Grand Marquis made my Wedding perfect!! The ceremony and reception were set up beautifully!! Everyone was nice and attentive.. the food was delicious.. I loved that the inside of my cake was pink and the pink light up dome was amazing!!!!! I would highly recommend the Grand Marquis for their excellent food and wonderful service!!

Had out 10 year HS reunion here just last night. Everyone had a great time. Lauren was really easy to work with and was really helpful throughout the night. She knew i was busy all night, and made sure i had a drink in my hand the whole night. Food was great, staff was great. She made so many additions in which i had no idea was coming. You won't regret it if you go with Grand Marquis and talk to lauren. She truly is amazing.

There is simply not enough room here to RAVE about the Grand Marquis. Service, decor, attention, food, and the staff is second to none. When we first walked into the venue, it was clear that we would be treated with the singularly most amazing day of our lives. The Dome Room was beyond spectacular, and guests cannot stop raving about the food - oh the food!!! Guests thought if the cocktail hour was so good, that the dinner would suffer, but that was not the case. EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect and we could not have been any happier than to have our special ceremony and reception in THE place to be. Thank you to all the staff for making this beyond all our expectations!

For the most part, our experience with Grand Marquis was beyond wonderful. The venue couldn't be more beautiful, everybody raved about the food, most of the staff went out of its way to fulfill our every wish. The only problem was that sometimes communication would break down among the management staff, and at one point during the wedding this led one of the managers to snipe some rather unkind accusations AT THE BRIDE, right while she was sitting with her groom at the sweetheart table. How on Earth that manager thought the bride should be taken to task for musicians sitting where they weren't supposed to sit is really beyond me, but I hope that woman takes anger management and logic classes, because it was unprofessional, unkind, and illogical behavior on her part.

They were trully amazing and easy to work with. We recieved numerous compliments on the food from my guests! I would love to go back as a guest to another wedding here!

Grand marquis was where I had my wedding reception and they will go above and beyond to make your visual of your wedding come true ! Not only is it beautiful but the food is awesome not one thing but everything was delicious! The staff there are so generous and polite! I would definitely recommend them !

Grand Marquis did an absolutely incredible job on my wedding. Everyone who attended has had nothing but amazing things to say about them and the event as a whole. Grand Marquis took care of me and my guests and truly made my wedding one of the best days I have ever had. Every member of the staff was extremely attentive and all around pleasant. I can't tell you how many weddings I have been to where the staff acted like they clearly did not want to be there. That wasn't true at all with these guys. The staff made me feel like they were just as happy and excited as my guests were to be at my wedding.

They were accomodating on price, menu, date and time. They were always no more than a phone call away, and they always had a can do attitude. If they hadn't done something ever before, like my signature drink, they were willing to make it work. The execution was flawless. Truly a well oiled machine. From beginning to end, it was always a pleasant experience, and they always treated me and my wedding as if it were one of them and their wedding. I can't thank them enough.

I could go on and on about how wonderful our wedding was, but I can honestly say that I do not have one complaint or one thing that I would have changed about our wedding. I cannot thank the staff enough, and I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place for their wedding or other type of event. I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed!!! This venue gave us our fairytale wedding and every bride and groom should feel this way after their special day! Me and my husband would like to thank the entire grand marquis staff for making this day so exceptional. As a bride i was very scared as the day got closer and closer and i couldn't stop to wonder how everything was going to turn out especially the food and the cake. After the ceremony , i sent somebody to check the hall and give me a feedback through my matron on how everything looked before my guest could get there. To my surprise , the answer was exactly what i wanted to hear . I walked into the reception a happy bride and was ready to party . The service was good, the cake looked amazing and was just the bomb . the food was so good . All my guest were very happy . i wouldn't forget to thank Lauren the manager that i worked with. i remember talking to Lauren to help me make the decision on the color of napkins and table clothes . it was a little bit hard because I'm a perfectionist , She was very calm and helped with with i ideas that worked perfectly well for the modern wedding. Lauren thank you so much and i hope you are still at grand marquis. I will recommend this place to any bride. Its affordable and you get your moneys worth .

