We were SO THRILLED by ALL of the services provided by Groove Events for our wedding this past January 2012. They truly all came together as a team and are responsible for making our dream wedding into a reality.

Peter, our DJ, was outstanding. He was so flexible and played all of the music we wanted to hear. I did not stop dancing the entire night -- literally the most fun I've had in my entire life! Our guests have also not stopped saying how much fun they had at our wedding -- and it was almost four months ago!

Marcia, our photographer, was phenomenal as well. She and her assistant caught so many wonderful moments. The pictures were fantastic and she did not miss a beat! She was also willing to go above and beyond to get unique shots (like getting on the roof of our reception place!) She was great.

Franco, the videographer, was also fantastic! Videography services were not a huge priority of ours at first, but we were able to add his services toward the end of our planning, and I am SOOOOOO happy we did. The wedding video was exceptionally done and we will treasure it forever. Being able to relive our entire day, and see things we missed while we were busy enjoying our wedding day, is priceless.

Working with Groove Events was one of the best decisions we ever made and we would HIGHLY recommend their services to anyone!!!

I cannot say ENOUGH about Joe Toto and his crew from groove!! They provided me with music, photography, videography, up-lighting and sheers. Joe's team was professional and VERY attentive. Marcia and her crew were AWESOME!!! they seemed to be everywhere snapping pictures but were never in the way. I had a few ideas which I know where a pain to pull off but Marcia agreed and did everything with a smile!! Franco did my video and he was AMAZING!!! I am so excited to see the final product. The whole gang was so enthusiastic and made me feel like they were honored to capture my wedding. Joe was AWESOME with his DJing skills!! He kept the party going all night. His up-lighting was awesome and never was overbearing!!! He also provided me with sheers which were also great!! I wish I could have another wedding or big party just to use Joe and his crew again!!!! I cannot say enough!!!!!! You would be lucky to have them at your wedding!!!!!

Joe and his team made our reception awesome! On top of having him as our DJ, we added an uplighting package to enhance our all white ballroom. They did an amazing job with the white drape and lighting. People walked in the room and were blown away!

The music was perfect. We had a mix of age groups at the wedding and Joe played music for everyone. We never had an empty dance floor. We were worried not many people would dance with the generation gaps but everyone was up there all night, even my parents and older relatives who never dance!

My husband and I are so pleased with Joe and his crew. My husband is an Event Manager at a local high end hotel and is seldom impressed with special events because he’s seen it all. Joe and his team really WOW’d him and he couldn’t stop talking about how great the ballroom looked! When we look back at the pics it takes us back to our special day with his unique touches that turned our room into a surreal vision. We even hear great songs on the radio and remember them being played at the wedding.

You will not be disappointed with Joe and his team. They are tasteful, classy industry professionals that will make your event extra memorable.

Peter D. was our DJ. Simply put, he rocks. People were up dancing before dinner was served and didn't stop until he started breaking down his equipment. He took all of our requests (even the more rediculous) and kept our ecclectic crowd happy. All of our guests had a good time and kept commenting on how good Peter did, and how much fun they all had dancing...even my 87 year old Aunt and Uncle got up to cut a rug. If we did it again, Peter would be our first choice.

We used Groove for the uplighting at our wedding, and I am so glad we made this choice. At first, we weren't sure if we actually needed uplighting, but in the end after looking at photos we decided we were going to do it. I am so glad we did! I was given a sneak peak of the reception set-up before the guests were invited in from cocktail hour, and it literally took my breath away!! Everything looked beautiful, but the lighting just made the look. It was spectacular. We had Marc Tarquinio from Groove as the lighting guy at the wedding, and in the run-up to the wedding he was just so friendly and positive in emails, telling us how excited he was to be a part of the wedding and how much he was looking forward to working with us. He was a real pleasure to work with, and really put 110% into making the lighting amazing. I totally recommend these guys, whether you're on the fence about whether or not you want to choose uplighting, or if you know you want it and just aren't sure who to use.

