DJ Erik at Greenbelt was absolutely fantastic! I was an out of state bride so I only got to meet him just days before the wedding and he immediately picked up on my music tastes. The online tool that Greenbelt DJ has is SO helpful - you can go on their site and pick songs that you love/hate and also plan out the songs for each event during the wedding (cake cutting, bouquet toss etc). Erik had great suggestions based on years of experience and all of my guests commented on how great the music and dancing was! He has a laid back style that's not in your face and he mixed the songs perfectly - even handing over the mic to my cousin and sister as they rapped Salt 'N Peppa's "Shoop" :) I highly recommend him to all Austin brides!

Anthony with Greenbelt did a fantastic job for us! He was flexible, as our timeline changed somewhat, and made everything flow very smoothly. The dance floor full made it obvious that he did a great job! Thank you Anthony!!

We used Erik for our wedding and he was great! He met with us prior to our wedding and we went over every detail of our wedding concerning music, he even suggested songs when we weren't sure what to use. He has a great selection of music and if he doesn't have it he will download it for you. Erik is great at reading the crowd and very good at having a variety of music to please all generations.

Joel DJed our wedding last weekend at Barr Mansion. He provided the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, and totally rocked it all!

We knew from the very beginning that we wanted our wedding music to be different. No Wedding March or Etta James. When we told him we wanted instrumental versions of Plain White Ts, Talking Heads, Beatles and Allman Brothers songs for our ceremony and first dance, he was all about it.

We're not huge pop music fans, so we put together a fairly extensive list of songs we wanted to hear at our wedding. At our meeting with Joel, he made a great point - a lot of good music is not good for weddings and a lot of good wedding songs are not good music. The dance floor was full all night! Joel also made the transition from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception seamless even though he had to set up in three different spots.

It was important to us that the person we hired to DJ wasn't cheesy. Joel is so approachable - we really felt that he seemed like more of a friend than a vendor. We hired him while planning from out of state, and he took the time to chat via phone to answer questions before we hired him. When we met him in person, we knew we nailed it.

Joel gives his couples a CD of all the music and toasts from your entire wedding, which is an awesome touch. He's expensive, but worth every penny!

We used DJ Joel for our wedding last month and I am so happy with our decision! I met with Joel twice, once at the beginning of planning and once right before the wedding. He was very easy to talk to and made plenty of notes so things flowed smoothly on wedding day. The day of the wedding went perfectly! Joel kept the party going and the dance floor full. You want Greenbelt to DJ your wedding. All my interactions with Joel and Anthony were prompt, professional, and helpful. Anthony knew our venue well, made helpful lighting and equipment recommendations, and was frank about what was necessary vs what we could skip to save money. He even knew our officiant's mic preferences. Anthony's genuinely interested in setting up a meaningful wedding that incorporates your wants and ideas. When some last minute venue conflicts disrupted our reception, Anthony even helped manage details with other vendors. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Greenbelt again.

Joel was our DJ for our 3/16/13 wedding at the Barr Mansion. He took care of EVERYTHING and I had to do very little in the music planning area. During the planning process he is VERY responsive to emails. He had suggestions for songs so we didn't have to research it ourselves. We love all kinds of music and Joel incorporated them all into the wedding. He had great suggestions for ceremony music too which we knew nothing about. He took care of all the sound (microphones for our pastor, the outdoor ceremony, and for the indoor reception). I literally did not have to do a thing or worry about anything. It all went perfectly & I can't think of one thing I would do differently. It was seriously flawless.

We gave Joel the leeway of reading the crowd during the reception and our wedding was the best party I had ever been to! We had gone over the music we like and he used that with the crowd's mood to keep everyone on the dance floor all night. I wish we could do it again and again. Me & my now husband danced a lot at our wedding with our family & friends and it was the time of our lives. Joel did all our announcements for cake, toasts, etc. and he was very professional yet still fun & lively which is hard combination to find. Anthony from Greenbelt DJ was great! The online planning forms were easy to use, and everyone was timely with their responses to my questions. I was planning a wedding in Austin from Oklahoma City-- adding an extra stress of setting up vendor meetings. Anthony coordinated a Skype meeting with me to go over exactly what time of music we wanted for each part of our wedding (cocktail hour, dinner, and then dancing.) Joel was an incredible DJ for our event. He is extremely well prepared and can quickly accommodate any request. He knew what we needed for the wedding and asked about things we had not even considered. He had excellent recommendations and really helped everyone to have a good time.

