My wedding turned out perfect thanks to the Grand Oaks Staff, they were there to help me every step of the way. The venue is amazing and I recieved a million compliments on how everything turned out on Our special day. All my needs and wants were found in Grand Oaks and it couldn't have been more beautiful. They truly took care of everything and made sure everything was perfect. Grand Oaks is a place where all your dreams come true.

After 1.5 years of engagement, my fiancé and I decided to tie the knot on Sunday, April 15th 2012. As we planned our wedding, we always knew that 1) we wanted an outdoor ceremony, and 2) we wanted both the reception and ceremony to take place at the same venue. As we began our venue search, we quickly realized that while there are numerous venues in the Central Ohio vicinity, few served to meet our needs while staying within budget.

I found Grand Oaks Event and Business Center while searching through venues on weddingwire.com. I had previously found a venue in Gahanna that my fiancé and I fell in love with. However, after nearly 2 months of speaking with this venue, they informed me that my date was “already booked” about 30 minutes after I sat with the manager and paid the deposit! They said that they did not check the calendar, and accidently overbooked, which immediately proved they were unorganized. I was devastated, knowing that I had to start from square one. When I found Grand Oaks, Haley Bateson, my event Coordinator, scheduled me to tour the venue on a late Thursday (which was perfect for my work schedule). Although I ran a bit behind, Haley remained extremely cordial, professional, and enthusiastic. Haley’s demeanor and positive attitude instantly sold me, in addition to the PERFECT setting of Grand Oaks. If you are looking for a venue that is undeniably personal, affordable, and built to dine Kings and Queens, you do not need to look further than Grand Oaks! Needless to say, it is not just the breathtaking and exquisite scenery and greenery of the venue that sold us. Throughout my 7 months of working with Grand Oaks, I developed an amazing respect for EACH AND EVERY employee of Grand Oaks, including the owners, Randy and Peggy. Half-way through my planning, we found out that not only were we expecting a great wedding, but we were also expecting our first baby together. One can’t imagine the pressure of planning a wedding AND planning for a newborn! Nevertheless I can honestly say that Haley and the Grand Oaks crew made planning my wedding stress free, enjoyable, and undeniably worth all of my hard work planning.

In terms of the venue itself: it is set and built for Kings and Queens! The outdoor setting features an oversized patio with a beautiful fireplace for evening weddings, and Grand Oaks provides games for children and guests during cocktail hour (corn hole, golf-putt, etc). Additionally, the Bridesmaids Suite and Groom’s rooms are perfectly spaced for large bridal parties (our bridal party was 16 deep!), and they even provided complimentary Champagne (non-alcoholic for me and baby, of course) for relaxation prior to the wedding. There is a piano that is programmed to play specific varieties of music for the cocktail hour, which also saves the expense of paying extra for a band. There are also flat screens throughout the venue for slideshows and pics to be played during the reception. The grand ballroom is perfectly lit and spaced for a large number of guests, and when completely decorated, words can’t describe how superb and personable this room becomes.
For the money you would spend at other venues, Grand Oaks, I found, provided the absolute best value and package options to make a perfect wedding date. There were NO hidden charges: everything was disclosed to us upfront, and each time a change was made, Haley emailed me an updated invoice which allowed me to track my wedding expenses a lot easier. Additionally, I loved how Grand Oaks provides a wide variety of Caterers to choose from so that you are not restricted to one Company. There are add-ons (for lighting, decorations, table settings, etc.), but what I loved about the add-ons is the more you add, the bigger discount you received which also lightened our wedding expense.