We defnitely made the right choice in choosing the Grand Marquis for our wedding reception. From the very beginning, Jodi was very thorough and provided excellent guidance in planning our event. Larry and Lauren also offered great guidance throughout the planning process. The Dome Room was so elegant...we had special uplighting which made the room look even more amazing. They certainly did live up to their reputation in offering the BEST cocktail hour. The food selection and quality was superb, as well as the beverages and specialty drinks. Even the presentation of the food was impressive. Our wedding was almost a month ago and people are still calling us and writing to us to let us know that we had the best wedding they've ever been to. Our Maitre d' was Colleen and she was absolutely amazing...she made us all feel like royalty; in fact, the entire staff was very friendly and helpful.

the grand marquis was the first venue we visited and they ruined us for everyone else. we visited 4 other venues- and there was no comparison. The grand marquis does everything for you and you are well taken care of- they make you feel like royalty. I know they say the most important things about the reception is a good dj & alcohol and that no one really remembers the meal- but people still can't stop talking about the cocktail hour! lol. You will not be disappointed if you choose the grand marquis- and you get so much more than what you pay for :)

I am thrilled that my husband and I chose The Grand Marquis as our wedding & reception venue. Lauren was absolutely amazing - we booked in mid 2009 and from the moment we booked through the day of our wedding Lauren guided us through it all. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were great. We opted for the vodka luge as part of our cocktail hour - it was a huge hit! Our guests could not stop raving - from the decor, the food, the service & the drinks. Wanda & her daughter were wonderful! Wanda made sure my husband and I had plenty to eat and drink. Side note - a special thanks to Joe who handled our wedding rehearsal - he was just the best. I am so thrilled with the Grand Marquis & can't thank them enough for being so wonderful and professional.

the Grand Marquis was the reception venue for my wedding on July 23, 2011. My guests and I were very impressed and very happy. The food was abundant and delicious and everyone said so. The dome room came to life that night and ppl. enjoyed taking pictures by the fountain outside. They had someone taking care of just my husband and I. they made sure we ate and had drinks.
the wedding day was beyond anything i had dreamed. Lauren was the girl taking care of me the day of and she made us feel so comfortable. She told us where to go and how to stand so that they pictures would come out beautiful and they did!

In terms of the planning, Jodi was the person helping me out. she was so good and so flexible. i called her a few times with issues and she made me feel so much better. for example, i thought maybe the place would look too big for 150 guests and she reassured me that they would organize it in such way that the room looks full. and it did! even though the place holds 225, my 150 looked like 200 that day. Also, i brought my things 2 days before the wedding and they took care of everything thereafter. they had the tables layed out exactly how i wanted them to.

I had an ice sculpture set up during cocktail hour and it looked very beautiful. oh and the cocktail hour is out of this world! half of my guests thought that was the actual dinner.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about The Grand Marquis. The price was the best price out of all the locations we visited in the area. the wedding reception looked like a million bucks! this price also included open bar. my husband and i upgraded some items in the bar. to do this, the grand marquis will buy the bottles for u and charge you actual retail price.

Lastly, I was scared because they provide the wedding cake but they don't have a tasting for it beforehand. the cake looked beautiful. I wasn't a fan of how it tasted - it wasn't bad, but it wasn't my favorite. however my guests seemed to like it. Either way, it did look beautiful in the pictures an the creme brulee and chocolate molte cake were magnificent. ppl are still talking about the dessert!!

When I first saw Grand Marquis' website, I figured this hall had to be too expensive to have our reception in, but once we met with the fabulous Lauren, we were pleased to know it was quite affordable! The staff was very professional and responsive to all our needs (which were a lot!) We were hesitant during part of our planning process because we found out there was another wedding at the same time as ours, plus a wedding right before ours. They pulled it off without us even knowing any other wedding was going on that day. We gave Lauren some special requests and she followed them perfectly. They made our wedding day run smoothly, constantly asking my husband and I, along with our parents and the rest of the guests if everything was to their liking. The dome room is beautiful, and we are so happy we chose the Grand Marquis to have our wedding reception!

