WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend Grand Loft to any bride out there! I feel like we were truly blessed with the turn-out of our wedding & I couldn't have imagined it more PERFECT!

Overall, I thought the Grand Loft was a wonderful place to have a wedding. For the price, it is a beautiful facility. Although they have changed a lot since my husband and I first contracted with them. But regardless it was a wonderful place.

The Loft was great--they were wonderful in terms of answering our questions and helping us through the day. It was great to have Kathy there to help us through every detail of the day--she helped remind my bridesmaids when to walk down the aisle and even helped to bustle my dress. We could not beat the Loft for value or conviencece. We didn't have to do any of the decorating or clean-up except for our personal items and gifts. We got in on a special and got a great rate. They are, however, sticklers that things be done their way and are unlikely to change things (like the decor) to meet your wants. Overall, we highly recommend the Grand Loft. It's worth the drive for KC area brides!

This place is no doubt extremely beautiful. However I was a bit disappointed with some things. First, the wooden floors are dirty. The bottom of my dress is filthy and there were dust bunnies in the chapel area under the chairs. The cake that you get from classic cakes and more when you buy the "all inclusive" was not very good. The cake I sampled at their open house was great. My wedding cake looked nice, but was lacking in taste. I payed Kathy the additional money to have her cut and serve the cake. She told me that the serving set and plates would be ready and by the cake. The MC announced that we were going to cut the cake. My husband and I walk up to the table looking dumbfounded because there was no serving set, plates, and the lighted fountain that was supposed to be on under the cake wasn't even on! So how did we cut the cake? They were nice enough to bring us a BUTCHER knife! I also had asked to have a few tables removed so that it would be more spaced out because their were far to many tables and chairs than I had guests. I was told they would be removed and spaced out. That never happened. Also, the head table is difficult for those brides that are wearing ball gown type dresses. It is hard to get back there in a big dress. Overall, the best I can say is it is a beautiful place just the way it is. But I was a bit let down in the end. I guess I expected more.

Our floors are swept, mopped, & shined following every single event. Unfortunately, guests have dirty shoes on when they come in, so they in turn track dirt & dust back across the floors. My very own dress was dirty following my wedding, however I had already planned to have it cleaned following the event, after having it cleaned & sealed for storage, it look brand new again! Grand Loft, nor any of it's staff members, will ever provide the cake cutting set, as this is a very personal item that 99% of brides want to pick out themselves. There may have been a misunderstanding, but to clarify to all future brides, we DO NOT provide your cake cutting set. We also do not remove any chairs or tables from the ballroom. We can add tables & chairs if you would like. As far as the cake goes, this is not provided by the Grand Loft, is provided by an outside vendor. This is the first complaint I've ever heard of about the cake, every other testimonial has mentioned how delicious it was. The head table is set up on the stage in the ballroom, the more people you seat at the head table the more crowded it feels, possibly making it seem difficult to maneuver your way around it with a big dress. Personally, I feel that if you are expecting more than 10 people to be seated at the head table, you may want to consider putting the bridesmaids & groomsmen at the first two round tables on the main floor of the ballroom (which still seats them near the head table) & keeping only the bride, groom, maid of honor, & best man on the stage.

The Venue was absolutely beautiful! The problem I had (and heard from others) was the attitude of the lady that owns Grand Loft! From the time we arrived til the time we left she was focused on the negative. I felt as if we were having the wedding in her living room while she was watching television! A complete invasion ! We were told when we signed the contract that we could place fake flowers in with their flowers to bring out the wedding colors. When we arrived for the wedding, flowers in hand we were told we could not! I would not recommend this place because of her attitude ! We did not in any way feel welcome !

We are sorry you feel this way. We have certain rules, in which we are strict on. In order to maintain the quality of our facility these rules are important. Adding flowers is allowed, however we do the adding/removal. Our centerpieces were professionally arranged & the idea that friends & family would be placing & removing flowers in our centerpieces would never work, as the arrangements would be negatively affected & rearranged. I am not sure why you wouldn't mention in your review that you got exactly what you asked for, which was your friends & family adding flowers to our arrangements & removing them, even after Kathy asked to please allow her to remove them. Regarding your ratings, I am a little confused on the responsiveness rating of 3, as I respond to any & all requests, whether made by phone or email, almost immediately, never allowing a request or question to go unanswered for more than 12 hours. Flexibility, receiving no stars, I believe we were more than flexible with every aspect of your event, even down to the flowers being added & removed by your people, which is against our policy. Not to mention the night of your rehearsal when Kathy was patient & had to wait, as the Bride was an hour late for the rehearsal. We also went above & beyond by allowing the Renaissance Dancers in, who left a rather large mess of dust & dirt across the entire dance floor, which required excessive clean up. This is the type of thing that we should keep part of the damage deposit for, but we did not keep any of it. We are in our ninth year now & this is the first negative review Kathy has ever had. This venue is so perfect! The ceremony room is set to a "T" and the reception area... just lovely! And the people in charge... Kathy, Claude, and family... excellent working with you!
