Hair Comes the Bride

**This review is for the Laguna Niguel shop.**

I have to give separate grades for the shop and for Katy, who did my hair and make-up.

Hair Comes the Bride (the shop) 3 star
I would never use this shop again. Their communication is terrible and their terms are rigid. They originally told me the BMs would be able to pay their balance the day of the wedding. However, when I verbally gave a count for the BMs, they insisted the payment had to come three days later. At this news, an hour later, one of my BMs backed out of her services. They didn't talk to her directly (even though she was talking to them), but told me that once the verbal was given, there was no backing out. Talk about a petty thing to stress out about. I begged them to let her out of her services and explained that she was having some financial problems and I was completely tapped out. After several phone calls, they finally let her off the hook. Ridiculous.

Katy - 4 star
At the hair and make-up trial I would have given her a 5 star. She did amazing work. My hair looked elegant, my make-up looked natural and stunning. However, at the wedding she had forgotten what we had done for my hair and make-up for the trial. By the time she finished, my hair looked like a drag queen or a Vegas showgirl. I had her pin a bunch of it back to tame it down. In addition to this, the make-up was not nearly as stunning and came off easily.

I have a similar complaint as beachgrl about the shop, but I absolutley loved my hair and makeup on wedding day. It was a million times better than it had looked at my trial and I was even happy with it then. I did feel that my bridal party and family's hair was done a bit rushed and endup looking like it a little bit, but it still all looked nice in pictures and I didnt hear any complaints. I also almost made my groom late because my girl came an hour later than I had remembered her being scheduled for. There was only 1.5 hours for her to do my hair and makeup and we ended up almost .5 hours behind.

I was still very happy with my hair however and Robyn was really really great.
It was hard to get a hold of anyone at the shop and I can usually do most of my contact via email and sometimes those would take a while as well.

Molly with Hair Comes The Bride was so sweet and made getting ready so much fun! She did my hair, my mom's hair, 3 bridesmaid's hair, my makeup and 1 bridesmaid's makeup...everyone looked amazing! I am usually very picky about my makeup but Molly did an excellent job and really listened to what I wanted.

My bridesmaids, mothers and I LOVED Robin from Hair Comes the Bride. All my interactions over the phone and in person were very professional and personable. Robin was an absolute doll and knew exactly what I needed/wanted to make me look beautiful for my wedding day. On the Day of the wedding, she arrived early and got along great with all the gals. this is a website I've spent hours on only because I wanted to buy everything that was there. It has everything you need for decorating your hair. i bought a rhinestone hair brooch which I love and am thinking of going back there to get gifts for my bridesmaids. It's a great place for getting accessories and they have beautiful pieces for every budget.

Rachael was my H&MUA for my trial and wedding day. She was very flexible when my BM's and I all switched up what we had originally told her we were going to do, on the day of. She made me look and feel beautiful! My only complaint is that my hair didn't last as long as I would have liked, but that was in part due to the style (looser and more 'beachy' up do).

I am so thankful that my wedding photographer, Sandy Jackson from Simply Photography, put me in touch with Hair Comes the Bride! I had a fantastice experience! Evelyn was extremely patient and worked with me through all my changes and concerns. She did such an amazing job on my hair and makeup for the wedding! She is the best! Evelyn put up with all my last minute changes and allieviated any stress or worry I may have had about looking good for the wedding. I felt beautiful all day/night and I owe so much of that to her. She is definitely good at what she does, and I will refer her and Hair Comes the Bride to anyone I know who is getting married.

I chose to go with Hair Comes The Bride not knowing much about their company besides what I had read and seen on their website. I booked my services with Gina the owner because she sounded experienced and I just had a feeling that she would make my wedding day hair and makeup dreams come true... I was right!! She was so professional and talented and did my makeup perfect! She accentuated my eyes and made my skin look flawless. For my hair she looked at my pictures and recreated them effortlessly. The total package was more than I could have hoped for and everyone at the wedding and those who saw pictures said I looked like a movie star!! I was just thrilled that on my special day she made feel so special! Cliche but true. I felt so beautiful, and the look on my husbands face when he first saw me will be a memory I keep with me forever. Thank you Hair Comes The Bride and especially Gina for making my wedding unforgettable.