I had my ceremony and reception here and was so glad we did. The staff was terrific, the food was excellent and the wedding was fantastic. My husband and I were very happy and would recommend to have an affair here to anyone.

Having our wedding at the Grand Marquis was both the easiest and best decision we made in the whole wedding planning process. After seeing the website and sitting down with Lauren to go over the menu, we figured it would be waaay out of our price range, but were ecstatic that it was such a good value. We visited a few other places close by that offered the same price range, but the GM blew them out of the water. In the months before our wedding, we worked with and got to know Lauren, Jody, and Larry, which really made us feel more comfortable about entrusting such an important day to the GM. We had our ceremony and reception in the Dome Room, which was beautiful. Colleen was our maitre'd, and she was FANTASTIC. One of the things that made us choose the GM was their professionalism- they did not seem fazed by any questions, and were able to accomodate us and our guests. My guests are still raving about the food- no one went home hungry, that's for sure! We went to a friend's wedding last weekend, and guests that had been at our wedding told us that the food at the GM was much better. I've had so many people tell me that it the best wedding they've ever been too, which is a great thing to hear after months of planning. It is definitely a day my husband and I will never forget, and we are so glad that we choose the GM!

Grand Marquis is amazing! I had both my wedding ceremony and reception here. The dome room was beautiful. I fell in love with it as soon as I walked in and the prices were very reasonable compared to all of the shopping around we had done. They went above and beyond for me and my family. The service we received was beyond exceptional. I could not have been happier. First off the place looked absolutely beautiful. It was clean and the staff was exceptional. We could not have been more pleased. From the beginning of my wedding process I had worked with Jodi who is just fabulous. She is so professional and so understanding. Our mater’d was also great. She was just so professional, organized, and friendly with us and everybody. I spoke to my other vendors and they were all extremely happy with Grand Marquis staff. They all found them so easy and accommodating to work with. My cake was AMAZING. I had provided a picture of the design I wanted the cake to look like and the cake came out EXACTLY the way I wanted it. All the guests loved it. It tasted phenomenal. To all newly engaged couples I would HIGHLY recommend Grand Marquis. They are definitely worth every penny. They truly know how to make your wedding special.

Where do I even begin? I was a flower girl seven times- all in big, crazy Italian weddings in NYC. I wanted every crazy detail I experienced as a child and The Grand Marquis delivered! They were easy to work with and aimed to please me, instead of me feeling like I had to fight with them for what I wanted. It never felt all about the money with them like I have heard other brides have to fight for what they want. They were delivering me a service and they wanted it to be the best. It WAS. No detail was missed and everyone had a personal waiter for drinks at their table. (Btw we had over 250 guests at our wedding.) My cake was AMAZING. The cocktail hour was out of this world! The food was DELICIOUS! Everyone is still talking about the wedding months later, but especially the food! (How many weddings have you gone to where people RAVE about the food?) We had at least three of our own personal attendants. They wouldn't let me lift a finger or get my own food all night! Also, I thought the price was high at the time, but now I am seeing others plan their wedding and pay almost double for what I had, so you definitely get a lot for your money! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them! They are nice people and do an AMAZING job, not to mention the place is gorgeous too!

The Grand Marquis made our wedding day magical! They were some of the most pleasant and genuine vendors I had the pleasure of working with. they were very attentive and open to our needs and suggestions, and were willing to work around my budget and schedule to create the perfect day. The venue itself was clean, well kept, stylish, and elegant. The managers had wonderful public relation and hospitality skills that won us over instantly.The service was impeccable and the food was sooo delicious! Our guests bragged about the wedding venue for months after the wedding. I really can't say enough great things about this place.

Lauren and Larry are amazing! Our day couldn't have went more perfect because of the Grand Marquis. We totally trusted them with some surprises and WOW, they were fantastic. We got to actually sample all the food from our cocktail hour as the staff gave us our own private table. Anything that we needed, we got....and more! Our guests are still raving about what a great time and what a wonderful experience they had at our wedding...especially the vodka luge and mini milkshake shots!! Thank you Grand Marquis for making our day special, amazing and absolutely perfect. We really hope that our friends have their weddings here so we can go back and experience it all again!!!

