Anthony provided perfect planning tools plus his expertise, so we were able to tailor the playlist exactly as we wanted. He transitioned from ceremony mic to cocktail hour jazz, to dinner and dancing so smoothly I never had to give it a second thought beyond "this sounds great!". He kept the party dancing until 1 am! I know you might wince at the price, but I compared it to many others and the service and professionalism were COMPLETELY worth it. You get what you pay for, and then some. If you want a worry free night of fantastic music, Anthony is your guy!

We worked with Greenbelt DJ for our wedding which was April 28, 2012. Joel Giorgio is just fantastic - there are not enough words to describe how awesome he was!!
From the very first correspondence with Joel to the last minute of the reception, Joel was on top of everything, totally professional, helpful and knew exactly how to get our guests dancing. For our wedding, we were supposed to have a day-of coordinator to help with details and organizing things throughout the day - this person was one of the managers of the venue. Not only did this person not help, but she didn't even stay past the first 5 minutes of the ceremony! Once I walked down the aisle she was gone. Luckily we had Joel there to get our guests where they needed to be, to make suggestions throughout the day to keep things running smoothly, and he even brought us snacks while we were outside taking photos after the ceremony!
Joel LOVES his job and that is very evident in the way he works and really takes time to know and understand his clients' needs and music preferences.
Not one time throughout the wedding day did I feel panic or stress because I knew Joel would make sure things went smoothly and our guests would be happy. Greenbelt DJ was very much worth the cost - we wish we had more events we could hire them for!!! :)

We went with DJ Erik for our wedding. His contagious passion for music and creativeness made our DJ decision easy. He helped us brainstorm ideas for wedding party entrances and special dances. DJ Erik really made our wedding special and I would highly recommend him to anyone for any occasion!

Joel was awesome. From the time he responded to my first email for a quote, I knew I wanted him to be our DJ, and I didn't even want a DJ to begin with! He is super nice, easy to work with, and nailed all of our requests for the flow of the evening. He has a great vibe and great timing, We would definitely hire him again.

Anthony at Greenbelt did an awesome job at our wedding. He was extremely professional, played a perfect combination of music and was anything but a typical "cheesy" DJ. He was truly first-class all the way. Our guests had a blast and the entire night flowed great because of Anthony's song choices. Plus, his prices were very competitive and he even met with me the week of the wedding, since I was doing a destination wedding and had to do most of my correspondence via e-mail. I would highly recommend Greenbelt DJ!!!! Even my "conservative" parents enjoyed the music selection - and they're not easy to please. :)

DJ Joel was outstanding! This was a destination wedding for us. We met with him 4 months before the wedding and we were sold! His initial presentation to us, gave us a ton of confidence in his service and he surpassed our expectations. His communication was very quick up until the wedding date. Joel was actually booked for our wedding day, so we used his partner Erik. He was AMAZING! The dance floor was jumping the entire reception. Everyone was actually sad when is was the last song and time to leave. He did a fabulous job of paying attention to the music that guests were responding to the most and definitely kept the dance floor packed the entire night!

I had SO MUCH fun at my wedding, and I truly believe it's because of Joel. He played the perfect music at the perfect times (I've had a friend of mine who is getting married this summer ask for our dinner playlist so she can use it song for song) and kept everyone dancing through the entire reception.

Joel was so quick to respond to all emails; I never had to wait longer than a few hours to hear back from him. When we met with him before the wedding, he collaborated with us to create the type of reception we wanted. We had a few requests that were a little out of the ordinary, and Joel found the perfect moments to make them work. He also gave us great advice and guided us in the right direction for our cocktail hour and dinner music.

One of my biggest fears about a DJ was that they would be cheesy or take attention away from the party. Joel was not like that at all. He kept the evening flowing, but it was never about him. He had the perfect vibe to go with our wedding and I'm so glad he was a part of it.