I can honestly say that NOT ONE day passed where I was stressed about the planning process. Haley and Grand Oaks literally took care of EVERY single detail of my wedding: I simply provided my vision. Haley remained in direct contact with me, even when she traveled to Florida to participate in her friend’s wedding. In her absence, Cori stepped right in and I never felt like I was alone in this process. I even received personal emails from Haley that were totally unrelated to the wedding, just to check on me and my unborn child. Together, Haley and the Grand Oaks crew absolutely PERFECTED my wedding day from Day 1. On the day of the wedding, I arrived early to make sure everything was set in order. The only problem was, THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for me to do! I dropped my decorations off on Saturday, and the following day of my wedding, Sunday, the outdoor setting was flawless: beautiful green landscaping, chairs set up perfectly, and the gazebo was beautifully decorated with the décor my mother provided. Grand Oaks tracked the weather the week before, and Haley updated me with back up plans in the case of rain, which was extremely re-assuring. Another thing I loved about Grand Oaks is that it was not just Haley that made my planning process stress-free. Every member of the Grand Oaks team GENUINELY cared about my ceremony and reception, and they were ALL present to ensure that every single detail was flawless. If there was a hiccup on my wedding day, I still don’t know about it, because both Haley and Peggy refused to interrupt my day with little distractions. Even after the wedding, I continued to receive emails about my baby, the honeymoon, and a beautiful card and wedding gift from the Grand Oaks team. There are no words to describe my sincere gratitude to Grand Oaks: they have an absolutely remarkable team, and their working dynamics are absolutely incomparable: good luck finding it anywhere else!

As a control freak and perfectionist, I spent every day in a nine-month time period planning the details of my own wedding; from the bridesmaid and flower-girl dresses to the save the dates and invitations. We even made the centerpieces and bridal bouquets, and thanks to Grand Oaks, none of my hard work was done in vain. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Haley Bateson, Cori, Peggy and Randy, and anyone else that represented Grand Oaks. My family raved about the beauty of Grand Oaks, and because Grand Oaks is relatively new compared to other aged venues, not many people know about it. So I HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone reading this review to book a tour with Grand Oaks if you are searching for a venue that is affordable, PERFECT for outdoor/indoor ceremonies, and are looking to work with a group of individuals who are willing to accommodate you in every possible way to make your wedding day perfect and unforgettable. Grand Oaks is a hidden gem located in Grove City. The venue was absolutely beautiful and it exceeded all of our expections. Our reception was amazing and I wouldn't change a thing. The owners Randy and Peggy are wonderful and you can tell they really care about the success of their venue. I would highly recommend Grand Oaks to any future bride!

We feel that our overall experience at/with Grand Oaks was nothing less than perfect. Our event planner connected us with all of the right people. Great experience does not require a wedding planner. The staff at Grand Oaks went above and beyond to create an intimate evening. Would use them again without reservations.

I don't even know where to begin when it comes to how wonderful Grand Oaks is. We booked our October wedding there in August 2010 before they were open. From the moment I met Peggy and Cori (the coordinator) and saw the location, I knew I was done looking for a venue. The decor is simple but elegant. There are so many little things that they thought of. When we were taking our tour, we were "ohh-ing and ah-inh" at the bathrooms and coat closet. Cori was absolutely amazing. She was always prompt about answering all of my questions and was always a pleasure to work with. Come time for our wedding, my now husband was shocked about how awesome Cori and Haley were and didn't realize all of the little things they do to make the entire day run smoothly. The location is great for an indoor or outdoor wedding and the ballroom is stunning! I can't thank the grand oaks staff enough for making and running such a perfect wedding venue. They helped make my wedding day everything I had hoped it would be and more!

Grand Oaks is simply amazing! We went to visit and once we took a tour, we left to go to the next venue on our list, then quickly turned around to book Grand Oaks before we lost it. We absolutely loved everything about Grand Oaks. The staff is incredibly helpful and sincere in their service! I love the fact that you actually work with the venue owners and that they are so involved in the process. We had such a great time at our wedding and everything was beautiful! If anything went wrong, we sure didn't know about it. We had several compliments on the decor and how wonderful everything was. We would not hesitate to suggest Grand Oaks to anyone. We couldn't be happier with our decision!!!

Most brides know that planning a wedding can be somewhat overwhelming. In August of 2010, we began to look for a venue for our September 2011 wedding. With every venue, we had our likes and dislikes. When we scheduled our appointment with Grand Oaks, we assumed that this appointment would turn out like all of the others before…leaving us wonder if we would ever find that place that we both loved. When we went to Grand Oaks for the first time, they had not officially hosted their first event. From the time that we arrived, Grand Oaks felt different than all of the other venues that we had visited. Rick and I met with the owners, Randy and Peggy Mosher. There were very kind, personable and willing to spend the necessary time with us to show us around the facility. After meeting with the Moshers, hearing their story as to how Grand Oaks came about and seeing all the details that made this venue unique…we knew that we had found the perfect place to host our wedding and reception. Shortly after signing our contract, we began the planning process with Grand Oaks. The event manager, Cori Rapp was a blessing over the next several months. She was there to help with all of the details to make our day perfect. Cori was there to answer any questions and was great with wedding advice. She was always very punctual and professional in responding requests or emails.

