H2o in Washington D.C. is a great place to have a Bachelorette party. One of my friends decided to throw me a surprise party at H2o and I must say it was a clever idea. Great for surprises because one can trick the bride into thinking they are just going there for a concert when upon arrival, they are actually greeted with a fabulous dinner and all-night dancing. Arrival for dinner around 8 p.m. is the best time because you will be able to enjoy a decent meal and stay for a night of dancing free of charge. The only cons of a bachelorette party at H2o are the service (the waitresses all seem to disappear during the transition from restaurant to club) and the food is not the best quality (but still edible).
Though I would highly suggest H20 as a reception location and for their great buffet catering, the DJ they provided was really bad. We provided him with an itinerary and a playlist, but he still could not seem to get it right. He cut our wedding song after only 1/2 of the song was played (that was not on the agenda).