Greenbelt DJ was actually the first vendor I booked after getting engaged. Yes, even before we had the date reserved at our first-choice venue. It was just that important that we have him provide the music for our ceremony and reception, and we quickly realized he was in high demand. Joel was incredibly helpful and friendly from the start! I didn’t meet him in person until the week of the wedding, but judging from his many positive reviews and his status as a preferred DJ at the TC, we knew he couldn’t possibly disappoint. Joel was always easy to reach by email, and he answered all of my questions honestly with attention to detail. The client section on his website is so user-friendly, and helps to make sure you don’t miss any important info needed to create the perfect playlist for your big day. In addition, Joel is very talented and could easily provide music that will keep your guests happy without much direction from the bride and groom. For the ceremony, Joel selected the greatest mix of elegant and modern instrumental music which flowed into non-traditional choices for the bridal processional and recessional. He also provided audio equipment for our ceremony musician at no additional charge. During dinner, a few guests commented that they would use many of the songs at their own future weddings. I’ve never paid much attention to the background music at dinner, but the guests were right, Joel was playing a great selection of songs that are not overplayed or expected. At the reception, there was no cheesy commentary, he screened requests, added lights to the dance floor, and carefully read the crowd. Joel is also extremely thoughtful, and would come find me to ask about playing a song if he was uncertain as to whether we would want to hear it at our wedding! Of course, my reply was to go for it, because he knows what he’s doing and how to keep the party going! We can’t wait to get the music from the day, just another special plus that Joel provides! My grandparents loved the music, my friends loved the music - can't go wrong with Joel at Greenbelt DJ!

Erik from DJ Greenbelt was absolutely amazing! We asked him to be like a basketball game announcer when the wedding party entered the reception and he did a fantastic job! He did everything we wanted and we could tell that he had a blast behind the DJ table too! He seems to love what he does and that creates the perfect party atmosphere! We highly recommend him!!!!

Joel was absolutely an amazing DJ at our wedding!! We met with him the week of to talk about songs for specific events, introductions of people and our overall taste in music. He did everything perfectly!! He was very knowledgable and helpful with picking out certain songs and providing input for what people normally liked to hear at weddings and what got them up dancing. I was concerned that the dance floor would not be as full as I was hoping (we had half young people and half older crowd), but was so pleased that lots of people were dancing. We even got almost everyone on the floor for the Cha-Cha Slide! Our schedule ended up a bit off the night of the wedding, but Joel just went with it. He came over a couple of tines and suggested when to do certain events and it worked out wonderfully! I highly recommend him for DJing any event!!

Joel at Greenbelt DJ was just great. He was very professional in all aspects. He ran our ceremony very nicely and even provided an audio recording for download afterward! He did a wonderful job playing the songs we requested and also did a great job finding other music according to our tastes. He was very perceptive, respectful, and all around very helpful. Hiring Joel was such a good decision! After hearing him DJ an open house at the venue we ended up booking, we decided to not even shop around. He's very professional and knows how to read a crowd. I told him his goal was to get people on their feet and that's exactly what he did. He also helped things run smoothly throughout the wedding by telling us what he was going to announce and when he would announce it- something I had never really thought about but really made a difference when you're trying to make your way to the dance floor for your first dance. All around nice guy and great at what he does!

My DJ was Anthony and he was wonderful. He responded almost immediately everytime I emailed him with a question, and he was very helpful with providing me with examples of songs to choose for each part of the wedding. We had a meeting a few weeks before the wedding where he got a feel for what type of music I was looking for and went over final details of the wedding day. On the day of the wedding, he was very professional and kind, and did a great job of playing songs that were enjoyable for all of the guests. I would recommend Greenbelt to any bride!

DJ Joel Giorgio not only met every expectation we had for our reception's music, he exceeded our expectations. We were confident that we had made the right choice when we met Joel before our wedding to plan what music we wanted to hear. My wife and I didn't want to hear anything cheesy like "YMCA" or "The Chicken Dance", and he was right on board with that.

The reception was SO much fun and Joel was a big part of that. He did a great job making announcements to the room, and he also has a really good feel for how the music at the party should progress. He also does a great job of understanding what type of music the couple wants to hear, so that he can make suggestions for songs you may not have thought of. All the additions to the song list that he made fit in perfectly with what we wanted, and I know everyone at the reception was happy with it too - because everyone was on the dance floor!