I can go on forever about the wonderful wedding that the Grand Marquis planned for us. Lauren is the absolute best to work with and was on top of everything. Not only did she make everything we wanted beautiful, she bustled my dress when my bridesmaids were still partying on the bus, and her and Larry went above and beyond with surprises for us and our guests throughout the entire night. From the pre-cocktail martini lounge, to the bacon station, to the ice bar, to the exceptional service (my mother spilled champagne on her dress and within 3 min. Larry had a blow dryer and the stain was gone), to the mini hot-dog stand as guests were leaving,...we can't thank the Grand Marquis enough! Having Lauren was like having a fairy Godmother...absolutely amazing!

when I started to plan our wedding, i had never heard of the grand marquis (i was more familiar with banquet halls in the somerset/bridgewater area) but was pretty much sold when I first met with Lauren. We booked the Marquis room, and after that the whole process was smooth sailing! Whenever needed, a phone call or e-mail was always returned (not necessarily in 5 minutes, but if you're not neurotic then it's not big deal) with a pleasant response.
The whole planning process was very easy, and their flexibility with the menu was outstanding! My hubby and I were able to personalize our cocktail hour to inlcude a "Yankee Stadium Station" with sliders, hot dogs, etc. Lauren helped us pick an amazing menu start to finish that really wow-ed our guests. Anyone that had been to the Grand Marquis before told me the food was outstanding, so it had a lot to live up to by the time we got there, but it delivered well beyond our expectations!!
When by bridesmaids were missing, Lauren bustled my dress for me... the captain for the evening had a sampler plate of the cocktail food waiting for us, and my husband and I actually got to EAT our wedding food!! (something I've heard is often hard to do).
There was another party going on across the way in the Dome Room, but the only way you would have known that was if you were smoking outside and saw other guests and at the end of the night when everyone was leaving.
Overall, I would book the Grand Marquis again in a heartbeat, and I cannot thank them enough for giving us a wedding we will never ever forget!

My husband and I were married in October of 2010 at the great Grand Marquis! The room, the food, the service, the attention to all the little details that I requested, you name it, it was all absolutly amazing!!!. A special Thank You to Lauren, for making everything beautiful for us.

another 5 star group. I stumbled upon the grand marquis early in my planning. I saw the dome room and fell in love. These people do everything for you.. they are accomodating, friendly and know their business. I worked mostly with Jodi and Lauren, but by my wedding day, pretty much knew everyone there. My family and friends are still raving about the quality and quantity of food.

Grand Marquis is amazing! I just had our wedding there in August 2010, and everyone was so happy with everything...the food, place, decor, service, and everything you can imagine were unbelievably wonderful! Larry and his staff were absolutely amazing. They worked with us to create the wedding we want-complete with cultural twists and a custom menu. My husband and I got everything we wanted. The value was great, the venue very pretty and Larry was wonderful. The staff was great and our guests loved the event.

After looking at about 10 different venues my fiance' and I selected Grand Marquis because the food was delicious at the tasting and we loved the dome room. 4 days before my wedding I spoke with Laura on the phone who told me that they would not be able to provide me with the cake that I had asked them to make for me a few months prior. I became worried but she reassured me that they would have my cake ready just as I had requested it. I meant to follow up with them but I was so busy that week. The day of, I almost cried when I saw our cake! It was beautiful and looked just like it did in the picture! During cocktail hour I realized that there was a misunderstanding and two guests showed unexpectedly! I notified Larry and he saved the day by seamlessly rearranging the seating and told us not to worry at the time about paying for the two extra guests. Colleen was our maitre d and she did a fabulous job of keeping things running smoothly throughout the night. The service was excellent. The food was delicious and looked elegant. The price was very reasonable. The only hiccup that occurred was at the end of the night when by accident one table did not receive cake and I notified the wait staff. The next minute every one was served and happy. When we were leaving Larry told us not to worry about paying for the two extra guests. My husband and I were overwhelmed by Larry's good deed. The staff at the Grand Marquis takes great care in what they do and we are very happy we chose this as our wedding venue.