One of my main concerns was the merging of cultures. My husband is a born and raised, truck driving, country loving Texan. I'm Colombian but was raised here in Texas as well... however I am very close to my Colombian and Latina roots. So when finding a DJ my main goal was to find someone who could mix and blend our two cultures together---and no I don't mean Tejano music haha. Throughout the span of our 3 year relationship prior to tying the knot, my husband and I had gone to various weddings of friends and family. We kept asking ourselves...what do we mostly remember from all those weddings? Easy--- the food, and the music. I can tell you that 2 months after our wedding I STILL have people raving on and on about how fantastic our DJ was. He catered to my Colombian family, wanting to salsa the night away, He catered to our college friends wanting to do the wobble and gangnam style, he catered to my husband's family who wanted some good ol' two-stepping... He managed to created an environment where by the end of the night, the ones who wanted to two-step were the one's doing the salsa, where the Colombians wanted to two-step and where the college kids danced throughout it all. Yes, the cost is slightly higher than some other DJ's. But the fact that Joel was DJ'ing with a real turntable and was able to bring everyone, from all different cultures, and all different ages made it worth every single penny. Thanks, Joel!

Simply stated, Erik is the man. From our initial meeting and interview with Erik my wife and I had a really good feeling about the direction of our entertainment at the wedding. Erik is very knowledgeable about music in general, but not overbearing about his opinions. He did a great job working with us to find exactly what we wanted to hear. My wife and I didn't exactly know ceremony music we wanted, so Erik put together some suggestions based on some of our interests and our venue. His ideas were awesome and everything turned out great. After dinner Erik really got the party started. A number of my guests commented on how well he was able to read the room/dancefloor and play a song that was appropriate to the mood. I didn't think we'd get so many people excited to dance at our reception and without Erik rockin' the party I doubt we would have had so much participation. I'd hire him again in a second. Thanks!!!

Joel is a great DJ and professional. It was very refreshing to receive timely and thorough responses from Joel after initially inquiring about his services and for the duration of time leading up to the wedding date. Joel was open to incorporating (very) specific requests and maintained a positive demeanor throughout the planning process. We absolutely loved Joel of Greenbelt DJ Productions. Our friends and family continue to comment to this day (and it is now the end of April) how much fun our wedding was, and we know that one of the biggest reasons was our wonderful DJ. Joel is a fabulous DJ. He was a dream to work with before the Big Day, very organized and professional. He had great recommendations on lighting but wasn't pushy and listened to my idea for the ambience of the room.

At the reception, Joel was flexible and relaxed. We had drafted a detailed schedule with music pairings but he was very go-with-the-flow when things needed tweaking along the way.

I think my favorite thing about Joel is how articulate he is. There's nothing more awkward than a DJ who stumbles over his words, lacks confidence, says "Ummm" too much, or wants to be the center of attention. Joel is none of those things. He has a confident, kind, and welcoming tone. He ushered things along with ease but didn't seem like he was rushing the guests. He seemed happy to be there and as though he was glad to be the voice of the celebration.

Joel from Greenbelt DJs did our wedding and was amazing!! As we did our ceremony and reception in one place we had Joel do our ceremony music too. Which was perfect as I had selected sections of songs I wanted played during the ceremony and Joel did a fantastic job editing the sections together. From the very first meeting on Joel has been super professional and responsive. He really listened to us as we planned the kind of wedding and reception my Husband and I wanted, and stuck with our style. On the day of, he went out of his way to accommodate an outside ceremony by doing a 2nd mini set up, so everyone could hear the music, and then quickly reset for the indoor reception. He was also the perfect MC and ensured everything happened according to plan while going with the flow of the party. Joel DJ'd our wedding and was incredible! We found an acoustic guitarist after we booked him that we loved and wanted to work into the wedding reception, and even though it was unusual for Joel to work with a musician, he was really flexible and made it work flawlessly. He even provided the sound equipment for the guitarist. Joel was also great at being the MC and announcing everything, keeping us on track, etc. I loved that when it got awkward during the father/daughter dance, all I really had to do was glance at Joel and he knew to wrap up the song. He had a great selection of music and was really professional and responsive. I LOVED that he provided us with a recording of everything that happened throughout the night. It was a great way to relive our perfect day :) Highly recommended.