We had Peter Diozzi from Groove Entertainment as our DJ for our wedding on September 24, 2011 and thought he was fantastic! From the get go, i felt as though Groove was very professional on the phone right down to the last week before the wedding where everything was confirmed in detail. I had some nice long coversations with Peter about the feel of the music and what we wanted for that night, and felt he understood me right away! He played such a great variety of music and literally had people on the dance floor from the get go. I also used Groove for their uplighting and they were very flexible with getting that confirmed for us, even when i added it on last minute! EVERYONE at Groove Entertainment is amazing! When I got engaged, I immediately called Groove Entertainment and booked all the services I needed with them! There was no doubt in my mind that we would be using them for our wedding. Every time I had a question about something, they were right there to answer it. Peter, my DJ, made my wedding 100 times better than I could have ever imagined. I had a list of songs I wanted to hear and he honestly got to almost every one! And my photographer, Marcia, and videographer, Franco, were also super easy to work with. They listened to what I wanted and helped me with what I had invisioned for my wedding pictures and video. Me and my husband booked Groove Entertainment for our wedding at Aldrich Mansion located in RI August 26, 2011.

We went with the entire package including dj, photo, video and up lighting. If you are considering booking with groove you really should book the entire package. It is so worth it. The up lighting is a must have it truly transforms your space and is worth every penny.

Having all the vendors under one company really made a difference. They all know each other and work so well together. The entire day went so smooth you didn’t have to worry about a thing. By the end of the day they felt like family!

We have so many great memories to look back on from our special day and couldn’t imagine it without Groove Entertainment. The entire group worked as a team of professionals and our wedding was absolutely amazing!

We got married on August 14th, 2011. My venue had suggested Groove Entertainment for a DJ and also for other services as well. When I called Groove the first time, I was very happy to hear how professional and courteous they were. We were told to check out their website to watch some videos and see if we were drawn any one DJ in particular.
I chose Peter Diozzi, and added a supplemental uplighting package as well. I found myself emailing Peter frequently about silly things, like the fact I forgot my paperwork that was due four days prior, and he rolled with it and let me know it was absolutely no problem at all.
Day of the wedding was the first time we actually met, he let me know our wedding music was in good hands and did a final rundown on everything. The uplighting was amazing! Even though we had a daytime wedding, it still stuck out and made my venue even more gorgeous. Although, I didn't hear most of the prelude music in the ceremony, he let me know he made different folders of all my requests[and there were a lot of them!] He even went out of his way to get the first song I wanted played prior to the ceremony, The Muppet's Somebody's Getting Married! Apparently, I'm the first crazy person to request it, but he made sure that it was played! All of the ceremony music was perfect! After cocktail hour, we moved to the entrance songs, he did a flawless job switching from song to song as the night progressed. As soon as our guests had finished with their entrees the kids began dancing, he did an outstanding job of keeping everyone on the dance floor with his song choices, as well as keeping up with requests. He came up to me and checked if we were still doing the bouquet toss, and I mentioned to him how I didn't think we could because I completely forgot the toss bouquet at my parents...Peter was very quick to remedy a solution for me, and grabbed some flowers off the cake table and found someone to tie it together. Throughout the whole process, he had gone above and beyond what I expected of him. I cannot thank him enough for helping us have our perfect day, it would not have been the same without him there. I would highly suggest to anyone in need of a DJ to use Peter Diozzi!!!!

Peter Diozzi was our DJ, and we can't say enough good things about him! He played exactly the type and variety of music that we wanted witout needing too much direction from us. He kept the entire room dancing the entire night - even before the salad was served! Many people complemented him to us. He could read the crowd and keep people dancing, and everyone had a blast. Highly recommended!

Groove Entertainment was one of the best choices we made for our wedding! Our DJ Peter Diozzi was EXCELLENT, and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. From the time we chose Peter to be our DJ for our wedding, he was very easily reached, very informative, and went out of his way to meet us to go over our music choices. We have had many of our guests come up to us and single out Peter saying to us how good he was. Whether it was the music for the ceremony, introductions, dinner time, or after dinner, everything was perfect. The dance floor was packed all night long! He also has a great wedding voice and truly looks as if he LOVES his job.

On a side note during our wedding it was game 2 of the Stanley Cup finals and being huge Bruins fans we had asked Peter to keep us informed on the game and the score. Not only did he keep us informed he played the Bruins goal horn and song after a goal and announced the goals as if we were at the Garden.

Working with Groove Entertainment for our June 4, 2011 wedding was a wonderful experience. Right from the start, owner Joe Toto was very accommodating, courteous, and professional. Our uplighting looked incredible and truly transformed the ballroom of Raffael's in Walpole into a romantic setting. DJ Dave Natola was a pleasure to work with. He was thorough in ensuring everything we selected was available for the evening and the night of the wedding was great at engaging our guests. Guests are still saying how great Dave was and we would highly recommend him to anyone searching for a DJ for any type of function! Thanks Groove for making our wedding so memorable!