I was referred to Joel by my good friend and wedding planner Valarie Mullen. She said he's the best and I knew from the first email conversation with him that she was right!
From the very beginning and even before a contract was signed I felt like he was excited and committed to making my wedding as easy and enjoyable as possible. His prices were reasonable and his customer service was outstanding.
Our wedding was on a Tuesday and even with a tough crowd of people that have to work in the morning he had everybody out on the dance floor.
Even my 80 year old prim and proper grandmother joined us for the cupid shuffle!
Our wedding had some hiccups with the venue and other vendors during the planning stages but after meeting with Joel we walked away feeling really excited and more at ease about the whole thing than we had in the months leading up to it.

Erik DJ'd our wedding back in January. We interviewed several DJs, but neither of us felt like we hit it off with any of them as well as we did Erik. You could tell he absolutely loves DJ'ing just by talking with him about music. He was so enthusiastic when we'd talk about which songs we should play when, and he honestly loves all of the music. Plus he does live mixing, which is an awesome touch for a wedding reception. They say the DJ can make or break a reception, and Erik definitely made ours a night that our guests will never forget. We have received so many compliments on Erik's behalf (people are still telling us what a blast the wedding was and how great the DJ was two months later!). You know the DJ is doing it right when no one is paying attention to the time, and the hotel is kicking you out at 2:30am. That was our wedding, and we would gladly recommend Erik to anyone looking for an epic time!!!

Joel was amazing. He responded to every email incredibly quickly and always had helpful suggestions during the planning process. We were planning our wedding on a budget, and almost didn't hire a DJ. I think hiring Joel was one of the best decisions we made! I booked Greenbelt DJ about 3-4 weeks before my wedding. Yeah I was late in the game, but Greenbelt DJ was wonderful!! Extremely responsive. I had everything figured out and covered within 2 days after contacting them. The online access made it convenient for my husband and I to incorporate our music choices into the wedding reception. Greenbelt DJ was very professional and took the initiative to cover the little things that most couples would forget such as computer cable adapters, etc for their projector.



After meeting with Anthony to discuss the timelines and how everything would pan out, we knew that we didn't have to worry about how all the MCing and music would turn out. Unfortunately I couldn't say the same about my venue contacts who ended up changing the whole wedding reception schedule, but Anthony was great!! He adapted quickly to all our changes, even the crazy dances my friends were randomly coming up with. :) I had positive feedback from my guests that the music was great, and they had fun. Thank you Greenbelt DJ. I commend you for your professionalism and high quality of work which resulted in one less stress I, as a bride, did not have to deal with.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect DJ than Joel. He was our DJ at our wedding on 11-11-11 at the Terrace Club and was awesome. We booked him early because we know the good ones book up fast. He was very thorough and explained how everything would go when we met up with him for or detail meeting. He always answered my emails very fast and was so professional. I really liked how he had a planning website that we could go on and set up our timeline and also pay our deposit on there. He was very good at reading the crowd and knew exactly what and when to play. We recommend him if you are looking for a DJ for any event.

Where to begin!? Joel is awesome! We had him for our ceremony and reception and his amazing patience, music knowledge, fun attitude and professionalism were beyond outstanding. A few days before our wedding, things were still not set in stone concerning our reception music due to two members of the wedding party. These two people continued to go behind our backs to our day-of coordinator/venue and control the reception with bringing in the band they wanted - simply, trying to completely wipe out our DJ time. Joel was just a sweetheart and was so patient and understanding with all of the drama. He was re-assuring and always reminding us that he knew he was there to play for us and our supportive friends/family. Throughout the night, one of those certain people was very rude, pushy, and disrespectful to Joel, but he, not for one second, was anything but kind and professional. He made sure that my husband and I got the music we wanted to be played and that no other person had say over our big day. After even more drama behind the scenes, Joel finally had his time to shine and let me tell you - HE GOT THE PARTY STARTED (as cliche as that sounds)! As soon as he started DJing - the dancefloor was packed and everyone was finally letting loose! Joel DJing was the perfect ending to our crazy day. He knew exactly what to play and what the guests wanted to hear. His services were the highlight (besides becoming my husband's wife) of our night - it was the best time ever! Our friends and family had nothing but great things to say about Joel and his professionalism - and the same goes for us. He is knowlegable, comfortable to work with, and just an a great guy all around. Joel, thank you THANK YOU for making sure my husband and I got exactly what we wanted out of our reception and we couldn't be more appreciate for all your support and patience during the moments of drama. It is rare that I would rate a vendor 5/5, but I was so fortunate to find Joel at Greenbelt DJ! The music at the wedding was so much fun and exactly what we wanted! The online planning tools are really helpful! He had so many great ideas for getting our guests on the dance floor! At one point my dad wanted to play a REALLY slow song that reminded him of me, and I told him that it might change the pace of the party. He said "If anyone can get people out on the dance floor, it's your DJ!" That was certainly true!