If we had it to do all over again... WE WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE ERIK AGAIN!!! It was an awesome time!!!! At first we didn't like the idea of the DJ doing too much talking at our reception, but after our personal meeting we were very happy to let Erik DJ AND MC, and he did an amazing job!! And oh yeah, the up lights looked great and were totally worth it.

We can't recommend Greenbelt DJs, and particularly DJ Erik, enough. Erik was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ for our wedding. He met with us a few weeks before the big day to help establish the schedule and get a feel for our musical tastes and what we wanted during each phase of the wedding. He worked with us to put together some great cocktail hour and dinner music and he really knew how to get the party started after dinner. Joel is a fantastic entertainer. Professional, fair, and honest. I'd highly recommend Joel for your wedding or any other event where you want your guests to dance, interact, and keep the energy alive. The best sign of a good DJ is how the audience reacts. From the first song, Joel had people dancing, and no one stopped for the next 4 hours. We could not have asked for more.

Prior to the wedding Joel reached out several times to ensure that every detail would be covered. He scheduled exactly who would be speaking and when. We didn't have to worry about a thing, because Joel had it covered. He was extremely professional at the event as well, frequently consulting with those that were planning to speak to ensure that they stood where the audience could see them and to provide any advice on how to use the microphone. This guy had the process down to a science.

Finally, I'd like to thank Joel for everything he did above and beyond to ensure that we had the best day possible. It's not everyday that you find a vendor that presents value beyond what you contract them to do. Even when we turned down offers to help and assist, Joel insisted on taking care of it.

From the first moment of contact, DJ Greenbelt was awesome, and they never disappointed throughout the process. They always got back to me very quickly, and within hours we had Anthony set up as our DJ. He walked me through all of the details and asked me to fill out online forms noting our music preferences, timeline, etc. Since we were an out of town couple, he was kind enough to meet with us in person just days before the wedding (typically he would meet 2 weeks out). During the face-to-face meeting we went over all of our requests, must-plays, must-not-plays, and he really took the time to get to know our style and what we were looking to get out of each component of our wedding day.

The day of he showed up on time, set up, and checked in with me only when needed. We trusted his judgment throughout the night completely and he never failed-- easy on the mic, clear with guests, etc. We didn't want a typical cheesy dj, and Anthony was the right amount of fun but also kept the great music coming. The mixing and selection of songs was so great. Perfect transitions throughout the ceremony, and great song choices during the cocktail hour and reception. We had almost our whole group out dancing the entire time! He was easy and accommodating when I would ask him to announce something.

We loved that it was a priority to Anthony to get to know us and make it personal to us. He captured the type of music that we love and that was also fun for the crowd. So many guests came up to us and complemented the music during the whole night-- they said they were great selections and were absolutely "us." For something so important as music and keeping the flow of the wedding/reception going, I had no doubt that Anthony would do it right, and we were absolutely not disappointed. He was so friendly, happy for us, competent, and great with the guests. Couldn't recommend their services or Anthony more! Perfect...

We used Anthony as our DJ and he was great. I hate loud, cheesy wedding DJs so I was very picky but Anthony was very professional and knowledgeable in all types of music. We gave him "genres" for dinner and dancing music as well as "parents' music" and he was able to blend our requests.

Anthony at Greenbelt was AMAZING at our wedding this year. Ok. So..I know you may be like me and see all 5 stars and think..hmmm, this seems sketchy or over-hyped. But this company is legit.
I heard Joel's dinner set at an open house and connected to it immediately. The first thing I noticed is that Joel doesn't play when it comes to replying to emails and questions. We're talking replying within minutes, at times. Believe me, while juggling multiple vendors, this is a big deal.
Our guests were amazed with our music. From the dinner set, to cocktail hour, to the dance...they loved it all. There are some cool things he does to break up the dance party...and I don't want to ruin the surprise. Just know, one was my favorite memory of the night.