Groove Entertainment was one of the best decisions we made for our May wedding in Boston. They were our DJ (Peter Diozzi) and also did our lighting (and up-lighting) for two different spaces. From the beginning they were attentive, enthusiastic, informative, professional, and personal. They made us feel like ours was the only wedding they had on their calendar this year. They matched us up with a DJ who loves our music genre (mostly disco and 80s pop, with some modern hip hop and dance).

We made a lot of music requests which they honored wholeheartedly. They also brought their own style and what was most impressive was their ability to read the crowd and transition into songs that people WANTED to hear, including some slower romantic songs from time-to-time. We knew we had an amazing night ahead of us when the dance floor was packed during the salad course of the dinner.

Our DJ Peter was amazing. He has a great voice, kept the party fun and casual, was informative to the crowds, performed the role of Master of Ceremonies with style and class... I've seen DJs that try to put on their own show and make it all about them... Peter made it all about us.

They were perfect! We highly recommend using this company. They really care. They contacted us immediately following the wedding to tell us how much fun THEY had. It is an honor to recommend them if you are planning a wedding in the Boston area.

Groove Entertainment & Lighting goes above and beyond what you would normally expect from a DJ. They started my wedding out with a BANG.......after our formal introductions (which they did themselves) we went straight into our first dance, my husband and I wanted to have two dances, and one was to a very upbeat song which was Katy Perry Teenage Dream.......they came up w/the idea that directly after our first dance we should go straight into teenage dream with our guests as well to get the party started, we did it, and boy it SURE DID WORK!!! Everyone loved it and had a blast out on the dance floor all night long! Not only do they provide just music but you can also get your uplighting, band, photography, and video all through them as well in one package!!!! Great Company, Great People!!

OMG booking GROOVE ENTERTAINMENT was by far the best choice Geoff and I made. Let me start off with Marcia: She is the BEST.! I havent seen my pictures yet, but can only imagine they will be perfect. she was so helpful and even took on the roll of my MOH from time to time she made sure I was comfortable. Franco: our Videographer is AMAIZING, he has a bubbly personality and is sooo talented I already saw a sneak peak of a video he created and it looks out od this world.. people are commenting on the quality and how the video makes you feel like you were there... cant wait to see more.. Joe: He is the BEST he kept everyone on the dance floor, he was respectful and fun, everyone is comenting on what a great entertainment he provided... He also provided the lighting and sheers and Boy did my wedding look out of a magazine.. he also provided live music for the ceremony, that was a really nice and romantic touch. in conclusion I was sooo Happy with everything and reccomend them to anyone that;s looking for the Best of everything on their wedding day.

DJ Joe toto was amazing! I have received so many compliments on how awesome the DJ was! He was very throughout, made sure he had all the correct information beforehand. The paperwork they have you fill out prior to the event was organized and gave a good timeline for the night. Joe Toto had everyone on the dance floor all night and truly made our wedding a huge party which is all we could have asked for! If you're looking for a party he certainly knows how to get one started. Highly reccommended!!

DJ Graeme's dedication and awareness served to provide us with a very special wedding day (10-3-10: Topsfield, MA). His set-up for the ceremony and cocktail hour was brilliantly smooth. Sound quality was amazing all day and all night. He was very effective and considerate with coordinating the timeline of events between the other vendors and the two of us.

The reception was a blast as well. His prompts during reception for our introduction, toasts, and hora dance were clear and blended well amongst the mingling and dining of our guests. Also, we were so pleased to hear him play so many of the songs we had asked for; were open for appropriate requests by our guests; for respecting our DoNot Playlist; and plugging in additional selections that were certainly appropriate for the crowd.

All of our guests, young and old, thought DJ Graeme delivered a professional performance that was harmonious with the charm and character of our wedding day.

We will surely recommend your services our other friends who may be getting married in the New England area over the next couple years.

GROOVE IS AMAZING!! Me and my now husband hired groove entertainment as our one stop shop. They sold us a really affordable package of a DJ, up lighting, photography, & videography. We could not have been happier with it all. Joe Toto, the DJ, kept the guests dancing all night and lit up the room with his awesome personality. Marcia was our photographer and we already got our edited pictures back! They came out so great and are a permanent memory of that wonderful day. The room, as well as the photos taken of it would not have been the same without the lighting they provided. It was so easy to deal with just one company for everything rather than calling a million vendors everytime we needed something and it made the day a lot less stressful than it otherwise would have been. We would recommend this company to any and everyone!!