My husband and I were looking for a reception hall that had great food, service and a beautiful location. We found all these qualities in The Grand Marquis. Joe & Larry were very accommodating to our requests and all our guests were raving about how excellent the service and food was. We've been to other weddings where I've seen the maitre d order / rush the couple along a strict schedule. We were never "rushed" or "ordered" to do anything. Joe, our maitre d, worked behind the scenes to make sure that everything ran smoothly and successfully. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves, which is the way it should be! Most of our older guests did not speak English and they accommodated by ensuring that they had staff that spoke our native language. It was important that we get to eat, so they set up a private pre-cocktail hour for us in the bridal suite.

The only con was our guests were dissatisfied with the small portions of meat given during cocktail hour. Although they were permitted to go back on a long line for seconds, they were only given a very thin slice. When they complained about the small portion, they were only given a second equally thin slice. As for the roast pig, it is considered good luck in our culture. However, I was disappointed that we were only given a small pig (2/3 the size of the carving table). There was not enough roast pig for every guest. We did not even get a piece for ourselves, because it was the first item gone! We thought that they would have given us enough roast pig to accommodate all our guests, but this was not the case.

We had our wedding at Grand Marquis on Sunday, March 21, 2010 & it was just amazing! From the moment we booked, we felt confident everything would be wonderful & we were right! The special attention we were given was incredible. From the gorgeous presentation of food & ice sculptures in the cocktail hour & scrumptious meal & deserts at the reception, to the superb service & attention we were given during the affair, it was outstanding. The hospitality of the owners & staff made us feel like family. We couldn't have asked for more!

We almost didn't go with the Grand Marquis because they were out of our budget, but they worked with us and we were able to have our dream wedding without spending a crazy amount :)
They're really great people. Extremely helpful, returned calls right away, worked with us so we got exactly what we wanted.
Their packages include so much. The wedding cake was delicious, but I couldn't eat any more than a bite because I was so full from all the other wonderful food. We also got an ice sculpture in the shape of whatever we wanted. We picked two penguins :P
I can't think of anything negative at all to say. Definitely the best venue in the area for the amount of money you spend.

The Grand Marquis went above and beyond for me and my wedding. The service we received was beyond exceptional. I could not have been given more in any way. We could not of had anymore food and choices. Our guest were blown away. The cocktail hour was amazing. Not only was the food superb, it was arranged and decorated beautifully. This carried on through out the evening, ending with a never ending dessert train to satisify all 300 guest of ours. The service we recieved made us feel like celebrity's for the evening. They met all our wishes and even remembered little things we said we liked and made it happen that evening to our surprise. You are guaranteed to have an exceptional reception if you book with them.

Where do I begin to thank Jody and Lauren for making our wedding day the best day of our lives! From the we met Jody and Lauren they were so patient, helpful, friendly, courtesy, and not to mention understanding of our needs. Each and every time over this past year they never made me feel like I couldn’t talk to them or stop by with any concerns I had. Their suggestions and help made the planning process go off without any hitches!!! My husband and I felt like a king and queen on our wedding day at the Grand Marquis. We were overwhelmed by the fact that we not only had Jody there but her husband Larry and Joe as well. I was speechless and it takes a lot to make me speechless. My husband can’t stop talking about how wonderful Lauren was the entire night. She is a unbelievable employee and the Grand Marquis should feel privileged to have her as an employee. Also, the impeccable service from the rest of the staff went above and beyond anything we could have ever imagined. Each and everyone at the Grand Marquis should be commended with the way they handled our wedding. Also, I can’t say enough about the pastry chef and what a fabulous job she did on the desserts. Her talents are exceptional. I have had nothing but phone call after phone call about what a great wedding and time everyone had. Everyone said the food was delicious and the service was extraordinary! My sister-in-law and another friend said their water glasses were never empty the entire night. Everyone told me I left no stone unturned and there wasn’t a person who didn’t have a fantastic time. I would not have been able to do it without the help from Jody and Lauren at the Grand Marquis!