I could go on and on. Just book this dude, already. I promise, it'll be the easiest, best decision out of the 1,000s you have to make.

What great service! We had a very informative meeting before the ceremony in which he actually reminded us of several logistical things we had neglected to think about -- he has done this alot and certainly knows how to handle it!

After getting a feel for the kind of music we liked, he was able to pick a variety of songs for the dinner part of the ceremony that led to us receiving lots of compliments on selection, as the songs seemed to be just the ones we would have chosen ourselves. We of course gave all credit to Joel!

Our wedding had alot of non-dancers, yet he managed to keep alot of people on the dance floor playing a great mix of popular music and hits from the past. When people would get tired he would seamlessly transition into something else to keep people moving and having a great time. I would recommend Joel to anyone!

Joel of Greenbelt DJ Productions was an absolute joy to work with. He is so down-to-earth and a pleasure to be converse with; my husband is not the easiest guy to please, but he absolutely loved Joel. Not to mention, Joel went out of his way to accomodate my husband and I. We both live out of town, were unable to travel for meetings to discuss plans, and have fairly odd daily schedules; therefore, Joel Skyped with us at a convenient time to perfect every last detail. He also worked to satisfy both of our tastes in music and made sure it would fit our audience. He was able to improvise when things weren't going exactly as planned and it worked beautifully. To my surprise, he even recorded our entire reception. It is so wonderful to be able to listen back and relive that moment. Anthony was great to work with from the very beginning. He answered all my questions, no matter how small, and was very prompt with responding to emails. Even though I was in another state, he was able to work with me and have Skype meetings to discuss my music selections. I had picked a wide array of music and Anthony was able to work all the songs in without any odd transitions. He made great song suggestions and was very supportive of our non-traditional ceremony music. Everyone at the wedding complimented the music and said it was a great party! Bottom line, if I got married again I would definitely book Anthony again!

I can't say enough great things about Erik. I already had a great feeling about him after a couple of phone conversations, but I was blown away by the results at our wedding. People had such a great time that evening, and he was a key factor in bringing that about. The dance floor was packed all night - our friends, our families, and our parents' friends all had a blast. I imagine that it's probably hard to get both grandma and a bunch of 27-year-olds out on the dance floor at the same time, but Erik made it happen. Greenbelt's online tool allows you to make an extensive "like" and "dislike" list. Erik used this list to get a sense of our tastes, and once he figured out our style, he ran with it. He played songs that were not on the list, but were absolutely perfect for the time and mood. And that's the point of a good DJ, isn't it? We wanted someone who knows how to read a crowd and how to get them to dance, while still respecting our preferences. Erik completely nailed it. He was friendly, flexible, and fun without being cheesy. I'd recommend him to anyone.

DJ Joel was awesome! He was very thorough during our first consultation and made sure we covered everything. (This was very eye opening and helped us hammer out all sorts of details we had yet to consider). During the year of planning, he was very responsive and quick to answer any little question I had. On our actual wedding day, Joel owned the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He also did magenta uplights that really helped pull the decorations all together. (He even through in 2 extra ones at no charge to complete the look). He did an excellent job transitioning from location to location at the venue. The music was a hit - there was a lot of dancing! The music for our wedding was perfect. Communication was easy and organized. We expressed our likes and style and that came through in our wedding. My husband and I along with our guest had an amazing time and a big part of that was the music! Great pricing for the quality and total amount of services. Working with Mr. Giorgio was a blast. This is a man dedicated, proud, and committed to his work. My wife and I planned our wedding from Afghanistan. Needless to say this was not an easy task. Joel was recommended to us by our wedding vendor and we are glad he was recommended. He was more than helpful, asked plenty of questions, very responsive to all inquires, and was more than willing to work with us on setting up meetings whenever he could. DJ Joel Giorgio was prompt and easy to communicate with from the first time I ever inquired about his services and throughout the entire wedding planning process. Joel (DJ Greenbelt) was recommended by our wedding coordinated, and we decided to hire him for our wedding at Nature’s Point on Lake Travis. He encouraged a meeting beforehand, in which we reviewed a questionnaire to cover the requirements for the entire wedding. We were near clueless for music selection, but from meeting with him, discussing our idea of a perfect wedding, and listening to samples of the different types of music he had available, we were able to select a music program that fit our taste. For the wedding itself, he provided and set up the audio equipment for the entire event including the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. This was not an easy fit since each part were in different rooms and areas of the facility, but he reviewed the floor plans and was able to provide the equipment, set up a main area for entertainment of the reception, and had high quality mobile equipment for easily hosting the ceremony and dinner, and provided all audio flawlessly. Additionally, his experience with weddings helped tremendously to keep the event running smoothly by helping to advise the bride and groom during speeches, and handled the reception excellent to keep the wedding fun! It was a pleasure having Joel as our DJ, and we highly recommend him for any wedding!