After a year of planning and working so close with the staff at Grand Oaks, it all came down to our wedding day on September 17th, 2011. Unfortunately, Cori was unable to be at Grand Oaks the day of our wedding; however this allowed us the opportunity to once again work with Randy and Peggy Mosher. As they were the first time we met them, the Moshers were wonderful that day. From our rehearsal that morning until the last guest left that evening, they did everything and more to help our wedding be a success. All of the details that had been so perfectly planned out came together beautifully. That evening, we had nothing but compliments from our family and friends about how perfect the day was! If I had to do it all over again, I would not change anything. Rick and I will always be thankful that we chose to host our wedding at Grand Oaks. All of the staff at Grand Oaks deserves to be recognized for the hard work they do each day to make every wedding special. We are grateful for all they did to make our day special.

Grand Oaks was everything we had hoped for in a wedding venue. Both ceremony and reception were in the same location. We were able to choose our own caterer, the staff is very professional. The owners put so much thought into everything when designing this venue. State of the art equipment, neutral colors, wall washing lights, beat responsive LEDs for the dance floor, gorgeous gazeebo etc. The best quality and value for the price. All our guests couldn't stop raving about the venue we chose. Everything was perfect for our special day.

I spent a year planning my wedding and Grand Oaks was the first venue we looked at, and we fell in love. Through-out the entire year I had questions, concerns and decisions that needed made and Grand Oaks was right by my side to help. I emailed Cori a lot, and her responsive time was always quick. Even though they have a wedding or two every weekend, every time I was there I felt special and as if my wedding was their primary concern. Our wedding and reception were absolutely perfect, and for what we paid for.... the experience and memories were priceless :)

I had a wonderful experience at Grand Oaks. I was actually one of the first brides to book the new venue before it was even built. I met with the owners at their home and decided it was for me just by looking at a blueprint and a 3D model. I got to see the venue as it was being built and once it was complete, it was everything I expected and more. The facility itself is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is wonderful; they make you feel like part of their family. We had an easy time planning everything with them from start to finish. The day of the wedding was ran so smoothly. They were there for anything that I needed and made sure everything was perfect for my special day. I couldn't be more happy. I have recommended this place to several people and will continue to do so.

We got married at Grand Oaks Event and Business Center on July 16, 2011. There has not been a day since then that we have not thought back to our wedding day with pure amazement at the perfection of the day. When I first began looking for venues, very few could accomodate my guest list. Grand Oaks could accomodate them for the wedding and the reception, and right away I could tell that the staff was very professional and comitted to making our wedding a dream come true. The facility is perfect for an elegegant and fancy wedding and reception. The staff is extremely accomodating to help make your day special. We have no regrets with selecting Grand Oaks as the cite of our special day because it was perfect in every way. I highly recommend this venue for everyone, so please check it out!

This event center is brand new and absolutly beautiful! From the first tour I knew this was the place. The place that in years from now I will look back on and know that we made the right decision for our wedding. When my husband and I were looking, a lot of the venues were very costly for the budget. This venue had it all across the board! With Grand Oaks we got to choose our own caterer, and make it exacily what we wanted for our special day! Not to forget the service that was provided with the venue was astounding! Never a empty glass! You need to get in and take a look for your self!!! :)

We just had our wedding at Grand Oaks on April 29, 2011 and thanks to the owners, Peggy and Randy, and our event manager, Cori, everything was perfect! Grand Oaks is beautifully designed, they really thought of everything when it was built. They have several chandeliers throughout the property, plenty of outlets in the bride's room and TV's in both the bride's room and the groom's room. There is even a huge private bathroom just for me! We viewed the facility before it was completely finished and fell in love with it! Everyone is very friendly, answering all of our questions and concerns. We planned our wedding from out of town with the help of my parents and everyone at Grand Oaks was very helpful, even when we would drop in unannounced while in town.