I cannot say enough good things about Joel from Greenbelt DJ productions! I booked him nearly a year ago and I am so thankful I did. Joel was great at keeping the night going and very professional. His ideas for the dinner music were perfect. Guests continue to this day tell me how much they enjoyed the music played at my wedding! Greenbelt DJ was amazing! From the very start while guest were sitting until the very end of the reception, he rocked it. He played songs that the whole crowd loved and kept everyone going. He is wonderful to work with and responded quickly when I asked questions. It is obvious he loves his job, and that love is contagious! We made one of the best decisions of our wedding when we decided to hire Greenbelt DJ! From our very first conversations on the phone, Greenbelt DJ was confident, professional, and humble. He held an in-person meeting with us during our wedding week and he really worked with us to understand our preferences and desires for music, even going so far as to search for songs on YouTube to note down exactly what we wanted. He was super patient, personable, and easy to work with throughout the planning process, responding to our emails and calls within the hour and addressing any and all questions or concerns. He was always ready to provide ideas or alternatives when we asked based on his plethora of experiences. Greenbelt DJ proved to be incredibly dependable. The idea we had for our ceremony music was slightly complicated but Greenbelt DJ had spoken to both of our ceremony musicians on the phone ahead of time to ensure he could accommodate our idea with the appropriate equipment and support. He showed up to the venue early on the wedding day and did set up and sound check with our ceremony musicians without us even having to think about it. Our ceremony was amazing and we were thrilled with how beautiful and seamless the music turned out! Greenbelt DJ also did an outstanding job at the reception. The wedding party entrance into the reception was exciting and entertaining and we loved the selection of songs he chose to play over dinner!
Last but not least, the dancing portion of the reception after dinner was the BEST. My husband and I and a large chunk of our guests danced for hours straight without even taking a break! There was laughter and smiling everywhere, and even our older guests were getting their groove on amongst the younger crowd - it was so fun! The songs were exacty the style and beat we had hoped for and discussed with the DJ beforehand in our meeting. I was having so much fun dancing I totally forgot about the bouquet toss until our coordinator handed me my toss bouquet. When Greenbelt DJ announced the last song, there was a sigh of disappointment among our guests as we were all having the best time.
Needless to say we were completely thrilled we hired Greenbelt DJ for our wedding and have already recommended him to some of our engaged friends.

Working with Anthony from Greenbelt DJ Productions was such a pleasure! He was professional, friendly, and a great DJ. We wanted the music at our wedding to be a reflection of our tastes but we also wanted to please the crowd and keep people dancing, and Anthony was great at finding the perfect balance. Between Anthony's suggestions and picks and the songs we selected through Greenbelt DJ Production's online music catalogue/planning site we had great music from the beginning of the ceremony to the end of the reception and heard compliments about the music all night. The mix at dinner really reflected our taste and after dinner the dance floor was never empty! Anthony had our guests dancing their hearts out and those who weren't dancing had a great time watching.

We had Anthony provide the ceremony music as well as the reception music and he did a great job of timing the songs to each section of the processional. We had specific songs we wanted played for the processional and Anthony was able to quickly get all of the songs we needed.

Anthony also handled the role of MC perfectly. His announcements were clear and helpful in letting guests know what was going on and where they needed to be but never over the top or distracting in any way. It was great to know that Anthony was keeping the night on schedule so I didn't have to worry about it! He also provided a wireless mic for toasts which allowed everyone to hear the speeches clearly.

I was really impressed with the professionalism of Greenbelt DJ Productions. When we booked them it was great to know we were getting the whole package-- the great sound equipment, lighting, wireless mic for the toasts, and all the planning and timeline coordination--included in the price. I knew we were in good hands from the initial meeting all the way through the wedding. And while Anthony is an expert at what he does and I'm sure he could DJ a wedding with little to no help from clients, he made sure to really listen and give us a wedding that felt like us. We really appreciated that!