We absolutely loved Joe Toto from Groove Entertainment. Our wedding was wonderful...everyone raved about the great music selections that were played. Even our older guests (85 yr olds) were up dancing! The dance floor was never empty!!! Joe took care of the ceremony music too. I would highly recommend Groove Entertainment. i advise everyone i know to call groove, they are an amazing company, great value packages all one contract and everyone was on time.my wedding was amazing thanks to the the uplighting and dj thanks!

If you want your guests to have a great time and everything to run smoothly during your reception...book Dave Natola. He is extremely professional and knows his stuff! He understands your "vision" and executes on it. He's quick...if you forgot to pick a song for a key dance, etc...he can name atleast 10 songs off the top of his head for you to pick or he'll pick if you want him too. Actually, theres a couple songs he picked that were sooo much better than anything we could have come up with! Dave was awesome and a lot of fun to work with!

Groove Entertainment was awesome!! Joe Toto especially!! We were very explicit with what we wanted (i.e. had an entire detailed list of the timeline of the evening, where and when he needed to set-up, exact songs to play for certain things, etc.). All of that info was sent to him about a month beforehand.

Joe and the other DJ arrived during our cocktail hour and came out while we were doing some group pictures on the lawn - for a 'hello' and hugs, took some of his own digital camera shots, and made sure we were doing OK. He was right on point with the flow of the reception and everyone loved him! We had some unique components to our wedding and Joe did a fantastic job being the "MC" and getting the crowd into it. He got really into it by getting out on the dance floor and making any additions to the night that we asked. Extremely professional and most importantly FUN!!!

Franco did a fantastic job getting in on all of the action and working with our photographers to get some great shots! So friendly and professional. It really helped to have Groove Entertainment service us for DJ and Videography services. They were at ease with each other and with us!

We would recommend Peter D. at Groove to anyone! He was a fantastic DJ, catering to our personal music taste and still being able to fill the dance floor at a 1pm reception! He was not overbearing and blended in perfectly with our celebration. Also, we used Marcia as our photographer, she was incredibly affordable, very sweet, and brought an assistant to take even more shots for us at no extra charge. We cannot wait to see how the photos turned out, but I have a feeling they'll be fantastic!

Peter Diozzi from Groove was our DJ. He did an excellent job of running the reception and keeping the dance floor packed all night. He was able to read the crowd very well. He played a great assortment of music from oldies to hip hop. We are so glad we had Peter as our DJ!

Groove Entertainment was so great to work with! I made several calls over the months to their main number and had the pleasure of speaking with Mark each time. I'm not sure what his position at Groove is but he was over the top helpful every time we called.

Derek was our DJ and he was great! I didn't see very many comments about him online but that is who Joe hooked us up with for our wedding day and we were very happy. We only had one long phone conversation prior to the wedding, and from that he played all the songs we requested, pronounced everyone's name right (a big pet peeve of mine at other weddings we have been to) and played great music all night. He was also very helpful when it came to working with the hotel staff to ensure everyone was on the same page for timing. I would highly recommend both Groove Entertainment and Derek as a DJ!

Our wedding was on September 19th, 2009. Our DJ was Steve Sossong. We are so happy and impressed by how the night turned out. He was able to make everybody dance the whole night. His music selection was just perfect! It appealed to the young and the older crowd. Many of them wish that the night would have been longer as the enjoyed it so much! I also would like to mention that it took some thinking on his part as to how everything was going to get wired, since of the unusual circumstance of having the ceremony and reception on a boat. I would recommend Steve Sossong to anyone getting married and wanting an great DJ.

Our DJ Peter Diozzi was FANTASTIC!!! He respected all our wishes as far as our music choices were concerned and had all of our guests up and dancing the whole night! It was difficult to get the guests to sit down & eat dinner because they were having so much fun dancing! I have had nothing but rave reviews since returning from out honeymoon about how much fun everyone had at our wedding! I would not hesitate to recommend Groove Entertainmnet & Lighting to anyone!

