As soon as we met Lucia we knew we had found our wedding planner. Even before we had made our final decision, she was there helping us and giving us tips.

Hiring Lucia was the best decision we ever made. From the beginning she went out of her way to make our wedding what we wanted. She was always there when we needed her guidance and laid out options for us when it came to caterers, flowers, videographers and more. Based on those options, she made the entire process of planning a wedding easy, enjoyable and best of all stress free.

Most of all, Lucia is a really nice person, super organized and easy to get along with. We feel that we have made a friend in Lucia and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Looking back after our wedding, we decided that the best money we spent was on the wedding planner. During wedding planning, and on the big night, Lucia was organized, efficient and calm. She handled everything that I asked her to do with ease and punctuality from negotiating with vendors to handling difficult party guests! She was always upbeat and knowledgable and I can’t imagine how our wedding would have turned out without her. Our wedding was the best evening of our lives, and I know that we owe it all to Lucia!

Lucia Cordone of Guiding Star Events was by far the most helpful person I could have asked for in my wedding. She came up with innovagtive ideas that made me have a beautiful wedding on a VERY small budget.And she was willing to be very flexible with what I wanted. She went above and beyond, especially as she was orchestrating things from Rhode Island to where I was having the wedding near my family in Virginia! I was very impressed with every aspect of her assistance and would highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding.

Although I had only contracted Lucia's service the week and day of my wedding, she was extremely helpful in the weeks and even months prior to the big day. She came to my house a few times to become familiar with the setting which I really appreciated and she was a great resource for local Rhode Island vendors, general wedding questions, etc. which I needed as I live in New York. As for the day of - I really don't know what I would have done without her! It might sound extravagant to think you need a wedding planner, but if you are having one on the larger size (mine was about 260 people), I can't stress how much help it was for us. I knew it would be busy and I knew I would be running around, but I really had no idea how busy it would be! From working with the church to coordinating the band throughout the night, Lucia helped us tie it all together so we didn't have to worry about anything. She had a great calming attitude, but was so organized I knew she had it all covered which let us truly enjoy our wedding!

Lucia was great! Kept my stress level down to the bare minimum it could be. Anything I needed, she was right there! Outstanding from start to finish.

Guiding Star Events was extremely professional and knowledgable about all aspects of wedding planning. Lucia provided a great deal of useful suggestions to cut cost and still provide memorable wedding.

When I met Lucia at a wedding that we did together in Narragansett , I immediately felt at ease with her and her staff. She has a very warm nature and I knew that our bride was in good hands with her. She called me to meet and to go over a few things but didn't overwhelm me with unnecessary details. The bride and her family were very pleased with her and in fact they told me they gave her an A+ for her attention to detail and keeping everything flowing so smooth.