Anthony responded very quickly to all emails and phone calls and was always professional, helpful, and friendly. He made sure to give us plenty of meeting and planning time and was 100% prepared for our event. Music is so important in setting the mood at events and Anthony did a great job! I definitely recommend Anthony and Greenbelt DJ Productions.

Joel is a consummate professional and wonderful communicator. He treats his clients like they are his only clients, responsive to emails the same day - most of the time, within minutes. Joel is also very prepared for every event, making sure he has the correct pronunciation of all important people and has a solid timeline to follow for your event. When it comes to the actual DJ portion of his job, Joel is someone who literally knows how to "read the crowd". He takes into account the bride and groom's musical taste and then tries to mix that with whomever is on the dance floor. At our wedding, the majority of the dancers who stayed on the floor were young children and middle-age adults - Joel was able to find just the right balance to keep all guests happy and on the dance floor until the end of the reception.

Joel(owner and DJ)was great. When we came to Austin, we had plans to meet with a few DJs. We met with one who seemed good and were cheaper than Joel. We had made the decision to just cancel our appointment with Joel. We went to meet with our caterer and she really recommended Joel, so we kept the appointment and I am glad we did. We met at his house and he went thru what he does before and thru the wedding. He showed us his equipment and explained that it would be him and not someone else there at the wedding like some DJ companies. We liked Joel and his personality and even though he was a bit more pricey than some of the other DJ's we looked at, but it was worth it to know he would be the one at the wedding. He also offers uplighting which we really wanted at a fraction of the price of what lighting companies charge(along with dance floor lights).
We were able to go thru and make a list of songs from his website for the night of the wedding, but we let him do what he needed to do to keep the dancing going, which he did. He took request, but we were able to pre filter music we totally wouldn't want(like country). He was not supposed to play during the cocktail time, b/c we had paid a guitarist to do it, but he left early which Joel noticed and started playing so we weren't without music. Between Joel and our sites day of coordinator, we kept the wedding decently on time. He made the wedding a blast. He knows what kind of music to play when. He is a great DJ and well worth the money.

Hiring Joel to be our wedding DJ was one of the best decisions that we made! From my very first e-mail, he was completely thorough, friendly, and professional. I was extremely impressed by his response time - he always responded to any question or comment that I had within 24 hours, and usually within only a few hours. He also meets with all clients before the actual event, which we found to be extremely helpful. During the meeting, he gets to know you and your tastes in music, and that really showed with his choices to play during the wedding.

It's very obvious that he's passionate about what he does, and he excels at it in every way. He offered some great, unique ideas for music and for running the reception. He's also a fantastic MC (that was one fear of mine, given the sometimes cheesy reputation of wedding DJs). Honestly, I wouldn't change a thing, and would hire him again in a heartbeat! Totally worth the cost, for his expertise, great personality, and peace of mind!

Erik was excellent, professional and gracious. Our wedding was the first time he'd ever been asked to play the Hora and he played the heck out of it! He commented to my wife that he really enjoyed the musical selection she'd chosen which was great to hear. Everyone had a great time and we couldn't have done it without him!

Joel Giorgio absolutely made my reception the party I had always dreamed of! During the planning phase, he was very professional and offered great suggestions. His website made it easy to add songs to the playlist at my convenience. He had fun suggestions like having the bridesmaids be announced into the reception to "Glamorous" by Fergie and the groomsmen to "Eye of the Tiger." I wanted a fairly unknown song for our first dance, and he found it, bought it and added it to the website within seconds of my request. My favorite thing about Joel was his ability to read the crowd. We had mostly 20-somethings at our wedding, and he played a fun mix of dance music that kept us all out on the dancefloor. When there seemed to be a slight lull on the dance floor, he would immediately switch songs to something more upbeat like the "Cha Cha Slide" to get everyone involved again. I got so many compliments on how much fun our wedding was, and the DJ played an integral role in making it a success! I would recommend Joel Giorgio in a heartbeat!!

