Grandma Lulu's Cookies

I ran across Grandma Lulu's here on PW and viewed their website and just had to try these cookies. They offer a free sample which was perfect! It did take a week or so to get but let me tell you it was so worth the wait! I am so excited that I found one of my favors already!

FAvors are such an expense and usually get thrown in the trash or left on the table. I relaly wanted something that went along with our beach theme and something edible but not outragously expensive (like $6 per cookie!) This was a godsend. Grandma Lulu's were delicious. The guests loved them and still talk about them. We are still eating the left overs (I ordered about 30 too many) Two months later. The shipping was reasonable and quick. all cookies were intact upon arrival. This is your favor if you are doing a beach themed wedding!

Grandma Lulu's cookies are the best. We wanted the zesty lemon zinger dipped in white chocolate but opted for the original Sand Dollar sugar cookie (sprinkled with Sugar) instead beacuse we are worried about the weather being too hot. Everyone loved them and we had NONE left as favors at the end of the night! People were still asking us where we got them the next day because we live at the shore and they wanted to buy some as housewarming presents, cookies on bedpillows (they are individually wrapped), etc....!

The tough part about party favors is most people think "cute idea" but leave them so its a total waste. Everyone LOVED Grandma Lulu's cookies not only because they were delicious, but sweet and very appropriate for a wedding with the whole "legend of the sand dollar" story. It made them more than just a favor, they were another part of the beauty and meaning of the ceremony. Cookies came on time, none broken and I even spoke to Grandma Lulu herself. These cookies are made with Love which made them that much more special on such a perfect day.

Grandma Lulu's is the best. It was really special to have the personal touch on our party favors- and the legend of the Sand dollar added something special to the ceremony- it had more meaning than just another wedding favor that people ignored. Grandma Lulu herself called us and filled the order. Delicious and very special!

I had these cookies at my island wedding. They surrounded my seashell
wedding cake in the sugar sand that the cake sat in. They are wonderful and make every occasion special.

Hey Grandma Lulu,
The cookies arrived yesterday and in perfect condition. (thanks to a great packing job) I am having a "sister's weekend" down at the coast this weekend and I thought these would be sweet treats to leave on pillows at bedtime instead of a piece of chocolate. Your cookies are so unique and delicious. I used them in my wedding 6 years ago in the wedding favors and on the table decorations since ours was a beach theme wedding. Everyone raved about the Sand Dollar cookies! They were the hit of the wedding. Thanks so much for creating such a wonderful cookie and for being number one in delivery and customer care.

Grandma Lulu, thank you so very much for everything...You have truly added a most special touch to the wedding that I am so looking forward to surprising my friends and my family with. I wanted to ad edible favors to the CDs we created for the longest time and was trying to figure out how to incorporate the legend of the sand dollar into my day so people would understand why the theme was beach/sand dollars. Dear Grandma Lulu- I just wanted to send a note about having your cookies at my wedding reception. We absolutely loved them so did all of our guests! My husband and I went with the overall bocean theme and we used your sand dollar cookies as the desserts at our wedding, and the wrapped white chocolate backed cookies as favors. Both of the cookies were a huge hit! All of the wrapped cookies were gone, my husband and I only got one each and only because the best man set them aside!! I used Grandma Lulu's sanddollar cookies as favors at my wedding dinner. They were a HUGE hit! The minister loved them so much he asked everyone at his table if he could have theirs! I have recommened Grandma Lulu's cookies to my friends for Unique wedding favors, for treats at Bridal and baby showers and for a tasty way to say thank you. My Family took the cookies to a family reunion one year and now we bring them back every year! You can't go wrong with Grandma Lulu's sanddollar cookies!