I had 275 guests at my November 2009 wedding. They all came up to me during the wedding and called me afterwards to tell me "THIS WAS THE BEST WEDDING I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!" I credit that entirely to the Grand Marquis. I looked at 7 other banquet halls, and once I sat down with Lauren Mazor at the Grand Marquis, I knew that it was the right one. She was amazing throughout the entire process, explaining everything, calling me to follow up on how my planning was going.... I had her on speed dial and she became more of a friend to me than anything else! Jodi and Larry (the owners/managers) do an amazing job of making you feel like they are all on board to make your event a successful and memorable event... and mine certainly was. My guests said "I have never tasted such amazing food at a wedding- and there was so much of it!" We had our cocktail hour in the Dome Room with plenty of stations, and then our reception with dinner and dessert in the Marquis Room. Joe and Lauren were the best maitre'd's- always making sure that the guests and my bridal party had everything we needed. The Grand Marquis adds special touches to make your day unique- signature drinks, ice scupltures, amazing food and service, and surprises for you, too!! They added things to our dessert hour that we didn't order- just to make it extra special! I would recommend them to anyone. They truly made my wedding a day that no one will ever forget.

The most amazing experience I had was at the Grand Marquis. Colleen was so wonderful and helpful. And Wanda was forcing me to eat, which was so cute! We couldn't get over the quality of service. Always making sure we were happy and taken care of. All along the way Jody & Lauren made sure we were happy and that what we wanted on our special day was there...even down to the 6-pack of Smithwhicks my husband wanted! We love them and they made our wedding a dream come true!

Honestly, we have no idea where to start!?!? We’re actually getting emotional writing this review about the Grand Marquis and their staff. We visited six venues before we went to the Grand Marquis. As soon as we walked in and met the staff, we knew this was the place. We were greeted at the door like we were movie stars and this was just for the initial meeting. We did our due diligence and visited one other venue, after the Grand Marquis, but we already knew… The Grand Marquis was were we wanted to have our wedding.

As soon as me met Lauren we knew this was it. We’re not sure if there’s enough space on the Wedding Wire review page to comment about Lauren and the spectacular job the Grand Marquis did! Lauren was friendly, personable, outgoing, spontaneous, innovated… we can keep going on forever. Lauren was receptive to our ideas plus put her own spin on a few things. It was a match made in heaven! Planning a wedding is not easy, and when we asked Lauren any questions via email she got right back to us. That was very important to us. She was totally professional and very gracious. She makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed which is hard when you have 1001 things to do.

Jody, Larry and Joe were equally as magnificent too. They did everything you could imagine to make us feel comfortable and most of all, make our day special. They are like a family you want to become a part of…between making sure all the details are correct and the place looking flawless and smelling gorgeous…it was perfect. The moment right before I walked down the aisle, I dropped lipstick on my dress in TWO spots… My maid of honor and Jody worked so hard with the Shout wipes to get it out. And they did! Jody was there telling me to take a deep breathe and I was will always remember that moment. Just love her. They through in a couple of surprises throughout the night, which was blew our expectations.

We had our ceremony and reception in the Dome room. It was absolutely stunning. Some of our guests didn’t even realize it was the same room. They flipped the room during cocktail hour from the romantic ceremony to a lavish dining ceremony. The venue was outstanding, the food was 5 STAR and the staff was stupendous!!! Definitely the place for your reception!!!

MY WEDDING WAS HERE AND I CANT SAY ENOUGH! THE COCKTAIL HOUR WAS AMAZING, ALTHOUGH I KICK MYSELF FOR NOT EATING! THEY WERE VERY ACCOMODATING AND EVERYONE RAVED ABOUT IT BEING ONE OF THE BEST WEDDING THEY HAVE BEEN TO. THE ROOM WE HAD (THE DOME ROOM) LOOKS SO AMAZING AT NIGHT AND THE TRANSITION FROM CEREMONY TO RECEPTION WAS PERFECT! FOR THE PRICES AND SERVICE IT BEATS ALL. I JUST NEED SOMEONE I KNOW TO HAVE THEIR WEDDING THERE SO I CAN ENJOY AS A GUEST!!