I can't say enough great things about Greenbelt, Joel, and Erik.  The week before my event, I got so fed up with my former DJ, that I fired him and started looking around for a new company.  Basically, the former DJ was unprofessional, unreliable, and difficult to get a hold of.  I placed several emails and calls with multiple vendors inquiring about a new DJ for a party in just over a week.  Joel contacted me immediately.  He was very professional, asked lots of questions, and proposed several options.  Joel communicated with me primarily over the phone, but when I couldn't answer, he would leave a voicemail and follow up with an email.  When I didn't return the call for several hours, he texted as well.  I greatly appreciate his attitude and willingness to meet tight timelines!

Erik was our DJ and was outstanding.  He was very flexible with my non-traditional music.  He asked lots of questions to get a good understanding of not only what music we loved, but also what we hated.  He was early to the event, had everything set up, and even had backup systems in place should something go wrong.  During the event, he was very helpful in adjusting the music when we changed our minds.  As for his mixing and professional DJ services, he is simply outstanding.

Their price was very reasonable and Joel even gave me a discount based upon our desired situation.

Joel with Greenbelt DJ was absolutely phenomenal! His song selection and DJ style far exceeded our expectations, which were already high. We had 215 guests in attendance and at least 150-175 of them stayed through to the end of reception.

The dance floor was ALWAYS packed and many of our guests commented that it was one of the funnest weddings they've ever been to. My bride and I danced all night long. Joel kept the party going and did so in a very professional, non-cheesy manner.

I love Greenbelt DJ!!! Joel was the best and by far one of my favorite vendors. The music for our wedding was one of the most important parts for me...I'm a music junkie!

Our wedding was set up to be outside and at the last minute it had to be moved inside due to rain and extreme humidity. Joel was so flexible, he took down everything in the dance room that was already set up, including the uplighting. I asked if the uplighting could be switched from green to white for the ceremony and it was done, no problem!

The music was just perfect! I had picked out slower songs for the dancing part of the evening but Joel could read my guest and asked first if he could play music that they would dance to. I had full trust in him and said, go for it! We all had so much fun and if I ever have another event that requires a DJ I will hire Greenbelt DJ, no questions asked!!!

He was fantastic and had great suggestions for each piece of music that we needed to decide on. He also was able to buy music for us that wasn't currently in their catalog, which is great since we have rather eclectic tastes in music. I had friends and family come up to me afterward and remark on how much they enjoyed the music at both the ceremony and reception. WOW! What can I even say?! Anthony with Greenbelt Dj was absolutely wonderful through out the whole wedding process. He was always available for meetings or through email, always on time, and prepared with notes of my wedding plans. Greenbelt DJ has an amazing, user friendly online planning forum where you can choose your songs for different wedding moments and music for the dance through an extremely easy and organized process. Anthony's performance on the day of the wedding was so professional, engaging and fun. He knew how to get the crowd's attention and make sure that we stayed on time. The best part of everything was the music. Anthony did such an amazing job using the songs we requested and mixing in various music that fit the genre we liked and would also be crowd pleasers. The dance floor was literally full and crazy all night long! Everyone was dancing from the young crowd to the older crowd. Joel from Greenbelt Dj is out of this world!!! I actually found him through our photographer who had Joel DJ his wedding. One of the most important things about my reception was that I wanted to find an awesome DJ because we wanted to dance!! After we set up our meeting, my husband and I went and met with Joel. He is super nice and let me tell you.....he knows what he is doing!!! He did a demo for us and I got chills! He mixes the ends of the songs to go in to the next song so there is no time when music is not playing. The way he mixes is amazing!!! He does not cut the songs off short, he mixes right at the end. We had the longest reception ever!!! Our ceremony was early so cocktail hour started at 3:30 or 4 and we did not leave until 11:30 pm! When we were done with dinner the dance floor was seriously packed the entire time! There was a point where I do not think anyone was sitting down. You know Joel is amazing when he keeps everyone going for a 7 1/2 hour reception. He was so good that even at the last song, even though people had been there since 3:30, they wanted to keep going and they were sad it was over!! Even my 90 yr old grandmother danced!! There were people at our reception that NEVER dance and they were dancing all night--I could not believe it! The was the best present my husband and I could ever ask for!

