GROOVIN' D.J. ~ ENTERTAINMENT

I would recommend not choosing "Groovin DJ" at your next event. They have no music to choose from, their equipment is not of good quality (or they don't know how to use it), drink all of your booze and eat your food, and are very poor in business etiquette. I made the poor decision to go with "Jeff Knowles" of "groovin DJ". Never again. First of all, I just wanted some simple songs played at my wedding... nothing too fancy. "Jeff" said it would be no big deal and that I would for sure find something that he has. Well, the day before my wedding, I wanted him to know what songs to play for the wedding march, precession, etc. So, after having a difficult time of getting him to finally call me back, he did and said that he had none of the only FOUR songs I requested. Weird, because they are songs that are played on the radio... not like I was asking for songs never heard of before. So, he made a big deal out of finding 3 out of 4 of the songs.... one that he did not find was a classic Marvin Gaye song.... who doesn't have that? So then at my wedding I was picking out some other songs to be played instead of the Marvin Gaye song and Jeff had NOTHING! The only songs he had were songs that you would find on your old nokia cell phone. Then, when they did play the song for our first dance, it SCREECHED through the speakers... like he wasn't paying attention at all-- which he wasn't because he was too busy drinking all of my wine. Him and his wife finished off probably, I would say, at least 2 bottles of my pre-paid wine-- that I BOUGHT for my GUESTS! Before I even got my plate for food, he was bugging me about the rest of his money... VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I told him I was very dissatisfied with his service BUT I would pay him... later. He proceeded to ask me 2 more times before going to my husband asking him 3 times.... Saying that "I've been stiffed before"... Not to mention, him and his wife fought with each other the whole time. I only paid $250--- but as little as that is, definitely too much for this guy. Jeff Knowles is very inappropriate and I would not recommend someone I HATE going to him. Please take my advice... do not do business with these people. Oh, and PS, my photographer had to get her iPod for a few of our songs--- if I need to prove my point any more.