Joe Toto was great for providing the atmosphere I wanted during dinner and for the dancing but he did jump into the middle of the dance floor and lots of pictures of one of the best moments of the night so that was a little disappointing.

they did a pretty good job. the ceremony music i selected to walk down the aisle to was not played at the spot we discussed. i also had issues with the uplighting; i had paid for an entire wall to be covered with sheers, but they ended up only covering 3/4 of the wall because they said on the day of the wedding that that's what i paid for. by then, it was too late to do anything about it because the person who came to set everything up only had a certain number of sheer panels. the music was good, everyone was dancing. you just want to double check everything (details) several times.

Uplighting was AMAZING! It pulled everything together, and looks great in pictures.
Couldn't have been happier with our photographer, Chrissa. She was a joy to work with.

We hired Joe Toto as our DJ. Groove also provided uplighting. The uplighting was awesome, just what we asked for. Joe was pretty good, but he kind of decided to do his own thing rather than what we asked for. He did the music for the ceremony, and he played what we asked for when the bride walked down the aisle, but he didn't play what we asked for when we walked back down the aisle together after the ceremony ended. For the reception, we had asked for italian music during dinner. He was not playing it, and we had to remind him about it and then he just played two songs. When we sat down after being introduced at the reception, Joe came over and told us he had a "surprise" for us, that he was going to have a percussionist play for free. If you don't know what that is, it's a person playing hand drums along with the music that's being played. It was a little weird when he told us about it, but we just said okay. Then when the percussionist was ready, which was right about when dinner was over, Joe played latino music and that's what they were doing it with. This was NOTHING like what we asked for. I was not happy about it, although the ladies in the room got up and were dancing to it. So while the younger ladies really were enjoying it, I could tell that our older guests were like, "what the heck is this?". Luckily we then had to cut the cake after a couple songs and then the percussionist started packing up his stuff. We had asked for top 40's, disco, 80's dance music, and said we liked Michael Jackson. Joe played two Michael Jackson songs, but not one 80's song. And he played some 90's hip hop that he was singing along with. I was okay with the 90's hip hop because I like it, but not him singing. My wife was not into the 90's hip hop, and kinda let him know it wasn't her thing. Overall the music was pretty good, but Joe did not live up to all the hype he pitched to us when we met him, and he was a little too arrogant thinking he could just do what he wanted to do rather than what we asked for.

Groove provided me with a great DJ for my wedding. There were only a few slip ups (I did not want to throw the bouquet and he announced that I would, a few songs with swear words) - and other than that everything went smoothly and he kept the crowd dancing all night long. The dance floor was always shakin' which made things all the more fun! He also listened to my fiance and I about what kinds of music we wanted and made sure to stay within that realm, which we really appreciated.

We hired DJ Joe Toto of Groove Entertainment for our wedding reception after having a wonderful meeting with him. He promised us the world, but turned out to just be a good salesman. Our reception was great, despite Joe pretty much ignoring everything we had discussed at our meeting. We told him that he would have to bring the equipment in through the cocktail hour room, so he should be set up before 5. He assured us that that would be no problem, as he sends ahead his two assistants to set up early in the day, then he just "swoops in" when it's time for the reception to start, ready to go. Well, we arrived at 5:15 to see him in a polo shirt unloading speakers in the driveway! My husband had a few words with him and so did our coordinator. He told my husband to "read your contract" implying that he was contracted for 5 hours, so there was no need for him to show up any earlier. I couldn't believe they were rolling speakers through a room full of guests, it was just awful. Luckily almost no one noticed except for us. As for the music, we had asked that he play mostly older songs for the first hour or so, so that everyone would get out on the dance floor and not just our college friends. Well, the third song he played after the parent dances was rap! Then he kept it going for about a half hour before we asked him to please play some more inviting dance music. We love hip hop, but our parents and aunts and uncles really don't. We had asked him to save the newer music for the end of the night, which he totally did not. A lot of the older guests spent a good portion of the night on the porch, and I think this is why. I could go on for awhile about everything else we didn't like about him, but basically I will just say I don't recommend Joe Toto. He cost twice as much as any other DJ we interviewed, but he was so convincing that we thought he would be worth the price. He wasn't.

We had a very bad experience with Graeme from Groove Entertainment. He has not looked at the wedding plan nee prior to the meeting and has done a bad job with the MC aspect both during intros and speeches. Some of the song tracks were broken! He has not played most of the songs we requested and then rushed us to last dance song. After last dance, he played couple of more songs and our guests noticed how disorganized he was. It was a bad experience even prior to wedding with him being unresponsive to emails.
The only good part with groove was the musician for ceremony and cocktail : yuval. Don't go through groove to hire him- he is a pleasure to deal with.