We hired Grennbelt DJ for our wedding, and what a great decision this was! We had the pleasure of working with Erik! From beginning to end, Erik and Greenbelt are first class! It was very easy to book (all on-line) and once you were, they have amazing on-line tools to help you prepare for the big day!! We met with Erik about 5 months before the wedding to meet with him and knew he would be amazing. Again, we met with Erik a few weeks before the wedding so he could get an idea of the type of music we wanted and left everything else into his qualified plans. The reception music was above and beyond my expectation. I knew our wedding guests would have a great time, but it blew me away how well Erik did to keep everyone on the dance floor the entire reception!! I had really great reviews for Greenbelt DJs, and was really excited to book Joel as our DJ for our June wedding. After speaking to Joel, I was disappointed to find out that he was already booked for our date. Since he couldn’t dj our wedding, he referred us to Erik Klimek, who was his "go-to” guy when he couldn’t make it. I was a little skeptical at first because there were hardly any reviews on Erik, but Joel highly recommended him, so my fiancé and I agreed to meet with Erik. It was that first meeting with Erik that sealed the deal for us. Erik is a totally nice, down-to-earth dude, who works for Apple by day, and dj’s by night & weekends. What really struck me about Erik was how much he LOVES music. And he’s not just a “wedding dj” either; he’s an actual dj, who knows how to work vinyl and turntables. He told us lots of funny stories about weddings and other events he had done, and even admitted some of the mishaps he’d had. He’s familiar with a ton of different genres, including Tejano, and has thousands of songs and playlists in his library. And if there’s a genre of music that you want played at your wedding that he’s not familiar with, he will spend HOURS studying it to get prepared! The Greenbelt DJ website also has a tool where you can build your own playlists and add songs that they aren’t familiar with.
But the best thing about Erik, besides his love of music, is his ability to “read” the crowd and knowing what kind of music will get them dancing. He told us at our meetings how he was pretty good at this, but certainly proved himself at our wedding. He kept our little dance floor busy the whole night. Another great thing about Erik is that he was able to mix/customize a few songs for us. The first was my bridal entrance song—I only wanted the first 40 seconds and the last 30 seconds of the song, blended seamlessly together, and for my father/daughter dance, I needed segments of 3 different songs pieced together. Erik was able to do both!
Besides the music, Erik was also a great announcer, and really good with impromptu requests (like my little sister wanting to do a special dance tribute to me and my husband). At the end of the night, we got SO many compliments on the DJ and even people asking for his information. Trust me, you want Erik as your wedding or event DJ.

We had a great experience working with Joel for our wedding in June 2012 at Mercury Hall. He's got the personality to work with lots of different people - this is a great thing that you can easily take for granted. I requested lots of different songs for him to play and by golly if he didn't slam out each one plus a few more. When my choices ended up not working so well he tastefully spun into other stuff. He's very talented and professional and unobtrusive. The best kind of entertainment does it so seemlessly that you almost don't realize it's there. I highly recommend Joel.

