A very Beautiful Place to stay but very pricy. The Bathroom and Bedroom were large. The hotel has lots of different pools, one specifically for adults which was nice although I would have to say it seemed to be more of a family resort. Not too many young honeymooners to meet. We were a little disappointed in the beverage service at the pool. It was extremely slow. Many times we had to get up from our lounge chair to find a waitress to order drinks from . It was a little frustrating considering the amount of money we were spending there on food and the room. We still had an incredible and very memorable time. The location was also nice. Very close to lots of other fun towns to explore.

This is such a beautiful hotel! We got married here and everything was perfect. The coordinator I worked with was sweet, the grounds were lovely and the beach was great. We kept it realy small because of the price, but it was definitely worth every penny!

The Grand Wailea is a beautiful place to stay during your wedding. They made sure that everything went smoothly and it seemed like very employee knew we were getting married at the restaurants, the spa, the pool... everywhere we went! The cost was a little high for all of our guests, so only a few people stayed here with us. They also upgraded not only our room, but BOTH sets of parents! I know my coordinator called in a favor for that one, which was a great surprise for everyone.

**************** SPA REVIEW ONLY**************

I took my bridesmaids and the moms here the day before the wedding for some girl time. The staff treated us amazingly and we had the best time! All of the services were great, and they had the cool baths that let us all hang out together someone other than the steam room. Plus, since I booked with my coordinator who "knows people" I got a complimentary upgrade to my massage (90 minutes) and all sorts of freebies for my girls. That was awesome!

We stayed at the Grand Wailea the week of our wedding. We received a complimentary upgrade to a top floor suite, which was amazing! The entire time was incredible. But keep in mind that some of the staff is not always full of 5 star service. The valet and the bell desk were down right rude. Otherwise, the stay was fantastic.

The Grand Wailea will try to find any way they can to charge you for things.

We decided to get married in the Chapel. It's a beautiful place and knew that it was perfect for us when we saw the first photos.

At every point of working with the Grand Wailea, they tried to make up charges. For power. For water service. For the rehearsal. I am so glad I had a wedding coordinator who knew how to talk to them. Any time they would sent me something it was wrong and over charging us. Our coordinator would then start the fight with them. It was nice having someone on our side, because the hotel certainly wasn't.

We spent our week long honeymoon at the Grand Wailea Resort. We stayed in a garden view room which was fine since we spent our days at the beach and pools. Our room was very pretty, clean and comfortable. We loved lounging at the Hibiscus Pool where we ordered drinks poolside and enjoyed a cabana massage. We felt the staff was very friendly and helpful. We chose to stay at a resort because we wanted to have restaurants within walking distance! We enjoyed several of their restaurants but enjoyed breakfast up on the balcony overlooking the fountains the best!

Me and the girls went to the spa the day before our wedding. What a good decision! The massages were amazing. But even better were these things they call the terme baths. Basically, instead of going into a waiting room or lobby before your treatments, you get to go into this oasis of heaven! Lots of aromatherapy tubs, hot tubs, cold punges, overhead massaging showers that are massive steams of water to work on your back/shoulders, and no time limit on how long you can stay! This was super cool, and a great way to bond with the girls the day before. So relaxing...

What an absolute beautiful location for our honeymoon. Hawaii! The suite was spacious and comfortable. The restaurants had a scrumptious selection of every kind of food. The pool was long and had large cement statues for decoration. There were candlelit bungalows adjacent to the hotel. On top of all that, the sunset along the beach and from our balcony was one of the most beautiful scenes I’ve ever seen. Give it a whirl!

I'm terribly worried so would like to share experience for anyone interested in having a wedding here. I don't know what the update will be but surely I will come back and write another review...but this place was completely irresponsible! After I booked (verbally confirmed and awaiting for the contract to sign and money paid) on wanting to book the ceremony and buy out of the restaurant, the wedding planner at the resort called me back 4 days later and said they accidentally put on hold my ceremony time for another couple! Now a week later, I'm still stuck waiting to hear back from the other couple to see if they are willing to be off hold! The resort has offered us nothing, only apology that "maybe" they forgot to put a hold on the ceremony when I booked; The only thing they can do was to say they have put on hold "the weekend after" as a favor for me!...And this is after I send out SAVE the DATE!! I have been talking to the planner at the resort for over 3 weeks, all to work out the details and never have I been told my date has already been booked!!! They were the ones that recommended this date in the first place too.
I don't know what to do since we're just playing a waiting game. Who has the priority here??? The couple on hold and unreachale or me who has already made up my mind??? I'm very disappointed and stressed now because I may just have to go somewhere else. Its a destination wedding so alot of people are looking into tickets and have blocked out the dates for vacation at work. What do I do with them???
