Elizabeth and her mother were wonderfully accomadating to my family. The mansion is breathtaking and was exactly what I had envisioned for our reception.

Greystone is a lovely estate with beautiful grounds. There was a private area for guests of all ages to sit, mingle, or just enjoy natures surroundings if they did not want to dance. The staff were extremely receptive to ideas and how to implement them.

Greystone Hall was the perfect setting for our June wedding. From the lush gardens, to the magnificent mansion, Greystone Hall transported us to a place where dreams are made. Our guests said it rivaled a hollywood movie set. Everyone was in awe. Greystone Hall attended to every detail and created memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. If you are looking for the perfect venue; this is it. We're looking forward to the day when we can renew our vows at Greystone Hall.

CEREMONY: All I needed was white horses and my fairy tale wedding would have been complete. The ceremony was from a storybook. Greystone Hall was a perfect setting.RECEPTION: We felt like Charles and Diana getting married in a castle. Greystone Hall is the most beautiful place in Chester County!

This venue was magical. It couldn't have been better. I am so happy that I had my ceremony and reception here. There was no other location that I wanted.

Note that Greystone maintains a list of "approved" vendors, and they charge a fee if you use anyone not on the list. We didn't mind except that Jellyroll wasn't on the approved band list - all the other vendors were a pleasure (and we ended up pleased with our band too). The requirement also means all the vendors are already familiar with the site, which - particularly for the florist - made it easier to talk through the event with them.Absolutely beautiful setting!

Greystone is the most amazing wedding/reception venue. It is a little on the pricey side, but very much worth it. They are considered "strict" by some people. Perhaps they are, but they are well experienced with this line of work. Therefore, they provide you with a list of approved vendors you can use. This was very helpful to me, as it narrowed down all of the vendors and I knew they had an excellent reputation. This is an amazing place if you are thinking of hosting a black tie event!!

About Greystone Hall

Greystone Hall is a stately mansion at the center of an English style country estate. Greystone Hall stands today as a living monument of the era of great American mansion building from the Gilded Age to the 1920's. Greystone Hall is an ideal site for elegant weddings, receptions, banquets, rehearsal dinners and special events. It's seclusion, and stately grandeur provide a perfect getaway atmosphere for "the" imporatnt event.

Are there any special characteristics about this venue such as scenery or architecture?

Outdoor garden ceremonies for up to 200 guests are available on site; indoor ceremonies are held in the oak paneled Great Hall in the event of inclement weather. Your guests will enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres served inside the mansion or on the North Garden Terrace. Dining and dancing take place in the Tent-Pavilion. Our fifty-six column pergola, statues and decorative fountains are lit up at night for you and your guests to enjoy. 

How does your venue determine the cost of the space?

Minimal cost of up-keep of the property.

Do you offer any special services?

Rental fees include; the first floor of the furnished mansion, a custom built Tent-Pavilion, tables and chairs for 200. The landscaped terraced gardens and grounds include statues and decorative fountains which are lit at night and a fifty-six column pergola. Included in the rental fee is customized planning of your event and consulting services, including "day of" vendor coordination and "day of" bridal coordination. 

Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?

Included in caterers package.

Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?

Yes, but may go off vendor list for the cost of a vendor approval and orientation to the site.

Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?

Client provides the alcohol and the caterer provides the bartender and bar set-up including non-alcoholic beverages.

Do you offer security, if requested?

Yes; very good contacts for security.