We had Erik DJ our wedding at Green Pastures and he was absolutely awesome!! Music can make or break your reception and he was able to pick up on the vibe from our guests and run with it. The dance floor was full the entire night, and we received lots of compliments from our guests about how much fun they had! And.. he was successful at doing this pretty much all on his own because we ran out of time to send him a song list. While a little untraditional perhaps, I used Joel for my rehearsal dinner the night before to help to start get my guests in the mood for our wedding. Anthony provided perfect planning tools plus his expertise, so we were able to tailor the playlist exactly as we wanted. I know you might wince at the price, but I compared it to many others and the service and professionalism were COMPLETELY worth it. You get what you pay for, and then some. From the very first correspondence with Joel to the last minute of the reception, Joel was on top of everything, totally professional, helpful and knew exactly how to get our guests dancing. For our wedding, we were supposed to have a day-of coordinator to help with details and organizing things throughout the day - this person was one of the managers of the venue. Not only did this person not help, but she didn't even stay past the first 5 minutes of the ceremony! Once I walked down the aisle she was gone. Luckily we had Joel there to get our guests where they needed to be, to make suggestions throughout the day to keep things running smoothly, and he even brought us snacks while we were outside taking photos after the ceremony!

Joel was awesome. From the time he responded to my first email for a quote, I knew I wanted him to be our DJ, and I didn't even want a DJ to begin with! It has taken me five months to fully absorb how completely, insanely, off-the-charts good Joel was at my wedding, and I'm still not sure I can convey it accurately. This guy...just get him. Go, get him right now. For those who like more detail, let me try to break it down. 1) He is extremely responsive and professional via email. That, combined with his reviews, are what pre-sold me. I booked him 13 months in advance, which I recommend--he had 100s of inquiries about my date after I snagged him. I had tons of questions early on, including "Can I even afford you?" Customer service at its finest--where other vendors would have dropped the conversation, he provided me with a thorough explanation of his services and costs. From that point through the DAY OF my wedding, he was easy to contact, quick to respond, and a joy to work with. 2) He has got some mad skills, and he knows how to sell them. I took my mom and MOH to the initial meeting. We were ASTOUNDED. He does beat matching on the turntables, which A) what DJ uses turntables anymore? So cool. and B) the beat matching ensures that no song ever ends on your dance floor. Rather, it transitions smoothly into the next. He also provides very cool dance lights for free. 3) He knows what he's doing, and he has the patience of a saint. My now-husband and I met with him the day before the wedding to nail down the final details. And by "final," I mean all of them; we had no ideas on anything. Joel walked us through each song choice step by step, had fantastic recommendations, and didn't bat an eye when we couldn't decide. He gave us hours of his time, and we never felt rushed. 4) He will rock your wedding. No joke. He has an uncanny ability to read the crowd, and from the moment he started, NO ONE LEFT THE DANCE FLOOR. We were concerned about people being shy, but he brought the party. People are STILL talking about what an epic reception he provided. He is a talented, gifted, true professional. <3 Joel!

Added uplighting was very pretty and added a lot of value to our ceremony.

Anthony at Greenbelt did an awesome job at our wedding. He was extremely professional, played a perfect combination of music and was anything but a typical "cheesy" DJ. He was truly first-class all the way. Our guests had a blast and the entire night flowed great because of Anthony's song choices. Plus, his prices were very competitive and he even met with me the week of the wedding, since I was doing a destination wedding and had to do most of my correspondence via e-mail. Joel was actually booked for our wedding day, so we used his partner Erik. He was AMAZING! The dance floor was jumping the entire reception. Everyone was actually sad when is was the last song and time to leave. He did a fabulous job of paying attention to the music that guests were responding to the most and definitely kept the dance floor packed the entire night!

I had SO MUCH fun at my wedding, and I truly believe it's because of Joel. The client section on his website is user-friendly, and helps to make sure you don’t miss any important info needed to create the perfect playlist for your big day. In addition, Joel is very talented and could easily provide music that will keep your guests happy without much direction from the bride and groom. He also provided audio equipment for our ceremony musician at no additional charge. During dinner, a few guests commented that they would use many of the songs at their own future weddings. I’ve never paid much attention to the background music at dinner, but the guests were right, Joel was playing a great selection of songs that are not overplayed or expected. At the reception, there was no cheesy commentary, he screened requests, added lights to the dance floor, and carefully read the crowd. Joel is also extremely thoughtful, and would come find me to ask about playing a song if he was uncertain as to whether we would want to hear it at our wedding! Of course, my reply was to go for it, because he knows what he’s doing, and how to keep the party going! My grandparents loved the music, my friends loved the music - can't go wrong with Joel at Greenbelt DJ!

