We hired Erin for month of planning services. Initial meetings went well but at times she was difficult to get ahold of . All communication was via email, which caused a few problems due to lack of clarity/misunderstandings about who was doing what, etc. She was able to sort it all out in the end, she handled the vendor communication in the weeks before the wedding and on our wedding day she handled everything with a smile. As the bride I was not aware of any problems that may have occurred that day. In terms of rentals her vintage props were awesome and just what I was looking for. My husband reviewed our contract and noticed that a few line items promised were not delivered (ie: detailed wedding day timelines to be delivered to guests at the rehearsal), and he feels that we paid too much for the services we received. I would definitely look into the rentals again, 50/50 on the coordination.
Erin was so helpful during the wedding planning process as well as on our wedding day. She and Ashley were great at tying up the loose ends and taking care of the countless details so we could enjoy our day. Hall Events really went above and beyond for us and we loved having them be part of such a special time in our lives.
In six months, Hall Events planned our ENTIRE wedding at our house for 150+ people. (The event had multiple vendors for food and drinks, as well as five levels to the house that had to be accounted for) I’m sure you can imagine the type of feat this is!
They not only gave us a stress free day but they also incorporated ALL of the elements that we had asked for-a quilt table, two photo booths, a dessert room, two meals, three bars, two vintage couches, two vintage chairs, a vintage bath tub (to hold beer), vintage center pieces on 16 tables, market lights for miles, hay bales-the WORKS!! They completed their job flawlessly! This could never have been done without the working relationships that Hall Events has with so many vendors!
At the time my husband and I choose Erin and her team, there was no way we were going to be able to make any of the vendor appointments due to our work schedules. Erin handled every last meeting and detail. All while keeping us within budget!!
I could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding or a sweeter group of people to work with for that very special day!
Erin and her team were very helpful, attentive, flexible, and kind and overall did an amazing job planning and working our wedding. The months leading up to it Erin and I met and planned nearly every last detail and she was able to pull it all off for us on the big day. They did a beautiful job at decorating and even brought some of their own supplies for us to use. They really helped us achieve the impossible, turning a dingy ware house into a beautiful cathedral! We were planning our wedding in La Jolla, California from NYC, and also had a very tight timeline (4 months) from the time we hired Erin. Erin was very supportive, calm and so enthusiastic! We communicated frequently, and she was always very responsive and thorough with her replies. I love that she gave us feedback on ideas and could steer us when we needed guidance and would also help us brainstorm. She would help us with things like shopping for our out of town bag contents and assembled them so we would have one less thing to worry about in the days leading up to the wedding.
She also gave us great recommendations for other vendors (rentals, florist, makeup) since we were not from the area. We love her style - Erin's got a fantastic eye for style and her collection of vintage treasures really added to our wedding.
All in all, we had a wonderful experience with Erin and would encourage anyone getting married or having an event in the San Diego area to contact her. She really took the pressure off of us and made our day super fun and worry-free!
Erin Hall with Hall Events did an outstanding job with planning our wedding from conception to completion. She had everything handled from simple to complex and all of it was done with ease and grace. We had the wedding of our dreams and without her it would not have been possible.