Joel was awesome. His music selections were great. He kept it subdued but up beat for the cocktails and slow and easy but not cheesey for the dinner hour and got the crowd pumped up and dancing for the party. He also recorded the entire ceremony and reception for us and took some great pics too. He was so easy to work with and so much fun to have at our event. We are so happy we got him and would highly recommend him.

Greenbelt DJ was fabulous!!! We had the pleasure of working with both Joel and his awesome sidekick Anthony. I first thought choosing a DJ was going to be a hard task because my husband and I are very picky music people (well, just me really) and had a very specific vision in mind in regards to the music. I wanted my cocktail hour to be atypical of what you usually hear. I wanted a cool lounge type atmosphere and he accommodated everything! Many of my guests told me how unique & refreshing it was to hear that type of music @ a wedding. They felt like they were at a swanky fashion event!

The duo kept the dance floor full the whole night. One of a bride's biggest fear is that no one will be on the dance floor and the reception will be lame. NOT the case here!

We got nothing but comments from guests about how much fun our wedding was. It was the best wedding they'd ever been to, so we hear, and a HUGE proponent of that was our DJ. I wish I could get married all over again just to hire these guys.

DJ Joel did an amazing job at my wedding! He played all the songs I hand picked to dance to and also made suggestions at our meeting and helped me pick better songs to play during specific reception times that I liked way more. He's very good at what he does, he's super talented and very experienced. After meeting with him, I felt even more comfortable with him and the services he offers. Other than the music, the lighting was amazing and fun and kept our guests on the dancefloor! He also was very professional when he was on the mic, directing us on what to do, like the bouquet toss. How do I go about giving Joel a 6? WE LOVED HIM! Joel provided the ceremony and reception music for us. Everyone loved that we used Vitamin Strings Quartet for the ceremony. We were running late and Joel was able to add in a few songs without the guests knowing they weren't originally supposed to be there :) After our wedding Joel provided us with an audio file of our complete wedding. I could not have been happier with the decision to hire him. If you are looking for a non-cheesy DJ who will provide party music for you and your friends late in to the night Joel is your man!

This Greenbelt DJ Productions was wonderful! Our DJ was Erik and he was a blast. He is a very nice man and was very cordial to our guests and to us.

I am extremely happy that I chose Joel to be my DJ. I used his online planning tool to choose songs, make a wedding timeline, and more. When we went to meet with Joel prior to the wedding he offered a lot of suggestions that we LOVED and used (and at least 2 of his suggestions ended up being some of the wedding highlights). He was such a pleasure to work with and brings a lot of wedding experience to the table. During the wedding Joel was basically like my master of ceremony. He kept the wedding on time and was flexible when I asked him to do something early. Everyone loved the music he played and people were on the dance floor constantly. The equipment worked perfectly and we loved the lights. Joel has a very cool and awesome personality, he created the right atomosphere during each part of my wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception), he was organized and responded quickly to emails, and he can mix the music live. And, he was especially good at instructing people when to do things, for example, he organized our "grand exit" for us. I cannot say enough good things about Joel. He truly cares about making sure everyone has a great time. He did exactly what I wanted and I STRONGLY recommend him for anyone.

I got married July 16th at Nature’s Point, and I could not possibly have more positive things to say about Joel. I have heard (and seen) some bad wedding DJ stories, but I never had a single concern after my initial meeting with Joel.

He is extremely professional and knowledgeable about what works best in a wedding, and he gave me great advice and suggestions regarding all kinds of aspects of the event in addition to the music. Joel was an extremely valuable resource during the wedding planning process, and he was so easy to work with. He always responded to my e-mails within a few hours at the most and often it was with 30 minutes. The couple of times I met with him he really took his time discussing the details about the way the wedding would unfold as well as the type of music and dances we did/didn't want, and it really put my mind at ease knowing he would be there. Joel is great about telling you what typically does/doesn't work in a wedding and serves as a wonderful guide.

Joel did an amazing job making all of the announcements as the wedding progressed and helping to make sure everything went smoothly. He has a very professional way of speaking and handling a crowd.