Erik from DJ Greenbelt was absolutely amazing! We asked him to be like a basketball game announcer when the wedding party entered the reception and he did a fantastic job! He did everything we wanted and we could tell that he had a blast behind the DJ table too! He seems to love what he does and that creates the perfect party atmosphere! We highly recommend him!!!!

Joel was absolutely an amazing DJ at our wedding!! We met with him the week of to talk about songs for specific events, introductions of people and our overall taste in music. He did everything perfectly!! He was very knowledgable and helpful with picking out certain songs and providing input for what people normally liked to hear at weddings and what got them up dancing. I was concerned that the dance floor would not be as full as I was hoping (we had half young people and half older crowd), but was so pleased that lots of people were dancing. We even got almost everyone on the floor for the Cha-Cha Slide! Our schedule ended up a bit off the night of the wedding, but Joel just went with it. He came over a couple of tines and suggested when to do certain events and it worked out wonderfully! I highly recommend him for DJing any event!!

DJ Joel Giorgio not only met every expectation we had for our reception's music, he exceeded our expectations. Anthony with Greenbelt provided the DJ services for our wedding. He was a pleasure to deal with leading up to the event, always professional, and he did a great job of keeping the evening organized. My husband and I enjoyed working with Joel so much! He has a great easy-going, yet professional, personality that it made it so easy to discuss our wedding needs. It was very important to us that we have good music so everyone could dance, and Joel completely delivered. He did a great job incorporating what we had asked him to play while also feeling-out the crowd and keeping everyone dancing. There was never a lull in the music or a time when people stopped dancing. Beyond being a great DJ, Joel has such an understanding of weddings. We did not have a wedding coordinator so Joel worked with us to create a timeline for the night and really facilitated the night. He was in constant communication with our photographer and checked in with my husband and I throughout the night so we could change things as needed. We even had a little hiccup in things after the toasts and needed to postpone the first dance. He handled it so smoothly and knew exactly what to say to the crowd so no one could tell something had happened. Joel was definitely worth the money, and I would without a doubt hire him again! He is an amazing DJ and person. Wedding guest still talk about how much they liked him!

Erik DJ'd our wedding back in January. We interviewed several DJs, but neither of us felt like we hit it off with any of them as well as we did Erik. You could tell he absolutely loves DJ'ing just by talking with him about music. He was so enthusiastic when we'd talk about which songs we should play when, and he honestly loves all of the music. Plus he does live mixing, which is an awesome touch for a wedding reception. They say the DJ can make or break a reception, and Erik definitely made ours a night that our guests will never forget. We have received so many compliments on Erik's behalf (people are still telling us what a blast the wedding was and how great the DJ was two months later!). You know the DJ is doing it right when no one is paying attention to the time, and the hotel is kicking you out at 2:30am. That was our wedding, and we would gladly recommend Erik to anyone looking for an epic time!!!

Joel was amazing. He responded to every email incredibly quickly and always had helpful suggestions during the planning process. We were planning our wedding on a budget, and almost didn't hire a DJ. I think hiring Joel was one of the best decisions we made! He did our ceremony music and went above and beyond to help bridesmaids with timing, etc. The reception was amazing- the music he played got people to dance that don't believe in dancing (literally, for religious reasons). Everyone had so much fun and we were all dancing all night long!

They always let us know when something is about to happen, so we can be ready to film it when it does and we never have to worry about missing anything or bothering the Bride and Groom. It's also important for the DJ to have great equipment that we can plug into and record a clean feed of audio for toasts and other announcements that may end up on the couple's DVD. Lastly and most importantly, they have to be able to get the crowd rocking to have a good time, and any of our films that you see where Greenbelt was there, you will find an extremely exciting reception with great lighting and a crowd having the time of the lives. We could not recommend Greenbelt more, but you better inquire with them ASAP because they stay booked (just as any allstar wedding professional does :)