On the day of our wedding Peggy, Randy and Cori were there the entire day making sure that everything was set up perfectly. They were always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and were calm.

I loved the entire experience with Grand Oaks and could not imagine having my wedding anywhere else! It is so beautiful and everything really was perfect!

Wedding planning can be so chaotic, but Grand Oaks Event and Business Center was the most soothing part to my wedding chaos. From the moment Jared and I walked into Grand Oaks, we knew it would be the place we would finally say “I do” at. From the owners to the planners and of course their event staff, everyone was so kind and enjoyable to work with. The entire staff ensured everything went so perfectly the day of the wedding. They accommodated for our large bridal party and 200 guests for the ceremony that was set up in front of the beautiful fireplace. The bridal entrance made you feel just like a princess. It was perfection. The reception was also set up to fit our large bridal party. It was absolutely gorgeous from the classic sleek look of the grand ballroom itself to the modern suspended ceiling with differentiating levels. Even the bathrooms were beautiful, my girls and I even took pictures in there! I would certainly recommend Grand Oaks to brides looking for a beautiful place with exceptional staff. It truly takes a load of the stress of planning.

Grand Oaks is so beautiful. I received so many compliments about how wonderful it was. I would definitely recommend Grand Oaks. You will definitely not be disappointed. The staff is awesome and I couldn't imagine having my wedding anywhere else.

Grand Oaks is a 5 star venue. The facility and the staff were awesome. The grounds and facility are perfect for photo opps and the staff attended to our every need. All the amenities, from the Bride's private dressing room, the men's lounge, and restrooms with lounge areas were immaculate and impressive in decor. I would highly suggest this venue, and I thank them for making my daughter's wedding reception something our family and friends will never forget.

My husband and I were extremely happy with Grand Oaks. My husband was in Iraq, I was attending the University of Cincinnati and my parents were in New Jersey, Cori and Peggy did an amazing job accommodating us when we needed something. On the day of the wedding they took care of everything from timing to the vendors. The venue is gorgeous and little decorations from your part are necessary. If you do choose Grand Oaks I would also recommend PC catering, who did a wonderful job.

Our reception and wedding at Grand Oaks was phenomenal! It turned out beautifully, the staff was great and helped us with everything we needed. They are not real flexible with when your vendors can get in but otherwise everything worked out great!!

Included in your ceremony fee you get an additional hour of rental, use of our Bridal Suite and Groom's Room, an hour and a half for your ceremony rehearsal, and 4 hours early access to Grand Oaks before your guest arrival to prep for your big day!

A basic linen package in included with your rental. You can always upgrade your linens and add additional items such as chair covers/sashes for a rental fee.
What is your staff-to-guest ratio?
Our staff-to-guest ratio is usually 1:50 or 1:75, but we take the details of each event into consideration.
Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?
We have an exclusive caterers list for clients to choose from. As far as other vendors go, we have a "Suggested Vendors" list, but clients are not required to choose from the companies listed.
Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion?
On Saturdays and Sundays we typically require a full-facility rental. Monday-Friday we do partial-facility and hourly rentals based on the space needed. We have a Ballroom that divides into 3 rooms, the Gallery, Oak Room, and a full outdoor patio and lawn.
Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
No, Grand Oaks holds a liquor license so all beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) must be purchased and served through us. *Special exceptions are made if the beverage is a specialty item unable to be provided by Grand Oaks.
What restrictions (if any) on decorations?
No Glitter/No Confetti/No Open Flame (candles must be in a holder)
Does your venue often accommodate more than one event at a time?
We only do one wedding per day. If the event is a partial facility rental (Monday-Friday Social or Corporate only), there is the possibility of another small event occuring at the same time.
Do you offer security, if requested?
We can arrange for a uniformed security guard to be present during your event for a fee.
Can you provide a coat check?
We can arrange for a Grand Oaks staff member to provide coat check services for a fee. Clients are welcome to use the coat check as needed (no staff member) complimentary.

Our restrooms are impeccable! The men's has 4 stalls, 5 urinals, and 4 sinks while the ladies' room has 8 stalls and 6 sinks. We offer complimentary amenities in both the women's and the men's restroom and the ladies' room even has a lounge to relax in!