Then of course, there was the music and dancing. I had compliment after compliment about Joel, and ton’s of people during and after the wedding were telling me that he was the best DJ they had ever seen and that it was the most dancing they had ever seen at a wedding. Joel did an amazing job reading the crowd and keeping everyone dancing while smoothly transitioning between a variety of music. We had guests from the ages of 5 to 88 and everything in between out dancing on the dance floor. It was really important to me for there to be a variety of music so that guests of all ages would get into the songs, and Joel definitely made that happen.

He has a great website where you select songs you prefer/type of music you like, and then he sits down with you and discusses in detail what you do/don’t want. We gave him some suggestions but largely let him call the shots, and he played great songs at the cocktail hour and during dinner as well as during the dancing section of the evening. He also checked in periodically with me to make sure my husband and I were happy with flow of things and the music being played, which was nice.

Joel arrived several hours before the ceremony to make sure all of his equipment was set up ahead of time, and he brings a great set of speakers and dance lights. He had shown me a preview in his studio, but it was even better than I had expected on the actual day. The sound quality was great, and the lighting was perfect for the mood of each song. He also did things like elicit singing from the crowd and did a great job incorporating some props and stuff we brought which ended up being a huge hit with our guests.

Joel also does audio recording of the entire ceremony and reception and then gives you the recordings (which of course includes all of the music), and it is a cool keepsake to have and the sound quality is excellent. If you have a videographer he will give them access to his audio soundtrack so that they can enhance the sound on the video if needed.

Joel is a great person and an amazing DJ, and I absolutely recommend Greenbelt DJ!

Joel was great to work with, and was a blast! He invited us over to see the equipment that he would be using and showed us a test run of the things he would say and how superior using a DJ is over just settling with an iPod. We decided to add an outdoor speaker a couple weeks before the wedding and that was no problem to Joel. Our guests are still talking about how great the music was at our wedding. My good friend jokingly asked "was he using my iPod?" for his awesome dinner mix. The dance floor never lulled and we found it hard to leave ourselves! Would HIGHLY recommend Joel to anyone who wants a professional, fun DJ and an amazing party!

I never knew how important a DJ was until I started interviewing some for my wedding. Most gave no direction or any ideas of their own, but Joel was completely different.

He had every piece of the reception broken down for where we needed specific songs. I never thought about a song for the cake cutting, but he was there to guide us. He helped us figure out how to shorten our songs for our first dance and he provided feedback on all of the songs we chose. He had very original ideas that really made our reception a hit. He also responded promptly to our emails, usually within a few hours and definitely that same day.

He also did the sound for our wedding since it was outdoors and quite windy that day. He showed up early to set up and put the microphone on our minister. And, as a complete surprise to me, he put a recording device under my husband's jacket to record our vows! It was so thoughtful and I was truly surprised.

We hired Greenbelt DJ, Joel Giorgio for our wedding at the Red Corral Ranch in Wimberley, TX. I was an out-of-town bride, but using his on-line planning tool was so easy and convenient for me. He has a HUGE database of songs that you can view on-line and make selections from.

He was great from our first meeting through the reception. He knew what songs to play and when and has a really good intuition on how to get a crowd up and dancing. He listened to our tastes and preferences and integrated them perfectly.

Erik was the best dj we could have ever requested if we knew he existed before this process began. He was always quick to respond whether by email or phone and once the party was started there wasn't a single person not out on the dance floor. Our wedding on the 19th was so much fun and we have Erik to thank for that. I can't tell you how many people told us that Erik was the best DJ they've ever heard. Everyone had so much fun dancing and we couldn't imagine a better DJ. All of the music was so perfect. From dinner and cocktails, to all the music for the dances and cake cutting to the conga line (which was a request by one of our guests that Erik had to go download and was SO MUCH FUN!). All of it was spot on. And he was so flexible about the time-line. I could not say more wonderful things about Joel at Greenbelt DJ. To me, one of the most important things at the wedding reception is the music. Joel worked with my wife and I to understand the kind of evening we were hoping to achieve prior to the event. He then tailored his style to ensure the night was everything we wanted it to be. He was able to read the crowd perfectly and play songs that seemed custom fitted to every moment. On top of the music, he also provided custom lighting that made our wedding look and feel like something out of a platinum weddings episode. Joel exceeded expectations on every level.

Joel was not only good at his job and easy to work with, he was also a gentleman that we were glad to have as part of our celebration.