Words cannot describe how the reception was... but I've heard from our guests:

Gorgeous.
Beautiful.
Friendly Staff.
A glass was never empty.
The food was AMAZING!
The best wedding they've ever been to.
Never seen anything like this before.


Personally, we wouldn't have had it at any other place, the staff is amazing to work with and they help as much as possible. We're looking forward to having another event there in the future!

I was very satisfied with their decor and food choices. They were very helpful with my pickiness. I just wish I would have had a chance to eat the cocktail hour!

OMG! Words cannot describe that the Grand Marquis truely made me feel like a princess for the day. We looked at dozens of venues near the NJ shore to hold our reception & I was about to give up when I remembered a wedding I went to 10 years earlier! This place only gets better! Our guest simply raved - I thought nothing could top the cocktail hour until we saw the way the brought in the dessert! Wish our wedding was a little bit smaller or lasted 8 hours to truely be able to experience it. We had 200+ guests - all of which said this was one of the bests weddings ever & loved all of the food. Kelvin was amazing to work with - anything I could think of he was there to accomodate.

I had both my ceremony and reception here. The transition between the rooms was seamless. The dome room was beautiful. I fell in love with it as soon as I walked in and then the prices were very reasonable compared to all of the shopping around I had done. The food was delicious. The cocktail room was somewhat small (the one associated to the dome room) but I did have the max amount of people for the room. However, there were a lot of tables during the cocktail hour which was very nice. They were very catering to the bride and groom. We had private cocktail hour for ourselves which was down in the bridal suite by the time we got there. And our drinks were always full the rest of the night. They were short staffed on waiters due to some quiting after the afternoon bat mitzvah so the food came out a little later than we had anticipated which was somewhat of an issue for the grandparents but if that is the worst that happens on your wedding day, then all in all I would call it a great night. At least it was worth the wait and stil hot! In hindsight I can honestly say I would not have changed a thing.

The place was gorgeous. They were able to give us a great deal because the wedding was sunday afternoon rather than in the evening. They were willing to work with us so we could have what we wanted. They allowed us to bring in a kosher caterer and obtained the kosher wines we wanted to have at the event and made delicious sangrias (to go along with our wine theme). The rooms were gorgeous and they were a delight to work with.

Finding a place to fit over 350 guests four our syrian/portuguese wedding wasn't easy. They made it work

I used the Grand Marquis for my wedding reception (~190 guests) and I had a truly great experience. They were extremely profession, nice and accommodating. We booked them within a day. They gave us a reasonable rate and all the information upfront. The halls were beautiful and the staff were great. They called us when it was time to set the menu, and sat down with us for as long as it took to pick out options. The one thing I would have changed was to have a small tasting menu when picking the menu.

The folks at the Grand Marquis were absolutely wonderful. My husband and I had looked at about 15 different venues for our reception. However, when we met Larry, we absolutely fell in love. He was incredibly professional and attentive and delivered on every promise. During our food tasting, we happened to mention that my father loved port wine. On the day of our wedding, Larry brought a few bottles of port to my father's table, just like that. It's was all about the little things with the Grand Marquis. It was the best money my dad spent, and he'll agree to that as well.

One thing I do suggest is, if you have the money, get the Venetian-style dessert table. It is an experience. First, they turn off all the lights in the hall. Then, while it's dark they bring in tables upon tables of yummy desserts. And, afterwards, they turn the lights on, have a light show, and there in the middle of the dance floor are these decadent desserts.

I can't say enough positive things about the Grand Marquis. It was affordable, and my guests couldn't stop talking about who good the food and service was. I can't wait for my little sister to get married so we can plan her wedding there.

The Grand Marquis was awesome and helped us have a great wedding! From traditional food options to a accommodating staff. Everything was perfect at the Grand Marquis. Would recommend this place to anyone planning a wedding.

We all enjoyed the food, service and space of this venue. The restaurant, staff, host was wonderful. They made sure everything was perfect. I couldn't ask for anything better. The cocktail hour was amazing had everything you could imagine. Dinner was great and the Venetian table was awesome, full of great desserts, fruits, chocolate etc.
I highly recommend.
